thinking about angry stepdad!rafey who needs someone to keep him in line wether he likes it or not. ;_;
18+. afab reader. no description of appearance. smut. stepcest. stepdad!rafe. sub!rafe. kind of mean!reader. rafe cameron has a foot kink. foot!job. hints of pet play?? like very low key. kook!reader, but kind of early 2000âs core. rafe is early 40s. reader is 18.
the small pink radio on your bedside table played your favourite station, sat beneath one of your two hot pink lampshades. it was nearing 7:00pm, and you were getting ready to meet your friends at the boneyard for a party. the approaching summer heat filtered in through the open windows, your tulle curtains occasionally swaying with a fresh spring breeze that reminded you of approaching summer vacations of the past. now, you were trying your best to think of anything but graduation.
puckering your pouty lips, you swiped on your favourite lipgloss, admiring your done up reflection in your little hand mirror- before catching sight of your stepfather in the doorway behind you. a sharp gasp left your lips, snapping your compact closed before whipping your head in the smirking manâs direction. âarenât you a little too young to already be showing signs of dementia?â
a wicked smirk glinted across your sticky mouth at the way rafeâs cobalt eyes rolled bitterly. his pink, slightly chapped lips formed themselves into a firm line before enveloping the rim of his glass, downing the bronze liquid without breaking eye-contact. you raised a careful brow. âjust because the door is open, doesnât mean you need to come in. free will works both ways you know.â reopening your compact, you began double checking for any imperfections. as usual, you found none.
a scoff echoed alongside you, not swaying you in the slightest. even when rafeâs tone held more than itâs usual distain. âyou know why iâm drinking this shitty whisky?â
âdonât care.â
âhey.â your stepfather slammed his crystal glass atop your bookshelf with a sharp thud, storming up to your four post bed in record speed before trapping your wrists within his large hands. your compact fell atop your pink sheets, bouncing away from you two as rafe wrestled you to lay back along your bed. you didnât even fight it, only challenging him with a nasty glare that rivalled his own. god, it was like you werenât even your motherâs daughter, rafe thought. his wife was far too meek to ever be able to discipline you, let alone deal with the monster she had created in neglecting to do so. âcut the attitude. iâm-iâm drinkinâ this dog shit whisky because someone replaced my expensive stuff with it, thinkinâ i wouldnât notice.â
a humourless chuckle left your lips, your sultry smile only widening when rafeâs grip tightened. his gold signet ring threatening to leave a brand. âthink youâve had too many bumps of blow, daddy.â the bulging vein in the blondeâs neck jumped in surprise. his angry expression faltering for just a second before hardening once more. you still caught the twitch in his brow, the purse of his lips, the widening of his pupils. you werenât supposed to know about the coke. you also werenât supposed to be going through his office when he and your mother were at the country club- and you sure as hell werenât supposed to be drinking the last of his expensive whisky. one that was now in a silver flask, hidden within the fluff of your teddy bear that was sat on top of the chair in the corner of your room. âyâknow how coke dick can make men act. forgetful and neglectful.â you shrugged your bare shoulders, the soft mounds of your breasts pushing themselves up in your thin tank top with how rafe dug your manicured hands further into your own chest.
the man opposite to you threw you back against your bed carelessly before he let you go, cobalt blue beaming down on you from where he stood. he panted as if he had just run a marathon, eyes wild and unsure of where to look next. meanwhile, you laid back along your elbows, cool and collected as the hem of your matching pyjama shorts fluttered upwards in his eye-line teasingly. rafe breathed in through his nose angrily, stating lowly. âyou tell your mother anything, and iâll-â
âbut we donât have to do that. do we, daddy?â rafe could feel every last bit of dignity in his brain melting away at that fucking name that left your lips. spoken in that saccharine tone of voice you reserved for him and him only. daddy, i need a ride. daddy, tell mom to stop being so mean to me. can i have a hug goodnight, daddy? daddy, thereâs this new purse i want- no matter how much you made him want to pull his own teeth out, he could never say no to you, and you knew that. ânoo. i donât think so.â a soft giggle left your glossy lips at the way your stepfatherâs mouth fell agape, his anger quickly fizzling into arousal.
you knew how pent up he was, he practically wore it on his sleeve. it was a wonder your mother had even bagged a man like rafe. successful, gorgeous, rich, tasteful. you figured it was because of how spineless she was. obeying to his every whim. following him around the outer banks like a lapdog. gushing to anyone who would listen that âthe rafe cameronâ was hers. she allowed him to act like the man of the house- all while he stomped around with his jaw clenched like a child. the elder woman followed every one of his orders. making him a plate every night even if most nights it went cold. pouring him a glass of whisky, even before she left to converse with the real housewives of outer banks at the country club. a glass of whisky she wasnât aware was worth less than $50.00 and had been stolen from a bar on the cut. the only thing she wouldnât give him is what he really wanted. a challenge. not to mention the right touch. wrapped in a pretty little bow that would be both the cause and relief of all his stress and troubles. a sense of relief more medicinal than any line of the purest coke. âit doesnât look like you dipped into that supply tonight, ray.â
your manicured toes that were decorated with a sultry shade of red trailed up the inner hem of rafeâs designer trousers. the blonde manâs eyes fluttered shut, hips twitching forwards unconsciously when the tips of your toes grazed his inner thigh. a choked gasp left the elder man when the ball of your foot pressed against his erection, his hands just catching your ankle before you promptly pulled it away. rafeâs eyes shot open, about to speak before you pointed your foot down towards your hardwood floor. âknees.â
rafe struggled with himself for a moment, physically at odds. he could cuss you out and leave. maybe go to the country club for some proper whisky, and blow off some steam with topper..
his knees bent at their own will, cracking before allowing the man to settle on his calves in front of you. a smile drew itself onto your lips, a sweet one that outweighed the corruption within your expression. the cameron man felt his blood turn gelatinous, rushing like syrup to the head of his cock that pressed painfully against the italian zipper of his pants. âthatâs it.â you cooed at his submission. a shaky breath left rafeâs bitten lips, leaving his mouth agape when the ball of your left foot stroked his manhood up and down at a gentle pace. a deep groan left the blonde, throwing his head back as his hips moved in tandem with your strokes. âdâyou like that, baby?â
rafe choked out another moan, realizing he liked being called âbabyâ almost as much as he liked being called âdaddyâ. ây-yes. holy shit.â you could feel yourself dripping within your panties at the sight of the most powerful man in the outer banks humping your foot like a bitch in heat.
âunbutton your shirt for me, puppy. youâre all rosy.â rafe swallowed heavily at your patronizing tone, heart pounding in his ears while he practically ripped off the buttons on his dress shirt, leaving him in an ivory wife beater. the deft tips of his fingers raced down to the closure of his pants next, but you stopped him instantly. âuh-uh. what did i say?â
rafe groaned in frustration, unable to ignore the feeling of the beads of sweat at his temples, the crook of his neck, beneath the thick material of his pants. he was so overstimulated, so hot. he just wanted to come. thatâs all heâs wanted to do for the past two weeks. every time he was either interrupted by your mother, an associate, or so on. this was the first time you were helping him out, instead of making him jerk off in front of you like you had two weeks ago during his morning shower. his obsession with you had worsened tenfold since that day. he needed you like he needed air to breathe. âplease.â rafe buried his head into your bare thighs, placing open mouthed kisses along the smooth and vanilla scented skin, leaving streaks of drool behind. he didnât care how pathetic he looked. he couldnât. the only thing on his mind being sweet release. âplease. i-i- i need to feel you sâbad, please.â
you watched in fascination at the scene unfolding in front of you. the tight knots of your stepfather unravelling with every hit of pleasure you gave him. he was so pathetic it made your heart race. not to mention your pussy throb.
god, he was so beautiful like this.
âshhh, youâre okay.â full body shudders prompted rafeâs back to twitch, each prominent muscle leaping beneath the taught wife beater he wore. you let your matching manicured nails rake over his shaved head, the once dominant man resting his forehead back on your lap obediently. he felt fuzzy with pleasure, so unbelievably turned on that he couldnât think straight. he hadnât felt like this in years. rafe wound his strong arms around your calf at the feeling of your toes pulling down his pants zipper, his own heavy breathing being the only thing he could focus on. the eldest cameron choked, lifting his cloudy gaze up towards you as your pointed toes dipped into his pants, only the layer of his thin underwear separating your skin. you could feel the warm pre-cum that seeped through the material onto your foot, sticky and wet. you let your soft hand cup his clammy stubble, thumb grazing his cheekbone as he leant into your touch. âthrust.â
you didnât have to tell rafe twice. the man snapped into action, abusing the ball of your foot with the sheer greed of his thrusts. his eyes were nearly black, pupils taking over the now dusky blue of his irises. you hummed in contentment from your place on top of your sheets, catching his attention immediately with the way your soft hand left his head to dip into the waistband of your dainty shorts.
rafeâs entire body felt like it was on fire, desperately chasing his orgasm as best he could despite the sharp ache in his knees. only that didnât matter, the once strict business man was too focused on his stepdaughterâs fingers that were suddenly shiny with her tangy slick. âopen up, handsome.â your sweetness bursting along his tastebuds was the final push rafe needed, groaning around your fingers as thick ropes of hot sticky cum filled the front of his boxers. his brain whited out, eyes rolling to the back of his head while his muscular body convulsed, shakily riding out the last of his orgasm.
you gently pulled your foot out of his trousers once you were sure he was finished, relishing in the soft whine that emitted from him after you scratched behind his ears soothingly. âthatâs a good boy, hm?â
rafeâs hips tiredly nudged against your foot once more at that, making you laugh.

RAFE CAMERON MASTERLIST
Leaving my old life behind to come and live with my mumâs new husband was difficult, especially because I hated him. They had been together a little over 2 years and he was a really nice person when they met, but as time went on he would try and force me to call him dad. Im 18 years old there was no way I was doing that. Maybe if I was younger and didnât know anything else, but Iâm an adult now.Â
BACK STORY BELOW
There was this one time where I skipped a class and he was my emergency contact as my mum was never available, while working long shifts at the hospital. We were both called into the principals office to discuss my punishment.
It wasnât that bad, just an hour after class detention. After the meeting we got back into the car, âMatt Iâm really sorry they called you, I used to skip sport all the time back at my old school. I didnât think it was a big deal -â I was met with a harsh slap against my cheek.Â
The blood rushed to my cheek, a searing pain on the right side of my face. My hand came up to face to cover my face. âI donât like coming down here to fix your mess Y/n.â He looks at me and grabs my wrist from my face âYour mother is not to hear a word about this, understoodâ he yells through my wrist back into my lap. That was the first time he hit me.
There were multiple times after that, that time he got drunk and broke a beer bottle on the wall next to me then slap me saying why didnât clean up the mess or the time I came back from a party at 2am and he threw me into the wall.
_____________ ____________ ____________ ____________ _________
PRESENT DAY
Lets just say I really was hating the idea of moving into his house. On top of all that my boyfriend had cheated on me with my best friend and started dating. I found out last night and broke up with him. He keeps calling me but I just ignore all incoming messages and calls.
Arriving at my new home, i unpack the car and walk beside my mum. Matt walks out and practically makes out with her, leaving me standing uncomfortable. He takes my suitcase and leads me upstairs to my room. Not going to lie it was an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the beach. But if I had the choice of not living here with him Iâd take it.
After organising my belongings and placing them in their assigned places, I felt exhausted. I contemplated taking a shower, but just as I was about to, I heard a knock at the door.
"Y/n, Matt, and I are heading out for a dinner date. There's food in the fridge for you whenever you're hungry," she informed me, and I acknowledged her with a nod. I then entered the shower, allowing the comforting warmth of the water to cleanse away the fatigue from the past few hours.
I got out, brushed my hair and placed a towel around my body. Walking over to my nightstand I grabbed a bra and matching panties, I dropped the towel and slid them on.
*Ding* My phone lit up with another text from Jason:
Jason: âBaby Iâm really sorry about that happened. Can you please talk to me. Baby I love youâ
Seeing that message made me really pissed and I decided to give it back to him.
Y/N: âYou donât have the right to call me baby anymore, you lost that when you fucked my best friend!!â
Jason: âY/n donât be like that. I said I was sorry, you gotta give me some creditâ
âŚâŚâŚ
*Jason Calling* I hesitated before picking up:
Y/n: âWhat?â Jason: âY/n stop being dramatic, I said I was sorryâ Y/n: âIâm not being dramatic Jason, you cheated on me with my best friend. How could you do that?â Jason: âIt was just a fuck baby, it meant nothing. I was just sick of waiting for you to be ready. I have needs too.â Y/n: âYou know you saying all of this make you sound like an absolute asshole right?â Jason: âOMG here we go again, always so sensitive, get over it, so we can get back togetherâ Y/n: âLet me make this very clear, We are never ever getting back together, not now! not ever!â Jason: âYouâll change your mind, I know you w-â Y/n: âNo I wonât, I broke up with you, I donât want to be with you, what arenât you getting? Just leave me alone and fuck offâ Jason: âYou gonna wish you never said that baby!!â he hung up.Â
After casually tossing my phone onto the bed, I descended the stairs to fetch some dinner. Upon returning upstairs, I noticed a tall silhouette across in the next house next door.
Intrigued, I approached the window and observed a handsome young man with a well-defined V line, his towel securely fastened around his waist. I found myself captivated by him, particularly the way he ran his fingers through his curtain-like bangs and subtly flexed his bicep.
He pivoted away from the mirror and locked eyes with me. His jaw dropped a bit, and he ran his tongue over his lips before playfully winking in my direction. In that moment, I completely forgot that I was only partially dressed while sneakily admiring my neighbour.
I offered a smile and then turned away, resuming my seat on the bed. Throughout that evening, I couldn't get the guy next door out of my mind.
The way his towel clung to his waist and the manner in which his bangs gracefully draped across his forehead remained persistent thoughts.Â
The following day, I woke up and glanced at the clock, which showed 1 pm in the afternoon. I slowly climbed out of bed and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. My mom, who had just finished her night shift, had already prepared breakfast for me.
"Hello, dear. How was your sleep?" she inquired, giving me a warm hug. "It was okay," I replied to her question. We sat together as I enjoyed my meal. Afterward, she headed upstairs to get some rest.
Having finished my breakfast, I returned upstairs to change into a cute beach outfit. I then left the house and strolled down to the beach, taking a leisurely walk to clear my mind and unwind for the afternoon.
Sitting by the beach and observing the rhythmic crashing of the waves brought a profound sense of tranquility. In that moment, I felt like myself again, unburdened by the complexities of a new stepfather or the entanglements of a relationship. I felt liberated.
As I watched the sun descend on the horizon, I noticed someone approaching me. He was wearing a white rip curl tank top and board shorts. "Hey, it's you," he remarked as he settled down on my towel.
Puzzled, I inquired, "Hi, do I know you?"
"Well, we haven't formally met, but our eyes have crossed paths, and might I say you look charming in that pink outfit," he commented, his gaze sweeping over me.Â
It finally dawned on me that he was the boy from next door, and I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment. "OMG, that's so embarrassing," I admitted, tucking my head between my knees.
"Don't be embarrassed. I enjoyed it, and judging by your reaction, I'd say you did too," he teased, smirking as I slowly lifted my head, returning his smirk. "I'm Rafe, by the way."
"I'm Y/n," I replied.
We ended up engaging in a lengthy conversation; he was remarkably easy to talk to. It felt like we shared a genuine connection. Rafe confided that he had recently broken up with his girlfriend due to her infidelity, and I shared my own experience of my boyfriend cheating on me and attempting to reconcile.
We laughed and bantered until we both realised the moon casting its shimmering reflection on the water.
"Wow, I didn't even notice it got dark," I remarked as I gazed out at the water.
"Same here," he replied, slowly extending his arm into the sand behind me.
We both continued to gaze at the water, observing the waves crashing. "Would you like to go for a swim?" he inquired, glancing at me and then back at the water.
"First, it's nighttime, and second, I'm not wearing my bikini," I responded with a chuckle.
He smirked and looked down at his hands. âThatâs alright, you donât need them, plus Iâve already seen you half naked anyways remember.â He said placing a strand of hair behind my ear.Â
I responded to his offer with a shy smile. "Alright."
He got to his feet and removed his shirt, exposing his sun-kissed body. Following, I unzipped my shorts and slid them down, allowing them to drop onto the sand.
Then, I removed my top, raising my arms and revealing my C cup breasts in a black lace bra. Rafe's eyes widened when he saw me standing so close, partially undressed. He ran his fingers through his hair and swept it to the side.
He began descending toward the beach, periodically glancing back to check if I was following, and I was right behind him. When my toes touched the chilly ocean, my body tensed up.
Rafe noticed and came over to hold my hand, guiding me into the water. As I ventured further in, the temperature didn't improve; in fact, it got even colder. The water reached up to my ribs, and a small wave splashed onto my face, drenching me in its icy embrace.
"OMG, that's so cold," I exclaimed, looking over to where Rafe had already submerged himself, effortlessly navigating through the waves.
He swam back towards me, stopping just inches from my face. His hands found my waist, and I gladly accepted his embrace, wrapping my legs around his waist. We locked eyes, and I leaned in slightly to gauge his feelings.
He reciprocated the gesture, and our lips gently brushed against each other's. It felt like time had slowed down. I pulled back and grinned at him. His hands moved up my thighs, his fingers lightly tracing over my skin.
He leaned back in and kissed me more passionately. Feeling his hands travel up to my butt and squeeze lightly, making me moan quietly. Which didnât go unnoticed by Rafe, he smiled into the kiss and started sucking on my neck leaving small bruises behind. Grinding my body into his I felt the bulge in his pants poking my pussy. I started to move a little quicker to get some kind of friction.Â
Our moment was abruptly interrupted by a powerful wave that pushed us apart. Emerging from the wave, I spotted Rafe lying face down in the sand, attempting to recover from being knocked over by the ocean.
Chuckling at his predicament, I started to exit the water and lend him a hand. We then walked back to our house, and he paused in front of my place.
"I had a really nice time, Rafe," I said, looking directly into his eyes.
âI really like hanging out with you Y/Nâ He said as he kissed me on the lips again and than another peck, leaving me wanting more. He went to turn but I lightly pulled his arm back âCan I get your number?â I said batting my eyelashes at him.Â
He put his number in my phone and I did the same with his. Walking back into the house I was met with Matt. He looked angry, to be honest I didnât know what was going to happen.
âWhat time do you call this?â He yelled stepping forward. âI asked you a question?â He said again abruptly.
"I'm sorry; I didn't realize how late it had gotten," I whispered softly, attempting to retreat cautiously. However, he seized my arm and pressed me against the wall. His other hand closed around my throat, tightening its grip.
"This is my house, and you will obey my rules and return at a reasonable hour," he snapped, slowly increasing the pressure on my throat.
"I'm an adult, and I can stay out as longâ" My words were abruptly halted by a brutal slap across my face.Â
His ring cut my cheek, causing it to bleed. He released his hold on me and hurried upstairs.
I retreated into my room and slammed the door shut. As I settled on my bed, tears streamed down my face. I drew my knees up to my chest and wept into my pillow.Â
Suddenly, I heard footsteps beside me and turned around quickly, only to find Jason standing there.
"What the FUCK!, how did you get in here?" I asked, quickly rising from the bed and creating some distance between us.
"Your dad let me in, baby," he replied, stepping closer.
"He's not my dad, and what are you doing here?"
"I came to see my beautiful girlfriend. I've missed you so much," he said, brushing my hand with his and leaning in for a kiss. I avoided his advances and settled onto my bed.
"Jason, we're broken up. We're not together anymore. What don't you understandâ"
"For fuck's sake, Y/n! I love you, and I know you love me too," he exclaimed, clenching his fists in frustration.
"I used to love you, and then you shattered my heart when you slept with her!" I shouted back at him. My words clearly enraged him. In response, his fist struck my rib cage, causing an intense, searing pain to shoot through my body.
"You see, when you say things like that, it makes me lose control," he muttered, pacing around as I crumpled to my knees in agony. He returned to me, grabbing me by the hair and flinging me forcefully back onto the bed.
He climbed on top and started kissing me. His hands traveled up my thighs and forced my leg open, pulling my panties down.
I tried to push him off but he was too strong and my rib was throbbing. His thumb came up to my clit and rubbed circles in a rough motion. âStopâŚ..Stop get off, Iâm not readyâ I screamed but he didnât stop.Â
He inserted one finger in to me thrusting at a unforgiving pace. I could feel my walls clenching around his finger, he wasnât letting up.
He had my hands pinned above my head with his other hand, I tried to wriggle out but that just made it more painful. He tried inserting another finger, but I was just to tight.
He tried his best but he lost his grip slightly, which allowed me room to stick my thumbs in his eyes. I pushed in and he let go and stumbled backwards.Â
"Bitch!" He yelled, causing me to quickly retreat to the doorway and dash downstairs towards the front door. Just as I was about to grasp the handle, my head collided with the door, and Jason's hand firmly held it against the door.
"You may have won this battle, but I'll win the war, baby," he taunted before pushing me to the ground and exiting through the door.
