i fall in love too fast
kindergarden teacher!sana x fem!reader (remastered) ; part two; fluff
summary: your niece needs to stop watching so many romance movies because what the hell she's five and sana... well sana thinks she's crushing on someone's mother.
wc: 3.9k
warnings: mentions of food ; not proofreaddd
a few customers held you up, you were supposed to be in your car earlier, supposed to be at hana’s school early – but of course, someone had to order six drinks during a rush, keeping you at work for a few more minutes than you’d like.
once you make it to the car, you rush to startthe engine and get out your parking spot. tapping your finger on the steering wheel as you drive, you glance at the car's screen. the time reads '3:11 pm,' which means hana will be out in about four minutes. you make a guess that you'll arrive in a few minutes late. the worry that hana might be confused about where you are runs through your mind, but you convince yourself not to fret. after all, she's strong, and you know it – she’s your niece after all.
somehow you manage to make it to the entrance just before hana is supposed to be out. fiddling with the collar of your white button-up shirt that you still have on from work, you anxiously await for when the bell will ring, anticipating the kids to start spilling out of the entrance doors to reunite with their families – eagerly waiting to see hana again.
you check your watch, reading the 3:15 pm, and seconds later – the bell rings.
it was only a minute later that you started to see groups of kids being led out by various teachers. you scanned the area for a bit, thankful that your height allowed you to see over some of the parents' heads. finally, you spot your little niece standing with a group of kids, holding each other by the little hook-like fabric on top of their bags to stay connected.
amidst the sea of parents and children, your eyes also locked onto sana, effortlessly standing out even in the crowd of chaos. her gentle hand held that of a child at the front of the group, a caring smile gracing her features.
you made your way over to where hana stood, her eager eyes scanning the crowd until they finally landed on you. without hesitation, she dashed towards you, her arms outstretched in anticipation of the hug she knew was coming. for a five-year-old, her determination was astonishing, and the way she almost knocked you off balance was comparable to a linebacker (well, close enough. maybe a linebacker on the youth team). as she crashed into you with surprising force, you couldn't help but marvel at her energy, laughing, and wonder if she should consider joining a football team someday. yeah, definitely her dad’s genes.
"y/n!" her grin widened as she approached, and you quickly knelt down to her level, wrapping her in a warm hug. "i missed you, y/n!"
“hey, hi,” you feel her squeezing you tighter as you hug her, kissing the side of her head as you do. “i missed you too!” you greet happily, voice muffled a bit. pulling away, you brush some of her hair out of her face, hair looking a little more ruffled than this morning. “seem’s like someone had a fun day at school.”
“so much fun! today ms. minatozaki let us paint and! and! she gave me more stickers for being good! they're sharks too!” the little girl beams, making you smile. “and then we had recess and i played a lot and ran a lot and– oh! ms. minatozaki said i was good today!”
you laugh. “is that so?”
“yes! does this mean we can go to the cafe? please? i was good i promise.” hana pleads, tugging at your rolled sleeve.
huming as you think to yourself, you her teacher in the corner of your eye. “hmm, we’ll have to ask ms. minatozaki to make sure, won’t we?” you’re really just saying that as an excuse to talk to your niece's teacher again.
you steal a glance at sana, who is smiling and waving to a set of parents, the dad carrying their child on his shoulders. her eyes sparkle with surprise and delight as they meet yours, her cheeks gradually tinting a shade of pink. unaware of her reaction, you remain lost in admiration as you stare.
sana bids a final goodbye to the parents and the kid before you and your niece make your way over to her.
"hana, hello there, sweetie," sana greets your niece warmly. then, her gaze shifts to you, her smile widening even further. "it's wonderful to see you again, y/n," she adds, her words sending a warm flutter through your chest, your heart skipping a beat.
she still looks as beautiful as she did in the morning, maybe even prettier. that voice of hers is still soft and sweet when she greets you with joy; her face lights up the same way.
"it's wonderful to see you too,"
without thinking, you straighten your shirt and adjust your pleated pants to appear more presentable. a smile graces both your lips and sana's. a brief silence ensues as you lock eyes with each other, and you feel a warmth rising in your ears, gradually spreading to your cheeks like a small fire.
trying to clear the tension, you clear your throat and tug at your collar, then respond, “how was hana today?”
hana looks up at her teacher with hopeful, puppy eyes, silently pleading for a positive response. sana chuckles softly to herself, amused by hana's adorable expression.
