There’s going to be a reboot of the Winx Club coming to Netflix in autumn this year. To be honest, I’m a bit excited, nervous and concerned about how it’ll turn out.

Will it be just as good as the original or will it face the same fate as most of the live action remakes of Disney classic films?

I had seen some fan videos doing some small reviews after seeing the trailer so far… and I have to be honest, there were somethings about the reboot I have to agree one thing. Not that I have anything against the final versions of the main characters’ fairy forms, but they were a bit too detailed for them starting out as beginner fairies if anyone had seen the trailer and promo arts.

If I have to be honest, I wish the people working on the reboot should have had stuck with the designs as displayed above. Not only are they much closer to the original hand drawn series, but they’re most simple yet pretty for freshmen fairies. Of course, my only criticism is that they should have given Bloom skorts (a combination of skirt and shorts) kinda like in the original.

Oh well… beggars can’t be choosers. 😮‍💨

Who would like being summoned more Stellaluna or Aster?

I like to think that Aster sometimes goes to summonings in Stolas’s place as part of his training to help with the duties that he, Via, and Stolas started splitting! He’s happy to offer knowledge of plants if they want that, and can make basic prophecies if he uses the Grimoire, but if they want something particularly uncomfortable or violent… he’s very good at making sure the wording backfires on them in the end.

For Stellaluna, she probably doesn’t get summoned much if at all, but if it was, it would probably be for advice on self-defense/fighting or something. She likes showing people how to stab things properly.