I slowly ascended the staircase and entered my ensuite bathroom, where I noticed a slight trace of blood on my thigh. I cleaned myself up and changed into another set of pjs.Â
Switching on the lamp beside my table, a sense of unease crept over me, fueled by the lingering fear that Jason might come back to resume his actions.
*Ding* Incoming Text
Rafe: Canât sleep either? Y/n: Not since I moved here. Rafe: đ˘ What are you doing tomorrow? Y/n: Nothing, Can I come over? We need to talk. Rafe: Yeah, of course see you at 8am Y/n: See you then :)
The morning sun streamed in through my window, and my eyes required no adjustment, for I hadn't slept a wink. It was 7:45 in the morning, and getting dressed proved challenging, given the discomfort I was feeling. Silently, I left my house and made my way to Rafe's door, where I knocked and patiently awaited his response.
As the door opened, Rafe's jaw dropped at the sight of my face. "What happened?" he inquired, opening the door wider to invite me inside.
Overwhelmed by my emotions, I began crying uncontrollably. Rafe enveloped me in his comforting embrace, guiding me into his room, where we sat on his bed.Â
There, I unburdened myself, recounting everything that had occurred the previous night, including the distressing events involving my stepfather. Sharing the whole story felt like finally having someone firmly on my side.
After my confession, Rafe hugged me, not too tightly to avoid causing pain but with enough warmth to make me feel loved. I ended up staying at Rafe's house that night, mainly because he adamantly refused to let me return to my own house alone.
He walked over to his closet and retrieved a spare shirt, handing it to me. "You can change in here," he pointed to the bathroom across the room.
As I closed the bathroom door behind me, my cheeks flushed, and I couldn't quite pinpoint the reason. Perhaps it was because, after everything that had happened with Matt and Jason, I wasn't accustomed to someone making me feel anything other than fear. Changing into his shirt, I returned to his bedroom.
He was sitting on the bed, absorbed in his phone. When he looked up as I entered the room, he made space for me on the bed and handed me a glass of water. I graciously accepted, taking a few sips. He then pulled the covers over my body, and we both laid on our backs.
As I lay there, my hand brushed against his fingers, and I felt my heart quicken. Just as I was on the verge of falling asleep, a noise outside startled me, causing me to sit up abruptly and accidentally bump into Rafe. My heart raced, and I struggled to catch my breath; it was the onset of a panic attack.
"Hey, hey, it's alright. It's just the storm outside," Rafe reassured me, speaking softly. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, guiding my body closer to his.
"Take deep breaths for me," he urged, rubbing soothing circles on my back. Following his instructions, I inhaled deeply and exhaled, repeating the process five times.
"You're safe here, Y/n. I won't let anyone hurt you," he assured me. Eventually, I began to calm down, and we lay back down together. I threw my arm over him, cuddling in, and he reciprocated by hugging me tightly.
The following morning, I awoke to find Rafe setting up breakfast at the foot of the bed, and he greeted me with, "I thought you might be hungry?" as he extended the tray of food, which I eagerly accepted and placed on my lap, the sheets still modestly covering me, and the spread included French toast and waffles; as I concluded my meal, I reclined back in bed and drew the sheets over my face, prompting Rafe to ask,
"How are you feeling this morning, Y/n?" and in response, I lowered the sheet to just beneath my chin and confessed, "Considering everything I've endured, being here with you makes me feel safer than I've ever felt before," causing a blush to tinge my cheeks, to which he gazed into my eyes, smiled warmly, and reassured me
âIâm glad you feel safe here Y/n, Iâd never want you to feel scared here. Your always welcome here, anytime!â He replied, slowly placing a loose strand of hair behind by ear. Looking into his eyes I got that feeling again, like butterflies but a more intense feeling. I really wanted to kiss him, wanted to feel his soft lips on mine, wanted to feel his hands roaming my body.
Snapping out of my thoughts, I just stared and smiled back at him.Â
"I'ma take a shower real quick," he mentioned before heading into his bathroom, and I acknowledged with a nod as I gazed out the window; I rose from his bed and settled by the window, peering into my room, where I noticed my stepfather, Matt, entering.
I quickly concealed myself behind the curtain while still managing to observe him sifting through my belongings, even though I couldn't fathom what he might be searching for; I watched him pacing about my room, flinging my clothes and possessions about.
Then noticed him apparently engaging in a conversation with someone who seemed positioned near my bedroom door; slipping down from my concealed position behind the curtain,
I inched along the floor to another curtain and carefully raised myself to uncover the identities of the individuals outside; my eyes widened as I glimpsed Matt and Jason engaged in an intense argument, leaving me bewildered as to why Jason was present, what their intentions were, and how Matt had come to be in my room in the first place.
Numerous unanswered questions swirled in my mind, and I realised that they wouldn't be promptly addressed; remaining concealed, I continued observing the unfolding scene, as Jason paced around my room with his hands on his head, while Matt vociferated at him, until Jason finally took a seat on my bed and glanced in my direction.
I quietly slid down the curtain and sidled along the wall to gain a different vantage point, whereupon Rafe returned from the bathroom, attired in sweatpants, and inquired about my position on the floor.
I raised my index finger and directed it just beneath his window, indicating the scene outside, and Rafe approached to inspect it further; he observed two men embroiled in an argument within my room.
He looked down at me and signalled you to craw along the floor over to him. I did as he instructed, crawling along the floor not too high so they couldnât see.
I reached him and he pulled me up. My hands slid up his toned body, feeling the grooves in his chest. Finally looking up to his face, he mouthed âWho are they?âÂ
As we clung to each other, I responded, "Matt, my stepdad, and my ex, Jason." He then wrapped his arms around my neck, offering a gentle embrace, and my arms naturally circled his waist, my fingers lightly trailing along his back.
I turned away for a moment, with his hand finding a resting place on my waist as we continued to watch the unfolding argument, and it was during this time that Jason retrieved a small round object from a photo frame on my bedside table, handed it to Matt, and engaged in a conversation with him.
Upon realizing what it was, I exclaimed, "It's a hidden camera!" My exclamation prompted me to whirl around to face Rafe, but as I moved, I inadvertently stepped into view of Matt and Jason, who immediately noticed me and rushed to the window; they then opened it and shouted,
"Y/n, we knew you couldn't have gone far."
Witnessing Matt and Jason exit my room and the house, and hearing their threats to break down Rafe's front door, I clung to Rafe's arm as we cautiously moved toward the front door, with a pressing question lingering in my mind.
I inquired, "What are you going to do?" just as Jason abruptly broke down the door and charged towards me, but Rafe swiftly intervened, tackling him to the ground. Following this, Matt entered the scene and watched Rafe land several blows on Jason's face.
Unbeknownst to me, Matt stealthily approached, and before I could react, his hands encircled my throat, hoisting me off the ground.
My hands instinctively grasped at his wrist, clawing in an attempt to loosen his grip. The pressure around my throat intensified, and my vision began to fade as my hands fell limply to my sides.
Rafe sprang into action when he saw Matt attempting to harm me, swiftly shifting from Jason to tackle Matt. He landed a powerful punch to Matt's nose, and as my eyes gradually reopened, I reached up to hold my neck, which was sore from the attack.
Rafe rushed over to help me sit up, propping me against the wall, his strong hand gently rubbing my shoulder. He anxiously asked, "Y/n, are you okay?" I nodded and replied, "Better now."
With his support, he lifted me to my feet and wrapped his protective arms around my waist. However, our relief was short-lived, as Jason suddenly clicked the safety off his gun, causing both of us to freeze.
Rafe immediately positioned himself in front of me, shielding me from the menacing weapon. Jason proceeded to berate me, claiming that I could have avoided this ordeal if I had just acquiesced to his demands, stating that he could have used me to obtain money from my father before subjecting me to further suffering.
He was on the brink of pulling the trigger when the sound of a car screeching to a halt distracted him long enough for us to seize the opportunity and escape through the back door.
We sprinted as fast as our legs could carry us, but exhaustion eventually forced me to stop. Rafe halted beside me, gently picking me up, and together, we made our way to the Country Club.
There, Rafe arranged for a hotel suite under the name of his best friend, Topper. After obtaining the key card, we entered the suite, where Rafe handed me a cup of water from the bathroom.
I took the water and pulled him down to sit beside me, expressing my gratitude, "Thank you for what you did," a sincere smile lighting up my face.
âI would do it all again for youâ he said as he looked into my eyes than down to my lips and back up again. I leant in and our lips brushed against each others, cupping his hand around my face as our lips connect, gentle at first before he wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me onto his lap, deepening the kiss.
As I rolled my hips against with clothed crotch, I felt that feeling that happens whenever Iâm around him. The feeling of wanting his hands all over my body. Having him eat me out and wanting him inside me.
He stands and flips me over so that heâs hovering over me. I move up the bed more and he follows. I pull at the hem of his shirt and he pulls it off his one hand over his head. He pulls my top off and starts kissing down my collar bone till he reaches my covered breasts.
âCan I?â He questions and I nod. He unclips my bra and throws it away. He sucks against my shoulder as his hands slid to my breasts squeezing them.
âSo Beautifulâ he mumbles in to my neck. He starts rolling my nipples between his fingers taking one into his mouth, licking and sucking on them. Moans escape my lips as I lift my left leg around him to get more friction.
He comes back to my lips inserting his tongue in and swirling it around. âRafe- I need to - I need to tell you something!â I said moaning away as he caressed my boobs.
âYou can tell me anythingâ He said before hovering and looking at me.
âIâve never done this before- had sex I mean.â I spoke softly, fingers dragging down is chest.Â
âDo you want me to stop?â âNoâ I say quickly leaning up to capture his lips. Slowly undoing his drawstring and sliding down his sweat pants revealing his huge cock. I gulped seeing the length and size.
I took his cock into my hand and start stroking up and down, slowly rubbing my thumb over his tip and sliding the pre cum leaking out along his length. His fingers came to my shorts and unbuttoned my shorts pulling them down my legs and throwing them on the floor.
He then hooked his fingers into my panties and slid them off lightly. His hands ran back up my legs, slowly opening my knees, to reveal my dripping cunt. He swiped his thumb over clit causing my hips to lift.
He pushed me back down and dove in, his tongue attached to my clit. My mouth fell open and moans escaped me. âFeels so goodâ I breathed out closing my eyes.
âGood baby wanna make you feel so good.â His hands slid down my thighs and he starts rubbing my clit slowly. âFuck Rafeâ I moaned and he started rubbing faster, his arm hooking around my leg to lift and place on his shoulder.
He gently slid a finger into me, while stroking himself in preparation. I heard a whimper leave his lips as he felt how tight I was. After only a few minutes of his fingers I could feel my stomach turning ready for my release.
He knew this as well by how I squeezed his fingers. âCmon baby cum on my fingers, cum fâme.â He whispered seductively watching as I let go all over his fingers. He brought his fingers up to his mouth sucked all my juices off.Â
He palmed himself a few times before lining himself up with my cunt. âAre you sure?â He asked hesitantly waiting for me to respond. I nod in response. âI need words babyâ .......... âYes!â
He pushed in slowly, rubbing soothing circles on my outer thighs. My mouth fell open and my fingers dug into his biceps. Feeling my walls clench around him, it was stopping him from going in further.
âJust relax, take a breath.â He whispered into my ear. Following his suggestion, I took a deep breath and breathed out, he managed to slid in all the way. He was so big and I felt so full.
He stayed still, waiting for me to adjust to the size. I gave a him look that he could start moving, his cock sliding in and out. My walls clenching down on him with every thrust. He began speeding up the pace, and was left a moaning mess. I felt him twitch inside me and that's when I knew he was getting close.Â
He hoisted one of my legs up onto his shoulders to hit me at a new and deeper angle. He brought his fingers to my clit and rubbed circles, making me release all over his cock. He wasnât far behind at I felt his cock twitch again.
Just as he was about to let go he pulled out and he shot hot cum ropes on to my boobs. He continued rubbing my clit slowly as I came down from my high.
âThat felt so goodâ I whispered to him. He smirked and laid beside me.
âI belong with you Rafeâ I say turning on my side and wrapping an arm around his waist and letting my leg rest onto of his leg.
âYou belong with me.â He whispered as I fell asleep in his arms.

I hate Ward with all my heart but him choking Topper really did something to me. Like yasss daddy choke that motherfucker. Ngl, if I was Topper, I would've been on my knees asking for more. Ward being so overprotective over Sarah is usually fucked up and creepy and often results in things getting shitty, but during this scene?? I was rooting for Ward honestly. Ward was so attractive to me here like shut the fuck up. And, the way he hugged Sarah after??? hello??? DADDY???

LOVED YOU AT YOUR WORST - r.c series - ONE
pairings: ex!sweethearts; rafe x thornton!reader; rafe x sofia. chapter warnings: none (angst) chapter twoâ chapter three â chapter four
The bass from the speakers rattled the glass in your hand as you leaned against the porch railing, eyes scanning the backyard for himâRafe.
It had been a long month.
Longer than you thought it would be. Usually, when you and Rafe had your little âbreaks,â they lasted about a week, maybe two at most. It was always something stupid, a screaming match that ended with slammed doors and his truck peeling out of your driveway. But it never lasted. It couldnât. Youâd known each other too long, been through too much, and deep down, there was this unspoken truthâheâd always come back. Or, you would.
But this time was different.
This time, he wasnât calling or showing up at your window in the middle of the night, eyes tired and sorry, pulling you into his arms. The space between you had been growing wider since his dad died. And sure, maybe it was your fault for what you said after Wardâs deathâBut it was the truth.
Still, you hadnât expected him to shut you out completely. Two months. Two months of silence. And the only thing youâd heard about him since was through Ruthie, Topperâs new girlfriend, of all people. A random comment at Maseâs placeâsomething about how Rafe had been hanging around some pogue girl named Sofia.
Youâd rolled your eyes at that. Rafe? With some Pogue? Yeah, right. Youâd pretended not to care when she tossed it out like it was nothing
You werenât stupid.
Youâd always known Rafe wasnât the easiest guy to love. He was complicated, angry, recklessâbut so were you. And in some messed-up way, thatâs why you two worked. Or at least, why you thought you did. You were just as stubborn, just as damaged. But now, as you sipped your drink and looked around, something felt off. Your gut was tight, and that nagging feeling thatâd been growing restless under your skin since the breakup only grew stronger the longer you stood there.
You pushed yourself off the railing, discarding your drink on a table before moving through the crowd, past people you knew but didnât bother with. Your mind was set on one thingâRafe. You were done with the break. You had your space. Itâs time to get back together. It was never even really a question. It was just the way things worked with you two.
But then there was Ruthieâblocking your path, her wide smile dripping with the kind of smugness that set your teeth on edge. She looked like she was reveling in your misery and that little giggle she let out only made it worse.
"So glad you could make it!" she sang out, her voice too sweet, too bright. Her eyes flickered over you like she was sizing you up, taking stock of every inch of your perfectly put-together outfit.
You forced a smile, âYeah, well, wouldnât miss a party like this,â you said, keeping your tone casual.
You werenât in the mood for whatever game she was playing.
âOh, I just bet,â she replied, her smile growing wider. She stepped closer, her breath reeking of cheap wine, and you had to resist the urge to roll your eyes. Ruthie always drank too much at these things.
What the hell was her problem? She always acted like she knew something you didnât, like she held the keys to all the dirty little secrets in Kildare, and she loved dangling them in front of people just to watch them squirm.
âRuthie, I swear to Godââ you began, but she cut you off, her grin widening.
âOh, honey,â she cooed, her voice dripping with fake sympathy, âdonât get mad at me. Iâm just the messenger. You should really be talking to Rafe about this.â She took a step back, still smiling, and glanced over her shoulder. âHeâs around, you know. You can go find him yourself. See how cozy heâs gotten with her.â
You bit your tongue, jaw, forcing yourself to stay calm. She was trying to get under your skin, like the snake sheâd always been. You couldnât believe Top was lonely and horny enough to finally fall into her claws.
âThanks for the tip,â you gave her a tight lipped grimace, brushing past her, didnât try and wait for her reply.
You only caught glimpses of empty rooms along the way. You hadnât seen him since the break, and part of you didnât want to admit how much that messed you up. How much he messed you up. Your steps slowed as you neared the hall that led to the back of the house, the sound of voices filtering through the air. You recognized some, laughed at the drunken ramblings, until one voice cut through the noise. Rafeâs.
And then you heard hers. No fucking way.
You didnât stop. You couldnât. You told yourself you just needed to see him, just talk to him, tell him this break had gone on long enough, that you were done with the games. Thatâs when you heard it againâher laugh. It was light, flirtatious, the kind of laugh that made your stomach turn into a million different directions because you knew exactly what it meant.
She was there, with him.
You moved forward, the hallway barely lit as you reached the half-closed bathroom door. Your breath hitched, hands trembling as you peeked through the small crack, unable to stop yourself from looking.
There they were.
She was smiling, laughing softly at something heâd said, her fingers brushing through her hair as if she didnât have a care in the world. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched his hands move, tying the knot in her bikini with such gentle precision like heâd done it a thousand times. The kind of softness he used to have with you. And then he said it, his voice teasing, amused like this was some kind of inside joke between them.
"God, this is just landing right in my lap, isnât it?"
You froze.
He laughed quietly, his lips brushing against Sofiaâs shoulder as he tied the last knot, and the way he touched herâlike she was something to be savoredâsent a rush of pure, burning humiliation straight through your chest.
You stumbled back, your heart pounding in your ears as Rafeâs words repeated over and over in your head. Landing right in my lap. What the fuck was this?
Your heart clenched, vision blurring as what you were seeing slammed right into you. You backed away, your hand flying to your mouth to stop the sob from escaping. But it didnât help. Not even Ă little. The tears burned, and you turned quickly, practically running back through the house and out the door before anyone could see the humiliating mess you were becoming.
It was real. He moved on. In two fucking months.
Thatâs all it had taken for him to replace you. To be done with you. He was over you. Just like that.
After everything youâd been through together, after all the times you had to pull him out of his own darkness, after the nights spent in his arms when you thought you couldnât breathe because your whole family was goneâafter years of being his and him being yoursâhow the fuck could he move on when youâd been rotting away in self loathing for pushing him away?
Your head spun as you stumbled down the steps, out to the street where your car was parked. You couldnât breathe. Your breaths were coming out too fast, too shallow, and your hands were shaking so hard you had to press them against your knees to hold yourself up.
What the hell was wrong with you? You hadnât even had anything to drink.
But your stomach was rolling, twisting in knots so tight you could barely stand straight. You leaned against the side of your car, the cool metal grounding you to reality for a second before a wave of nausea hit, forcing you to double over and retch onto the pavement. Tears stung your eyes as you coughed, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand.
You felt dizzy, disgusted even, everything you thought you knew, everything you thought was yours, had been ripped out from under you.
Without a single warning. Not a text, not a stupid call, just pure indifference. No respect or regard for you. None of them. Everything youâd just seen replayed in your mindâRafe, her, the way he touched her like she meant something to him.
âLook whoâs still standing!â Topperâs voice. He was laughing as he strolled over, hands shoved in his pockets, that same carefree grin on his face that he always had at parties. âJesus, what did you have to drink? You look like youâve been hit by a truck.â
Normally, you might have had something to say back, maybe a fiery insult or a roll of your eyes. But right now, everything felt like too much. You couldnât say a word. You could barely breathe.
Your cousin stopped beside you, his grin dropping as he finally looked at you. âHey, whatâs wrong?â He leaned down, trying to catch your eyes. âYou good? You look kindaâ"
You cut him off, the question was heavy, like a lump lodged in your throat. âDid you know?â
He blinked, the confusion spreading across his face. âKnow what?â
You swallowed, your heart hammering in your chest as you forced the words out, your voice shaking. âAbout Rafe and Sofia.â
You hated saying her name.
Hated that youâd been forced to know it by heart. Topperâs smile dropped, his expression changing.
He didnât answer. He didnât have to, you knew him well enough to read his micro expressions. You clenched your fists, it felt like you were the only one in the island whoâd been let out of the secret.
Surely, your friends, your only family wouldâve told you something right? Itâs not like you were on a remote island away from them. Youâd spent the last month in New York, not in the fucking jungle. You visited occasionally. You were a call away.
âDid everyone fucking know?â
Topper exhaled slowly, rubbing the back of his neck. âLook, we didnât think it was serious. You know how it is with you twoâyouâve done this before. Played with other peopleâŚâ
Played with other people. Like you and Rafe were just some game, a revolving door of heartbreak and hookups. It didnât make sense. Youâd always known how it worked, understood how these things wentâsure, youâd had your minor flings, and heâd had his, but it was never real.
You stumbled back, feeling like you might collapse. âOh my God, Iâm going to be sick again.â
He reached out, obviously concerned since he hadnât seen you in this desperate state in years, âHey, hey, calm down. Look, itâs not like it means anything. Rafeâs justâheâs going through a lot with his dad dying, and he⌠heâs just messing around. You know how he gets.â
But the words did nothing to soothe you. They only made it worseâhow everyone knew. How theyâd all watched Rafe move on, while you were stuck, still reeling from the breakup, thinking heâd come back like he always did. And he was just out there, with her.
