Louis Tomlinson’s Top 10 Songs Ranked

The UK heartthrob has just announced a massive tour of Australia and to celebrate the Vodafone presale starting today, we’ve ranked Louis’ biggest and best songs.

Earlier this week, one-man pop powerhouse Louis Tomlinson announced his imminent return to stages Down Under and if you’re a Vodafone customer (and believe us, you should be), you’ll be able to get your hands on the very first tickets this morning (July 21). The run comes in support of Tomlinson’s stellar second album, Faith In The Future, and although this tour will be his biggest on local soil, we’re expecting tickets to fly right out the gates.

10. Just Hold On (with Steve Aoki) [2016]

We’ll happily admit that Tomlinson’s first solo outing followed a fairly safe formula – squeaky clean, harmonic vocals (supplemented with plenty of “woah-ohs”) flowing over the unique kind of pseudo-clubby bubblegum pop beat Steve Aoki is a certified master at – but for what it is, Just Hold On is exactly what it should be. Back in ye olden times (2016), it proved to us that Tomlinson had the chops to carry a pop banger on his own, lapping up every lumen of the spotlight. And listeners seemed to agree: the song went Platinum in five territories (including Australia), came just one spot shy of topping the UK charts, and still pops up in Tomlinson’s live sets from time to time.

9. Back To You (featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals) [2017]

Tomlinson’s second track as the headline act landed some 16 months after Just Hold On, making for one of the most brutal waits we’ve endured between a debut single and its follow-up. But it’s without a doubt that Back To You was worth the wait, shining with an equally cool and catchy beat, and an impassioned vocal performance (carried by emotive lyrics tailored for maximum swoonability) that made it undeniably clear: Tomlinson was always the biggest heartthrob in One Direction, and goddammit, he’s still their biggest heartthrob in his solo era.

Bebe Rexha’s vocals add so much colour to the tune, too, as her smoky swagger gels with the sweetness in Tomlinson’s own delivery. Us here Down Under were especially stoked on Back To You – racking up three Platinum certificates and a peak at #11 on the ARIA Charts, it remains Tomlinson’s biggest single as a solo artist.

8. Two Of Us (2019)

Though it came out a solid 15 months after lead single Miss You, it was Two Of Us that really kickstarted the cycle for Tomlinson’s debut solo album, Walls (which arrived in January of 2020). It was a bold choice for that role, too, as a deeply emotive ballad steered by haunting grand piano chords and widescreen orchestration. But it was a power move: the song itself is striking and cuts deep with authentic pangs of grief, Tomlinson’s vocals swelling from lowkey and melancholic to intensely poignant as the music builds. Thematically, too, it’s one of his most important efforts – a touching ode to his late mum.

7. Walls (2020)

The title track from Walls is another ballad, but this one stands out a little more with its ear-pricking instrumentation, channelling the greats of ‘90s Britpop with its coolly strummed acoustic guitars, droning pianos and atmospheric string- and synth-work. Released as the album’s fifth and final single, it offered a fantastic summary of everything we’d heard thus far, from the searing pain he poured out in Two Of Us to the energised pop-rock of Kill My Mind.

Then there’s the lyrics – some of Tomlinson’s most gripping and evocative – with the chorus in particular standing out for its motivational punch. He sings: “These high walls, they came up short / Now I stand taller than them all / These high walls never broke my soul / And I, I watched them all come fallin' down / I watched them all come fallin' down for you.”

6. Bigger Than Me (2022)

Tomlinson’s newest era began last September, when he dropped the lead single from Faith In The Future: a rousing slow-burner called Bigger Than Me. It’s the perfect song to bridge the gap between his first and second albums, starting off as a lowkey acoustic number and growing into a big, bold pop anthem you could scream along to at the top of your lungs. It swells into a peak around three minutes in, where Tomlinson is virtually howling to contest with the operatic strings, spirited drums and scene-stealing synths. When we first heard Bigger Than Me, it felt like a proper reintroduction to Louis Tomlinson – and goddamn, were we keen to learn more about this new version of him.