“she was great today, and really helpful too,” sana assures, earning a sigh of relief from hana.
“is that so?” you question – sana hums in response.
“she helped me put the paintbrushes back, as well as the markers. she’s a sweet girl, big help.” sana explains.
hana tugs at your hand, “i told you! i told you i was good! so can we go to the cafe? please?”
chuckling again, you nod at the little girl, then bring your gaze back to the woman in front of you.
“i guess we should get going then…” you begin, your gaze tearing away from sana reluctantly to look back down at the girl beside you. “why don’t you say bye to your teacher, hana?”
hana nods and you watch as sana crouches down to meet the girl's level, placing a hand on her head before sliding it down to the girls cheek. hana puts her smaller hand on sana’s before she hugs her, and for a moment you think to yourself: gosh, i wish that were me.
sana parts from hana, standing back up and fixing loose hair that falls over her face. you steal another glance at the young teacher before hana goes back to you to hold your hand and tug you away.
the last look you and sana share has this weird sense of longing, there’s an unspoken desire to get to know each other more, to maybe get a few extra minutes to, well, maybe just stare at each other’s faces until someone decides to say something.
but then, letting go, you finally wave to her with a smile, and she shoots you and your niece a toothy grin “goodbye.”
-
"alright, time to head home," you announce, grabbing hana's tiny school bag and placing it in the front seat. after securing her in the car seat, you close the door and settle into the driver's seat.
with a turn of the key, the engine roars to life, but before you can even back up, hana beams, buckle up!”
“of course, i wouldn’t forget the most important step.”
a jazz favorite from months ago begins to play after you hit shuffle on one of the playlists you made with your niece. adjusting the volume to create a soft background melody, you listen along as hana starts to hum along.
you pull into your regular spot by the side of the cafe and turn off the engine. grabbing hana's bag from the passenger seat, you step out of the car and hold the door to the backseats open for her to hop out. her eyes light up at the sight of the cafe's exterior, and she wastes no time in darting towards the entrance.
“hana wait! be careful!” you call out, hurriedly shutting the door and fumbling with the keys to lock your car before running after the excited five-year-old.
entering the cafe, you're greeted by the familiar and inviting atmosphere. the air carries the aroma of freshly baked pastries mingled with the rich scent of espresso shots being pulled. the cozy ambiance of the cafe envelops you both, lifting both your spirits.
thankfully, it’s not too busy at the moment. you spot a few adults in their work clothing sitting and chatting at the table for four near the window, sipping on their drinks – looks like a couple of lattes and americanos. the dim corner to the right is lit up by a small lamp hanging from above, occupied by a few high school students laughing. they seem to be treating themselves to a small cake, a little candle is at the side – probably for someone's birthday.
you scan the area, shifting your look over to where the familiar baker and barista are. the baker notices you and stops what she’s doing to wave happily.
“ah, y/n! you’re back, did you miss me that much?” dahyun jokes, “oh, and you brought my favorite customer too.” she adds, redirecting her gaze to meet hana. hana gives the dark-haired woman a big, gummy, and toothy smile before going to hug the woman as she walks out from behind the counter.
“ms. dahyun! today was my first day of school! my teacher says i was great!” hana boasts, and dahyun laughs before ruffling her hair up a bit.
“wow, i’m impressed. hmm… maybe i should give you the special treat i prepared then.”
“please please please please please please-”
“alright, alright. a special treat for my favorite customer coming up! my favorite new student.” dahyun says cheerfully. the shorter woman heads behind the counter, and you lift hana onto the chair near the counter.
you make your way behind the counter as well, right over to where the taller barista works. he’s busy measuring the coffee grinds for an espresso shot, furrowing his brows as he takes a small portion of the ground coffee out from the portafilter.
“chaemin,”
he jumps a little and you laugh teasingly.
“my god! don’t do that!”
“oops.” you shrug. “can i steam some milk real quick? i need to make something for my niece.”
“you’re giving espresso to a five-year-old?” chaemin asks, visibly concerned. he turns his body to you fully, raises his brows, and looks down at you in disbelief.
“of course not, she’s already a handful without the caffeine. i’m just gonna make her a hot chocolate.”
