Toxel Facts

-Toxels are known to be kinda bratty and throw loud tantrums when they don't get what they want. Playing loud music can help calm them down

-Since Toxel aren't fast or strong, they will hide themselves in bushes or tall grass and wait for unsuspecting bug pokemon to crawl near them, and poison them to eat

-Toxels use aposematism, which is when organisms have a bright color scheme to show predators, "Hey! I'm poisons! Don't eat me!"

-Because of the numbing poison combined with static they secrete, trainers should wear gloves when handling them, as handling them for too long can cause paralysis

-Toxel usually live by themselves, with Toxtricity leaving nests right after their eggs are laid

-Toxel waste is black (it also smells a lot worse than most poison types, and as much as I love them, I do not enjoy caring for them much)

-The special organ that filters dirty water for Toxel when drinking is called the "Venenlutus." It's located near their throat

-The wrinkles over Toxel's eyes help them see far away better

-The horns on Toxel have two functions; the first one is as a warning to predators because spikes=dangerous to a lot of species, and the second one is to sense and feel sound waves better

-Toxel snot and spit is purple

-Their poison sacs and electricity sacs are in the similar shape of an eggplant

-If a predator somehow gets past their poison, Toxel will let out an ear splitting cry and swing their arms around spouting poison everywhere in order to get the fo to go away

(Sending again on anon, sorry, I dislike being perceived) What are your thoughts on Toxel and Toxtricity? They're my favorite poison types, I just think they're such goofy fellas...

Oh i think they're quite delightful! I've only had the chance to work with them a couple times, I had an acquaintance that raised one and I got to hold her as just the smallest little newborn toxel.

One of the things that's always stuck with me about them is the way their poison feels. I mean, touch many electric types and you may feel that tingling of static, but it clears quite quickly. But toxel's poison is such an exact match to the feeling of static that your hands feel like you're touching a Tesla coil for hours!!! It's fascinating!

Don't do that though, please use gloves when you handle poison types, especially those such as toxel and croagunk that secrete toxin through your skin. don't be like me.

Toxtricity is so very interesting as well, as they're the only pokemon currently on record that evolves into it's two different forms based on their nature alone, which I have always found quite intriguing, especially as the Amped form has an entire two extra sound organs! From what I remember the sound of my acquaintance's Toxtricity was quite lovely, she was a low key form and the deep reverberations could be oddly soothing for how loud they could be.

Amped Form (Yellow one): As it scatters toxic sweat and emits electricity, a melody that sounds like it came from a guitar reverberates through the surrounding area. The jolts of electricity it launches by violently strumming the protrusions on its chest easily exceed 15,000 volts.

Low Key Form: Many youths admire the way this Pokemon listlessly picks fights and keeps its cool no matter what opponent it faces. As it gulps down stagnant water and generates electricity in its body, a sound like a rhythm played by a bass guitar reverberates all around.

I’ve thought way too much about this dumb “psychedelic band AU”. As in “altered my Google ads and YouTube recommendations” too much. XD;;;

And that’s mostly because I wanted to come up with the right instruments for that type of sound. So here’s what I came up with:

Rika: It depends, as Hassel (well, more the academy’s art department) owns a Pearl Masters Maple Reserve kit in “twilight burst” that she uses for recording, but she personally owns a Ludwig Breakbeats kit in black sparkle for portability to gigs. To her, a drum kit is a drum kit, but she knows the difference between a brass cymbal and a bronze one. While she doesn’t use it in official Champion Evaluation battles, she has an Amped Form Toxtricity (Ground-Teratype) that performs extra guitar parts when needed.

Poppy: Custom-made electric "guitalele" made in the style of an EVH Wolfgang, as she wants a real full-sized one when she’s big enough. (At current, they’re almost as big as she is!) It has a pink and gunmetal gradient paintjob. Believe it or not, electric ukuleles do exist, and they do sound like full-size electric guitars!) As mentioned previous, her Magneton knows how to play the autoharp with static, but is learning how to play the sitar as well.