With someone else. You pressed a hand to your stomach, your head hurting. The idea of Sofia, of Rafe being with someone else in ways that only you knewâways that had always been yoursâmade you feel like you were being torn apart.
Topper was still talking, still trying to rationalize it, but his words were like static now, blending into the noise of the party behind you. âIt doesnât mean anything,â he was saying. âYou know how it goes. You always end up back together. Heâs just doing whatever to distract himself.â
That word. Distract himself. Like your entire relationship could be boiled down to thatâa series of distractions until you decided to come back to each other, to pick up the pieces and pretend everything was okay.
You could still remember the night your life changedâthe phone call, the horrible, gut-wrenching moment when you learned that your familyâs private plane had gone down. Your parents. Your sister. Gone. Just like that. And Rafe had been the one to pull you through it. He was the one who had held you as you cried so hard you thought you were going to die, who sat with you in silence when you couldnât bring yourself to speak, who stayed with you every single night because you were terrified to be alone in a haunted mansion that now felt like a mausoleum.
You had been seventeen, and losing them all at once had killed something inside of you. But he was there. He wasnât perfectâfar from itâbut he knew what it was like to grieve.
He knew loss. He understood. Because youâd been there for him two years earlier, when his mom lost her battle to cancer. You could still see the look in his eyes that dayâfourteen years old and already drowning in so much anger and sadness, like the world had ripped something essential out of him.
The way he cried at her funeral when he thought no one was watching, and youâd found him, sat beside him in the cold, letting him cry without saying a word. You hadnât started dating yet, hadnât crossed that line, but something had changed between you two in those moments.
A connection, a bond forged in shared pain, in the kind of trauma that no one else really got. Maybe that was why you were so obsessed with each other. Maybe it was fucked up, but you couldnât imagine anyone else understanding you the way Rafe did.
How could it all come down to this? To you standing here, feeling like the world was ending while he moved on, laughing and touching someone else like nothing you had ever been through mattered?
Was that it? Did that one moment, that one argument about Ward, erase everything youâd done for him?
All the times youâd been there, the way you had comforted him when he felt like his life was spiraling? You remembered exactly what youâd said a month after the funeral, when your boyfriend blamed everyone but Ward for his own death. "He wasnât a good person, baby. I know he was your dad, but you canât pretend like he didnât fuck you up."
You hadnât even said it to hurt him, not really. It was just the truth. Ward had been a terrible father, controlling and manipulative, and youâd spent years watching Rafe try to live up to some impossible standard, chasing his fatherâs approval like it would ever be enough. But that didnât make it easier for him to hear. You should have known better. You should have known how raw he was after losing his dad, how complicated his feelings were.
But instead, youâd been brutal. Honest, but brutal.
And now, two months later, here you wereâstaring at the empty street, wondering if youâd pushed him too far. If that one moment of honesty was enough to make him forget everything else. Now you were just the ex, the crazy one who didnât know when to keep her mouth shut.
âFuck, why did I say that?â you whispered to yourself, voice shaking. Why couldnât you have just let it go?
But then another clarity of anger took over you, pushing away the guilt that had been building inside. So youâd been too harsh about Ward. So youâd said what everyone else had been too scared to say. It wasnât like youâd been wrong. Ward had messed Rafe up.
Everyone knew it. He knew it, deep down.
You gritted your teeth, staring out at the dark street, the low hum of the party still buzzing faintly behind you. You were never going to get that picture out of your head. Like they hadnât just met, like you hadnât spent years learning how to calm Rafe when he spiraled, how to hold him together when he couldnât hold himself.
Your chest tightened again, a bitter taste rising in your throat.
You could still feel the weight of his head on your shoulder that night, years ago, when his mom passed. The silent sobs that shook his body, the way heâd held onto you. That was the real Rafeâthe one he hid from everyone else. The one who was lost and broken underneath all the anger. And youâd seen him, really seen him in ways no one else ever could. Not Sofia. Not anyone.
"Look, you're emotional, okay? I get it. Maybe it's that time of the month or something. You know how you always get when your hormones go crazy."
The words got to you, but not in the way he probably thought they would. At first, it pissed you off, like it always did when people tried to downplay your emotions. Everyone always said you felt too much. That you were out of control.
But thenâŚ
You stopped moving, blinking rapidly as his words spiraled around in your brain. âTime of the monthâ, he'd said.
Your heart started doing summersaults, your stomach dropping as the idea settled in. You grabbed your phone, hands trembling like leaves as you opened the calendar app. You scrolled, trying to think, trying to remember when youâd lastâŚfuck.
You hadnât had your period in⌠so long.
Almost two months. No. No, no, no. This couldnât be happening. It had to be some kind of fucked up joke.
You felt light-headed as you reached for your car again, your body shaking so badly you could barely stand against the door. "Shit."
How could you not have noticed?
Topper noticed the change in you instantly, his brow furrowing. "Whatâs wrong with you?" he asked, his tone softening a little. "You okay?"
You couldnât even form a sentence. Your brain was too full of what-ifs. Two months late.
You hadn't even thought about it until nowâeverything had taken so much space in your head that you hadn't noticed the most obvious sign. This wasnât possible. Your hand flew to your stomach, almost instinctively. You had no idea what to do with the panic creeping up your throat.
âShit,â You hissed, this time louder, trying to push the growing dread down. But it wouldn't go away.
He was still staring at you, âWhat? Whatâs going on? Youâre freaking me out.â
But you were already backing away, shaking your head, âIâI need to go,â You mumbled, barely hearing yourself.
Your cousin moved quickly to block your path as you tried to make your way toward the door. That kind of protective streak only made you want to shove past him even more.
"Youâre not driving in this state." he warned you, voice firm, his hands up like he was trying to physically stop you.
You just glared at him, âFucking watch me.â
He didnât budge. "You get in that car and I'm calling Rafe," he said, sounding dead serious.
You couldnât believe it. Your head was already spinning, and he was trying to guilt-trip you like this was some kind of helpful thing to do? You threw your hands up in frustration, voice rising, cracking. "Heâs too busy fucking Sofia. Knock yourself out."
The words felt like venom in your mouth, the bitterness rolling off your tongue. You didnât care how harsh they sounded. You didnât care about anything anymore except getting away from this suffocating stupid place. Before he could say anything else, you made your move. You pushed past him with all your strength, chest hurting with the urge to feel something other than this suffocating mess of emotions and confusion.
Your hands shook as you fumbled for your keys. You managed to unlock the door, sliding into the driverâs seat, the cool leather biting into your skin.
You needed to think. But all you could think about was that one, terrifying realization: you might be pregnant.
Your breath hitched, terror swirling around your chest. The calendar app was still open on your phone, the dates staring back at you like a flashing red warning sign, daring you to confront the truth youâd been ignoring. Two months. Two months without a period. And you hadnât even noticed. You pressed a hand to your stomach again, heart pounding as if it was trying to escape your chest. This couldnât be happening. Not now. Not like this.
You werenât thinking clearlyâshit, you werenât thinking at all, but you couldnât stay here. Not with Topper trying to baby you, not with him out there, living his best life like you didnât even exist.
You turned the key, the engine roaring to life, and just as you gripped the wheel, ready to peel out of the driveway, Topper bolted in front of the car, planting himself right there like some kind of human roadblock. Fucking idiot. His arms were stretched out wide, like he could somehow stop you by sheer willpower.
âYouâre not doing this, I swear to God, youâre not!â he yelled, his voice frantic, echoing off the dark street. He looked panicked, pleading even, like he was convinced youâd actually go through with it.
You gritted your teeth, eyes narrowing on him through the windshield. âTop, I swear, you have three seconds before I run you over.â
âAre you serious right now?â he yelled, his voice cracking with disbelief. But he didnât move. âYou think Iâm letting you drive like this? Youâre out of your fuckinâ mind!â
Your fingers gripping the wheel so hard it hurt. You werenât bluffing. You were too wound up, too out of control. The only thing keeping you from flooring him was the fact that, deep down, you knew your cousin didnât deserve it.
You just needed to get out of here.
âMove!â you screamed, âIâm not jokingâ, Topper. Get the fuck out of my way!â
His face twisted with frustration as he looked over his shoulder, something catching his attention. He started waving, yelling at someone, his voice cutting through the night, âRafe! Dude, get over here!â
Your brain stopped. It was like everything had been sucked out of you. Your hands froze on the wheel, your entire body locking up as you looked to your right and saw himâRafe. Right there in the yard.
And she was with him. He had his arm draped around her casually, like she belonged there.
Like he belonged there, just standing in the open, so stupidly comfortable in his new life. His head turned when he heard Topper call out, and your eyes locked for a less than a second. A moment too long. A moment that broke something inside you.
While Topper was distracted, his attention on Rafe, you made your move. You slammed your foot on the gas, tires screeching as the car lurched forward, swerving just enough to dodge Topperâs stunned figure. You heard him yell after you, but his voice faded into the background noise as you sped away.
You didnât look back. Not at Top, not at Rafe.
The only thing you could hear was the sound of your own heartbeat pounding in your ears, drowning out everything else. You hated this. Hated that you were crying. Hated that youâd let yourself get to this point.
âGod, what is wrong with me?â you muttered, your voice quavering as the words tumbled out. âWhy the fuck am I crying over him? I shouldnât be crying over him.â You slammed your palm against the steering wheel, angry, disgusted with yourself.
Youâd told yourself you were stronger than thisâthat after everything youâd been through, you didnât need him or anyone else. But here you were, falling apart like some pathetic excuse of a mess because of him. Because he had always been there, hadnât he? After the crash, after you lost everything, he was the one constant, the one person who kept you from completely losing it. Youâd relied on him so much. Too much.
âFuck,â you hissed, tears streaming down your face. Your throat burned as the memories came flooding back, memories of all the nights youâd spent together, of him holding you while you cried yourself to sleep, of the way heâd pulled you out of the gloom when you thought youâd never get back up again. You thought heâd always be that person for you, the one who understood your broken pieces because he had his own. Youâd always fit together perfectly.
You pulled into the parking lot of the nearest drugstore, your hands still shaking as you put the car in park. The tears had dried up on the drive over, replaced by a cold determination. You didnât want to be here. Didnât want to even think about what you were about to do.
The moment you stepped out of your car and into the harsh fluorescent lighting of the drugstore, you felt completely out of placeâlike a stranger in your own skin. You hadnât even thought about how ridiculous you mustâve looked until you caught your reflection in one of the storeâs glass windows. Your hair, still perfect from earlier, framed your face in soft waves, and your makeup was flawless, despite the crying. The designer dress you were wearingâsleek, red, and worth more than half the shit in this storeâwith its sticky floors and white lights, it made you feel like an alien. Like you didnât belong.
You caught the eyes of a couple of people loitering outside the entrance as you walked in, their stares lingering a little too long, murmuring to each other behind smirks. You knew they were talking about you. They always did, kook queen, overdressed, out of touch, bitch, whatever they wanted to call you.
The sliding doors let out a grating beep as you entered, and the air inside was stale and heavy, reeking of floor cleaner and cheap perfume. You adjusted your grip on your purse, strutting past the aisles with your head high even though everything inside you felt like it was falling apart.
You always did thisâdressed to kill, head up, like armor. But there was no real glamour in buying pregnancy tests from some random pharmacy in the middle of the night. No way to mask the deep, growing hysteria in your bones.
The girl behind the register clocked you the second you stepped up to the counter, her eyes dragging over your like she couldnât quite believe what she was seeing. You could almost hear her thoughts: What the hell is someone like you doing here?
You didnât even look at her. You just wanted to pay and leave without a scene. But of course, people always found a way to make things worse. She hesitated before scanning the tests, looking like she might say something. For her own good, you prayed she didnât.
You threw the money on the counter before she could open her mouth, two crisp hundreds on top of the total. The cash hit the counter with a sharp thwap and you gave her the bitchiest look you could muster. âTake it. Keep your fucking mouth shut.â
She swallowed hard, her hand trembling as she slid the bills into the register. You didnât care that she was young or nervous. You werenât here to make friends. You werenât here for anyoneâs sympathy. The extra money would make sure she didnât talk, that was all that mattered.
You walked out, your heels clicking against the linoleum, head high, even though every nerve in your body screamed for you to disappear. You slid into your truck, slamming the door shut, the silence finally hitting you. For all the designer clothes, the makeup, the moneyânone of it meant shit right now. You felt so small. So scared. Terribly lonely.
You sat there for what felt like forever, staring at the stupid bag in the passenger seat like it had the power to ruin your whole lifeâwhich, to be fair, it kind of did. You didnât know what the fuck you were going to do. Not about any of it.
Your foot tapped nervously against the floor mat, the sound too loud in the quiet car. The bag crinkled as you glanced at it again, your stomach twisting all over again. A bunch of pregnancy tests. How had it come to this?
Rafe. You squeezed your eyes shut, willing yourself not to think about him, not to picture his face when he found out. If he found out. Shit, what the hell was he going to do? He was with Sofia now, right? So was this going to ruin his life too? Did he even deserve to know?
It was probably nothing, you told yourself. Maybe the separation anxiety had gotten to you. Maybe your body was just fucked up from all the stress. Maybe your period was just late because youâd been so all over the place lately. There could be a million reasons. You didnât even want to think about what would happen if it wasnât nothing.
You didnât want to cry anymore. Not after all of this. Not over Rafe. Not over your life turning into some fucking soap opera you didnât even want to be a part of.
The second you were inside your house, the walls closed in around you. Your perfectly decorated placeâthe one youâd spent so much time making into a refuge, an escapeâit didnât feel like that anymore. Every designer pillow, every carefully chosen piece of art, mocking you.
Your phone buzzed in your bag, you reached for it. Of course, it was Rafe.
âI donât know what the fuck that was but save the fucking dramatics, okay?â
The nerve. The fucking nerve of him to act like he was the center of your universe, acting like you were some inconvenience. Months of silence and this was the first thing he decided to text you? Knowing how much you despised when people called you a drama queen? Fucking piece of shit.
Your fingers hovered over the screen, a thousand different responses running through your mind. You wanted to tell him to shove something up his ass. But you did the only thing that felt right in that moment.
You blocked him. You stared at your phone, half expecting it to buzz again, half dreading that it wouldnât. It was done. You cut him off, at least in that tiny, virtual way. You sat there for a minute, gripping the phone, trying to remember how to breathe.
This was supposed to feel empowering, right? You told yourself it would. That cutting him out would help you get back some control. But your mind wouldnât settle. Those damn pregnancy tests were sitting in the bag next to you.
You were tired.
Exhausted in a way that had nothing to do with how late it was or how emotionally spent you were. You kicked off your heels, letting them clatter against the hardwood floor as you sank into the plush couch. Your house felt cold and unwelcoming tonight. Like a showroom. No comfort to be found. Not here, not in the muted tones of beige and white. Not in the sleek lines of furniture that were supposed to exude elegance and sophistication.
Maybe tomorrow youâd feel differently.
Maybe youâd wake up with a clear head, ready to take the stupid tests. Maybe youâd be strong again like youâd been so many times before.
Tonight, you were just tired. You leaned back against the cushions, closing your eyes for a moment, willing the noise in your head to quiet down. Sleep. Thatâs what you needed. Just a few hours to clear your mind, and in the morning, youâd deal with everything.
All of this would go away.

I'm not your enemy
credits: thank you to @mad3ylncline
The sandy building groaned under the weight of time, its cracked walls and sunken roof barely holding together. Dust and grit hung in the air, and the dim sunlight streaming through broken slats created an eerie haze around the tense group.
Rafe stood at the center of it all, the map clutched tightly in his trembling hands. His chest rose and fell with shallow, uneven breaths. He glanced between John B, Sarah, JJ, and Kie like a trapped animal, his paranoia simmering just beneath the surface.
âRafe, baby,â you said gently, taking a small step toward him. Your voice was steady, but your heart was hammering in your chest. âJust give John B the map.â
Rafeâs head snapped toward you, his jaw tightening. His eyes were glassy, tears threatening to spill over. âNo!â he barked, shaking his head violently. âYouâre just going to screw me like everyone else in my life!â
His voice cracked, and the rawness of his words echoed off the fragile walls. His fingers curled tighter around the fragile parchment as though letting go of it would unravel him completely.
âI know you will,â he muttered, his voice breaking as he looked at you. His hands trembled, and his gaze darted between you and Sarah. âYou all will.â
You took a tentative step closer, hands raised to calm him. âRafe, no oneâs trying to screw you over,â you said softly. âWe just need the map so we can find the crown. Thatâs it.â
He let out a sharp, bitter laugh, the sound cutting through the tension like a knife. âOh, yeah? And then what?â His gaze fixed on Sarah, a storm brewing in his eyes. âYouâll just take it for yourselves, wonât you, Sarah? My own sister would rather side with them than with me!â
âRafe, thatâs not true,â Sarah said, her voice trembling. She took a cautious step forward, but JJ grabbed her arm, pulling her back.
âDonât,â JJ muttered under his breath, his eyes never leaving Rafe. âHeâs a ticking time bomb right now.â
âDonât tell me what to do!â Rafe snarled, his voice rising as he took a step back. The fragile map crinkled under his grip, and the group collectively tensed.
You watched him closely, your chest tightening at the desperation in his eyes. This wasnât just angerâit was fear. He felt cornered, betrayed, and utterly alone.
âRafe,â you said again, your voice calm and unwavering. âLook at me.â
His gaze flicked to yours, and for a moment, his hardened expression softened.
âNo one here is your enemy,â you continued, taking another step closer. âIâm not your enemy.â
His jaw clenched, and he shook his head. âYou donât get it,â he muttered, his voice cracking. âTheyâll screw me over, just like they did Dad, just like everyone else.â
âThey wonât,â you insisted, your voice firm. âAnd even if they try, I wonât. Iâm here, Rafe. Iâm always here.â
He stared at you, his chest heaving. The cracks in his armor were widening, the vulnerability he worked so hard to hide bleeding through.
âRafe,â Sarah said softly, her tone cautious but sincere. âThis is what Dad wouldâve wanted. He wouldâve wanted us to work together.â
Rafe let out a harsh, bitter laugh, tears welling up in his eyes. âYeah? Like you worked with him? You let him die!â
Sarahâs face paled, her breath hitching as the accusation hit her squarely in the chest. âHe died taking a bullet for me, Rafe,â she said, her voice trembling but resolute. âHe died protecting me.â
Rafeâs lip quivered, and tears began streaming down his face. His hands shook as he clung to the map, but the anger drained from his expression, replaced with pure sorrow.
Sarahâs heart broke as she stepped toward him. âIâm so sorry, Rafe,â she whispered, wrapping her arms around him. Rafe stood stiffly for a moment before his shoulders sagged, and he let himself lean into the hug. His tears soaked into her shirt as his walls crumbled, his sobs muffled against her shoulder.
When Sarah finally let go, her own tears glistening on her cheeks, Rafe turned to you. His face was still streaked with tears, his vulnerability laid bare in a way youâd never seen before. Without hesitation, you reached for him, your hands gently cupping his face.
âRafe,â you murmured, brushing a tear from his cheek. His blue eyes locked onto yours, searching for somethingâcomfort, reassurance, hope. You leaned in, your lips meeting his in a sweet, tender kiss. His hands instinctively found your waist, grounding himself in the moment.
When you pulled back, your forehead rested against his. âYouâre not alone,â you whispered. âYouâll never be alone as long as Iâm here.â
For a moment, it was as if the rest of the world melted away. Rafe exhaled shakily, his grip on the map loosening as he let the weight of his pain lift, even if just a little.
âThank you,â he whispered, his voice barely audible.
You smiled softly, taking the map from his trembling hands. As the group exchanged nervous glances, you kept your focus on Rafe, your fingers brushing his one last time.
âWeâll figure this out,â you said quietly, holding his gaze as the group began to move out of the crumbling building.
He didnât respond, but the flicker of hope in his eyes was enough.

We NEED more soft!Rafe after the new season. He moved out and got a whole house to himself maybe he could ask his girl to move in? Becasue he wants her there and to be part of his life...his new life where he's a better person
Request: SOFT RAFE PLSSS
I don't know when I found time to write this, but enjoy soft!Rafe asking his girlfriend to move in with him! Feel free to send more requests, I'll write when I find time
Warnings: soft!Rafe, relationship moving quickly, mention of Ward's death
â
ââRafe, I truly canât see. Iâm not cheating,'â you promised as you walked with Rafeâs hands over your eyes. Â
He had picked you up in late afternoon and refused to tell you where you were going. Just that he wanted to show you something...and that you had to close your eyes during the whole drive.Â
Rafe laughed a bit, trusting you. ''Okay, okay.''Â
You walked a few more steps, then he stopped and removed his hands from your eyes, revealing a large two story house.Â
A frown formed between your eyebrows. ââWho's house is this?''