“i see, okay. good.” he says before bringing his attention back to the portafilter and tamping the coffee grinds. “by the way, where’s johnny? i thought he would be the one taking hana to school – or picking her up – you know, since he's her dad and all.”
“he wanted to, but he had this last-minute business trip. the way he complained in person and over the phone was… rough – but he’ll be back in two days.”
“i see.”
you and chaemin continue to engage in some small talk about whether it was busy or anything while you were gone for those few minutes while you make the hot chocolate.
dahyun has already given the giddy five-year-old her cream-filled croissant with a variety of fruits inside, along with a drizzle of milk chocolate syrup on top.
dahyun pushes the plate toward the girl. “i made it just for you, i even added extra strawberries and chocolate since you like them so much.”
“ms. dahyun you’re the best! it looks really yummy! thank you thank you thank you!” she says excitedly, then dahyun pats her shoulder.
“anything for the young scholar.”
“you never make me anything like that.” you mumble as you make a design with the steamed milk and chocolate.
“you’re not a scholar, y/n. you lack a lot up there actually.” she jokes, poking you right in the forehead.
“ouch.” you respond, looking at her with a pout and setting down the hot chocolate with the heart design you made with the steamed milk. hana smiles, looking at the drink and pastry eagerly, but just as she is about to dig in–
“phone eats first.” you halt her actions, forcing her to pose and smile for the family group chat. she groans in response before dahyun encourages her to grin for the camera, giving her a thumbs up.
you sit beside hana and watch her eat while you hold your head in your palm, smiling at her. dahyun goes back to rolling whatever dough she was working on before, and you scroll through the family group chat, texting your brother and mom.
“these are so good, thank you aunt y/n,” hana says with a mouth full of the croissant.
“you should thank dahyun for that, but i’m glad you like them. also, don’t talk while you have so much food in your mouth!” you scold playfully before taking a sip of the iced americano chaemin had made you. hana sticks her tongue out at you and you pinch her nose lightly, making the two of you laugh.
hana gulps down the bite she had just chewed up, then mumbles, “aunt y/n, can i ask you something?”
you raise a brow. “what is it?”
“do you… do you like my teacher?”
“oh, of course. she’s sweet and takes good care of you, i’m fond of her. she seems great.” you answer before taking another sip of your coffee.
“no, do you like like her? like in the movies? the lovey dovey ones where they kiss–”
“w-what? why- where did this come from?” you question, sitting straight up. hana’s directness nearly makes you choke on your coffee. chaemin overhears the conversation and his eyes land on the two of you.
“you like your niece's teacher?” he says in disbelief, a hand on his hip and a brow raised. you look at your co-worker and then back to your niece, waving your hand to shut down these bold (but pretty reasonable) allegations.
“no, no – it’s not like that,” you start, trying to keep your voice and tone relaxed. chaemin and the little girl don’t seem to be fooled. “she’s just nice, we’re just friendly. she’s your teacher, of course i’m going to be friendly with her.”
“ok, then why did you look at her like that? you looked all lovey-dovey and your ears turned red!”
“oh? what is this i’m hearing?” dahyun interjects, which earns her a glare from you before you look back at your niece.
“i- no, it’s not like that! we just met hana, don’t be ridiculous.” you say defensively, and then hana’s smile grows, it makes you uneasy.
“your ears are turning red again, just like in those cartoons and movies!”
“what movies are you watching? you’re like, five! shouldn’t you be watching some normal cartoons? like something with mermaids or superheroes or something?” you groan, growing more defensive as dahyun and chaemin team up with hana to poke at you.
you roll your eyes at them, but the thought of sana tugs at your heartstrings.
you don't buy into the idea of love at first sight; it seems too simplistic, too much like something out of a disney movie. however, you can't deny the impact the woman who will be teaching your daughter every day has had on you. she’s shot an arrow through your heart just like cupid.
she’s undeniably beautiful, but it's more than just that. you find yourself thinking about her infectious smile, her contagious smile, and the way her nose scrunches up when she does both. the memory of her holding your hand when you greeted her lingers in your mind, even as you're teased and poked fun at by those around you. god, you’ve just met her.
you won’t admit it outloud, but this woman did have an effect on you, and you were scared that it would be harder to hide that the more you saw her.