Larry: Squier Affinity Precision Bass in charcoal frost; he can’t afford/justify the cost of a proper Fender Precision, despite musicians as a whole hollering in his ear about “getting a proper Fender P-Bass”. Hassel’s never given him grief about it, however—but he has made repeated offers to get Larry a P-Bass. (All of which flatly declined, as “don’t waste your money on me”.) His Flamigo knows how to play the tambourine, and if you hear a haunting soprano in the background, that's his Altaria.

Hassel: Hammond SKX Pro, which is suitable for more traditional organ but also has more modern synth for recordings on the experimental side. (Because artist.) He also plays guitar for some recordings, and owns several in both electric and acoustic, depending on what he thinks a song needs. (He was even the one who taught Poppy how to play, and who commissioned her ukulele). His Noivern is able to alter the sound of music recordings either during recording or even live on-the-fly, depending on what sound its trainer is looking for.

Volt Switch: Favorite Electric types(s)

Listed roughly in order from most to I guess 6th most, I found grubbin very charming and I do love vikavolt but if I'm picking one from the line I just gotta love chargabug being both a battery, a bus and a compact little guy.

Rotom rules because electric poltergeists are fun and I love the variety of forms, flaffy is some movie nostalgia, enjoying the static electricity wool idea and some nostalgia for having one (eventually ampharos) in soul silver. Toxtricity gets points for being electric guitar pokemon and the closest I'm gonna get to metal rep (even if they are more punk rock) and the other two are riding the train of just being based on irl animals I like.

Aerial Ace: Favorite Flying types(s)

This one is in less particular order than the first in terms of faves because I kept remembering things and changing my mind.

Love gyrados, a childhood fave and sure the little guy into cool big scary guy is a common trope but they're the og! and also a threatening wind sock. Gyrados rocks. Love Honchkrow, maybe my top 1 favourite flying? The mafia don theme is fun and its just got such great personality.

Yanmega is a prehistoric bug that kicks ass and does a great job conveying that irl dragonflies are apex predators. Vullaby is fucking adorable and I love its fucking, human skull nappy. Perfect goth baby. Drifloon is a hillariously ghoulish little It balloon. Mega pinsir is a great glow up for one of the favorite original bugs and is such an outright demonic looking bug pokemon but despite how it looks its one of the only megas that doesn't have an entry about being in pain, fucked up or more aggressive, its just fucking zoomies

Mimikyu is favourite number one, its adorable, its ability is fun, is a great meta commentary on pikaclone mascot attempts, my perfect aesthetic of creepy cute love it. Houndstone aesthetically is so good and I wish there was actual art of it I could grab. Phantump is cool, cute and a wonderfully dark pokedex entry, love to have Evan on my team.

Phantump is finally a jackolanturn pokemon and I love the route of not just making the face the carving but doing a fun little black cat/bat thing with it! Halloween! Huge fan of OG bannete the scuzzy little haunted puppet and its fucked up gimp mouth and mega bannette just expands on that more and more, it kicks ass and looks like you let 12 year old me design it (complementary). Duskull is really fun, the one eye pendulum swinging in the skull, its cool little mask, very cute/creepy. Huge fan of dusclops as well but for different reasons and then unfortuantly dusknoir gets too busy for me. Does mean I can eviolite dusclops tho!

Cherish Ball: Favorite Gen IV Pokémon

Activates my secret autism power of having already compiled in a doc my favourites of each gen, ask only asks for one though so gotta give it to my man toxicroak

delightfully slimy little smile, pleasing colour scheme, love a toxic toad and his fucked up little claws.

Ultra Ball: Favorite Pseudo-legendary(ies)

Apparently Volcarona doesn't technically count as one but fuck bulbapedia its the only bug one and it has the stats, high level to hang. Moth light obsession/khepri sun god bug theming is sick. It rules and it counts. Tyranitar and Dragonite are both here from childhood nostalgia for the show and leaf green respectively, I love that Tyranitar is godzilla and mean and I love that one of the strongest of the first pokemon and only dragon type was just a chubby guy. Garchomp is a cool land shark, star on it feels unnecessary, Hydreigon is a cool fucked up and evil hydra dragon with head hands and tatered wings, really love the ghost dinosaur concept of dragapult so it gets to be number 6 I'm just not actually that into the stealth bomber aesthetic.