He wrapped his arms around you from behind, resting his chin on your shoulder. ââMine,'' he whispered in your ear, giving you a gentle kiss on your jawline. ââAs of this morning.''Â
Surprise filled your face. ââYou bought a house?ââÂ
Every time Rafe showed up to your place after a fight with his family â most often his father â, needing a bed to crash in for a few days, you tried talking to him about getting his own place. It would solve a lot of conflicts. But Rafe always said he wasnât ready to leave the family nest.Â
Behind you, Rafe hummed. ââI bought it with a part of my dadâs inheritance money. Sharing a house with Rose is not possible anymore. Too much has happened...ââÂ
You covered his hands with yours in silent support. Youâd heard the ugly stories about Rose and Rafe. He hadnât always made the best decisions in the past, but Rose constantly blamed him for everything bad that happened to the family. Rafe may have deep personal issues, but it was wrong of her to villainize him.
ââDo you want a tour?ââ he asked, his voice brimming with excitement, and the eagerness in his eyes made it impossible for you to refuse.
You followed Rafe up the steps to the porch of his new home. He fumbled briefly with the key before pushing the door open, but just as you were about to enter, he pulled you to a sudden stop.
âWait,â he ordered, his strong arms wrapping around you as he effortlessly lifted you up.
You squeaked, startled by the sudden move. ââRafe, we're not married, you know,ââ you said with a soft laugh, looping an arm behind his neck. ââYou don't have to carry me over the threshold."
He set you down gently on the wooden floor of the entrance hall and shut the door behind him.Â
Inside, the house felt big and empty, its openness accentuated by the sunlight streaming through the uncovered windows.
ââI donât know why, but I expected it to be fully furnished,ââ you admitted, glancing towards what you assumed was the living room.Â
Rafe chuckled, his fingers lacing with yours as he guided you further in. ââSome people do buy them furnished, but this one wasnât. Youâll have to help me pick out furniture because I suck at decorating.ââÂ
The kitchen was massive and even had two ovens â a rich people thing. It was unfortunate Rafe didnât cook. The backyard had a large patio where Rafe mentioned wanting to set a barbecue and a firepit, and maybe one of those large daybeds. He wanted his house to be cozy and feel like a home, not look straight out of a fucking magazine.
As he led you into the last room upstairs, the master bedroom, Rafe's voice grew soft. The words were burning on his tongue, but he didnât know how to say them.Â
ââAnd here's our bedroom. I mean, the bedroom.ââ He made a mistake on purpose, just to see your reaction.Â
You tried to hide the smile that spread across your lips, your heart beating fast in your chest. The slip of his tongue hadn't gone by unnoticed. Did he truly mean for you to live here with him? Was this why he took you to the house and insisted on making it a surprise?Â
ââThereâs a big bathtub in the master bedroom, andâââ Rafe continued, moving toward the bathroom to show you the bathtub, but you were not listening.Â
Moving in with someone is a huge step in a relationship, not something you can decide on a whim. You and Rafe had only been together for a few months, so it felt a bit early to take that step. But then again, everything in your relationship had moved quickly from the start. He met your parents two weeks after your first kiss, and said âI love youâ after twenty-six days of dating â yes, you had counted them.Â
When Rafe glanced back at you, he noticed you seemed deep in thought. ââIs everything okay?ââ he asked, an eyebrow raised in concern.Â
You snapped out of your thoughts, shaking your head. ââYeah, everythingâs good,ââ you replied, smiling at him. ââI was just thinking of all the time itâll take us to christen our house.ââ A mischievous grin curled on your lips as you walked toward him. ââMaybe we should start now. Itâs a big house.ââÂ
Rafeâs eyes flickered with surprise as he heard what you were implying. He expected you to refuse, to say it was too soon.Â
ââYouâll move in with me?ââ he asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice.Â
You nodded, and a smile curled on Rafe's face. He's never been happier.

reader cockwarming stepdad!rafe but he canât take it and ends up pounding her until she canât breathe properlyđđ
He had got you by letting you pick a movie of your choice, having now sat through half of it bored out of his mind. He wanted to let you warm up, especially since your ass rested against his already growing cock. You were laid back against his broad chest, pretty eyes enticed into the girly movie. His wife had texted telling him her work trip was going to be another day, making this idea come to his head and all the more reason to be inside his step-daughterâs tight cunt again.
You felt the butterflies hit your tummy as you felt his hands come to pull the tiny shorts you had on aside. You wondered if he was going to do the naughty things you had been thinking about every night for the last week. It wasnât until you felt him pushing his way inside of you that you knew this was reality. He was huge and you had forgotten how full you felt with him inside you.
âShitâŚâ Rafe whispered, cerulean eyes rolling back as you cunt wrapped around him. âStay still and watch your fucking movie.â His voice raspy and he leaned back against the headboard.
You did your best to stay still and be a good girl for him. You poor pussy couldnât help but clench around his massive lenth as you tried to watch the rest of the movie you had picked.
Rafe swore you had the most perfect cunt he had ever been in. He was trying his best to hold it together and not absolutely destroy you. He wanted to be rough, punishing you for having such a pretty wet cunt that made him want to nut inside of you. The more you squeezed around him, the more he began to lose control.
His jaw tensed as he felt your cunt pulse around him, his first instinct being to grip your hips and start thrusting up. He couldn't take it anymore, and quickly put a hand over your mouth as he wanted to enjoy ruining your princess cunt.
âSuch a greedy hole, huh? Keep suffocating my fuckin dick when I told you to watch your fucking movie.â He spat, of course blaming you versus his apparently weak self.
You couldn't speak, voice muffled behind his huge hand. Your baby pink nails dug into the sheets as he sheathed himself inside of you at a brutal pace. The hand that was against your lips quickly moved down towards your neck to squeeze. Your oxygen was quickly cut, making you squeak as he continued the assault on your cunt.
âShhhâŚlearn to fucking enjoy it slut. Because you are getting fucked like this from now on. You and this⌠perfect fucking pussy.â Rafe grunted, music to his ears as he heard your breath shallowing and pussy noisy the closer you got.
You struggled to breathe not only from the way his hand was around your throat but from how fast he was moving his hips up into you. The amount of stamina he had was unreal, and that funny feeling in the pit of your belly was growing.
âD-daddy!â Your voice barely getting out from your lack of breath.
âThere you go, shut up and take it slut. Just because you make a mess all over my big dick doesn't mean I'm gonna fuckin stop anytime soon. I hope you know that.â Rafe told you as you came down onto him hard, trying to cry out but miserably failing.

nobody leaves rafe cameron
toxic!rafe cameron x fem!reader
summary: after a series of arguments with your boyfriend, he has to remind you of your place when you try to leave him.
warnings: toxic relationship, very toxic and mean rafe (meow), arguing, smut, cnc, dacryphilia, choking, degrading, praising, dirty talk, a pussy slap, unprotected piv sex (errr no no), creampie, angst, a lot of swearing, trying to break up, talking bad about your partner behind their back
this takes place episodes 4x1-3
tell a friend to tell a friend, sheâs backkkk
he was so fucking mean.
all you and him had done in the past few months is bicker and argue.
the week had already been shitty, but when Rafe told you he was going to compete in the Kildare BMX Race, you wanted to be a supportive girlfriend.
key word: wanted.
Rafe was tuning up some stuff on his dirt bike, dressed in all black. you sat on the sand next to him, just admiring him as he worked.
it was rare for him to wear all black, and the look was driving you insane.
âyou gonna keep starinâ at me?â Rafe teases softly.
âmhm.â you hummed, grinning.
the announcer came on to say there was about five minutes til the race so everyone should head over to the start.
âhand me my helmet, would ya?â Rafe asks.
you stand up, wiping the sand from your denim skirt and grab his black helmet. you hand him it, feeling his large hand come down to help wipe some of the sand off your ass.
âthere you go,â he coos.
âgood luck, baby.â you murmur, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
he just mumbles a soft thank you, slipping on his helmet as he starts the bikeâs engine, switches gears, and takes off over to the starting line.
â˝ââââââââââââââââââââĽ
the race had been going smoothly. Rafe was in first the entire timeâŚ
until JJ Maybank decided to jump the river bank, landing in front of Rafe.
you watched anxiously, cheering on for your longterm boyfriend. but when Rafeâs front wheel collided with JJâs back wheel, the two guys crashed and were flung off their bikes.
the rest of the racers zoom by, causing Topper to win.
âoh, shit.â you curse under your breath, running over to where Rafe was on the floor.
âare you okay?â you ask, trying to help him up. he shrugs you off of him, too clouded by anger.
he storms over to where John B and Sarah are with you hot on his tail.
âget used to it.â Rafe grumbles, causing John B to look at him.
âwhatâd you say?â John B asks, clearly frustrated. when Rafe doesnât respond, he shoves him.
âwhatâd you say?!â John B repeats, louder this time as Rafe shoves him back.
âget used to it! get used to it, alright? this is forever, yaâll donât get to win!â Rafe yells as Sarah steps in between her brother and husband.
âyou could have killed each other!â Sarah scolds.
âRafe, câmon, please.â you ask pleadingly, tugging on his arm.
yet again, he shrugs you off. due to the sand being uneven, the small movement was enough to cause you to fall on your ass.
but Rafe didnât notice, or, didnât seem to care as he continued to shoot insults at Sarah.
you were now pissed as you stood back up, and then it seemed like your boyfriend remembered you were together.
he tried to wrap his arm around your shoulders for support, still aching and hurt from the crash.
you just shrugged him off, storming away.
ây/n!â Rafe calls after you.
â˝ââââââââââââââââââââĽ
he somehow managed to apologize and charm his way back into your pants the day after the race.
but when you and Rafe walked into Topperâs little celebration party at one of the villas, Topper embraced Rafe into a hug, clearly drunk from the intense game of beer pong.
âyou see him? his dad shot and killed Sheriff Peterkin.â some girl mutters to her boyfriend.
unfortunately, Rafe overheard.
âleave itââ you started, but he was already going over to the girl, who was now backing up against the wall.
âwhatâd you say?â he asks, the girlâs boyfriend pushing Rafe back.
âgo away, Rafe.â the boyfriend grumbles, but Rafe doesnât back down.
âno, no, if you have something to say, say it to my face.â Rafe slaps his cheek for emphasis, but Topper and you move to pull him back.
âhey, relax, okay?â you tried to say, watching him grab a bottle of alcohol and start drinking it.
âjustâ just get the fuck off of me right now.â Rafe says coldly, obviously pissed off about the situation.
you grit your teeth, a pit forming in your stomach as you bit back a response. but you obliged, walking away from him.
â˝ââââââââââââââââââââĽ
yet again, he managed to apologize and charm his way back into your pants, reassuring you that heâs just going through a lot of stress about the deal with Hollis.
but the final breaking point was when your father had came to you about pushing Rafe towards his teetering decision about becoming Hollisâ partner.
you immediately said no, not wanting to go behind your boyfriendâs back. so when you drove over to the yacht club Rafe was at, you found him sipping on a margarita with Topper and Ruthie.
âwhat about your girlfriend?â Ruthie asks, making you stop in your tracks.
it was wrong to listen in on his conversation, but a part of you wanted to hear what he had to say about you.
âwho, y/n?â Rafe asks, making Ruthie nod.
âsheâs not my girlfriend⌠weâre just hookinâ up, yaâknow?â Rafe murmurs, drinking more of his margarita.
a pain started to form where your heart was, a deep frown on your face as he spoke.
âi thought she moved in.â Topper furrows his brows.
âsheâs not going to move in⌠i would never live with a pogue, i have standards.â he explains, making Ruthie and Topper laugh.
that was your breaking point, the point where you were ready to throw the past 19 months away.
because clearly if he couldnât even respect you to his friends, he doesnât respect you at all.
you turned on your heel, trying to leave when you accidentally knocked into a server, causing a glass to fall down.
you swore under your breath, ducking out and leaving. but unfortunately, your boyfriend is tall, and he was able to see your head.
âawe, shit.â he cursed quietly, drinking the rest of his beverage before walking away.
ây/n! y/n.â Rafe calls out, jogging to catch up to you.
âno, Rafe! iâm fucking done!â you yell, storming to your house that was only a few blocks away.
Rafe runs in front of you, grabbing your hips to stop you from moving. âthe hell you mean done?â
âare you dense? weâre over.â you snap, trying to pull out of his grip.
he clenched his jaw, laughing bitterly.
âi donât know what you think you heard, but-â
âi donât think anything. i know you just basically said you could never take me seriously as a girlfriend since iâm a pogue.â you cut him off, lip trembling as you wipe away a tear rolling down your cheek.
âi didnât mean it like that, baby.â Rafe coos, just trying to charm his way back.
âno, stop. itâs not going to fucking work, Rafe. iâm serious⌠weâre done.â
âno, weâre not.â Rafe says, his voice dangerously low.
âyes, we are,â you spit.
Rafe roughly grabs you, pushing you into the back of his car. once youâre inside, he moves on top of you, grabbing your throat with his hand.
âyou think you can just leave me?â he laughs piercingly, his face barely a few inches from yours.
you didnât respond, causing him to squeeze your neck. âi fucking hate you.â
âno, you donât.â Rafe murmurs, unbuttoning your shorts, pushing them down your thighs.
âstop, Rafe-â
âno, youâre going to fucking listen to me!â Rafe yells, forcing you to stare up at him.
ânobody leaves me, you understand?â he asks, his voice breathy and dark.
chills ran down your spine, your eyes wide in fear as your body trembled.
âyou fuckinâ understand?â Rafe reiterates, barely slapping your clothed cunt.
ây-yes,â you whimper.
âgood girl. now, âm gonna fuck this pussy because âs mine, yeah?â Rafe says, not really asking.
all you do is nod in response, hating how your clit is throbbing with need.
âyouâre lucky iâm not gonna make you suck my cock right now⌠just wanna remind my girl that she will always be my girl.â
heâs rambling as he shoves his shorts down just enough for his dick to sprang free. heâs always been well endowed, with an 8.5 inch cock, a pretty pink tip, and two prominent veins you always loved to lick on.
âwearinâ these fucking panties⌠you wanted this, huh? wanted to come and try and make a fool outta me?â Rafe grumbles, pulling the pink lace to the side to reveal your drenched cunt.
you shake your head, tears forming in your eyes from the situation. you were hurt, angry, and fucking horny.
Rafe wastes no time in sliding his cock into your hungry hole, his hand tightening around your throat.
âmhmm, my girl âs always so hungry for me. look at this slutty hole suckinâ me in,â he purrs.
he pushes his hips until your clit is pressed against his pelvis, a few tears rolling down your cheeks with your lip in a pout.
âthatâs a good girl⌠fuckinâ cry for me.â Rafe grunts, starting to piston his hips as he fucks you in the backseat of his car.
your hands gripped the shoulder of the passenger seat and the headrest of the back, pretty eyes fluttering shut as your cunt clenched around him.
âyeah⌠look at you clenching fâme⌠so needy for this dick.â Rafe coos, forcing you to look at him.
âopen your mouth.â
you donât oblige at first, too overwhelmed in pleasure and the fact that youâre getting fucked by the same man who just talked shit about you.
he uses his fingers to open your jaw, spitting in your mouth. âwhen i tell you to do somethinâ, you fucking do it. swallow.â
you swallow his spit, pussy fluttering around his relentless cock.
âgood girl.â
âRafeâ fuckâŚâ you pant.
the car shook as he pounded into your soaping cunt, his balls slapping against your ass.
âtell me who this slutty pussy belongs to.â
ây-you, Rafe⌠my slutty pussy belongs to you.â you trembled, hand gripping his forearm as he continued to apply pressure to your neck.
âyou understandinâ that you can never leave me? that youâll always be Rafe Cameronâs whore?â he coos, his eyes dark, voice low.
you nod, body shaking as your breathing grows heavier.
âthatâs what i thought⌠all you needed was a good fuckinâ and youâre all well behaved n shit.â
his mean words were turning you on more unfortunately, your belly tightening with each rough thrust.
but when he took his hand off of your neck, beginning to toy with your aching clit.
âlook at this clit⌠all swollen n throbbing fâme. fuck, youâre such a needy whore.â Rafe grunts, his cock twitching inside of you.
all you could do was nod, dizzy and lightheaded from pleasure.
âis my girl gonna cum fâme?â he coos tauntingly, the pad of his thumb flicking teasingly on your hard nub.
âp-please⌠please, RafeyâŚâ
he moans at the nickname, losing his composure for a second as his balls clench, trying to hold off his orgasm until you explode on him.
âcome on, baby. cum on this dick.â
at his approval, you let the coil in your stomach snap. you whimper loudly, clinging onto anything you can reach as your body trembles beneath him.
your orgasm triggers Rafeâs, pussy walls fluttering around him so deliciously he has no choice but to cum inside you.
âtake this cum⌠take my fucking seed.â he groans, hips stuttering as he fills you to the brim.
you pant, vision blurry and suddenly needy for water when you begin to come back down from cloud nine.
you pulled him down into a soft, tender kiss, panting into each-otherâs mouths.
Rafe leaned forward, grabbing a half empty water bottle from the cupholder you had left there as he unscrews the cap, holding the hole to your mouth.
âdrink,â he murmured.
you happily complied, the water soothing your throat.
âgood girl,â he hums in approval.
you couldnât help but clench around him at the praise, and Rafeâs head fell slightly at the feeling, a proud smirk tugging on his lips.
he knew he was training you so well, even if you needed a reminder every now and then <33.

1. đź
it was awkward to say the least.
that brand new car smell of rafeâs porche made you queasy, holding your breath to the best of your ability despite your twin daughters babbling in the backseat. they were enraptured with the brand new jelly-cats rafe- or perhaps- rafeâs assistant had purchased for them.
it hadnât always been this way. there had been a time when you believed you knew rafe, the real one behind the glitz and glamour of being outer banks royalty. behind each stinging line and dime bag of coke, cigar smoke, and tightly wound up bills that came with capitalizing on peopleâs addictions. rafe was top dog, barry his right hand man, running their drug operation past the cut and then some under the guise of cameron development- which had been newly inherited.
amidst the fancy cars, motorbikes, top shelf whisky, tannyhill, designer clothes and 18k gold jewelry, you were rafeâs most prized possession. a sweet little bar cart girl from the country club turned co-ruler of the rambunctious beach side town. you were a pogue turned kook long before rafe had noticed you, but you still managed to catch his eye whilst being decorated in vintage prada and blumarine, skipping in the ocean coast at the boneyard.
your romance grew hot, blooming faster than anybody could fathom. within a week you were the angel bar cart girl turned rafeâs lover. you wanted to believe he loved you, did believe him for longer than you should have. even when his saltwater eyes would be rimmed with scarlet, pupils dilated despite the fact that he promised he would stop dipping into his own supply. even when his once gentle hold would leave an ache beneath your tender skin, his gold signet ring often threatening to leave a brand. even when his booming voice would vibrate off the decorative wallpaper, blowing your hair back with the sheer force of his anger in your face.
and especially when you sat alone at the country club, rafeâs empty seat mocking you from where you picked at your cooling dinner, numb to the localâs pitiful and amused stares.
that had been rafe up until your period was two weeks late, two vibrant lines on four home pregnancy tests snapping him into gear. it wasnât a discussion. you would be having the child- children- two twin girls, and he would be the father he never had. he would stop the coke, the dealing, the parties. be the man you always wanted. the man you knew when it was just the two of you between your silk sheets. in the early hours of the peaceful and serene morning, staring at his sober expression that was filled with love rather than turmoil.
that had been rafe for longer than you thought he could be.