“look, i just think she’s a nice person okay,” you shrug, and then you begin (or at least try) to change the topic. “anyways… how was your first day of school? what else did you do?”
dahyun laughs at your attempt to change the subject and decides to give you a break by returning to what she was doing. she shoots chaemin a cheeky look, which you ignore, choosing instead to focus all your attention on hana.
“it was great! you were right y/n, i made a friend! her name is jiyeong, she’s taller than me by this much,” hana shows you the height difference by pinching her fingers down, except there’s an inch of space in between. “also,” hana begins, “ms. minatozaki read us a story, she’s super nice. she smiled and laughed a lot, she smiles like a princess. she kind of looks like one." hana adds, and you certainly agree with that statement. hana thinks to herself a bit, then adds her final remark, "she also helped everyone with their paintings, she’s so cool! i like her a lot.”
you grin at the girl and take her empty plate, pushing it to the other side of the counter for chaemin to take.
“i’m really glad you made a friend, i told you my genes were passed on to you!” you mess with her hair. “and i’m glad you like ms. minatozaki, it’s important that you have nice and caring teachers.”
“and pretty teachers too, right?” she teases, and you laugh, messing with her hair once more.
“alright smarty pants, finish up your hot chocolate so we can get going.” you sigh, rolling your eyes playfully before walking behind the counter to wash hana’s dish.
-
“how was work?” jihyo asks.
she backs her car out of the parking spot in front of the school. sana has never been one to drive herself, always relying on the bus or getting a ride from a friend. however, this year she's in luck, since she'll likely be getting regular rides home from both her best friend and the mother of one of her students – one of the best drivers of the century.
sana sighs and smiles, then sets her head down against the headrest of the passenger seat. “it was really good, the students are all great. your daughter did well too.”
jihyo smiles upon hearing this. “i’m glad jiyeong was good,” then she looks at her daughter through the mirror. “jiyeong, sweetheart, how was school?”
“good mom! i had lots of fun and ms. minatozaki is really nice! i made a new friend too.” the little girl in the backseat responds. “her name is hana, she’s cool and nice and funny and i like her a lot. we promised to be best friends this year!”
sana tenses up at the mention of hana, and she thinks of the girl’s captivating mother–you. sana starts to zone out whilst jihyo talks with her daughter, and she really just thinks about you. she replays the memory of shaking your hand–big, soft, nice to hold, the small peak of ink under your wrist, the bracelets, and wow she is a mess from just the interaction–and about your cheery grin, as well as your caring nature. the look you had given her this morning replays in her head, the small dimple you had, how perfect your teeth were, and the sparkle of your eyes as you looked at sana.
she daydreams of you the whole way back to her place, pushing aside the fact that you’re a mother, probably not single considering how charming and cute you are.
her heart sinks a little at the thought of that, and she tells herself to compose herself, there are always others, right? other fish in the sea?
(but none that were as cute as you.)
"alright, we're here. say bye to your teacher jiyeong." jihyo insists, adjusting the gear stick so the car is parked in front of the apartment complex. sana smiles at jihyo and steps out of the car, closing the door behind her. she waves at jihyo and her daughter through the window.
“thank you ms. minatozaki! see you tomorrow!”
“bye jiyeong, i hope you have a good night. you too, jihyo, thank you again.”
“it’s no problem, your place is on the way to our house anyway, have a good night sha.”
jihyo waves once more before rolling the passenger seat window up and driving away. sana clutches her work back and starts to walk towards her apartment.
the young teacher unlocks the apartment door and sets her bag on the hook to the right of the door. with a sigh, she kicks off her shoes, feeling the weight of the day starting to lift. as she moves into the kitchen, she finds herself drawn to the familiar routine of making a cup of tea. it's a comforting ritual, one that helps her unwind and transition from the demands of her day to the peace of her home. kids are amazing, wonderful, and adorable–but they’re also draining, very draining.
she leans against the counter in her work clothes, staring at the cup in her hand.
the thought of you reaches back, invading her mind, her.
you’re cute, you’re effortlessly cute with everything you do. sana thinks of the first glance, remembering how bells started to ring and imaginary petals started to fall after she made eye contact and– god she needs to stop watching those stupid dramas jihyo keeps reccomending her because they’re starting to turn her into some hopeless romantic. this can’t be, it’s only been one day, hell, not even an hour of being in the same room of you.
