I didn't post a black picture yesterday. Not that I don't care. On the contrary. I do care and I feel like it's my responsibility to step up and do something, as a human being - no matter my skin color - and as an artist. ⁣ ⁣ But I believe that posting nothing but a black photo on one specific day won't make a real change. It's great that so many people did it because it brought awareness and started a movement.⁣ ⁣ But the movement has to continue. ⁣ ⁣ That's why I wanna do more. In the next few weeks, I will be creating a mixed-media artwork dedicated to the fight against violence & injustice towards the black community. Although I am actually part of the privileged community, it does not mean I must stay quiet. That's exactly the opposite. I must use my voice and my privileges to spread a message of unity, love and respect.⁣ ⁣ That's why I am searching for artists (painters, photographs, musicians...) who actively represent and defend the black community. I would like my artwork to be a mix of your paintings, photos, testimonies linked to some historical facts.