âyou sick or something?â despite your exâs harsh tone, you knew he wasnât angry. annoyed most likely- given that this was the first time you had agreed to an outing with him and both of your children since the separation. the children lived in a gorgeous house with you a few blocks from tannyhill since before they had turned one- their fourth birthday now a mere few months away much to your disbelief. rafe had ensured his children would still have a spectacular view of the ocean that he had grown up having. he was good at that. making sure the three of you were taken care of. throwing however much money you needed for necessities, toys for the girls, furniture and decor for the home, and then some for your own pleasure.
your oldest daughter by five minutes- valentine, spoke up. âis mommy sick?â
you quickly turned in your place from the passenger seat, ignoring rafeâs piercing cobalt eyes only to meet valentineâs that matched them almost identically. your mustered up smile quickly turned genuine at the sight of your sweet babies in their car seats, stuffed animals flopped in their laps. ââm fine, val-â
your younger daughter- rosette- or rosy for short, appeared as a mirror of your younger self- with her doe eyes so similar to yours staring back at you. âpwomise?â her sweet voice was quiet, hiding behind her new scarlet bunny jellycat. your expression softened immensely, holding out your chipped manicured pinky. instantly, both of your daughterâs latched on with theirs, the trio of you giggling for no apparent reason, missing rafeâs uncomfortable expression from behind the wheel.
your twins were aware of their father, which was a miracle given that rafe had always struggled to keep his word about being the dad he never had. a continued presence in their lives despite your separation. as the breadwinner however, he couldnât be there all the time- and living separately only made things harder. the heir of cameron development visited at least once a week for coffee at your home. the two of you would watch your daughters play with the new toys rafe purchased for them weekly, helping them when they occasionally got stuck. it would be tense between you two at the beginning of every visit. rafe keeping to a strict routine of asking if everything was working properly, that the girls were healthy, that you had enough. you would assure him every time that you did, but held your tongue when describing your week. he had been in the bahamas on business when you had given birth, but had never missed a birthday since. he had been out at the country club with topper when valentine had said her first word- cat, which caused him to spiral when he heard he had missed it. heâd been absent when they learned how to walk, when they were potty training, learned how to talk, learned how to read small words, write small words. still, he couldnât abandon his legacy for his children that he had spent under a hundred hours with during the year. as long as they had enough.
rafeâs porche eventually pulled up outside of a bakery he had never been to- let alone heard of teetering on the edge of the cut. the blonde held his tongue when you initially offered the location of the establishment you had the liberty of choosing, mentioning that they had a kids menu the girls would enjoy. he wondered if you regularly brought his children to places near or on the poorer side of the island, knowing how firmly against he was on the subject.
it had always been a point of contention between you two that you could never fully assimilate to kook culture. despite your mother becoming a successful name in the real estate business through pure dedication and hard work in your freshman year, you never wanted to take full advantage of it. rafe couldnât forget your old car, one that was still parked outside of your motherâs house the last time he checked. a violet 1965 chevrolet impala that had been passed down from your grandmother after she died. the doors were squeaky, handles slightly sticky, the silver bumper rusted some, and the paint was chipped, but you refused to get rid of it. it was only until rafe threatened to have the piece of junk towed if you ever thought about driving his children around in that metal death trap that you folded. instead, you picked a sensible audi as your new car when he took you to the dealership a few weeks before your separation. a model so unlike either of you much to his chagrin.
speaking of, your vintage handbag that was speckled with age and decorated with cutesy keychains no doubt picked out by your daughters, jingled in the summer breeze when you stepped out of his car. despite how much your stubbornness and individuality got on his nerves, rafe couldnât deny that you still held his heart after all these years. you stuck by him till the end of the line. endured his mood swings, his violent tendencies, his addiction, all because you loved him. he couldnât fault you for leaving when it got to its worst, especially since it was for the sake of your girls. your tearful voice still echoed in his ears as if it were yesterday. i canât have them growing up in this house thinking that this is what love should feel like, rafe. i canât. you canât seriously want someone like you as their example for marriage.
that had kept rafe up at night for months after you moved out.
before he could pull rosy out of her car seat, the blonde heard your soft melodic voice singing from the other side of the vehicle. the short haired man straightened up slowly, as if disbelieving of the sound.
you were cast in a beacon of sunlight. the early summer morning glowing against your stunning complexion that your daughtersâ shared. he hadnât said anything about your darling mini dress when you had opened your front door only a half hour ago, just stared for a moment too long before stepping past you inside. rafe wasnât sure how to verbalize that every time he saw you, you reminded him that nobody else could ever hold a candle to how gorgeous you were.
the eldest cameron inevitably grew up since you discovered you were pregnant. having shaved off his juvenile curtain bangs, swapping his colourful polos and graphic tees with button down dress shirts and neutral designer short sleeves. wearing the family ring on his finger with pride, along with a watch that cost more than the house you grew up in on his wrist. replacing his dirt bike with a number of luxury cars, each more expensive than the last. despite that, he couldnât deny that it seemed like not a second had passed since the first time he saw you in that bar cart, all those reinventions of himself ago.
you were still the sweetest girl in the outer banks apparently. only with him, now, you were more reserved. speaking when spoken to and keeping details concise- just in case he had to fly out the door that next minute to tend to a number of other responsibilities a man like him had. wheezie kept him updated. you still smiled at everyone you came across, kook or pogue- your daughtersâ following in suit, sharing your sweetness. the residents of outer banks only had nice things to say about his family. rafe regularly heard about you picking some flowers for the elderly woman who lived down the road from your home, as her son was one of his business partnersâ.
a few weeks ago, you had donated some of the twinsâ old toys that they explicitly said they didnât play with to unprivileged children on the cut. after he heard about that one- he immediately drove to your house to confront you- the gifts for his daughtersâ meaning more to him than you had initially realized. even still, you were under the impression that his assistant had been picking them out. sensing he felt as if you were donating his affection.
you were perfect in every sense of the word, and rafe couldnât help the feeling of your small hand squeezing around his heart- unable to look away from where you and your eldest daughter were singing a song he didnât recognize. the grip her little hands had on your shoulders tightened after you lifted her up, swinging her around as best you could- much to her delight.
rafe jumped when he felt a tiny hand pull on his left fingers, absent from a wedding band. you two hadnât gotten that far before everything went to shit. the sun kissed man looked down, your doe eyes staring back up at him from where your youngest daughter was still sat in her car seat. his adams apple bobbed with a harsh swallow, quickly unbuckling the little girl before plopping her on his hip. the scent of the baby shampoo you still used on rosyâs hair wafted up to rafeâs nose after the toddler quietly rested her head in the crook of his neck. a dull ache pulsed behind his cobalt eyes when he remembered his little girl as a baby. the chub in her cheeks had softened since then, and rafe knew her features would only keep growing in every day he wasnât there.
the exterior of the bakery was painted a deep green shade, and valentine had excitedly commented on how it was the same colour as your neighbourâs new âboyfriendâ (engagement) ring. inferiority wormed itâs way into rafeâs chest, a feeling that seemed to make itself known when he was faced with the topic of marriage and companionship. you were raised by a single mother yourself. your father having skipped out on the two of you before you learned how to walk. rafe knew you appreciated everything he did for you, but he wasnât blind when faced with that bittersweet look in your eyes every time your daughters would mention something rafe had no knowledge of. wether it be a show, something funny that had happened earlier that week, or something you had done.
the four of you walked through the open glass door, with rafe managing to hide his surprise at the charm of the small hole in the wall bakery. the bottom half of the walls were painted a warm butter yellow, the tops cream with matching engraved trimmings, paired with deep grey tiled floors, and a small strip of patterned green carpet that ran beneath the petite tables on the right hand side of the establishment. each small circular table was decorated with a clear vase of stemmed flowers, coinciding with the decorative floral piece that hung from the middle of the ceiling. a leather booth seat ran down the entire right hand wall of the seating area, turning the corner with a window that faced the lot. the left hand side showcased a matching window, displaying freshly baked bread, along with a glass case of sweet and savoury baked treats. behind the long counter and barista machines was a wooden board displaying the menu, which admittedly looked delicious to rafe.
before he could even speak, a short haired woman walked out from behind the serving counter. âhey, you!â rafe watched intently at the way your expression instantly brightened at the sight of the mystery woman. her quirky mushroom crocheted earrings bobbed when she gave you a hug as best she could with valentine between you. jesus, rafe rolled his eyes. it was as if he wasnât even in the room when the employee started speaking. âiâm so glad youâre here! i was going to text you! architectural digest is doing a segment on flowers in public spaces, and they came in this morning to take photos of your display.â
rafe couldâve dropped rosy at that statement, his pink lips falling agape. architectural digest? your floral display? you made-?
âwhat?â your normally soothing voice was a mix between incredulous and excitement, teary with emotion. valentineâs cobalt gaze finally tore away from the treats, her eyebrows furrowing in concern at the crystals balancing along her motherâs waterline.
âyou- you made that?â rafe asked dumbly, mildly embarrassed at the way his question came out. the employee seemed to register rafe then, her fading smile bleeding with recognition. the cameron man hardened his expression to mask his various feelings at that look, tightening his tense lips before sending a poisonous glare in the short haired womanâs direction. she answered before you did, her initially friendly tone now clipped.
âshe did. sheâs been making them for us since we opened last year.â guilt immediately flooded the manâs rigid body. last year? how had you- the mother of his children- been making floral displays for the last year, and architectural digest knew before he did? rafe turned to look at you, but you stayed silent, choosing to bounce valentine in your arms to avoid his intense glare. frustration began to seep into rafeâs veins, filtering out the guilt in the only way he knew how.
âsheâs always been quite humble, hasnât she?â it would have been a sweet sentiment, had rafeâs bass toned voice not been coated with distain. why hadnât you told him this was something you were interested in? something you wanted to pursue? how did you even have the time to do this? who was watching his children when you were doing this?
the short haired woman turned to look at you, her hardened expression softening at the weak smile of embarrassment you sent her unbeknownst to rafe. âwell, i bought a hundred copies. along with two extras for you and your mom.â
you gasped, unable to do anything but protest. âsandra, you didnât-â
sandra, only laughed as if it had been the easiest decision in the world. âof course i did, and to say thank you for bringing ad to the bakery, lunch is on me today. anything you and the kids want.â valentine laughed when sandra tickled her tummy with her pointer finger, causing you to finally smile brightly once again. the two of you hugged tightly once more before sandra left your family to their own devices, another kind looking employee standing on deck behind the counter for when you four made your decision.
âweâre not done talkinâ about this.â rafe harshly broke the silence between your little family. you didnât respond, only leading the way to a corner table that would allow you two the most room in the albeit empty bakery. there were only two other people enjoying what was assumed to be a coffee date on the other end of the establishment. rafe bitterly couldnât help but wonder how sandra made any money if her bakery was this empty on a friday morning.
your twins were silent, meeting each others eyes with seemingly twin telepathy. you and rafe didnât notice when you both sat down on either side of the corner booth, too engrossed in your own thoughts with valentine and rosy in your laps respectively. âmommy, can we have treats later?â valentine peaked up at you unsurely, foreign to the somber energy you were radiating.
tears threatened to drip down your throat. you were so unsure of how a man who had given you the two greatest and sweetest things in your life could be so mean when he wanted to be. âof course, baby. mommy wants some too. we just need to eat some real food first.â
âwhat dâyou girls want?â rafe asked your daughters, addressing them for seemingly the first time today besides his initial hugs and hellos. you released a breath you hadnât realized you were holding, bouncing valentine on your lap much to her delight while you scanned the kids menu.
âthey have pancake cereal.â you managed to put on a grin for your children, valentine and rosy gasping with excitement once they realized what you had said. rafe furrowed his eyebrows, reading over what that was.
mini pancake cereal
fluffy, house made, mini buttermilk and vanilla pancakes with fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
comes with your choice of whip cream, maple syrup, or mixed berry compote
âcan we please get it, mommy!â rosy exclaimed, one of her tiny fists balling rafeâs black polo in itâs grasp, her other arm clutching her new bunny stuffie to her chest. rafeâs eyes widened to the size of saucers, never having heard his youngest speak so loud unless she was playing tag with her sister. she was usually so shy in her fatherâs mind. you laughed sweetly, as if you were expecting it.
as if it were a regular occurrence.
âof course we can, lovie.â your ex felt his heart swell and break simultaneously while watching you with the twins. you were such an amazing mother. it was so clear you adored them, and in turn they adored you. rafe swallowed dryly when the kids began to babble nonsense about this supposed pancake cereal, letting himself look at you properly. his cobalt eyes raked across the serene slopes of your face, catching sight of the sparkly eyeshadow and rosy lipgloss that decorated your angelic features. it was like you to put in the extra effort on your appearance when going anywhere, something rafe admired heavily about you when you first started dating, but he couldnât help but wonder if you had put in a little extra effort for him this time. it had been years since the pair of you went out like this, only now you had two children who emulated your beauty to a tee.
âwhatâre you getting?â you seemed shocked that he was speaking to you, figuring you would get the silent treatment. rafe sighed through his nose, knowing if he wanted this to be a regular occurrence, he couldnât let his anger get the better of him. you didnât deserve that- no matter how much he made you feel like you did. you watched carefully when his large hand began stroking rosyâs back- as if he had been doing it her whole life. rafe gritted his teeth momentarily, looking away before catching sight of the floral display that hung from the ceiling.
itâs textures were dazzling. a tilted silhouette made up of beiges, hints of yellows, pinks, and whites. vines, cotton ball flowers, feathered plants, and dried flowers were among the many plants it contained. it was masterfully chaotic, and acted as a skillful conduit for the outside to match the in. âitâs beautiful- your- uh, your installation, i mean.â rafe caught himself. âi wish that i-â he bit his lip, chuckling humourlessly at the fact that he could speak to a whole conference room composed of the most powerful businessmen in the country, but couldnât tell you the truth. âi-i wish that i knew that part of you.â
he avoided your eyes, unknowing to the way they softened at his quiet admission. you knew that took a lot for him to admit, to be vulnerable after everything thatâs happened. it wasnât even a fraction of enough to get you back to the highest of highs in your relationship, but it was the strongest start in a long time. âthank you, rafe.â rafe looked at you then, ignoring the goosebumps that travelled up his arms at the way you said his name. you were blissfully unaware that he just narrowly avoided asking all the questions that balanced on the tip of his tongue. âdo you know what youâre getting?â
âiâll do the same.â rafe decided quickly, your eyebrows furrowing when you realized you hadnât told him what you wanted yet. his eyes widened a moment later in realization, clearing his throat to the side before mumbling quietly. âyou- uh, you always used to get the vegetarian hash at the country club for brunch. jusâ thought you would do the same here.â
a sharp gasp left your glossy lips. you couldnât believe he remembered that. thankfully, valentine spoke up before you could internalize what that meant. âmommy, could i get orange juice? rosy wants apple.â
rafe held rosy in his strong arms, cradling the little girl to his chest much to your rapidly melting facade. it was completely different watching him interact with them in public. only having seen him somewhat cautiously playing with your daughtersâ on your living room rug under your watchful eyes, or scooping them up for a quick hug when he came through the front door at the beginning and end of his visits. ââcourse, baby.â rafe answered for you. valentine spared her father a look before turning back towards you for the final verdict. your doe eyes flitted towards your ex, immediately noticing how enamoured he was with rosy on his lap, gazing at her relaxed form with pure adoration. your heart raced at the little grin that spread across his pink lips, rosy staring back at her father with the same agape lips that rafe was often known for supporting.
you spoke up after ensuring both juices were on the menu. âof course, valâs, but you donât have to ask only me. you can ask daddy too.â rafe inhaled a sharp breath, in utter disbelief that you had just acknowledged him like that. a genuine smile directed towards him spread across your lips for the first time that morning. âcoffee. black. no sugar?â
there was something in rafeâs cerulean eyes that gleamed, glittering with cautious hope before he whispered. âyeah. only if you get an oat chai.â
once the food had been brought out, and your girlsâ fruit juices had been poured into their travel sippy cups, the four of you began to eat. sandra had gotten the chef to make the pancakes extra mini, allowing the girlsâ to use their hands and chew their breakfast safely. still, rafe and yourself stood by in case they needed help.
âsâit good, baby?â rafe whispered to rosy, smiling softly at her nod before pressing a gentle kiss to the chub of her soft cheek. unable to help himself, his calloused fingers pinched valentineâs identical chubby cheek, chuckling at her little grin.
it was clear to both of you that valentine was a leader, taking after rafe in that way. she always looked out for rosy. asking her questions that she could answer yes or no to, letting her parents know what her shy little sister wanted in case she didnât want to speak. she was fiercely protective and intuitive, which is why you found that she often assessed your reactions with rafe. she loved her father, but you could tell she was having a harder time completely warming up to the man in front of her. meanwhile, rosy was more than happy to fulfill her role as a daddyâs girl. though it made you nervous for when rafe inevitably had to leave. you tried not to think about it, quickly putting on a smile. âwhat do you say to daddy, lovies?â
âtank you.â
âtank you, dada.â
rafe felt his breath catch in his throat for the twentieth time that morning. it meant more to him than he realized having them acknowledge something so little like breakfast. it was different than toys, a gift. this was time spent with their father, and they were thanking him. the blonde blinked, a wide smile eventually spreading across his pink lips. âyouâre welcome. thanks for cominâ out with me today.â despite him looking at your daughtersâ, you knew the last part was directed towards you. quietly, you reached your left hand out, rafe finally noticing the promise ring he had given you at the height of his addiction adorning your ring finger. it was a smaller gemstone than he wouldâve liked, but he knew you wouldnât have appreciated something so flashy. he hadnât seen it since your separation. your birthstone stared back at rafe, and immediately his right hand caught yours before you could change your mind.
the pair of you tensed up at the feeling of your hands meeting, before eventually relaxing once the initial sparks subsided. rafe gently ran his thumb over the back of your hand, travelling down to the ring he had given you in the bed of his old truck, parked at the beach all those years ago. it had been a final resort to keep you from leaving him, knowing he couldnât do the right thing and let you go despite his addiction taking control of his life. rafe could feel the guilt beginning to swirl in his stomach, parting his lips before valentine giggled mischievously.
âmommy and daddy sittinâ in a tree-â rafe froze, multiple scoldings halted at the hint of shyness that cloaked your giddy expression. you could believe how cheeky your daughters were being in public, but nothing couldâve prepared you for the fire engine red shade that burned atop your exâs now bare ears.
rosy joined with a delighted laugh. âk-i-s-s-r-o-t.â you both laughed at the misspelling, letting go of each others hands almost reluctantly. rafe chuckled again before kissing rosyâs head who giggled. your manicured fingers tickled valentineâs tummy playfully, the little girl squirming in delight at the feeling. the sight of your little family together like this had you wishing that it could feel like this all the time. like rafe had been there everyday since the twins came into this world. that he didnât have to pull several strings to get a day off for the first time in months. you blinked back your approaching tears, hiding your bittersweet smile from behind your lukewarm oat chai.
after cleaning the girlsâ up, and rafe admittedly buying too many treats for just the four of you to go- which you promised the girls as dessert that night despite their pleading- you were driving back to your house. it was a gorgeous day out. the sun not even at itâs peak yet despite the heat already making itself more than known to the residents of outer banks. your manicured nails flicked together in contemplation, the feelings of finality weighing heavily in the luxury car. you knew rafe wouldnât push for more time today. it was a mutual understanding that he was on thin ice, and this visit would be on your terms, but would it be so wrong that you wanted him to stay?
âlovies, do you wanna have a pool day today?â the girlsâ cheered before you could take it back. despite the underground pool that took over most of your backyard, you were terrified at the thought of the girls starting to learn how to swim. they were still so little in your mind. so you conceded, buying them a larger than normal pink kiddy pool in the shape of a heart for pool days. you figured this was something you should speak to rafe about, along with a number of things the quicker your girlsâ seemed to grow up. while the toddlers talked amongst themselves, you hesitantly rested your hand on rafeâs shoulder at a red light, feeling the muscle tense before relaxing beneath your palm. âyou can join too.â the blonde man turned to look at you then, flickering his eyes over your soft expression before nodding in agreement.
rafe stored the treats in your refrigerator while you got the girlsâ dressed in their swimsuits. he had a pair of black swim shorts in the trunk of his car, leftover from when topper or kelce had decided they wanted to spontaneously go to the beach a few weeks ago. you had asked him to fill the pool up after he got dressed, which confused him at first, but now he could see the heart shaped kiddy pool about fifteen paces away from the actual pool. the man couldnât help but chuckle, rolling his eyes half heartedly before he got to work.
once the pool was about halfway filled with lukewarm water- heâd be damned if his babies were cold- he heard the patio door slide open. rafe looked up, spotting the twins dressed in their matching frilly bathing suits with protective hairstyles. valentineâs was a pale teal colour, and rosyâs a vibrant magenta. rafe was ashamed to say he still got the twins mixed up until a few months ago, remedied after he had gifted them little gold necklaces with a âvâ and ârâ respectively. you had smiled softly at his admission, letting him know that the only way you were able to tell them apart at first was because wheezie had painted one of each of their toenails a different colour. rafe ignored the pang in his chest when you told him that. wishing he couldâve seen it. wishing that he couldâve looked up from his own reflection long enough to help you out more.
their little feet padded up to rafe, standing on either side of his knelt down form as he continued to hold the hose into the pool. rosyâs short fingers reached out to touch the stream of water, flinching away while hissing out a giggle at the funny feeling. rafe grinned, chuckling when valentine cutely dipped her spread out toes into the shallow water, her little hands keeping herself steady on rafeâs shoulder. suddenly, he heard the clacking of heeled sandals, whipping his head up towards the sound before his jaw dropped.
it wasnât as if rafe hadnât looked at you romantically since your separation. it was no question that you were the most sought after girl in the outer banks- before and after- the eldest cameron had finally managed to lock you down. he hadnât slept with you- or anyone else believe it or not- since the breakup. the father of your children had only caught pg 13 moments of you when he was lucky. like a stray bra strap showing when the shoulder of your loose sweaters would fall, or the lace of your panties that had peaked out from beneath your mini skirts on more than one occasion. it had him fucking his fist as soon as he crossed the threshold of his home in a way he hadnât since he first started puberty, but fuck. rafe really didnât think you could get any more gorgeous, especially after having his twins. he was wrong. so, so wrong.
a stringy bikini left little to the imagination, revealing your rich complexion that glittered with some sort of oil. the bottom strings were tied high on your hips in bows, while the top was tied behind your neck and between your shoulder blades. you didnât look exactly the same as you did before of course, but god you looked so much better to rafe. your tits were heavier for lack of a better term, and your bottom had filled out, more perky, rounder. the blonde wasnât aware of what he was doing until valentine squealed, the hose water spraying her chubby legs rather than filling the pool. he swore softly under his breath, cursing to himself silently afterwards when he remembered he wasnât supposed to do that in front of the girls. rafe gently pulled valentine further into the sun, giving her nose little butterfly kisses in apology before allowing her to hold the hose for him. rosy glued herself to rafeâs other side, her chubby arms wrapping behind his neck with her warm cheek pressing against his. the elder man smiled widely, wrapping his other arm around his youngest daughter before placing a kiss along her cheek.
unbeknownst to rafe, you werenât fairing any better either. he had somehow filled out even more since the two of you had broken up. his skin was just as golden as it always had been, prompting his shaved blonde hair, strong bone structure dotted with golden stubble, and blue eyes to stand out that much more. his biceps bulged while he hugged your daughters, their little hands pressed against the defined muscles of his shoulders and back. you bit your bottom lip, sitting down on a stray poolside chair before calling out. âsweethearts. sunscreen time.â
âbut mommy-â valentine whined softly, her feet already dipped in the now filled up pool from where she stood inside of it. rafe stroked the little girlâs back, chiding her softly.