5. Just Like You (2017)

After launching his solo career with two collaborative tracks, Just Like You marked the very first time we heard Tomlinson without a guest singer or heavyweight producer. Released standalone in October of 2017 – about a month and a half before Miss You kicked off the Walls era – this airy pop gem serves as somewhat of a theme song, very on-the-nose as Tomlinson literally opens it with a verse about how he’s “the guy from the one band” with the “whole world in [his] right hand”, prone to racking up “headlines that [he] can't stand” with his lavish escapades (“Night out and it's ten grand”)... Before explaining that as his fans, we “only get half of the story” when we see Tomlinson revel in all “the cash and the cars and the glory”.

Is it self-indulgent? Yeah, absolutely. But does it absolutely slap nonetheless? Yeah, absolutely.

4. Miss You (2017)

It makes sense that the music video for Miss You takes place at a party: accented by tasteful juts of an electric guitar and a thumping drum beat, the song feels triumphant and energising – the kind of song you’d blast in your room to hype yourself up while you get ready for an actual party. Following on from Just Like You in December of 2017, this was also the first time we heard Tomlinson shine on a track driven primarily by electric guitars, something we’d hear a lot more of on Faith In The Future, but felt like a special treat on Walls.

3. Kill My Mind (2019)

Remember how we noted that Walls (the song) saw Tomlinson channel an ambiguous ‘90s Britpop flavour? We can be a little more straight-up with Kill My Mind – this song is Oasis as fuck. But we say that as nothing but a compliment: charging forward with brisk strumming and animated drums, the artist’s vocals soar overhead, his thick Yorkshire accent gripping as he sings passionately: “You kill my mind / Raise my body back to life / And I don't know what I'd do without you now.” Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without this absolute banger in my morning playlist.

2. Written All Over Your Face (2022)

Walls was a stellar album, no doubt about it – this list features three songs from it, after all – but it’s with Faith In The Future that Tomlinson has really come into his own as a solo artist. The headstrong rock’n’roll energy weaved throughout it peaks on Written All Over Your Face, clear from the outset as, over a punchy drum beat and rollicking bassline, the artist embraces his heartthrob personality, seeped in sensuality as he quips, “Hey babe / It’s written all over your face.” You’re telling us this is the same man that once sang on What Makes You Beautiful!? Sheer insanity.

1. Out Of My System (2022)

The latest single from Faith In The Future – a post-release pick that made impact earlier this year – is a punk-laced belter that stands out with ripping guitars and a downright explosive chorus. It feels like an almost oddly natural fit for Tomlinson, too, as he smashes through the more intense vocal delivery with stunning aplomb – he’s a bonafide rocker, and Out Of My System shows he’s much better suited to reign in this world than in bubblegum pop.

On his upcoming Australian tour, Tomlinson will play three of the biggest and most renowned venues in the country – two in the open air (sorry, Sydney) – and this is the exact kind of song those venues were built for: a rip-roaring anthem-in-the-making that no sane human could stand still (or, God forbid, sit) for.

Jacob Böhme (november, 17-1575-1624) Near Goerlitz, in Siletia-present-day Poland-Lusatia-part of Saxony Germany or Seindenberg Zawidom.

Known as the Master and 'Philosopher Teutonicus', under the name of ''The Prophet of the Dawn''.

Jacob Böhme's spiritual development is based on the vision and inner and personal struggle of the inner man in the dual depth of the soul.

The Source of the Whole produces in the Pure and pious Heart the Total surrender to the Lumen naturae and Divine Light of the Center of All-Nature.

Through The Divine Vision, one proceeds from the glorious and effulgent simplicity of the mystical experience in the "Book of Nature" and recurs in the "brightness of the sun on a pewter plate". (2)

It is the realization of a ''Christical model'' in relation to the Inner Man as an example of life in Christ and his Mysterious epistemological relationship.

The essential idea is the divine figure and his archetypal Seal or Signature of All Things in the Mysterium Magnum.

Inner reality is the way to individuality as an allegory of the Christ.

''Boehme's example showed that Christianity could be more the ethics and the Scriptures (though he was quite expert in these), more than rites, aestheticism, and sacrament. It could be an inner reality more real than anything in the world and more precious than anything the world could teach''. (3)

This means that through spiritual vision Böhme is able to respond adequately to his individuality and union with his antagonistic and luminous Divine Nature.