sana feels her cheeks warming up, cursing herself mentally.
you’re a mother, whether that be biologically or not, you’re a mother. it would (most likely–well, very_ unprofessional to pursue someones mother, especially if you have a husband or anything like that. she can’t pine over someone who’s taken, not again, she’s learned from her junior in high school already, she can’t possibly live through that again.
sana sighs, pinches the bridge of her nose. “i really have to talk to jihyo about this.”
taking out her phone, she finds jihyo’s contact and pauses, letting out another small sigh. the thought of having to navigate through the year while constantly encountering your pretty face and charming personality fills her with a mix of apprehension and anticipation. there's a part of her that can't help but look forward to the interactions and moments shared even if you’re taken.
(it’s not like she can’t control how she feels, so if she’s able to at least hide it–then that should be fine.
–
right?)
she clicks on the little phone icon, and after a few rings, it's answered by jihyo. the sound of her voice comes through the line, accompanied by the faint background noise of what seems like the opening of a door.
"sana? hello? what is it? everything okay?”
"jihyo."
jihyo blinks, letting her daughter into the house before answering in a slightly concerned tone, "yes?"
“on a scale of one 1-10–and be honest–how wrong is it to have a crush on your students' mother?”

Asphalt 8 Keyboard Controls
One of the biggest names in mobile gaming, Gameloft, has released a new street racing game called Asphalt Street Storm Racing. The game is currently available only for iOS devices, and to give you a brief recap of what this game is about, this is a racing game where you can race against AI drivers in campaign mode, or against human drivers in traditional one-on-one drag races or four-person races with especially high stakes. You can choose from a variety of different real-life cars, each of them placed in one of four tiers, and add to your collection as you keep on playing and keep on winning. You can also place bets when racing against real people, and you may even have to deal with the elements – heat, rain, and even snow, all included in this game.
There is a technique for this certain problem. First, you have to press the down key, which activates the drift. Then, carefully press the left and right arrow keys to stabilize the car and prevent it from being pulled out of the drift. Whenever you encounter a turn, press the corresponding arrow to drift through the turn. Asphalt 8: Airborne: 2013: Asphalt Overdrive. Control settings for keyboards. Keyboard buttons for Touchdrive mode. Keyboard buttons for manual mode.
There’s a lot of depth in this game, and a lot of things you’ll need to do if you want to complete the campaign mode and defeat more human opponents. So if you’re trying to win more consistently, earn more currency, and perform the right upgrades, read on, as we present to you our exclusive Asphalt Street Storm Racing strategy guide. We’ve got a good 15 tips in here, all designed for beginners to intermediate players, and we’ve also got an advanced strategy guide coming soon, which you’ll want to watch out for within the next few days.
1. How To Get Off To A Perfect Start
The first thing the game will teach you is how to start your car and launch it the right way. Don’t mind the seemingly difficult tutorial – it is a bit tricky to get your car going in the tutorial stage, but once you actually start racing, it shouldn’t be too hard. Just like you may have done in other racing games, your goal is to make sure the needle on the speedometer is within the green window, or as close to it as possible if you aren’t able to time things perfectly. But that’s where the similarities end, as you’ll need to do a few other things in order to launch your car past the starting line.
On the lower left you’ll see a brake-shaped button that would allow you to start or stop your car, and on the lower right, you’ll see a pedal that you’ll have to tap on as you wait for the light to turn green. Tapping on the left button will start your car, and if you jump the gun, you will automatically lose the race. But you don’t have to wait until the light turns green before hitting the left button; if you want to get the best start possible, you should a) make sure the speedometer needle is in the green, and b) hit the left button once the counter is at “1.” That should allow you to break past the starting line at the right moment, and hopefully get an early edge versus your opponent.
2. Perfect Shifts Are Almost As Important
Having a perfect start is the best way to ensure yourself of the win. But it’s also important that you shift gears once the needle is in the green, and not anytime sooner or later. Perfect shifts may be the difference between maintaining your lead and losing it, or between catching up or falling further back, so be sure you’re gunning for them at all times when shifting gears.