âcâmon now, listen to mommy.â your heart swelled. âweâll make it quick.â your eldest grumbled half heartedly, her little humph morphing into an excited squeal when rafe playfully lifted her up with an exaggerated groan. both little girls on his hips cheered with delight, held six feet up in the air as if they weighed nothing.
oh god, you were done for.
âcan you do mine, dada?â rosy asked sweetly, gently playing with his rope chain necklace from where she laid in the crook of his neck. rafe couldnât stop his heart from melting, unable to deny his girls anything- unless you said so, of course. maybe.
ââcourse i can, baby.â valentine reached out for you, rafe handing her off before sitting on the grassy ground in front of you. the other pool chair too far from you and val for his comfort. you bit your glossy bottom lip, giggling at the way your eldest squirmed at the cool feeling of the sunscreen. practically lifting all of her limbs at you like a spider monkey to somehow make the process go faster.
a few minutes later, rafe had gotten your youngest daughter pretty much covered besides her face, which he took his sweet time with. you furrowed your eyebrows at the way he applied the sun cream with his fingertips, rosy turned away from you. it wasnât until he turned your youngest daughter around to reveal a little white nose and slightly messy kitten whiskers made from sunscreen, that you laughed louder than expected. valentine gasped, giggling along with you much to rosyâs confusion. quickly, you pulled out your phone, snapping a few too many pictures of your oblivious daughter and an amused rafe behind her. âi want one too!â valentine hopped off your lap, running to her father before presenting her already sun screened face.
you showed the pictures to a curious rosy while rafe got to work, giggling at her little gasp and toothy grin at the artwork on her face. after snapping âa fewâ more pictures of your little kittens, they ran off into the pool, toys of their choosing scattered throughout the water. you smiled at the way rafe didnât take his eyes off of them, turning your chair horizontally much to his confusion. âcâmon, we can share it.â the blonde got up after a beat, sitting down while you stood above him. âdâyou want a beer?â
a careful eyebrow raised itself on his handsome face. âyou trynaâ get me drunk?â rafe naturally smirked when you rolled your eyes sexily, dragging his cerulean gaze up and down your perfect form while you walked back inside the house to get said beer.
soon, you returned with two small coolers filled with ice. the one you placed next to rafe had a few imported beers from mexico, and some drinks for yourself. the ones for your daughters next to their kitty pool held sippy cups of watered down juice, and little bottles of water.
handing an open beer to rafe, you sat next to him beneath the large umbrella above the pool chair. he thanked you, clinking your drinks for good luck before taking a sip. the pair of you sat quietly for a few moments, basking in the heat while watching your daughters play in their pool a few feet away. rafe scrunched his nose suddenly, stroking the back of his neck before leaning forwards- elbows to knees. âso uh.. tell me about your flower installations.â
you smiled softly, shrugging. âi donât really know what to say. i..â rafe turned to look at you, admiring the way your expression softened when thinking about something that clearly brought you joy. you looked hopeful. such a contrast from the stoicism and defeat you exhibited when you were with him. âyou remember topperâs ex girlfriend? ruthie?â
your ex scoffed out a laugh at that, sipping his beer before nodding. âyeah. i remember her.â amused giggles left your lips, reminiscing about how tumultuous their relationship had been when you were only teenagers.
âwell, she invited me to her wedding two years ago-â
âno.â rafe laughed incredulously. âyou went to that?â you hid your face in your left hand to mask your laughter, birthstone catching his eyes again. before he could overthink it, he nudged your thigh with his playfully. âkay. so after you watched her uncle kiss her cousin, what happened-?â
âoh god. i wasnât there long enough for that. the girls were at my momâs and rosy caught a cold somehow-â
âwhat?â rafeâs relaxed demeanour went rigid. you turned your focus to him, a sad smile painting your lips when you took in his reaction. âwhy didnât you call me-?â
âi tried. your phone kept going to voicemail, so i called your assistant and they said you were on business, and that they would let you know i called.â rafeâs mouth fell agape, sighing irritatedly before pinching the bridge of his nose to will away his oncoming tension headache. he hadnât been away for business. he had taken topper to his bahamas vacation house to drink away his sorrows like a sorority girl. he couldnât believe- âbut she was fine the next morning. the paediatrician told us it was only a twenty-four hour cold. so when you called back, i didnât want to worry you-â
rafe grabbed your hand before he could stop himself, immediately softening his hold when you flinched out of habit. the elder man swallowed then, eyes filled with anguish before gradually tilting his head forwards to show you he meant no harm. âyou donât ever worry about worrying me, or bothering me. not when- not when it comes to the girls.. and- and especially not when it comes to you, a-aâight-?â he cut himself off while he was ahead, unsure of how to continue without ruining more than he already had. you set down your drink, pulling your smaller hand out of his grip softly much to his disappointment. shockingly though, your palms enveloped the sides of his face. rafe spared a look at you, afraid to even breathe at the risk of breaking the moment. as if it were the easiest decision of your life, you stroked the soft pad of your thumb over the approaching wrinkles along his forehead, softening the tension in his face as best you could. gently, you placed a feather soft kiss to the same area, eyes watering at the sound of the shaky breath that left the man who still held your heart after everything.
âi promise.â
the sound of ice pouring into water caught both of your attentions, snapping your heads towards the kitty pool that was now bobbing with ice cubes. valentine gently dropped the empty cooler on the grass, bottles fallen beside it. she placed her sunglasses over her eyes with a sigh before laying in the pool next to her sister- who looked equally as relaxed. your jaw dropped at the way their little arms rested behind their heads, unable to hold back your laughter after rafe commented incredulously. âthereâs no way that just happened.â
you attempted to cover your mouth, but just couldnât stop laughing. âin case you were unsure that val was yours-â
âthat has you written all over it! are you kidding?â you knew rafe wasnât mad despite his indignant tone, his smile threatening to take over his entire face. you giggled, even while standing up to reach for a beach umbrella behind you. âwhatâre you doing?â
âiâm just gonna go set this up by their little pool. they must be so hot-â before you could even blink, rafe took the umbrella from your hands. you couldnât help but stand there dumbly, your ex flicking his head back in the direction of the pool chair.
ârelax. i got it, mama.â a red hot desire burst through your veins at how easily those words left his mouth, forgetting how slick it could be. as if that werenât enough, rafe tucked his head down to place a chapped kiss along your cheekbone, already on his way to your daughters before you could register what had happened.
you could still feel rafeâs kiss on your cheek and his warm face beneath your palms even after he returned to your side. he sat closer to you this time, and you couldnât believe how giddy you felt. especially after everything that had happened between you two since your first meeting at the country club as teenagers. you birthed his children for gods sake, but it felt as if you had just held hands on the playground for all your classmates to see. âi think they should start learning how to swim. what uh, what dâyou think?â
you blinked, watching your girls who were as cool as cucumbers relaxing in their kiddy pool. âiâm afraid iâve turned them into pool loungers and they wouldnât like it.â rafe laughed at that, sipping his beer with a warm smile. the kids had lifted up their sunglasses momentarily at his arrival, pretending to be nonchalant but giggling madly when he attacked them with kisses after setting up their umbrella. âbut we can try. maybe we could teach them next weekend in the big pool. the shallow end is only three feet.â
âyeah, yeah i can do that.â rafe nodded to himself. âi have a few meetings on friday, but iâll clear my schedule for the weekend. that work for you?â
âyouâd be able to get the whole weekend off?â you didnât mean to sound disbelieving, but you also needed to make sure that rafe wasnât making promises to your girlsâ that he couldnât keep. you had been down that road before, and they didnât deserve that.
the eldest cameron sighed through his nose, quite literally shrugging off your concerns. âitâs my company. i should get the weekend off. simple as that.â you immediately raised a manicured brow at that. where was simple as that when you were deciding baby names? nursery colours? having cravings, morning sickness, giving birth, changing diapers, staying up for hours into the early morning when the twins wouldnât stop crying? where was simple as that when he missed watching their first steps, hearing their first words, potty training? times two? but yes, the mountain of toys falling off their playroom shelves was enough consolation. two hours a week at most with their father was apparently enough. all the money in the world and he couldnât tell them apart unless he was able to see the initials strung around their necks. âwhat?â rafe seemed genuinely confused at the way you shut down, and that was the worst of all. he genuinely couldnât fathom how much of your life you had given to your children.
you were still so young when you had gotten pregnant. it happened during your year off after high school graduation, you hadnât even been with rafe for a year, hadnât even been legal enough to drink. still, ward- albeit geriatric- insisted, stating an abortion would be preposterous, and rafe listened to him. it was no question that you loved your children more than anything else in the world. you would never regret having them for a second. except you couldnât believe that rafe had promised you he would be there for you, that he loved you, but still left you alone during the most difficult time of your life. all for ward. rafe was able to grow up. rafe was able to reinvent himself. rafe was able to leave when things got hard, and rafe was able to come back anytime he wanted because you let him.
âmommy? i need a towel. gotta go potty.â rosy tugged at your hand, lifting you out of your stupor. you snapped into action, picking up the fluffy pink towel behind you and drying your daughter off as quickly as you could.
âdo you need me to come with you?â
rosy shook her head, already running into the house as fast as her legs could carry her. âno. i gotta pee!â
rafe chuckled from behind his beer, but you didnât see anything funny about the possibility of your daughter having an accident. âwhereâre you going? she said sheâs fine-â
âshe couldâve had an accident, and iâm not making her walk out here to tell me. i need you to watch val.â you both turned to catch the girl quickly looking away from your conversation, resuming playing with her toys. âi think you can manage that much.â
âhey-â rafeâs larger hand just managed to grab your wrist, but you pulled it away twice as rough, moving back a few steps. the man opposite to you immediately stood up, his once intimidating height appearing smaller and smaller the more you let yourself think about the past few years. confusion bled into his hurt expression, his hushed irritation only adding to your turmoil. âcâmon. whatâs going on-?â
âyou-â you lowered your voice suddenly to keep val from hearing you. cursing yourself for how it wobbled with tears, teetering on the edge of a sob. rafe could only watch helplessly. thatâs all heâs ever been able to do. âyou choose when you come and go. you get to break promis-es.â a wet hiccup left your lips, quickly cut off by your shaking left hand. your âpromise ringâ felt more like a shackle with everyday you spent apart from the man in front of you. rafeâs mouth fell agape, taken aback at how quickly everything had shifted. a watery smile drew itself over your trembling lips, doe eyes staring up at the man in front of you with an eerie sense of glee that withered away the longer they did. âbut time is a thief, and heâs robbing you blind, rafe.â rafe swallowed dryly, twisting his face and shifting on his feet before his fail safe expression made an appearance. every feature of his, especially the ones your daughtersâ shared, became devoid of any kind of emotion. you sniffled pitifully, wanting to curse yourself for being so stupid. for believing that he loved you despite his first reaction being aloof condescension at the discovery of your achievements. for believing that he abandoned you and the children he forced you to bring into this world because he had no other choice. for believing him about anything. âno amount of money in this world will ever be able to change that.â
with that, you dashed into the house after rosy, missing the way rafeâs stoic expression crumbled behind you.

Baby Steps
Summary: You and Rafe are expecting your first child and decide to take a trip to the beach, not expecting to be joined by a guest with chubby cheeks and pull ups.
-some more domesticated rafe as per your request-
The golden hues of the late afternoon sun stretch across the horizon, casting a warm glow over the beach as you and Rafe arrive. You smile at the feeling of the hot sand between your toes.
The waves lazily lap against the shore, creating a serene soundtrack to your special day. It was a beautiful day out, for sure. With the cooler gripped in one hand, with the umbrella on top, and the box containing a special mini cake in his other hand, Rafe is already in full preparation mode.
âHere, let me help with that,â you offer, but Rafe shakes his head, his grin both charming and determined. "You're already carrying something valuable, let me handle the rest, okay?" Rafe reassures you as he places the items down in a nice vacated space.
Far enough from the waves to not get wet, but close enough to still hear the water cracking against the sand at an amplified volume as the perfect white noise for you to do some beach reading. You glance down at your rounded belly, letting your left hand rest over the precious cargo he's referring to.
"I'm only four months, babe. I can still carry things. Just let me help you set up at least." You hold onto the muscle of his upper arm with a soft frown and he can't resist. An idea visibly dawned upon him. "Yeah, you know what." He props open the cooler and pulls out a chilled bottle of water, "I need you to drink this, I don't want you to get too hot."
Your eyes roll and you take the bottle, about to ease yourself down onto the beach chair when Rafe is suddenly behind you, a guiding palm on your lower back to lighten your load as you sit down. "Rafe, you're joking, right? I know how to sit down by myself." You huff and he sees you're starting to get frustrated.
He crouches down to be near you, "Look, baby. I'm sorry, okay? It's all just so new to me and I don't want anything to happen to you or the baby especially not if I can help it." Your arms unfold, and your composure melts under his apologetic gaze.
How could you be mad at him? He was just so cute and excited to be a dad, he wanted to make sure you had the safest, most comfortable pregnancy possible, and he made sure of that at all times. He set up everything while you didn't lift a finger.
You'd even slipped into a light nap as he did so. Waking up under the shade of the beach umbrella and almost certain there was an extra layer of sunscreen on your arms that wasn't there before.
Your towels laid out on the sand in front of you where Rafe knelt, the cake now put away in the cooler as he organized the supplies in the first-aid kit he insisted on bringing along.
"Is this all you're gonna do all day?" You mumble, lifting up your sun hat a bit to see him better and he smiles. "Well, you fell asleep on me, so I was keeping myself busy." Taking that as your cue to stand, leaving your hat behind on the chair and untying the flowy coverup you'd been wearing.
"I'm up now, let's get in the water." He's right behind you as your heels kick up sand with your eager steps to the ocean. Your laughs blend harmoniously in the water. Playful splashes and stolen kisses fill your afternoon for the next hour until you're ready for lunch.
Now Rafe was lounging under the shade, sunglasses covering his sky-blue eyes as he relaxed on the chair. Meanwhile, you enjoyed the warm sun kissing your skin as you sat on the towel, preparing some sandwiches for you both to share.
That brings you to now, the two of you sitting on the sandy towels with satiated appetites and a pleased smile on your faces, enjoying each other's company. "You ready now?" Rafe proposes, referring to the mini cake in the cooler which had either a pink or blue filling. You shake your head.
"Not yet, I need more time." He laughs, "At this rate, you'll find out when the baby comes." He says casually and your brow arches, "Only me? Don't you mean the both of us?" His head shakes, "Uh uh, I'm eating that cake with or without you." He jokes and you swat at him, causing him to spill some water from the bottle he was sipping before putting it away.
His attention was stolen from you and focused on something behind you, before you could even turn your head, Rafe's reflexes are shown as his arms reach out for the tumbling toddler who'd tripped over the uneven terrain and it seems she'd been running at a pace faster than her chunky legs could keep up with.
"Woah! Hey there, pudding," The nickname rolls off Rafe's tongue so naturally you hardly even recognize it, she looks up at him from within his stronghold. "Hi!" She waves and Rafe smiles so big it warms your heart to see.
"Where are your parents?" He follows up but she busies herself with the chain around his neck, blabbering the words 'Dada' in the sweetest voice you'd ever heard.
Rafe's eyes crinkle at the corners with his smile as he looks at you, mouthing the words, "She's so cute" and you mouth back, "I know," "I wonder where her parents are." You say, checking the tag on her swim top for any signs of identification but nothing. The two of you stand, the toddler hanging off Rafe's side, having the time of her life with a cheeky smile.
The two of you paced the beach, up and down. "I know her parents are worried sick," You mutter, checking your phone for any services you can contact for a 'lost baby on the beach please help!'
"If they don't come back, do you think we can keep her?" Rafe inquires and you laugh, "It's probably every parent's nightmare to hear a stranger say that as you're holding their missing child." You say, stopping in your tracks and placing your hands on your back with a sigh, worn out from all the walking.
"Are you okay?" Rafe checks in and you nod, "Maybe we should just go back and wait? Her parents might be walking around too and we keep missing them." Rafe agrees and the three of you walk back to your place on the beach, each of you holding her hand as she had insisted on being put down.
You kept her busy once you returned to your spot, building sand castles and giving her some water and sunscreen to keep her hydrated and protected from the slowly setting sun.
"How old are you?" Rafe laughs at your attempts to have full conversations with who he assumes is a two-year-old, but your guess was three. "Me Ava." She says and your eyes widen. Your initial question remained unanswered but now you had other answers.
"Ava! Hi Ava!" You coo, tickling her tummy until she's a bundle of fits and giggles, completely oblivious to the longing look Rafe has on you. "Tummy!" She says, and you laugh, not sure what she's talking about until she places a hand on your belly. "Big tummy!" She repeats and Rafe can't help but stifle a laugh at her direct observation.
"That's right. There's a baby in here." You explain but her head tilts, lost. "Baby?" You gave the soft waves of her hair a gentle pat, admiring her innocence, "Yep, it's either a girl baby or a boy baby." To your surprise, she begins chanting for a 'boy baby'. "See, Ava gets it." Rafe teases, always taking the opportunity to talk about having the boy he so desperately begs you for as if you had any say in the matter.
"Hungry," She whines and that sends Rafe digging into the cooler for snacks. You let her decide which fruit she wanted but her eye had caught sight of the mini container of cake that had been taken out in order to find the other items.
"Looks like she knows what she wants," Rafe smiles and you think about it, "We can't give her sugar, Rafe. Here, do you want some watermelon?" Her focus now is on the juicy red fruit you presented to her on a plate.
She must be fond of it, slurping up the juices and making a mess of her top. Fortunately, it was later washed off with the salt water when Rafe insisted on playing with her after she'd digested her food.
The sun was slowly beginning to set and the three of you had been lounging around for the last thirty minutes or so, when Ava made a loud shriek, "Mama!" She yelled, hopping off the towel and into her mom's arms.
Ava's mom graces you with a tight hug and a desperate stream of never-ending apologies and gratitude. She congratulated you on the little one you were expecting, confident you'd be amazing parents. "Now, what do you say to the nice people who watched you, Ava?" Her mom prompts, with what you could imagine is a very secure hold on Ava's hand, ensuring she doesn't slip away again.
"Thank you!" She beams, showing off her tiny baby teeth and you feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of her leaving. The last two hours, though chaotic, gave you the reassurance you were looking for with the whole parenting thing.
You wave them goodbye and you take a deep breath, "I'm ready," You don't have to explain anything more and you're both walking back to your spot to cut the cake. Only to see a toddler-sized footprint in it that Ava must've caused as she got up, denting the container and the contents inside smushing against its confines.
Pink.
"WaitâŚ" You say, in disbelief, kneeling down with Rafe doing the same. "Are we-" He says, eyes misting over and you call him out, "Hey, I thought you wanted a boy." He holds you close, "I thought so too, but I'm honestly just glad it's with you." He brings you in for a kiss on your forehead. She's so loved already and she doesn't even know it.

Please Don't be Afraid of Me
Rafe Cameron x Fem!Reader
Arguing with Rafe is your daily meal, but this time he almost did something that could break you for life.
warning: mentions of (Y/N)'s father being abusive, toxic relationship, Rafe almost going a bit aggressive, trauma, no mention of (Y/N)
note: I really need a good angst and why not write one myself? I hope this one hurts you as bad as it hurts me :')
words: 800+
The air between you and Rafe crackled with tension, the argument escalating faster than either of you had intended. You both were standing near the docks, voices rising, cutting through the quiet night. Your frustration had been simmering for days, ever since you caught wind of some of Rafeâs shady behavior againâmoney missing, deals going wrong. You had confronted him, and it spiraled from there.
âYou think you can just keep pulling this crap, Rafe? You think nobody notices what you're doing?â your voice was sharp, each word laced with anger. What you two have was toxic, you knew deep down. But somehow it was very rewarding, all those kisses and makeups you two would do after an argument.
But this one was different.
âDonât act like you know me,â Rafe shot back, his jaw clenched. âYou donât know half the things Iâm dealing with.â
âThen tell me!â you snapped, stepping closer, eyes blazing. âBut no, youâd rather lie, cheat, and then act like the world owes you something!â
Rafe's temper flared, his hand instinctively raising mid-argument, more out of frustration than intent. But the movementâsudden, aggressiveâmade you freeze.