His own Being, Divine Ens or Essence, is an arduous journey and internal event, almost eternal and constant, of melancholic and alchemical-Saturnal energetic struggle = (Ars transmutattionis metallicae).

''There is an eternal Contrariety between Darkness and Light, neither of them comprehends the other, and neither of them is the other; and yet there is only on Essence, Being, or Substance, wherein both subsist''. (4)

For Master Florido Jacob Böhme, the Saturn is the contradictory and occult and the only possible way to access the totality of Being.

But, if entering the "sphere of Saturn" and "seeing" the "filthy garment of the Soul" or the dark Night of the Soul is an impossible task.

The body of Man is a whole astrological and alchemical "Botanical Garden" and Jakob Böhme, which as a microcosm was possible to be "irritated" since we possess the astrological and planetary quality of inner irritation.

"Just as the skull of man encompasses and limits the brain (...), the Saturnal Energy encloses, contains and consumes all that is material and tangible". (5)

Alchemy is a scale model of agriculture-celestial astrology and, opera spiritualia.

The astrological firmament or Cosmic Stellar Sky is contained in the organs of the human body.

For Master Morienus, "The mine of the thing with which the Magisterium is carried out is Man". (6)

The spleen is saturnal and the eye is left.

There is a certain degree of dull hostility and even sinister characteristics associated with Saturn and in accordance with the alchemical-metallurgical symbolism in the dark and chaotic consciousness, as the regime of Saturnalia-LEAD that merges inwards, producing in flashes the Novum Lumen Chymicum.

Saturn is the Brute state of matter and lead-saturnal of Opus Magnum = Alchemy.

Darkness is like a Wall in which it is necessary to be able to make a Hole in order for the Kingdom of Light to enter.

For Master Florido Agrippa of Nettesheim (1486-1535), Saturn was: "A Great Lord, Wise and Cautious, author of Inner Contemplation" and "defender and revealer of Mysteries". (8)

According to Böhme, Saturn carries within himself the seed of the Fruit of GOLD and is the Creator of this child who is Mercury. (9)

And, according to Böhme, Saturn is "The Cold, Hard, Stern Ruler" and suffers from "The Wheel of Anguish."

BYSS and ABYSS-NOTHING and ALL- TIME and ETERNITY.

It is worth mentioning the UNGRUND = Reality before God MYSTERIUM magnum.

The Nothing and The Everything. Nothing to say. Beyond Comprehension and Verbal expression is insufficient.

Beyond-Dark Luminis Naturae Bonum Finitum-Deus sit quedam Lux per totum mundum diffusa = God who as Light penetrates Everywhere.

Through Sophia is known the God of Theosophy and Transcendent Divinity, who in his very Transcendence is not the Self.

The Self is the glorious culmination of Eternal Nature to become Manifest. God is God Revealed and Incarnate to Become Manifest.

God is Everything and The Infinite Itself is NOTHING. It is not a Fullness, for in order to Be Fully Realized, the Deity is an Unknown God who becomes Unveiled.

''Being of All Beings is -Essence of All Essences''.

Even then, Unity becomes LOVE-FIRE.

''... sharpened fiery Burning Love of the Unity; whereby the Unity becometh a love-Fire, or light. ''... and an ANGRY Jealous God, according to the fiery ground, according to the Eternal Nature''. (10)

It is worth mentioning that for Böhme, good and evil are always latent within the same dual and visionary inner individuality as celestial mining and Heaven-Earth agriculture.

The Paracelsian Ternary of the Golden Chain consists of triads that express the dynamic Becoming of the Cosmos in Principles = 3 and Numbers 5 and the Kabbalistic Pentalpha 7 in the Process of Eternal Immanence.

''De cavernis metallorum occultus est, qui Lapis est Venerabilis''.

The concept of melancholy – word – and its meaning derives from the Greek in reference to Black and (bile), in allusion and correspondence to the state of being and matter as Nigredo-Lead-Time.

It is Chrono-Saturnal and Saturnal decrepitude since Every Metallic Seed belongs to Saturn.

''Thus, manifested in her the spark of heavenly light, the soul looked at all her works and intentions, including lying in hell and in the wrath of God, she knew that she had made a larvae, a monster in the presence of her and the heavenly kingdom. Of this she took fear and fell into severe distress, because divine justice was shown to her''. (11)

It is the fruitful spiritual state of the Dark Night or the Sacred and Philosophical Pessimism that finds its roots in the Kabbalistic tree of the Cosmos.