[static flickers across the screen for a moment, before it resolves into colour. A girl is leaning forwards, arm out, fiddling with the camera. She’s squinting, and her tongue is poking out between her lips. After a moment, her expression clears, and she grins.]

“Oh, good, this thing still works! I wanted to keep a video diary, since this is really the chance of a lifetime. I’ll be censoring anything confidential, of course, not that I plan on posting this! Um.” [The girl folds her arms, and looks off screen. She does this for 30 seconds, before looking back at the camera.]

“I probably should have planned out what to say, huh? I mean, I’m on Dōtaku island! What a dream come true, right? Professor Peach is super nice, although….” [The girl glances around, and then leans in to the camera like she’s sharing a secret.] “She’s, like, super scary, are you kidding me? I’ve seen her wrestling with an Ursaring— an Ursaring??? Who even does that???”

[Something makes noise off screen. The girl snaps upright again, cheeks flushing red. After a moment, she relaxes, and rolls her eyes, exhaling harshly. From off camera, there is a low, gurgling laugh.] “Oh, very funny, Beanbag. Scare the life out of me, why don’t you? I thought you were the prof!”

[The girl leans over, and snags a purple arm. She tugs, and a Toxtricity stumbles into view. It looks very pleased with itself. It is Low-Key, and features some scarring around it’s throat. It’s voice does not sound damaged.] “Cmon, introduce yourself to the camera. I’m gonna be keeping up with these logs, so you’re gonna have to get used to being filmed.”

[The Toxtricity sticks it’s tongue out at her. She ignores this, and grabs one of its arms, waving it for the ‘mon. When she speaks, it is in a cartoony, high voice.] “Hello, everyone! I’m Beanbag! I like to play mean pranks and eat my trainers lunch!”

[The girls expression shifts to panic, and she drops the Toxtricities arm in order to reach her hands out.] “Wait, Cleo, don’t!” [Something slams into the camera from behind. The image blurs as the camera falls, before refocusing on the floor. A pair of paws race by, followed by human legs.] “Cleo!”

[The camera blurs again as it is picked up. Toxtricity squints into it, and then begins making faces as if it is posing for a selfie. After a few faces, it stops to laugh, before starting again. This continues for twenty minutes.]

Ok so we have the three sisters Honey, Weiss, and Bronte Dubois. The three are originally from Hoenn, though they’ve all moved since reaching adulthood. They’re all in their mid 20s. {Content may update occasionally}

First is the eldest sister. Stern and serious, Honey managed to complete her gym circuit (though defeated by the Hoenn champion) and had a successful run as a Pokémon Contest star, then settled into a career as a professor’s assistant and teacher at the region’s trainer school. Currently, Honey has settled into a job on @prof-peach ‘s Dōtaku Island, serving as a guard to prevent intrusion into the northern half of the island and to prevent poaching. Her team is as follows:

Janus - Girafarig (purebred). Honey’s partner pokemon. Brave nature. Is the leader of the team and unafraid of going toe to toe with much larger pokemon, favoring close combat unlike most members of his species. Very protective of children and small Pokémon. Keeps a chew toy for his tail. Big enough to ride on these days due to age and stored energy. Uses Crunch, Zen Headbutt, Return, and Thunderbolt. Has Inner Focus ability.

Plum - Crobat (Swoobat mix). Zubat!Plum was the first Pokémon Honey caught on her journey. Hasty nature. Enjoys racing more than fights, but in a battle is a high speed long-range nightmare. Swoobat ancestry results in a lighter color, some fluff, bigger wings and eyes, and a bigger focus on Sp. Attack moves and access to Psychic. Very cuddly and affectionate. Knows Hurricane, Leech Life, Sludge Bomb, and Psychic. Has Infiltrator ability.

