General question

I started writing something for Jyn Week (May 20 - 27 on @jynappreciationsquad!) But here's the thing: it's an alternate universe fic where Steela survived the Clone Wars instead of Saw, and she leads the Partisans, she befriends and hides the Ersos, she picks up and adopts Jyn instead. The whole story is from Steela's POV. Now, each section/prompt fill is centered on Jyn and Steela's relationship/view of her, but again, it's all Steela's point of view, thoughts, reactions, memories, and involvement with Fulcrum (because I don't imagine Ahsoka would have left an asset/friend like Steela out of her network). Does it still qualify for Jyn week, or have I essentially derailed us into another fandom? (If it helps, the story starts with Steela collecting Jyn from Lahmu after Krennic finds them and ends with an Alliance spy arriving to collect Jyn from Jedha to go find a defector pilot. No comment on how well Jyn knows that spy at this point).