The Earth element gives the Practical Meaning of Life and the Flowery Master was excessively practical and realistic.

"Melancholy, which oscillates between morbid sadness, depression and sleep, is a typically alchemical state." (12)

It is that Millennial Principle of the Flowery Masters of the Golden Chain, thus making possible the principle of alchemical spirituality by which substances turn out to be the same elements in the microcosmic Body of Man and his spiritual environment.

This Golden Chain goes all the way back to Abbot Trithemius of Sponheim, for Paracelsus was a pupil of Trithemius and he was the teacher of Dr. Henry Cornelius Agrippa of Nettesheim, physician to Louise of Savoy, the Kabbalist Theurgist of the sixteenth century, and the celebrated author of De Occulta philosophia (1510).

His system is an integral one of Kabbalah and Angelology and alchemical-astrological theurgy of Pythagorean foundation.

Wilhelm Postel was also a spiritual seed through Böhme's friend and biographer Abraham von Frankenberg, editing the unique work Clavis absconditorum.

Let us remember the Clharm of Böhme and his Bohmist system of Christian esotericism and a Christical and spiritual Alchemy embodied in the Three Ternary Principles: Nature=Macrocosm-Man=Microcosm-The Sacred Book-Bible=Word of God-Divine Word.

So, it is a Chain of Masters who follow the Ternary and Mercurial Tradition of the Metallic transformation of a Man into essence with a spiritual body prior to the Fall and exit; ascension to Wisdom and the Way of Salvation.

The World and the Human Body represent the Signature = Figure of the Divinity. (13)

For Böhme, the Essence of God aspires to the Neoplatonic-Paracelsian-Astrological Mystery Revelation as the Metaphysics of Opposites and Personal and Visionary Illumination.

God, then, is revealed as a personal Manifestation in a Heart-to-Heart dialogue, Wisdom being God's plan and Sophia the Principle beyond Perfect Eternity.

That Universal Body is represented as the Heaven and Abode of God where each angel-body is identified with a Great Body which is Heaven = Temple of God as LIGHT and SUBSTANCE = FLESH OF LIGHT.

Transcendence is realized on two planes: that of the Absolute and that of Wisdom, as the plane of the Supreme Divinity is God making Himself KNOWN.

They are Universal Principles of a Spagyric Homeopathy, the use of which he advocates from the transformation of the inner Saturn as Raw Material.

All this happens in the human body = Man.

Body is Temple and Laboratory. Human beings have a purpose in their body and as Humanity for the fulfillment of Revelation as God becomes known through Humanity.

Saturnal darkness is that of heavy and impure elements. Saturn is in the lead of the toxic substances of the body of Gold.

It's lead and coarse metal. By studying the womb, one understands the Alchemical Science of the Genesis of the ALL.

"ONE is the ALL, by him the ALL, for him the All, in him ALL".

Nature is the Book of Secrets. She is MYRIFIC VERB.

A body of putrefaction, and the proper and essential condition of transformation and ascension.

For the Master's Theosophy, true knowledge is a Manifestation of the Spirit of God, after struggling with Saturnalia melancholy.

The Saturn sickle is only the manifestation of the restrictive and melancholy aspect of Life.

I mean; every true alchemist knows how difficult it is to transform the Lapis Philosophorum by "taking a steam bath with Saturn".

The Way is equivalent to the unconditional following of the Imago of Christ if he manages to defeat Saturn.

It is a "Saturnal event" and must pass through the world of the Hidden Fire and how the "heart must pass the test of the cross in the Fire of God". (15)

Saturnal Melancholy was part of his world-spiritual-philosophica-system, sustaining the personal motive of the life and feelings of the Divine Master Böhme. Jacob Böhme was a melancholic, "deep state of melancholy and sadness".

Saturn means that his passage through life (Böhme), which is not easy, and that the world was really for him his vale of tears – hence his melancholy – which leads him through the maximum effort towards the overcoming and internal purification of the "tincture in man and nature".

Surrender in Totality to God is the key since God is Born and expresses Himself in Nature as an anti-Saturnalian Source of Inspiration.