You body reacted before your mind could catch up. You flinched, taking an instinctive step back, your eyes widening in a flicker of fear. In that split second, Rafeâs hand hovered mid-air, his anger dissolving as guilt crashed into him.
He hadnât meant to do it. He hadnât even realized how much his action mirrored something... darker, something that triggered a deep-seated fear in you. But seeing you flinch, seeing you step back from him, it hit him like a wave of cold reality.
âBaby, waitââ Rafe dropped his hand instantly, his voice softer, filled with an unfamiliar urgency. His eyes, usually sharp and calculating, were suddenly wide with regret.
He took a cautious step forward, but you moved back again, your breath shallow, still caught in the reflex of fear.
âIâm not him,â Rafe said, his voice low, almost pleading. âIâm not your father.
Your chest tightened, the comparison too raw, too close to home. You blinked, fighting back the tears that were threatening to surface. Your heart pounded in her ears, but Rafe didnât move again. He stood there, watching you, a rare vulnerability in his expression.
âI wasnât going toââ he stammered, rubbing his hand through his hair. âIâd never... hurt you.â
You didnât say anything, still processing the way your body had reacted, how automatic the fear was, how much he reminded you of the volatile moments with your dadâmoments you spent years trying to forget.
Rafe took another step forward, more cautiously this time, his movements slower, gentler. âYou...â His voice was barely above a whisper. âI didnât meanââ
You couldnât look at him directly, your mind torn between the image of Rafe you knew and the shadows of the past that haunted you. The tension in the air had shifted, no longer angry but filled with a raw, uncomfortable truth.
He reached out again, but this time there was no threat in his gesture. His hand hovered near you, waiting, offering. âPlease donât be afraid of me.â
Youâs heart thudded painfully in your chest, your breathing still uneven. You swallowed, glancing at his hand. You hated yourself for flinching earlier, for letting him see that side of you, but you couldnât deny that he had triggered something deep. Something you werenât ready to confront.
Still, there was something in his voice, in the way he had softened so suddenly, that made you hesitate. Rafe wasnât the man you had grown up fearing, wasnât the man who left you with scars both seen and unseen. He was a mess, yes, but this... this was different.
Slowly, tentatively, you took a small step toward him, meeting his gaze. You saw the guilt there, the sincerity. The storm in your head started to calm, just slightly.
Rafe didnât move again, letting you come to him at your own pace. His hand was still there, waiting. And when you finally closed the gap between them, you let out a shaky breath. You didnât flinch this time as his hand gently touched your arm, his grip soft, reassuring.
âIâm sorry,â he said quietly, his voice breaking through the quiet.
You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to steady yourself. âJust... donât ever do that again,â you murmured, your voice barely audible, but firm.
âI wonât,â Rafe promised, his thumb brushing against your skin lightly. His touch was tender, so unlike the rough edges of his usual self.
For a moment, neither of them moved. They stood there in the quiet, the intensity of the argument fading into something neither of them had words for. Youâs heart was still racing, but not out of fear now. It was something else. Something unfamiliar, something you werenât sure you could handle.
But as Rafe stood close, his touch warm and steady, you realized that you didnât want to step back anymore.

a missed moment
synopsis: Rafe misses the moment Charlie takes his first steps and is harsh on himself as always.
Charlie was the light of Rafeâs life: anything his son did made him so proud. Every little smile, giggle or âdadaâ made Rafe grin so widely someone would think he had been possessed. But he wasnât possessed, instead just so incredibly proud to have his sweet little boy happy and healthy and growing. The love he felt for his son wasnât something Rafe had ever pictured or believed in, not considering his own father, but now that he had felt it, he never wished to let it go. Rafe did his best to be there for all his sonâs milestones, even taking embarrassing photos for when he was older, but it was the one he missed that sent him into a spiral.
Rafe had been spending the day out in Guadeloupe, doing his best to sort out the shit for his dad and spending hours feeling his stress levels rising to a boiling point. All he wanted was to rest in his bed, relax and spend time with his family, and yet he was walking around the island talking about dividends and shares. He wasnât pleased. Rafe walked through the front door, feeling the tension seep from his body, ready to lie down, only to see his son standing upright, little Charlieâs chunky arms clinging to the side of their couch.
Rafeâs eyes bulged as he watched Charlie turn to him, a large smile overtaking his identical features, the boy letting go of the couch as he took small steps towards his father.
Fuck. He was walking. Walking. He hadnât been able to do that yesterday.
His girlfriend sat near Charlie, her soft voice encouraging him to âkeep going to dadaâ. She gave small claps of encouragement as he moved closer, cheering him on.
Rafe felt his heart squeeze tightly in his chest as his son began to reach his small, chubby arms out to his father, and he could only pick him up, encapsulating the small boy within his own larger arms.
"Good job, buddy," was all Rafe managed to utter, his mind racing at the new development. He turned to his girlfriend, asking quietly "When did he start walking?".
"He started trying yesterday, but this morning he tried to follow you out of the house," his girlfriend responded softly. It was clear to see how Rafe was feeling, him not even bothering to hide the sadness spreading across his features. Rafe had been trying to get Charlie to walk for weeks as his little body grew stronger, but to no avail. And now, he had missed it.
"I should've been here..." Rafe mumbled lowly, "not fucking around doing this shit for my dad." Charlie began to play with the collar on his father's shirt, not sensing the sullen mood of his father. His mother shuffled over towards him, softly stroking his hair as he rested his head against his father's chest. Rafe looked down at his girlfriend before averting his eyes - he felt like she could always see right through him.
"Hey - don't do that. You were doing that to make sure we're going to be safe and looked after. You said that yourself, so don't feel bad about this, ok? This is just one milestone in his life, and he is going to have so many more. You were there when he stood for the first time, and when he said his first word," his girlfriend reassured, her arms now wrapping around Rafe's waist. He let himself embrace her, Charlie joining the hug too.
"I-I know, but what if he remembers this shit and he hat-," Rafe began, only to be quickly cut off.
"Rafe, he's one. He's not going to remember any of this. All he knows is that his parent's love him more than anything, ok?"
Rafe remained tense for a moment longer, before a heaving exhale left his chest. With that, he resolved to let his worries go - his girlfriend was right. He knew his mind was confounding his worries, for he only wanted his son to know he loved him. Rafe never wanted Charlie to question his love for him. Caught up in his thoughts, Rafe didn't notice his girlfriend pulling away from him, her voice redirecting his attention suddenly.
"I need to get his dinner ready. Can you stay with him?"
The blonde nodded, receiving a quick peck on the lips in acknowledgement, before his attention turned to Charlie - his expression brightening as he looked down at his son. "We're gonna practice walking again, aren't we buddy?" he proclaimed, walking them over to the rug again. Rafe watched as his girlfriend laughed as she left the room, her disembodied voice telling them to have fun. Whilst she prepared his dinner, all she could hear were the giggles of a small child and the encouraging statements leaving Rafe. He became a whole new person when he was with his son, and the cheer he let out when Charlie managed to walk towards him again only made the young mother smile to herself, her heart swelling with happiness at the small family the pair had created.

It all started at a lunch table, as so many friendships do.Â
The first one to sit was Hana, the nurturing soul of the group who had been a genius even back then. The next to join was Brian, the blonde bombshell whose smile brightened any room he entered. Then came Oliver, the guy who at twelve years old had stood up to the bully you couldnât face yourself and swore from that day on heâd do so for each and every one of you till the end of your days. And lastly, there was you, in many ways the glue of the little pack.Â
To say that the four of you were thick as thieves didnât even begin to cover it, as youâd been there for each other in every up and down in each of your lives since adolescence. Even when your mother passed, especially when your mom passed, thatâs when you truly knew that they werenât just your pals, but your family.Â
âOh wow,â you breathed as you gazed out the window to the destination youâd finally reached, âis this really your dadâs cabin?â you glanced over your shoulder at the man behind the wheel, a proud smirk ever on his lips.
âYep,â Rafe nodded and reached down to put the car in park.Â
Youâd met him at the beginning of this semester and it hadnât taken you very long at all to fall embarrassingly and completely head over heels for the guy.Â
Though he wasnât the first boyfriend to grow to be a part of the tight-knit clique, he hadnât been welcomed with open arms as you remembered Jerome, Brianâs partner, had two years ago. The gentle giant of few words had melted into your dynamic so naturally that none of you remembered any longer a time before him. But it wasnât like that this time, not with Rafe. For some reason, your friends just couldnât warm up to the frat guy you loved so dearly.Â
As you heard the other car roll to a stop behind you, the vehicle where the four remaining resisted, your fingers dipped down into your pocket and fished out your phone to snap a photo of the luxurious lake house and its breathtaking views, though thatâs when you noticed the lack of bars up in the upper corner of the screen.
âOh, damn itâŚâ you squinted down at your phone, âis there seriously no service out here?âÂ
âYeah, sorry I forgot to tell you,â Rafe snatched out the keys, âthis place is pretty off-grid, you have to probably walk half an hour or something to get any signal.â
The dry leaves on the forest floor crunched beneath your shoes as you stepped out of the car and tipped your head back to glance up at how high the surrounding pine trees stretched up towards the cloudy sky.Â
As Rafe hopped up onto the wide porch and fiddled with a bundle of keys to unlock the place, your gaze kept finding him as you hung back a while and helped your friends unload their car.
âCan you all please promise to play nice this weekend?â you quietly asked them.Â
âYeah,â Oliver huffed, yanking out a heavy duffle bag, âIâll play nice if he does, which I sincerely doubt since I havenât yet discovered one kind bone in his body.âÂ
âOh, come on,â you defended your beau, âheâs the one who suggested this trip so that you could all finally discover what a sweet guy he actually is,â before you all ascended the short steps and filtered into the abode.Â
Not soon after you all crossed the threshold, Rafeâs arms seized your waist and drew you back against him, whispering in your ear that he wanted to give you the grand tour of the house.Â
However, when you reached the room that was to belong to the two of you for the rest of the weekend, his ulterior motives for the journey around the cabin became crystal clear.Â
At first, when he wrapped his arms around you from behind as you gazed out the tall windows at the foot of the bed, a giggle bubbled in your belly as you felt his desire poke the small of your back. Though it was already during his palmâs swift voyage under the hem of your shirt and up towards your boobs that he let slip what crucial item heâd neglected to pack.Â
âYou didnât bring any condoms?â you twisted around to glare at the persistence that still sparkled in his eyes.
âOh, come on, donât let that fact spoil our fun,â he pulled you back into his arms, âdonât you want me to dick you down this weekend, huh?â he murmured in your ear.
âWell, I donât wanna get pregnant,â you slowly pushed him back, âso itâll just have to be another weekend.â Â
But then he seized your hand and brought it down to the palpable tent in his jeans, âbabe, come on. Just feel how hard I am. You canât just leave me like this, not when itâs your fault to begin with.â
Your mouth then fell open as a shy scoff rolled off your tongue, âI literally havenât done a thing, how is it my fault?â
âCome on, donât act like a prude,â his grip around your wrist shifted and it slid down to rub your palm against his hardness, âbe a good girl and at the very least get down on your knees.â
âNo,â you chuckled lightly and pushed yourself off of him enough to stumble closer towards the bedroomâs exit, âif youâre so desperate, then take care of it yourself.âÂ
Even though winter was creeping ever nearer, each one of you still dared to go down to the lakeâs small pier and soak up the mild rays of autumn sun that peeked out behind the clouds. Both Hana and Oliver even gathered enough courage to take a dip in the cool water, though werenât successful in any of their attempts at talking the rest of you into the same.Â
Though when your friends in the water began to splash at one another, Oliver teasingly let some splatter upon Brian as he sat on the edge, eyes closed and face turned up towards the sky as he relaxed back against his boyfriend.Â
âOh my god! Donât!â he tensely straightened up, his tone startling Jerome enough that his palm that rested on Brianâs waist tightened, âstop! Youâre giving me flashbacks to summer camp!âÂ
As you heard your grinning friend in the lake apologise, you opened your mouth to note, âthatâs right, I forgot you went to camp when we were kids.â
âYeah, it was honestly revolting,â Brian recoiled slightly at the recollection, âmosquitoes, terrible food, even worse people. Had a big old lake just like this one,â he gestured to the surrounding landscape.Â
âActually,â Rafe then spoke up, his voice booming to your ears as he sat directly behind you, his legs slotted on either side of your frame as his chin rested atop your shoulder, âthis place used to be a summer camp too back when my dad bought it.â
âReally?â Hana glanced up from the water, their childish game now halted.Â
âYeah, I mean,â Rafe cast a glance over his shoulder at the structures on the bank just behind him, âit had been abandoned and completely deserted for a long time, but a lot of the buildings, the main house and the shed and stuff, theyâre the original cabins just renovated.â
âYour dad bought an abandoned camp?â Oliver scrunched up his face, âokay, creepyâŚâ
âOh, hell no, Iâm out,â Brain began to unravel, âbabe, if we wake up in the middle of the night to a ghost child standing at the foot of our bed, itâs your job to take care of it,â he glanced over his shoulder at Jerome, âIâm too delicate and pretty to deal with the paranormal, especially if itâs kids,â to which his boyfriend simply hummed in agreement and soothingly let his palm run down his partnerâs arm.
âOh, this place isnât haunted,â Hana said after sheâd swam up to clutch against the side of the pier, âcalm down.â
âWell, you donât know that, it might be,â the blonde man behind you shrugged, âespecially with what apparently happened here back in the dayâŚâ
âWhat are you talking about?â you looked back at him.Â
âWell, back like forty years ago or something, when this was still a camp, there was this one counsellor who one day just went nuts, like snapped and murdered every single person there,â Rafe told, purposely making his tone more ominous the further into the story he got, âthatâs why the place was shut down and abandoned, why no one ever wanted to return it to its former glory. Itâs one of the most gruesome unsolved cases in this entire corner of the country.â
âWait, unsolved?â Brian clutched his imaginary pearls.Â
âYeah, the guy was never caught, supposably never even left these woodsâŚâ he then leaned in and attempted to truly spook you all, âat night if you listen closely, you can still hear him sharpening his blade, getting ready to hunt his next preyâŚâ
Hana, assuming that he was only joking, let out a dry laugh to cut the tense silence that had fallen over you all, âokay, very funny, ha-ha.âÂ
âYeah,â you gently rubbed your boyfriendâs arm as you tried to shake the tale off of you, âletâs maybe not joke about psychopaths running around a rural area when we actually are in a rural area,â though goosebumps still pricked and tingled every inch of your skin.Â
âWait, how did it go?â your giggle mingled with Oliverâs as you both leaned against the kitchen counter, nearly bumping your foreheads together from how hard you were laughing, âwas itâŚâ and you began to hum a faint melody.Â
âNo because, remember, at the end it went,â your friend cut you off and then made his own attempt, though much more accurate than your own, causing your eyes to promptly light up with recognition before they crinkled together in laughter as he tried to hit the high note at the end.Â
Once the woods surrounding the cabin had succumbed to darkness, the group of you all decided to wrap the day up in a bit of merriment, going through Rafeâs fatherâs liquor stash and turning up the music.Â
During your and Oliverâs secluded moment in the kitchen away from the rest, your laughter caused you to sway even closer to one another, your palm naturally planting itself on his chest as your faces nearly touched.Â
Though just as the pair of you were doubled over, a figure appeared in the doorway.
âOh,â your grin continued as you spotted your boyfriend, âhey baby,â though your laughter finally began to fade.Â
Staring daggers at the man beside you, Rafe then uttered coldly, âhey,â before his feet carried him straight towards you, seized your waist and twisted you away from your friend and towards himself to capture your lips.Â
âOkay, right,â Oliver exhaled as Rafe kept marking his territory, kissing you way more passionately than he needed to, âIâll just see you guys back in the living room thenâŚâ
You tried to tilt away enough to utter your friend a reply, though your boyfriend didnât allow you, only let you go once Oliver was long gone and Rafe returned to his original plan of cracking open the fridge to get a cold beer for himself.Â
Walking back out into the living room while your boyfriend scavenged for a bottle opener, you plopped yourself back down on the couch, on the opposite side to where Brian and Jerome were snuggled up. Next to where the lit fireplace crackled sat Oliver in a chair and not far from his feet on the fuzzy carpet rested Hana, legs crisscrossed as she held up her wine glass to stare through it.Â
When Rafe rejoined you all, a freshly glowing cigarette trapped between his lips as he sauntered out of the kitchen, he situated himself right beside you, making space for himself where there hadnât really been previously. In his hand, he didnât just balance his own drink, but also a stout glass filled with an amber liquid, one he swiftly handed off to you even though you hadnât asked for it, yet that had still been the routine of the evening, and after the first one was sloshing on your belly, the others became harder to deny and not accidentally sip absentmindedly, especially when heâd playfully help you along by tilting the glass the remaining distance up towards your lips.Â
âSweetie,â Hana soon leaned closer to utter for your ears only, âdonât you want a glass of water instead?âÂ
Though your boyfriend beside you unfortunately overheard and grasped his cigarette between two of his longer fingers, a puff of smoke accompanying his words as he answered before you got the chance to, âsheâs fine.â
From across the couch, as Hana scooted back to her spot on the carpet, having not caught the quiet interaction, Brian then suggested, âwhy donât we play a game or something?âÂ
âWhat, like truth or dare?â Hana leaned back against an unoccupied armchair.Â
âNo, this isnât a slumber party. Isnât there like board games here?â
Brianâs glance then drifted to Rafe as he smothered his cigarette in the nearby ashtray and, without warning, pulled you into his lap and caught Oliverâs eye from across the room as he shamelessly let his hands wander across your frame. Â
âUh, yeah. There should be some in the cabinet over there,â Rafe vaguely gestured before his lips began to nip at the side of your neck, making your eyes flutter and only half watched along as Brian then got up to skim through the aforementioned cupboard.Â
âOkay,â he glanced through the options, âthere are cards, so we could play poker or something,â
âNo way,â Oliver swiftly shook his head and shot a glance at Jeromeâs bulky form, comfortably slumped on the couch, âIâm not repeating that fiasco again.âÂ
âAw,â Brian glanced back at his friend, âbut it was so cute seeing my boyfriend fucking demolish you,â and Jerome, the quiet man he was, just let out a grunt in agreement.
âNo, pick something else,â Oliver waved a hand.Â
âWell, weâve got monopoly, scrabble, cards against humanityâ, uh! Thereâs clue!â he excitedly picked up the box and spun around, âoh, work! Letâs play that!âÂ
With his kisses still dancing along your skin, they then suddenly ceased as Rafe announced, âyou guys go ahead, I think Y/n is ready for bed.âÂ
Shooting a concerned glance at how your intoxicated form wobbled slightly as your boyfriend helped you up on your feet, Hana uttered, âoh, are you sure?âÂ
âShe is,â Rafeâs touch clung to you, âarenât you babe?âÂ
âOh, uhmâŚâ you hadnât really noticed it before, but now that he mentioned it, as if he himself planted the thought in your hazy mind, all of the alcohol had in fact made you pretty sleepy, âyeah, I guess so.âÂ
âAlright, well then,â Hanaâs voice stayed slightly hesitant, âsleep tight.â
âI love you guys,â you blew the group kisses as Rafe helped you over towards the stairs.Â
His kisses made you even more dizzy than you already were, so when you stumbled over the threshold into your shared room, you flopped down onto the mattress, though you werenât quite sure if youâd just fallen or if Rafe had manhandled your intoxicated and pliant frame, giving you a push before his form was atop of yours.Â
Though now that you were horizontal and with the weight of a frat boy squishing you further down into the bed, that was when you truly noticed just how much youâd had to drink that evening.Â
The room was spinning as Rafe made out with you, his palms raking across your body like a wild storm, squeezing every soft curve he could get his hands on. As one hand disappeared up your skirt, his kisses wandered down and over your throat to the bit of your chest that was exposed in the neckline of your top. Wasting no time at all, he then yanked down the hem, catching one of the cups of your bra as well as he unwrapped your tit like a present.Â
As his face was buried in your boobs, surely giving you hickeys from the way that he sucked at your pebbly nipple and the surrounding sensitive skin, a breathless attempt at halting his affections left your lungs, âbabyââÂ
Though he didnât take the whimper as youâd intended it and simply continued, âshit, youâre so fucking hot,â he yanked down the other sliver of mesh fabric covering your other boob, âgod, these tits are just insane.âÂ
Weakly, you ran your fingers through his buzzed hair and gasped as you felt his hardness grind into your covered core, âRafe, IââÂ
âYeah?â his lips began to flutter back up to your own as he let himself rock against you with more intent, âyou want this big dick, huh?âÂ
âNo, we canât, we donât have aââ
âOh come on, baby,â he shifted, slipping a hand down under the waistband of your skirt and into your underwear, not hesitating to sweep his fingers through your wetness and bully your little button, âI know you want toâŚâÂ
âStop, that feels too good,â you tried, but couldnât yank his strong hand away, âyou canâtâ, I have to get up and brush my teeth.âÂ
âYou know, all my exes let me tap it raw,â he purred in your ear and attempted to guilt you, âwhy wonât you? Donât you trust me?â his touch then suddenly disappeared, but only to tug down the zipper on the side of your short skirt.