Omen - Absol (mega). Contest winner and efficient battler. Impish nature. Mega stone found by chance in mountains. Believed to have Mightyena ancestry, resulting in fur markings, bigger teeth and claws, and shaggier coat. Helps with classes that help break Pokemon myths and stereotypes. Knows Night Slash, Sword Dance, Shadow Claw, and Psycho Cut. Has Super Luck Ability.

Honeycrisp - Appletun (honeycrisp). Sweet old lady. Docile nature. Caught at an event held by farmers who raise apples and Applin line variants. Has a tendency to mother the other team members, even though 4/5 are twice her size or more. Honeycrisp variant results in slight color change and a sweeter aroma. Knows Apple Acid, Dragon Pulse, Recover, and High Horsepower. Has Ripen ability.

Glimmer - Sylveon (ruffled). Diva and contest superstar. Sassy nature. Raised from an Eevee and was VERY insistent on becoming a Sylveon. For some reason evolved to have ruffled ribbons instead of the standard. Knows Moonblast, Play Rough, Draining Kiss, and Mystical Fire. Has Cute Charm ability.

Lucky - Lapras (shiny). Last to join the team. Quirky nature. Found being stolen by poachers; quickly rescued and brought to local specialists for injuries. Ended up bonding w/ Honey during this time and decided to come along. Used to be a spokespokemon for Lapras conservation and anti-poaching. Knows Surf, Ice Beam, Body Slam, and Sing. Has Shell Armor ability.

Weiss is the middle sister. She immediately fell in love with Ice types as a child and became a Type Specialist. Yes, she does dye her hair that color for the Aesthetic. Earned all her gym badges in Hoenn but decided against challenging the Elite Four/Champion. Despite her type preferences she’s a very warm and friendly person, and loves to travel, though she’s settled in Alola now. She’s currently petitioning for a position in the Island Challenge, though has settled for writing about her travels in the meantime. Her team is as follows:

Yuki-Onna: Froslass. Bronte’s partner Pokémon since a Snorunt. Quiet nature. While not a species variant, the patterns on her and her Snorunt form were circles instead of the usual shape. Holds many Contest ribbons. Knows Blizzard, Aurora Veil, Shadow Ball, and Hail.

Wave: Dewgong (Walrein variant). Caught during a seasonal migration during her Pokemon journey. Careful nature. Walrein ancestry results in bigger fins, larger tusks, and a fluffy ruff as well as a predisposition towards melee combat; as such, he prefers to fight rather than perform. Tends to act like the leader of team. Knows Dive, Iron Tail, Aqua Ring, and Drill Run.

Jumbo: Mamoswine. Caught as a Swinub. Bashful nature. Has always been a shy Pokémon, despite his massive size. However, no one should mistake that for a lack of power; he is the team’s main physical powerhouse. Often helps clear fallen trees and such. Knows Earthquake, Avalanche, Ice Fang, and Ancient Power. Has Oblivious ability.

Flurry: Ninetales (Alolan, Shiny). Caught as a Vulpix when Weiss first moved to Alola. Calm nature. Is rather vain and likes to be groomed. Prefers to never let opponents get close, specializing in long range combat. Knows Dazzling Gleam, Ice Beam, Extrasensory, and Hex. Has the Snow Warning ability.

Grace: Aurorus (caped). Acquired via wondertrade as an Amaura. Has a frill that extends down her back and smaller frills on the back of her front legs. Relaxed nature. Is a very zen Pokémon who is difficult to provoke and is very fond of naps. Knows Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Protect, and Flash Cannon. Has the Snow Warning ability.

Gloria: Frosmoth. Caught as a Snom while visiting Bronte in Galar. Bold nature. Is a social butterfly and likes to hang out with visitors. Took the longest to evolve, so occasionally forgets she isn’t a tiny Pokémon anymore. Knows Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, Blizzard, and Hurricane. Has Ice Scales ability.