The Chain is a ''historical nexus'' with an inner reality more real and precious than anything in the world by means of vision:'' in that quarter hour I saw and learnt more than if I had studied many years in some university... for I perceived and recognized the Being of All Beings''.

This Saturnal body is essentially Good and since God is Born in it, its transformation into Divine Ascension is possible.

Everything in Manifested God is "smelling" and tasting" in the Third Principle We Live.

The alchemy of the Man-Cosmos occurs through ternary stages: the Raw Matter and its Three Principles -Tria principia = Salt-Sulphur-Mercury. (16)

The whole spiritual Theosophy of Jakob Böhme is based on and expressed in conceptions grounded and justified in a mentality of the particular and concrete.

Jakob Böhme, for example, was a realist and practical with an ethic of self-imposed iron discipline and Saturnal self-knowledge.

''So, I have now written, not from human teaching or science from learning books, but from my own book that was opened in me. For the book of the noble portrait - the image of God - was granted to me to read. My book has only three sheets. These are the three principles of eternity''.

The Saturnal Sickle indicates the restrictive aspect of life, leading to the passage of life as a "Valley of Tears" that leads to Purification and Spiritual Improvement. ALL Metallic seeds are Saturnian and limiting in nature. Saturn is between cold and dry because it is far from the Sun.

For Ptolemy: "The planet Saturn, according to its influence, provides coldness mostly, and by its own frigidity it desiccates moderately..."

Certain tendencies, due to his coldness, consider him "malefic", something in total disagreement with the Flowery Masters.

All that is dark, fetid and animals such as the owl, bat, crow and owl belong to him.

Paracelsus commented that narcotics in plants consecrated to funeral rituals and ceremonies belong to his saturnal kingdom (opium poppies, belladonna and cannabis = hemp).

Its day is Saturday=Saturn-day.

The Children of Saturn love darkness as a fundamental part of light awakening. Black bile = melancholy increases.

Seventh heaven and cold-dry nature.

The harmonization and rigorous observation of the inner cosmos, taking advantage of and recognizing the dual aspects of each zodiacal quality, leads us to alchemical-spiritual sublimation.

Between us there are correspondences and analogies with the potentiality of each of the planets in our body and their microcosmic order.

The body and the Human Form are that which the Manifested God assumes as a human being and Christ in His Earthly Body.

God cannot reveal Himself even for His own contemplation without the existence of something other than himself as an expression-emission.

God has His own Mirror of Contemplation, and that Mirror is the same Body of the angels since God before creating our heaven brought the BEING the PRIMORDIAL HEAVEN.

This Primordial Body is an angelic body and at the same time corresponds to the CELESTIAL EARTH = ETERNAL NATURE.

The Spirit of God is Creative in the Matrix of Wisdom = SOPHIA. Our world lies in the confused life of Saturn as Time and between Light and Darkness as Reflecting Mirror reflecting both.

That Upper World, or Celestial World for Böhme, possesses its own 'Higher Physis'.

Let us remember that by the end of the eighteenth century, Saturn was the "Limit of the Sky" as the most remote in our Solar System.

Jakob Böhme was a learned astrologer who knew the evident Hellenistic doctrine of the symbolic descent of the soul from astrological sphere to sphere and of the inherent qualities of planets in the alchemical body of Man.

7 are the successive Stages and Operations leading from the Saturnal to the state of Gold. The UNGRUND is the PURE DEITY = Self-Sufficient-Perfect Infinity.

It is the NOTHINGNESS that is BEING to Manifest as Absolute Primordial Freedom and Irrational and Mysterious Principle that is deposited as a sperm-agricultural germ at the base of the BEING.

The Depth of the heart of the divine Pleroma or Unfathomable Mystery Totality. It contains NOTHING and is everywhere and nowhere.

It's better to say NOTHING.

FREEDOM IS THE BASIS OF BEING.

Totality-Primordial Heaven-Celestial Macrocosm = Body of Angels and Eternal Nature.

London Downtempo Playlist (YouTube)

Continuing to plumb the seemingly endless depths of London's *vast* underground electronic music landscape with this brief and random assortment of killer, underheard gems from the city's incredible downtempo scene.

