Daddy Review: The Full Monty Series

First of all, Tom Wilkinson is looking a little rough. And all those years of smoking has done a number on that voice of his.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still hit dat. In a heartbeat. 

But... Oof. It's a shock to the system.

Well, it took 26 years for me to want to fuck any other actor from the original cast other than Tom and Mark Addy. And it's Steve Huison. He was funny and adorable with somehow makes me want to put the dick to him. The same goes for Paul Clayton, who plays Huison's husband. He was a little annoying, but not enough to stop me from liking him.

Another newcomer to the franchise is Darren, played by Miles Jupp. He was so a adorable with those dick sucking lips making him the second guy I'd like to fuck in the series behind this guy...

Mark Addy... DAMN. I need a few hours alone with him.

The only thing I can complain about is nobody showed any skin in this. Well, technically, Mark did when he flashed his belly while closing curtains. But that's it. The show is called The Full Monty fellas.

All in all, I thought was a good show that I enjoyed watching.

Ganadora del Oscar a mejor banda sonora y premiada con un Goya a mejor película europea, The Full Monty se ha ganado un puesto en las películas clásicas de comedia.

Recuerdo haberla visto de pequeña y las carcajadas de mi madre, esa risa que tiene tan contagiosa que hizo que disfrutara de la película aunque ciertas cosas no las acababa de entender.

La semana pasada la volví a ver, desde el siglo pasado que no la he vuelto a ver y la verdad es que su sencillez hace que pases un buen rato en el sofá. Tiene sus puntos cómicos en una época en que la crisis laboral y económica era el día a día.

Cada personaje tiene su pequeña historia y son tan distintos entre ellos, que juntos hacen un equipo excepcional. Muy divertida, entretenida, amena, sencilla y muy noble. Totalmente recomendada, ya que es de los géneros (o el que más) más difíciles de producir porque hacer reír a la gente no es nada fácil.

This is Tom Wilkinson's fourth honorable mention, after Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Priest, and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

The film was directed by Pater Catteneo, who was born in Twickenham, England, and has 16 credits, from an episode on the telly in 1991, to two episodes on the telly now in pre-production.  None of his other credits are notable.

The film was written by Simon Beaufoy, who was born in West Yorkshire, and has 21 writing credits from a 1993 episode on the telly to a film now in pre-production.   He is an Oscar winner for Slumdog Millionaire, and also wrote another entry among my best 1,001 movies, 127 Hours with James Franco.  In addition he wrote The Hunger Games:  Catching Fire, and Battle of the Sexes about the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.

I'm one of like maybe ten people on this site who likes Father Brown, but one of my favourite facts of the show is that Hugo Speer who plays Inpector Valentine also plays Guy in the Full Monty. Guy is described as a man who "can't dance at all but proves to be unusually well-endowed" (according to Wikipedia) and starts a relationship with Lomper who is played by Steve Huison.

Tom Chambers who plays Inspector Sullivan is also a very good dancer which he has proven on Strictly Come Dancing.

I know nothing is going to happen on the show regarding this information, but it just makes me very happy.