Bronte is the youngest sister. High energy with a loud personality, it isn’t any wonder she ended up as an Electric Type Specialist and a big Pokémon Contest star. Ended up moving to the Galar region and settling in the city of Jouleburough, home of the minor circuit Electric type Gym. She worked her way up the ranks to eventually take over as Gym Leader, and now has her eyes set on getting onto the Gym Challenge circuit, famous for her “Electric Terrain” and “Speed Demon” double battle formations. Her team is as follows:

Zeus: Raichu (Alolan, purebred). Bronte’s partner Pokémon since he was a Pichu. Evolved while visiting Weiss in Alola, resulting in his variant evolution. Part of Bronte’s “Electric Terrain” Double Battle formation with Beacon the Ampharos. Knows Electric Terrain, Psychic, Electroball, and Volt Tackle. Has Surge Surfer ability.

Leo: Luxray (brindle). Found abandoned as a Luxio in a power plant. Adamant nature. Has a brindle coat rather than the standard. Part of the “Speed Demon” Double Battle formation with Zap the Boltund. Is fiercely protective of Bronte and the rest of the team. Knows Thunder Fang, Wild Charge, Crunch, and Fire Fang. Has Intimidate ability.

Beacon: Ampharos. Caught as a Mareep. Quiet nature. Part of the “Electric Terrain” Double Battle formation. When not in Gym battles likes to wander the woods outside Jouleburough and use her tail light to guide lost people back to the city. Knows Thunder, Power Gem, Zap Cannon, and Dragon Pulse. Has Static ability.

Zap: Boltund (purebred). Acquired via Wondertrade as a child, inspiring her interest in the Galar region. Jolly nature. Part of the “Speed Demon” Double Battle formation with Leo the Luxray. Pure of heart, dumb of ass. Knows Play Rough, Thunder Fang, Bulk Up, and Psychic Fang. Has Strong Jaw ability.

Joulie: Galvantula. Acquired as a Joltick. Rash nature. Believed to have Ariados ancestry due to purple striping on legs. Is overly friendly, loves cuddles a bit too much for her size, and acts impulsively. Knows Electroweb, Bug Buzz, Giga Drain, and Thunderbolt. Has Compound Eyes ability.

Reverb: Toxtricity (amped). Gifted as a Toxel for rising up the ranks at the Jouleburough Gym. Quirky nature. On the rare occasion Bronte battles somewhere capable of Dynamaxing, Reverb is the go-to choice and can Gigantimax. Is a bit of a jokester and loves hanging out with the kids who come to the gym. Knows Boomburst, Overdrive, Toxic, and Venoshock. Has the Punk Rock ability.

Inspired by @huffletrax’s post I just reblogged I figured if they wouldn’t mind, I’ll do a team for everyone’s favorite Septic and my interpretation of him as he’d be in Pokémon.

Pokemon AU

Antisepticeye

Luxray, Toxtricity (Amped Form, can Gigantamax), Vikavolt, Nidoking, Gengar (Has Gengarite), Naganadel

-He travels just to do what he wants, chief among them being fight with his Pokémon. He’s a very brutal fighter but he never goes too far if his Pokémon look tired or the opponent is knocked out already. And don’t try to make him fight a Baby Pokémon or one that’s young just. Do not for the sake of your own health.

-His ‘starter’ was Luxray, he found him while hiding outside of Rowan’s lab to wait for an opportunity to grab one of the ‘official’ ones, and as he was waiting. He felt a little nuzzling at his leg mixed with a spark that fizzled against his static and looked down, there was a Shinx just... there. Like any cat, he chose Anti and Anti didn’t have the heart to say no.

-He does not have the ability to use lightning in this AU, but he has the ability to conduct it without risk to himself, his static is more of a kind of... hypnotic ability so he doesn’t need to worry about anyone ratting him out to Jenny if they see him. It makes it so anyone in range of his static just, forgets his face and his voice.

-His team met in order is Luxray, Gengar, Nidoking, Vikavolt, Naganadel and Toxtricity.