Things kick off here with a cut from the Rapino Brothers, a pair of Italian guys who moved to London in the late 80s, and who are probably most famous for their very popular remix of the 1993 Italo-Eurodance classic, "The Rhythm of the Night," by Corona. The following year, they released a 12-inch called Go Ahead London, and its title track made its way onto Belgian ambient series Barramundi's first installment. Terrific, twinklingly bleepy affair with great string pads and a sweet trip-hoppy drum groove 😌. The song has a few different uploads on YouTube and has about 10.9K plays in total.

Now, towards the middle of this playlist is maybe my favorite downtempo track ever made, "At the River," by Groove Armada, which has millions of plays. But I actually used a much lesser-known different version of it here, which comes directly from a not-so-stellar Fatboy Slim mix from 2000 called Essential Selection, Vol. One (actually, that release is a double-disc and the second CD is a fantastic trance mix by none other than Paul Oakenfold). So, the first 80 seconds of this version of "At the RIver" happens to be the result of a really impressive transition between another gigantic hit from that late 90s era, Underworld's "Born Slippy," whose drums simply undergird the Groove Armada classic. And it's magic. Currently sitting at around 42.6K plays across its few uploads. A much, much lower play count than the original version.

Also, as London is a pretty diverse and multicultural metropolis, we've also got a pair of tunes here that definitely have an Eastern flair to them as well, even though I don't think that the people who made them are actually of any Eastern ethnicity themselves. "20 Camels," by Friends, Lovers & Family, aka Laurence Elliott-Potter, is on a Middle-Eastern trip hop-lounge tip, and originally comes from a 1998 comp that was released by electronic avantgarde label Law & Auder called Further East-Westercisms. It currently has ~17.8K plays across its handful of uploads. And little-known duo Radar's "Caravane" originates from a 1999 comp called Arabesque, but I found it on another Law & Auder comp from 2000 called East - Westercisms, Vol. 3. That one has about 61.6K plays among its bunch of uploads.

Old Art of Star Shooters

I recently cleaned my DeviantArt, GoldStarProduction, of all of my art since 2013 and found a lot of good art. I haven't gotten around to making new art that I am confident in sharing yet. So, I will post the digital art of some of the characters within Star Shooters.

I constantly altered between a cute simplified design to a more detailed and realistic one. I am still working on what style to draw these characters in, and some characters don't have a design yet. So far, all the art I have is old designs of the characters and do not reflect who they are in the current version of my story.

Apologies for any watermarks shown below. The old tablet that I used to draw with doesn't support the art app I once used.

I originally had the idea that their cores, souls, would float above their heads. Now their cores are inside their bodies. Gold had an antenna instead of a horn and Silver was always sad.

Compared to the rest of the crew, I found myself constantly drawing Gold. This was also my attempt to make a drawn model of Gold when I was messing around with Blender. I haven't gotten around to fixing my old laptop, it was misplaced sometime before the break.

Gold Gemitaurus and Copper Cephei:

I didn't know what I was doing when outlining these characters. There was just a black outline with inside lines being darker than the color inside. I also had a thing for black belts or rings/bands on characters too.

I had trouble choosing colors for Ube, either having a vibrant purple or a dull purple. So far, I had stuck with the more vibrant shade of purple.

Bone Aratumi:

I don't think I ever got around to digitally drawing Bone Aratumi. This is the most recent drawing I have made. He is similar enough to Gold's brother, Bone Gemitaurus. Bone Gemitaurus is the same type of Star, just with different tattoos and other physical differences.

Yellow was very hard to draw in other poses, her hair was something that changed a lot before I got the hang of it. I did have a different type of hairstyle for her but I can't find the sketches. Perhaps at a later time.

Lapis was the least character I drew, along with Bone Aratumi. I do plan to majorly redesign her along with everyone else.

Lavender Pink Veloctan:

Excuse the misspell, I was too interested in drawing and designing. But this was the only drawing I had of Lavender Pink, originally named Lavender Magenta. They'll have a major redesign as well, I am not happy with their hair and body proportions.

I never designed Sky Microscopium, despite describing its appearance in my senior thesis creative writing piece. Sky will be designed as well; I'll have to force my Chromebook to work with me.

I will have sketches of all the characters when I get the chance. I am open to any feedback so please tell me any suggestions, questions, or anything else.

