2 months ago today this wretched virus stole my heartbeat. Every single day hurts. Her absence is making my heart feel so very heavy. Each day I feel it a little more and I know that eventually time will heal my pain but it still feels so unkind and way too unfair. She was too young...she had so much more to do. I want her back. I was not ready to lose her. To all of you who think that the loosening of the lockdown measures means we are over the worst of it...please remember the role you play in making sure that that truly is the case. You must still act responsibly. There is STILL a huge risk that we could suffer a second wave. Trust me...you DO NOT want to experience this kind of pain. These last 2 months have been horrific. I would not wish this on anyone. Please remain at home where you can and consider EVERY step you take. Assess those risks and ask yourself...is what I am doing today a justified reason to potentially risk the life of someone I love.
