Place: Manichi Ramen Location: Ala Moana, Shirokiya

- Spending a lunch date with my boyfriend for our 31 monthsary. Nothing special, just simple. I ordered the Manichi Special with egg. I didnt get the chance to read what was in it, but i would say that it has a fatty soup taste because of the meat. Boyfriend had the Shoyu Pork belly with egg. I honestly prefer his ramen, his was more pricey but the soup and everything in it is definitely worth it.

First Ono combo of the year! Mine, on the left. I tried something different. I usually get spicy ahi, but i decided to get a combo today, Miso ahi (left) with my Spicy ahi

Tried Ono seafood's Shoyu ahi, half pound, it was the best.

Finally i got to try Kam Bowl's famous Ox Tail soup! this is a reg. and i got to say it was good. Different than how my mom would make it with Chinese cabbage and without the cilantro and such

but it was good, i really really enjoyed the soup!

Location: Lanikai Pillbox Trail on Oahu, Hawaii

- Came on this trail with a visiting long time friend from Utah (You can see him in one of my panoramas). I have known him since elementary school and even if it has been years and we dont talk everyday, it feels like we do. This was mine, my significant one, and my friend’s first time up this trail. A mutual friend of theirs was honored to guide us where to go. i would say it’s a good experience because we were able to make it to the sunrise, which is the very first picture. I kid you not, there was no filters used in any of these pics.

- It rained for a few minutes at the beginning at the hike and we got worried because we are going up a mountain and it was going to be muddy. Luckily there were roped to hang on to. On our first stop, Although the rain came, it lightened and gave a mist and guess what? A beautiful rainbow was formed and i was happy to be able to capture that. I was told there was a double rainbow, but i wasnt able to see it. after the rainbow

- This trail takes about an hour, if you dont make any stops and it depends how fast you walk up. Although it may sound short, it was challenging. There are two Pillboxes (on what you would also call Bunkers, used as a refuge during war) On my smartwatch, It’s equivalent to 37 floor to the first pillbox and 39 floors to the second one. Throughout the pictures and towards the end, me, my significant one, and my friend continued to the second pillbox.  - As planned, i wanted to make it to the top so i can do a highkick in my gi. My goal is that on every new hike/trail i go to, i will do this and i was so glad i did it, even though there were people. 

I would recommend this hike to those who likes to climb on mountains

January 1st, 2018 - Oahu's first sunrise of year 2018. - Sunrise was exactly at 7:09 am. A group of friends and I, along with my significant other and brothers, went to Sandy Beach Park to watch the first sunrise of 2018. As the sun rose up over the horizon, I had a feeling as if I was reborn, refreshed, and happy. I pray 2018 will be a good year. Many goals I want to achieve. Thank you for another year.