To date, 8 crypto coins already meet the ISO 20022 standard: XRP (XRP), Stellar Lumens (XLM), XDC Network (XDC), Algorand (ALGO), and Iota (IOTA), Hedera Hashgraph (HBB AR), Quant (QNT) and Cardano (ADA). Two of them do not just comply with ISO 20022, they are members of the ISO 20022 standardization body. These currencies are XRP and Stellar Lumens.

List of ISO 20022 compliant cryptocurrencies in 2024

XRP (XRP)

XRP (XRP), the main cryptocurrency of Ripple, is also one of the largest market cap crypto and is by far the largest compliant ISO 20022 coin.

Ripple is a member of the ISO 20022 standardization body and the second largest fintech company in the United States. The XRP coin is considered to mediate between the crypto and fiat markets and is used for various purposes, including fast and cheap cross-border operations. Today XRP can process about 1,500 transactions per second.

Stellar (XLM)

Stellar appeared after the Ripple hard fork and then became a separate network. As well as its "progenitor", Stellar is a member of the ISO 20022 standardization body. XLM coin, like XRP, is designed to combine the crypto and fiat worlds but focuses on currency conversion for individuals rather than organizations other than XRP. It is also designed to develop central bank digital currencies (CBDC).

Currently, more than 300 financial institutions in 45 countries use XLM as a settlement mechanism, including Santander Bank and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Cardano (ADA)

Cardano is a decentralized Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain with an Outdoor algorithm that provides proven security and increased transaction processing speed. It is now the world's largest public PoS blockchain with a strong community that has gained a significant presence in the cryptocurrency market, reflecting its widespread acceptance and interest among investors.

Quant (QNT)

Quant is designed to simplify the interaction between major blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple using its gateway, the Overledger DLT operating system. When using it, the issue of compatibility of various blockchains within one ecosystem is solved.

The Quant network enables the creation of advanced multi-chain applications that take advantage of the unique advantages of different blockchains while maintaining the maximum security and integrity of each blockchain.

QNT is Quant Protocol's own currency and is paid by developers to create and operate dApps on the network.

Algorand (ALGO)

Algorand is a large Level 1 blockchain trying to solve many of the problems inherent with competitors like Ethereum. As it said, it is capable of processing about 1,300 transactions per second. The Pure Proof-of-Stake consensus method facilitates rapid transaction confirmation but also maintains one of the lowest transaction fees in the cryptocurrency world while maintaining environmental awareness.

Hedera HashGraph (HBAR)

This distributed ledger platform is similar to blockchain but has a slightly different mechanism of operation. The Hedera Hashgraph project is designed to overcome many of the limitations of traditional blockchains and can execute 10,000 transactions per second (with some reports up to 500,000 transactions per second) with a high level of security. Unlike competitors, Hedera Hashgraph uses a function called a directed acyclic graph to sequence transactions without dividing them into blocks. HBAR is its own cryptocurrency.

IOTA (MIOTA)

A centralized blockchain registry designed to process Internet of Things (IoT)-based transactions. The uniqueness of IOTA lies in the absence of a standard blockchain from the blockchain in favor of a special acyclic graph called Tangle. This allows any user of the system to be a conditional "miner." Everyone who wants to make a transaction is obliged to take part in the formation of the network and approve the two previous transactions. The processing of the other two operations ensures that consensus is reached on the status of the transactions.

Tangle technology also provides superior scalability compared to many other blockchain-based cryptocurrencies. It also excludes limits on transaction volumes (a capability of many micropayments) and their number.

XDC Network (XDC)

XDC Network is an open-source hybrid blockchain protocol that specializes in tokenization for decentralized finance (DeFi). The network is used as a tool for long-term decentralized management. The most striking and important feature of the network is that it embodies a completely new XDPoS consensus mechanism. Compared to Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS), it is much more energy efficient and faster.

XDC complies with ISO 20022. According to its website, the network "allows enterprises of any type to connect their legacy systems to a network of blockchain using the XDC protocol and ISO 20022 compliant messaging."

Xinfin has partnered with R3, a consortium of more than 200 financial institutions, to act as a bridge and host dApps on the Corda Marketplace. Corda "is compatible with existing and emerging regulations such as ISO 20022."