âOf course I do, I justââ
âThen why wonât you let me make you feel good, huh?â he yanked both your skirt and panties down your legs, so fast it nearly gave you whiplash. Crawling off of your jelly-like form, he stood tall and loomed at the foot of the bed. Wasting no time, he yanked your core closer to the edge before he desperately freed his fat cock. The taps he then offered your glistening cunt, letting you reel in the weight of his length, âdoesnât that feel nice, baby?â he smirked at the way your mouth fell open, âbecause it sure seems like your little pussy thinks so, just look,â you followed his command and glanced down to spot how his intimidating girth nudged at your weepy petals.Â
Even after months of dating, you still hadnât gotten used to the daunting size of him.Â
âOh, fuckâŚâ your brows knitted together.Â
âJust listen to that,â he flicked the bulbous tip through your slick folds with more vigour, causing the melody of your want to echo even louder throughout the bedroom, âyouâre so fucking wet. You want it so badâŚâ
You then felt yourself fade away into the intoxicating sensation, letting him continue to fuck your fold and make your pussy drool even further till your eyes fluttered shut.Â
However, it didnât take very long at all, through all of the hazy motions, before the very tip of him caught your entrance and slipped inside.Â
âRafe!â you gasped, eyes snapping back open as your spine lurched off the mattress just an inch.Â
âFuck,â he let out a loud groan, âsorry, babe. Youâre just too soaked, it slipped in,â though didnât move at all to pull it back out, since it had secretly been completely on purpose, âchrist, youâre so tightâŚâ
As he slipped his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side, you pleaded once more, âRafeâŚâ quietly begging for him to take it out through the conflicting haze as the familiar sensation of him stuffing you full always shut your brain completely off.
âThis doesnât count,â he claimed as he began to move, pumping just the bulbous head of himself in and out of your little hole, ânot really. I can fuck you with just the tip, right?â a few of his fingers then lowered to strum your clit and summon a loud moan from deep within your soul, âyeah, thatâs what I thoughtâŚâ
As he removed his fingers from your clit, he then stuffed them in your mouth, muffling your soft whimpers and letting you suck them clean of your juices. As the taste of yourself coated your tongue, your own hands came up to clutch his, holding it near as you soon let your pecks wander across his palm and even down to plant a soft kiss to the gold ring that never left his finger.
âOhâ,â a gasp then left your lungs as he suddenly pushed in a bit more of his length, âRafe, thatâs too deep,â selfishly letting himself feel more of your warmth.Â
âNo, thatâs not too deep,â he began to fuck you properly, making you lose your breath, âyou wanna know what is too deep?â a purposefully harsh thrust then buried itself so far inside of you that a tingle of pain joined the pleasure, âthatâs too deep,â he then retracted just a tad, though still filled you up completely with each long stroke, âthis is just right.âÂ
âWe canâtâ,â you foggily tried to shake your head.Â
âYes, we can. Just look how good youâre taking me, baby,â the palm youâd been clutching then escaped your grasp and scooped behind your head to tilt your neck and lock it there, directing your glance down between your bodies and forcing you to spot the faint bulge that appeared at each one of his mind-melting thrusts, âyou donât wanna stopâŚâ
Feeling that all too familiar high begin to fuzz up your periphery, you trembled, âo-oh, fuckâŚâÂ
âYou feel so fucking goodâŚâ he grunted as your pussy began to clench around his fat girth, âjust let me use you for a bit, yeah?âÂ
âIâ, Iâ,â gasps of air expanded your lungs as his pace then thrust you over the edge, âholy shitâŚâ and your cunt helplessly clambered around him.Â
In your orgasmic haze, Rafe then abruptly flipped you around for you to lay on your stomach, and you barely managed to process it before you felt the weight of him settle atop of you, smooshing you down into the mattress as he slid back in.Â
âAh!â you yelped at the way he didnât hold back, âRafe, itâs too much,â not even bothering to grant you a chance to recover, but simply fucked through your soreness, âI canâtââ
âOh, shut up, you can take it,â he growled in your ear, his feet hooking your ankles and spreading your shaky legs further for him, âtake it like the good little slut you are.â
It was strange how heâd taught your body to love the pain he inflicted. Even if the source was just his god-given gift of a girth, or curse, all depending on your point of view, and not the roughness he occasionally let slip out of the dark depths he tried to hide his jagged sides in for you and you alone. Â
âFuck,â you soon heard him groan as his heavy sack slapped against your cunt at each one of his furious rocks, âIâm gonna cum!âÂ
âPull outâ,â you managed to mumble into the sheets.
âWhat?â he kept on pounding your poor pussy.Â
âNot inside,â you tilted your head a bit to beg, âplease!â
âOh my god, fine,â he then begrudgingly pulled out and with one hand flipped you back onto your stomach as the other wrapped around his cock and he began to fuck his fist. Pushing himself up onto his knees, he crawled further up your body till his thighs caged you in, denting the mattress on either side of your face. He didnât even wait for your lips to part before he shoved his dick down your throat, making you gag as he groaned loudly above you, âfuckâŚâ and fed you his load. Â
When he soon flopped down on the bed beside you, the both of you catching your breaths, you instinctively gulped down what heâd given you before you curled your frame into his side.Â
As he wrapped an arm beneath your head, his glance then flickered down to you as he caught your chin with his thumb and forefinger, tilting you up to him before he asked, âdid you swallow it?â digging his digit slightly into your skin and making you open your mouth for him, letting him discover the answer him himself, âfuck⌠thatâs my girlâŚâ he groaned before dipping down to kiss you.Â
The peck however didnât carry on for long as his warmth then suddenly disappeared.Â
âWhere are you going?â you watched as he got up, reaching out your arms to him in a silent plea for cuddles.Â
âIâm thirsty,â he zipped his pants back up, though didnât bother with his shirt, âyou just try and fall asleep, Iâll be right back.âÂ
Flashing him a drowsy smile, âokay,â you then tug the duvet over your form and let your gaze shadow him as he made his way out of the room.Â
You thought you hadnât managed to fall asleep, but evidently, you had as when the door to the room suddenly burst open, you were jolted awake, Rafe as well stirring as he was now settled behind you with an arm draped over your frame.Â
As three of your friends rushed to slam the door behind them, Rafe propped himself up and mumbled, âhey, what the fuckââ
But Hana then cut him off, a downright terrified look plastered not only all over her own face, but the rest as well.
âOliverâs dead,â she uttered through the tears that thickened up her voice.Â
Still groggy, you slowly sat up and murmured, âwhat?â
Snapping her bloodshot eyes to lock with yours, she bellowed, âOliver is fucking dead!âÂ
As your gaze flickered over the group in search of any sign that what she claimed wasnât true, you heard Rafe behind you exhale, âokay, this isnât funny.â
âOh shut up, you dick!â Brian shot back, doubled over in the corner, hyperventilating as Jerome kneeled before him, trying to calm him down.Â
âHey, hey,â you gently raised up a hand, âdonât talk to him like that. What the hell do you mean Oliver is dead?â
âI mean that heâs dead as in dead, dead,â Hana explained, her words causing the world to suddenly crumble all around you, âJerome went outside to get something from the car and found him on the porch, not moving and with his head stuck under the water in the hot tub.âÂ
With tears now stinging the corners of your eyes, you struggled to suck in a breath of air, âwhat?â
âItâs that fucking ghost story you told us,â Brian panicked in the corner, âitâs real, isnât it?âÂ
âOkay,â Rafe uttered as the both of you leapt out of bed and scrambled to get some clothes on, âletâs all just calm down.â
âWe gotta call the police,â Hana said, to which Jerome swiftly pulled out his phone, only to then curse quietly as he discovered what Brian too noticed when he glanced over his shoulder.Â
âFuck, we canât, thereâs no signal!â
Hana then glanced around at everyone, âwell then one of us has gotta drive and find some, right?âÂ
âHell no,â Brian shuttered, âif thereâs some psycho out in these woods, then Iâm not staying behind to get murdered. Weâre all going.â
So thatâs how, after youâd all scurried downstairs and filtered out through the sliding door to the porch, that you saw the truth with your own eyes.Â
Even though his head was obscured beneath water, the unmoving corpse of your dear friend still caught your eyes and stopped you in your tracks.
âOh my godâŚâ you sobbed, your blood running cold.Â
But before you could let your feet carry you closer to the scene of the crime, Rafe seized your arm and uttered, âbaby, come on,â before pulling you along the last short distance towards the cars, âIâm sorry, but we gotta go.â
Though when you did reach the vehicles and attempted to start them, neither one of them would as theyâd seemingly been tampered with, forcing the panicked lot of you all to run back inside.Â
âShitâŚâ Brian clutched onto the back of the couch in the living room for support, âwhat do we do now?â
âWe canât go on foot, not in the dark through this forest,â Rafe spoke, âso we gotta stay here till morning.â
Glancing around the space, Hana uttered, âthen we gotta make this place safe. Lock all the doors and windows, find somewhere to hide.âÂ
âYeah, good idea,â your boyfriend nodded before suggesting, âletâs split up, itâll be faster that way. Y/n with me, weâll take that side of the house, and the rest of you stay over here.âÂ
And before anyone could protest, heâd yanked you down a dark hallway.
You nearly stumbled twice as Rafe dragged your shaking visage through the lake house, only stopping once youâd reached a large closet.Â
âIn here, baby,â he shoved you inside, though began to shut the door before he nuzzled himself in as well.Â
âNo, what are you doing?â tears streaming down your face, you attempted to stop him.Â
Though he only halted his efforts a second, grasping your face as he uttered, âplease, just stay here.â
âNo, itâs too dangerous,â you clutched onto his dark t-shirt, âyou canâtââ
âBabe, I canât let anything happen to you. I canât lose you,â he then collided his lips with your own, a sob escaping your lungs as he briefly kissed you, âplease, just stay right here, hide, for me.âÂ
Slowly, you loosened your trembling grip on his shirt and cried, âI love you.âÂ
âIâll be right back!â he promised before shutting the closet door and bathing you in darkness.Â
You had no idea how much time passed, if it was only a few seconds or hours that you stayed in the dusty and dim abyss of that closet, but then when a loud crash and a shrill scream suddenly found your ears, your shaky hand pushed the door back open.
Youâd never in your life been as terrified as you were when you found yourself tip-toeing down that long, dark hallway. Though, as you sneaked past the ajar door to the study, your entire body suddenly froze up at the massacre that met you within.Â
Unmoving and slumped over the threshold, there lied Jerome, his face beaten to a pulp, rendering it nearly unrecognisable as blood slowly trickled into the tight curls on the top of his head.Â
Past where Hana was lying in the middle of the room, battered and coughing, in the corner you saw as a tall figure, masked by a dark motorcycle helmet, crouched over the still form of Brian and landed the last few blows to claim his life.Â
âPlease,â Hanaâs words were gurgled by blood as the killer slowly straightened back up. Twisting ever so slightly, the assailant plucked out one of the clubs from the gold bag that leaned against one of the tall bookcases, âjust let me go,â your last living friend begged as you watched the murderer wrap his long fingers around the handle and take the few steps to where Hana lied, âjust let meââÂ
As he took a wide swing and hit your friend right in her temple, the loud crack that echoed throughout the cabin made you shutter in terror and let out an uncontrollable scream, causing the killerâs head to snap up to spot you in the dark hallway.Â
For a second you both just stood there, frozen and staring at one another, like two deer in headlights. But then, as he began to move, taking his time as he stepped over the bodies littering his path, you stumbled back and collided with the wall directly behind you.Â
You tried to run, but even though you managed to slip out the wide glass doors and escape a good distance into the dark forest surrounding the house, the masked man still caught up to you and flung you against a tree. As he had you cornered, you felt him drag the cold tip of the golf club up your right leg and over your shuttering skin, drawing a crimson line of your belovedâs blood across your goosebump-ridden flesh.Â
âP-please donât kill me, pleaseâ,â you cried, but just then, the moonlight that streamed through the dense treetops caught in a glint of gold that adorned the hand that clutched the club, a recognizable ring that caused your heart to drop.Â
As your eyes then flickered up to the dark helmet, that too seemed oddly familiar now that you truly looked at it.Â
In some sick and twisted way, you hoped that the killer had just stolen the jewellery from your boyfriend as a trophy of the nightâs conquest and not the horrifying alternative.Â
But when you then tried to slip away and the man pushed you back, your hands defensively shot up, though only managed to knock the helmet off his head and let it tumble to the dark forest floor below, unveiling the earth-shattering truth.Â
âOh my godâŚâ you gasped, eyes wide as you now stood face to face with your boyfriend.Â
âShh,â he took a step closer to you, caging you in even further, âcalm down, baby. Donât do anything stupid now.âÂ
âTheyâ⌠they were rightâŚâ the warnings your now deceased friends had given you since the moment you got involved with the frat boy buzzed in your mind, though when theyâd light-heartedly called him a psycho, you never in your wildest dreams thought that they would have been correct in their choice of words, âI canât believe they were rightâŚâ
A low sigh then escaped Rafeâs lungs.Â
âYou really should have just stayed hidden like I told you to⌠I didnât want you to find out this way⌠it would have been so much simpler if youâd just bought into the story I made upâŚâÂ
âYou killed my friendsâŚâ your chest ached with every painful gasp of air, âhowâ⌠how could you?âÂ
âOh, honeyâŚâ his head tilted slightly as the corners of his lips twitched, âdo you really think this is my first time?âÂ
Staring back at him in horror, you sputtered, âw-why?â
âBecause of you,â he uttered as if it was obvious, âit was all for you,â his feet shifted him even closer to you, âthey were a bad influence, so this was the only way.â
âThey were my family!âÂ
âThey were like a poison, all of them, trying to control you, trying to take you away from me,â he inched in even closer, making you wish the harsh bark that scratched up your spine would simply open up like a portal and let you escape, âI know Hana was trying to get you to break up with me⌠Oliver always followed you around like a lost puppy, just hoping youâd one day spread your legs for him⌠and Jerome and Brian? They were just plain annoying,â his hot breath fanned across your skin as he petted the edges of your features with a knuckle of the hand clutching the golf club, âI did it all for you, for us, because I love you⌠fuck, you have no idea how much I fucking love you, babyâŚâ he uttered before bringing the bud of the improvised weapon down upon the side of your head and knocking you clean out.Â
When you came to, the flicking light from a lit fireplace was the only source of light in the dim room you found yourself in. Arms folded up behind your head, a long rope was tangled around them and stretched up to a beam in the ceiling above. Your legs too were tied, keeping your naked frame upright and locked in place in the middle of the room.Â
âFucking finally,â a low voice echoed from the chair across the chamber, causing you to wince as the tone pierced your soul and worsened your splitting headache, âyou really took your sweet time waking up.âÂ
Blinking back at your boyfriend as he leaned back in the seat, pants undone and his hard length tight in his fist, a murmur escaped your lips, ââŚyou knocked me outâŚâ
âYeah, Iâm sorry about that,â he got up and walked towards your suspended form, âbut you didnât give me any other choice.âÂ
As he slowly neared you, your glossy eyes flickered up to meet his.
âRafe, please,â you heard your voice break as you tried to keep your tone soft, âyou donât have to do this. Just untie me, I promise I wonât be mad at you.â
âOh yeah?â a small scoff slipped through his smirk.Â
âYes. Iâll do whatever you want, just please let me go,â you begged, âplease donât hurt me.âÂ
âShh, shh,â his palm rose up to stroke your hair before letting it rush down and over the curves of your exposed body, âbut youâve been such a bad girl. I think you deserve a lesson that hurts a little bit,â his palm then slapped your pussy, still soaked and sore from earlier, rendering you to let out a shrill yelp, âitâs okay, you can cryâŚâ he briefly leaned in to kiss your cheek before he shifted, though still staying so close that his nose ghosted along your skin as he made his way around to stand directly behind you, âyou look so pretty when you doâŚâ
You then squirmed as he reached down to grasp his cock and nudge at your sensitive entrance, âRafe, pleaseâ, ah!â a cry then left your form as he ruthlessly rammed his way inside, plugging you up so completely that his balls nuzzled against your slick skin.Â
âFuck!â his moan tickled the shell of your ear as he tangled his arms around your torso, âyouâre so perfectâŚâ he began to move, finding a selfish pace to wreck you with, âso perfect and all mineâŚâÂ
As his thrusts caused your tits to jiggle, one of his wide hands soared up to grasp one while the other one snaked up to wrap around your throat. He then squeezed it fiercely enough that all your noises eventually faded away and he kept you completely quiet for a good moment before his hold slackened and he once again granted you the privilege of gasping for air.Â
âThis is all you need, just me, only me,â he grunted, âjust like this, using your pretty little hole for exactly what it was made for⌠you were made for me and nobody else⌠no oneâŚâ
His grip then drifted down to dent your hips before he lifted them, raising your bound frame till your tip toes were barely grazing the cold floor. Your back arched slightly as he repeatedly brought your hips back to him, his balls sloppily slapping against your swollen clit each time he manoeuvred your body and treated you like a toy.Â
When he then hooked an arm around your front to keep moving your body greedily against him, it granted the other one the grace to roam your frame freely.Â
As his fingers found one of your nipples in a harsh pinch, he let out a groan at the way you began to clamper down around his fat girth, âare you gonna cum, baby? Huh?â his palm then slapped your tit, âbecause it sure fucking feels like youâre close,â before he suddenly retracted completely, slipping out of your drooling cunt and causing a shy whimper to slip from your lips, one he swiftly cut off when he smacked your cheek, âtoo bad. Youâre not allowed to.âÂ
As you shakily struggled to stay on your unsteady feet, you panted, âRafe, my legs, I canâtââ
âOh yeah?â he mockingly pouted at you as he sauntered around to your front, âdo they hurt? Are you tired?â and as you offered him a nod, his fingers grasped your chin, âwell,â his thumb slowly stretched up to trace your bottom lip, âif you promise that youâll be a good girl for me, then Iâll give you a little break.â
âYes, I will,â a tear rolled down your still stinging cheek.Â
âYou will what?â his palm briefly slapped the side of your face once again before returning to the same hold.Â
âIâll be your good girl, Iâll do whatever you want,â you begged and as he then sank down to his knees, grabbed a pocketknife resting on a nearby table and held up his end of the bargain, slicing through the ropes at your legs and cutting them loose. A new wave of sobs tumbled out of your form, âthank you! Oh, thank you so much!â
Tossing the blade far away before he rose back up, âyouâre fucking welcome, baby,â he then caught you off guard as he suddenly plucked your lower half up into his arms.Â
âW-wait, I thought youâd give me a break!â your legs trembled in his grasp as he slide you back onto his fat cock.Â
âYeah, your legs were tired, so Iâm being nice and giving them a break,â the wet claps of your skin roughly colliding once again filled the dark room, âyour pussy doesnât deserve one yet⌠unless of course, this is you begging me to fuck your assâŚâ a wicked wish that heâd been begging you for ever since the very first time he banged you.Â
âNo! No, not there, please, Iâve neverââ
âOh, I know you havenât,â he smirked, âthatâs what makes it so much more funâŚâ
âPlease, Rafe,â you blinked back at him, âdonât.â
âYou told me I could do whatever I wantâŚâ he angled his bucks right against that spot that caused your teeth to dig into your lower lip, âyou promised to be a good girl for me and just take whatever I give youâŚâÂ
âI will,â your eyes couldnât help but flutter, âjust please not that.â
He then let a dollop of his spit splatter directly against your face, âalright, but only because I love you,â before he dipped down to plant a feverish kiss against your lips, âtell me that you love me too.â
âI love you,â you murmured against his mouth.Â
âHuh?â one of his hands let go of you and he shifted to balance you with only one, letting the other instead drift down between your forms to bully your puffy pearl, âwhat was that?â
âI loâ, a-ah!â you suddenly whined as he pressed one of his fingers inside your pussy, not caring in the slightest that you were already completely filled up as he forced his digit in alongside his fat cock.Â
âCome on, baby,â he stared down at you, âtell me you love me,â and kept up his ruthless pace as he hooked the finger inside of you, âtell your soulmate just how much you love and adore him, how you want nothing more than to worship him at his feet.âÂ
âIâ, Iâ, Rafe,â you gasped, feeling as if he was splitting you in half, âitâs too muchââ
âNo, itâs not too much, itâs exactly right, you can take it, baby.âÂ
âI canâtââ
âI donât fucking care,â he continued to fuck you without remorse, slamming his intimidating length so deep inside of you that you nearly couldnât breathe, âI wanna feel you cum, just like this.â
âRafeââ
âDo it or Iâll get a lot meaner,â he warned you before he finally got what he wanted. Your squirt drizzled down on the floor as the intensity caused a scream to erupt from your form, âthere you go, fuck,â he groaned as he watched your pussy gush around his girth, âthatâs it,â before the way your cunt clambered down around him caused him to let go as well, âshit,â and pump you full of his cum.Â
Rafe pressed a peck to your forehead before he pulled out of your warmth and you breathlessly glanced down to watch as his hot load began to leak out of your quivering hole.Â
âAlright, baby,â he exhaled and then uttered words that caused a shiver to trickle down your spine, âforeplayâs over. I think youâre ready for your punishment now.â