-He befriended Zekrom as he sticks true to his Ideals, he also befriended Raikou, Mewtwo and Xurkitree.

-As he isn’t fully human but a glitch, he knows of MissingNo. He’s one of the few that know about it that doesn’t use the poor thing for duplication, instead he tries to treat it as kindly as he can when he can feel it nearby. And no, he will not give secrets.

-The reason he doesn’t want to be caught by Jenny? He’s a hacker, and a damn good one too. He uses it to expose people like Giovanni for what they really are, he doesn’t do just big names either, he exposes anyone corrupt. Looker can’t stand him because Anti hasn’t ever been caught and actively taunts the detective because it’s fun.

-His Hacker Symbol is a green and black glitching Eye and he lets his voice get glitchy so no one can identify him. A play on All Seeing Eye, Always Watching.

-He has an unofficial seventh Pokémon in Rotom, as the little Legendary took a liking to him as he wandered through the Old Chateau where he caught his Gengar then a Gastly, as they were of a similar personality. And the fact Anti laughed when Rotom tried to scare him instead of running away. Rotom helps Anti with his hacking and likes to stay in his phone or laptop, bringing up reminders or information he needs.

-Anti’s usual style is punk/rock, ripped jeans, combat boots, biker jacket, wrist bands, black t shirt, fingerless gloves and a spiked choker. His hair is dyed different shades of green and he keeps it long to tie into a braid or ponytail. And he paints his nails black or dark green and likes liner. Try to make fun of him for it and he will punch you if his Pokémon don’t get to you first.

-His Hacker outfit when he wants to appear is a black trenchcoat, full gloves, uses his static to make the green in his hair to go black, a black mask with a green spray paint jagged smile and holes for his eyes. He only lets one be visible at a time and the other is black.

-The nicknames for his Pokémon are: Luxray is Gamma, Toxtricity is Skrillex, Vikavolt is Beetleguise, Nidoking is Kaiju, Gengar is Mort and Naganadel is Mordred and Rotom is ED-E

-The scar we all know him for is still there and in this AU it was gotten when he was younger, more reckless and didn’t care who saw what he did trying to do what he felt was the right thing. It’s why he prefers not to be seen now.

-He can beat the elite four of most Regions if he wants too, but he doesn’t want to be tied down to one place like he knows he will be if he’s Champion. So he just moves when he gets all the badges, is currently exploring every inch of Galar as he pleases.

-He has a soft spot for kids and will give them advice with care for their Pokémon and won’t go too hard on them. And do not make a little kid cry or Arcues forbid hurt one around him or he will end you.

-He met Zekrom while transitioning through Unova to get to Alola through the airport. The dragon reached out to him with telepathy as Zekrom could sense him and was curious as Anti wasn’t like anyone else. Anti decided to stay a bit to talk with Zekrom and they became friends.

-Mewtwo was an intense meeting. Anti had decided to do some digging into an attempt of resurgence of Team Rocket in their home turf and also caught Kaiju whike he was there, and he heard rumors about the strong Legendary returning to it’s Region of birth. And he wanted to fight them just to see how strong they were. He didn’t mean his Pokémon either as he didn’t want to endanger them from Mewtwo’s psychic attacks, Anti knows how to kick someone’s butt without his Pokémon, so yes. He challenged Mewtwo to a direct fight.

-No, Anti has never claimed to be fully sane, why do you ask? XD

-The fight ended with Anti laying on the cave floor panting, but with a mile wide grin and Mewtwo was also a bit out of breath. Using telepathy Mewtwo congratulated Anti for being the first human to impress with both his bravery and his utter recklessness. And now the two meet up every so often to fight. Yes, Mewtwo has used both Mega Forms in said fights.

