People like to characterize human Spongebob as some waifish barely 20 years old looking twink but honestly I think he'd be more like Pat from the UK version of Ghosts.

Two People Of the Midnight Sun guarding a snared hare against a juvenile sunsinger, a wolf sized mustelid that lives as an ambush predator and opportunistic scavenger in the arctic tundra and gets its name from the male's yowling calls during the springtime breeding season.

These people primarily manufacture small knives for skinning prey and bloodletting their host animals, and do not have weapons capable of dealing with large predators. Their primary defense in this situation is the tried and true predator mitigation strategy of puffing up and making a lot of noise. Like their caelin/delkhin relatives, polar caelin have gular sacs that amplify their calls, primarily used for long distance communication and song but also adequate for making a general cacophony.

This sunsinger physically outmatches its foes by a long shot, but is hesitant to get any closer to a pair of loud, unfamiliar, and seemingly fearless opponents, and quite frustrated about this whole situation. It will most likely walk away from this confrontation hungry rather than risk a physical altercation, particularly when reinforcements from these people’s clan hear all the yelling and come to dive bomb the shit out of it.

While a national organization seeks to track cases of forced sterilization of Indigenous peoples across Canada, Inuit women in the North say the practice hasn't ended.  Karyn Couperthwaite, who lives in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, N.L., delivered her second son via C-section nine years ago. At the time, she said she asked for tubal ligation – a surgical process that would tie her fallopian tubes and prevent future pregnancies.  When her family decided to have a third child, she made an appointment to have the ligation reversed.  That's when she said she found out that her tubes hadn't been tied – they'd been removed instead. Her doctor made the discovery while reading notes in her medical file from the surgeon who performed the operation, she said.  "He had to give me news that I didn't have my fallopian tubes left to try and conceive naturally," she said. "It's very shocking and hurtful, and the sting is still with me even though it's been two years now."  Couperthwaite registered with the Survivors Circle for Reproductive Justice, a non-profit launched in 2024 that helps survivors and advocates for reproductive justice for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.  It's building a registry to serve as an official record of forced sterilization in Canada.

Just imagining if Primarchs canonically had wives/lovers/partners.

Imagine legions of astartes having this respect not only for their Primarch, but for his wife too. The wife representing mother figure to legion even if she is not their gene sire.

Legions protecting Primarch's partner not only because Primarch orders them to, but because she is respected by the astartes themselves.

Imagine Primarch's wife being more involved with Astartes not as general but as mother figure/spiritual/emotional leader. Someone Astartes could confide in about their more humane problems.

Hell imagine Primarch's wife being involved as general if her husband is not available and astartes listening to her council, because if their Primarch trusts her, so do they.

Imagine Astartes mourning loss of Primarch's wife because not only their Father will, but space marines themselves will most likely outlive her. Imagine the statues and paintings decorating the Monastery Temples and her being remembered as the Mother of the legion.

Imagine Chaplains reading prayers to Astartes and there's one dedicated to Primarch's late wife who is now at God Emperor's side protecting the legion as a Saint.

LIST OF DOCTORS IN THE US WHO WILL PERFORM STERILIZATION IF YOU HAVE A UTERUS

Hello everyone- the following is a link to a Google doc containing hundreds of doctors in the US, Canada and Europe who are willing to perform sterilization on individuals who are 21+ regardless of marriage or parental status.

This list has existed for years and is a collaborative effort from patients all over the world to assist people in controlling their own fertility.

The document refers to tubal ligation, however they may offer other methods- for example, bilateral salpingectomy (aka “bisalp”) which is more effective and is becoming more popular with doctors than ligation.

If you know a doctor who performs this type of sterilization, and they are not on this list, please submit their name and location to the email provided at the top of the document.

PLEASE SHARE THIS WHEREVER YOU CAN.

The only thing we can control right now are the actions we take and the community we choose to build with each other.

Suguru teaching himself how to do nails so he's always able to do yours. He loves the look on your face when he finishes them. He tries so hard and at first, he's so ass at it. Nails are crooked, lines are jagged, little bubbles in the polish after it dries. Oh it's a fucking mess. He's embarrassed and always promises to do better the next time. But you love them regardless because even though it took 6 hours for Suguru to do, he made the effort for you. Now after months and months of you letting him practice on you, it's nothing for him to throw his hair up in a loose and messy bun and get your nails looking right.

And all your friends always ask for your nail techs info but you gatekeep so bad 😭🤭
