Unpopular Opinion #3892

This virus is good for the Earth.

Don't get me wrong, I know it's killing thousands at this point and by no stretch of the imagination is this good for HUMANS.

HOWEVER

Look at what the pollution is AROUND the world currently. It's diminishing more and more as the quarantine continues. With less and less people using factories, machinery, vehicles and so on, the planet is begining to breathe again...

Do what's right:

self quarantine (especially if you're sick)

don't go anywhere unless %1000 necessary

stay an arms length away at least (particles from a cough can travel 2 meters in the air)

wash your hands (even steel can harbour germs for 24hrs, besides it's good hygiene)

don't touch your face (as much as possible. If you have relentless allergies like me, you should be more on top of washing your hands) (also the less you touch your face the less acne you get from the oils/food/grease on your hands)

Most importantly don't panic.

Yes this is an uncertain time and it can be scary but we are all together in this. Humankind will get through this. We've gained a small sense of community within isolation. You are not alone. If you are someone who is in need of supplies but are incapable of getting out, reach out. There are people willing to help.