-Also yes, Anti’s Pokemon are very worried for their Trainer’s lack of self preservation. XD

-Raikou was met in a thunderstorm when he took shelter in a cave after he got lost in Alola. It was a very tense night as Anti wasn’t sure if the Legendary Beast was going to attack him or not because they didn’t tend to like many humans, but when Anti ended up passing out to get sleep, he woke to find Raikou had curled up around him with Gamma to keep him warm. Mort could only do so much as a ghost and didn’t want to make him colder. Yes, he got to pet Raikou and the roaming Legendary has very soft fur.

-Xurkitree was an interesting one, in Alola he’d heard about the Ultra Beasts but didn’t expect to find any as it had been a little while since they were first sighted and he assumed someone had already caught them. But apparently not as the living live wire ended up following him from the Memorial he stopped to pay respects at. Xurkitree was very affectionate despite Anti’s grumpy nature towards the constant attempts at hugs or cuddles, Anti figures it’s probably due to his static.

-Befriending Xurkitree was also how he met and caught Naganadel, then Poipole as the little poison type Ultra Beast ended up finding them both and was impressed with the strength of Anti’s other Pokémon and wanted to get that strong.

Because I kind of need something to keep my mind off of stressful things right now, what about Class 1A kids having Pokemon or Pokemon teams? What's your particular headcannons on them? This can also include Aizawa (who probably just has all cat Pokemon) and other Pro-Heroes.

POKEMON TEAMMS

i like to think that when they were good childhood friends, bkg and deku had pokemon - their first pokemon, both gifts - that represented each other. bakugou gets a shiny tangela, while deku gets a shiny poochyena. 

neither of these pokemon make it onto their proper teams (deku because the poochyena, now mightyena, stays home with inko, whilst the tangela is never evolved with bakugou hardly looking at it after they stop being friends)

i also like to think that theres some epic storyline or smth and towards the end, the two either catch or become good friends with the legendary pokemon, zacian (for deku, bc he needs to win to save - sword) and zamazenta (for bkg, bc he needs to save to win - shield)

deku would have a really balanced team, and wouldnt really limit himself - his final team is never set, and he can change out members very freely. he forms a very strong bond with all of them - of course, i love seeing him with more bunny-esque pokemon (scorbunny and buneary). but yeah, he wouldnt give himself a limit. he wouldnt stick to a select few types, and would have pokemon that have coverages across the board.

bakugou has to have a cyndaquil/typhlosion as his ‘proper’ starter. his pokemon would absolutely be more fiery - fire and fighting types with a few other scattered in there. he goes for hard-hitters with his team, but is strategic enough to make sure he covers the basics and types that his team is weak to. i’d also love to see him with a salandit.

uraraka would have either a team following a specific type (fighting/fairy/psychic) or pokemon that look cute but are beefy (for example, miltank and blissey). iida would have electric or steel, pokemon that are renowned for their speed. kirishima would have rock, possibly dragon as well, with his best pal being a sharpedo. kaminari, obviously, would have electric pokemon - but pikachu is boring, so i say give him something like jolteon, or even a raichu, and i think it would be cute if he had some bug pokemon.

ashido would have fairy and poison types. todoroki has a mixture of fire and ice, ojirou has ground/normal and sero and shouji both have flying types. hagakure sticks with pretty grass types that can sweep teams with sleep/poison/static powders. tokoyami would have dark and ghost types, his best partner being a corviknight.

and aizawa would absolutely have mostly cat pokemon. also bc i am weak for it, i would love for him to have something like a sylveon - a pokemon that is cute and requires friendship to level up, perhaps something that was his first partner before shirakumo died.

all might would also have a more rounded team, much like deku, but i think he would be more known for fighting types and uses them the most, he would absolutely have a machamp, a pangoro, and hawlucha and mienshao for fighting types that are a bit quicker. midnight would have a more psychic and poison-based team, while present mic would possibly have something like electric, or steel, or pokemon with other types that have sound based attacks - exploud and toxtricity. jirou would be similar, her partner being a noivern.

shigaraki would have a yamper, but apart from that i would have him parallel deku...he’s a gamer, so i think he would know all about having a really balanced team as well. maybe a team which would be stronger in terms of typings against deku’s main members...
