BDS added this section to their boycott page and I think people really need to read it:

please remember, pushing unorganized boycotts without carefully fact-checking every company in the list can be actively HARMFUL to the boycott movement.

#stealing your tags bailey bc im losing my mind how often i have to explain this to people #if you want to boycott a particular company go ahead! it's your money! but do your own research & dont just blindly follow those huge lists #and don't yell at people who aren't boycotting those lol #but also - if you think you can boycott the tiktok “big three” (starbucks mcdonalds and coke or whatever it is??) and think you've done #enough absolutely not. go look up the official bds list and boycott those #& if you want to do more they also have a list of “organic bds” which is grassroot boycott campaigns they actually do support & other lists #like pressure lists where they want people to write and pressure those companies rather than boycott them outright bc they're basically #monopolies & we'd never get enough people to boycott it to make a difference #hold on i'll find the lists and reblog it after this #palestine