3. When Should You Use Your Nitro?
Just like any good racing game should, Asphalt Street Storm Racing allows you to outfit your ride with nitrous oxide. This gives your car a short burst of speed for a limited number of seconds, and mileage tends to vary as far as timing is concerned; should you use it when shifting from second to third, or from third to fourth gear? We would suggest that you use it when shifting from second to third, as that would allow you less time in between shifts as opposed to choosing the latter option. Activate your NO2 at the right time and you’ll have a better chance of improving your final time and winning the race.
4. Keep Watching Those Ad Videos For More Cash
Cash is the game’s common currency, and it’s the resource you need to buy upgrades and buy new cars, among other things. Now you can win cash simply by winning more races and playing the game like you normally would, but one easy way to win more cash without exerting much effort is to watch the ad videos. The main menu comes with an option (“Watch Ads”) that allows you to do just that – pull up advertisement videos and earn some quick cash once you’re done. You’ll only win $300 per video watched, but as long as you keep watching the videos when they’re available, that’s going to add up over time.
5. Upgrade Your Ride
Speaking of upgrades, you’re going to have to regularly head to the main menu and click on the second button on the bottom part of the screen. That’s the Upgrades button, and unlike other racing games that keep things simple and only offer one type of engine upgrade, one type of transmission upgrade, etc. across several levels, Asphalt Street Storm Racing has multiple upgrade branches per part, and more parts than your usual racing game for mobile. The good thing here, however, is that the upgrades are quite affordable, especially early on.
6. Make Your Car As Balanced As Possible
The game suggests this in the early goings, and it’s something you’re going to have to go by to ensure greater chances of victory , as upgrades get your car’s horsepower, torque, and/or overall rating up, thus making you more competitive as the opposition ramps up. But you should also make sure that your upgrades are as balanced as possible; prioritizing engine upgrades too much will make your car harder to control, with wheelspin becoming more and more of an issue. Prioritizing tire upgrades too much will conversely hamper you as you won’t have the speed to power past your opponents. Keep things balanced, just as the game recommends; in the end, it’s your car’s overall rating that would count the most anyway.
7. Connect Your Game To Facebook
Gems are the game’s premium currency, and you will be rewarded with 35 free gems once you start playing for the first time. But you should also make it a point to connect your game to Facebook once you get the chance. This is going to allow you to do a number of things in Asphalt Street Storm Racing – you can add friends to the game, save your progress regardless of what happens, and with this tip in mind, earn another 50 free gems.
8. The Do’s And Don’ts Of Spending Gems
Gems, in case you’re wondering, can be used to purchase cars, but can mainly be used to buy deliveries, which may contain car blueprints (you’ll need to complete the required collection of blueprints to unlock the cars in question), decals, and other nice freebies. Marcus and millichap training manuals pdf. If you have the option to buy a car with cash, we suggest choosing the cash option, and not the gems option, as we’d say they’re best spent on buying those deliveries, which come in three tiers based on the quality of the contents – bronze, silver, and gold.
The biggest don’t of spending gems should be pretty easy for anyone who’s played street racing games on mobile before – you should NOT spend gems on speeding up an upgrade or car repair! The game will often give you the option to spend some gems to expedite things and get the upgrade or repair done immediately, but we’d suggest waiting, rather than wasting a few gems on a speed-up.
9. Log In To The Game Every Day
Once you receive your first reward for logging in, you will see a list of goodies you can win for each consecutive day you log in. These would include free cash, gems, and even free cars – all yours if you spend even just a minute or two logged in per day, or even less. You don’t even have to take part in the races; just load up the game and it will be counted toward the daily login bonuses. But take note that if you fail to log in for one day, you’ll be back to square one, and will have to start your daily login streak from the top.
10. Complete Your Daily Tasks
On the upper right of your screen, you’ll see three buttons, including the one in the middle that has a calendar icon. These are your daily tasks, and these include three that will get you some free cash if you complete them; these may include having a certain number of perfect starts or perfect shifts, challenging a specific number of human opponents, etc. Complete all those tasks and you’ll earn some gems for free – it won’t be much, but again, it can add up as you complete these dailies.
11. Complete Achievements Too
Click on your player avatar on the top left of your screen and once you’re on your player menu, you’ll see the Achievements button, which shows you a number of things you can complete by naturally playing the game – it may be betting a certain amount of money, completing a campaign chapter, or any other thing tracked from the time you started playing the game. Rewards for completing achievements are more substantial than the ones you can win for completing the daily tasks – these include deliveries (bronze, silver, and gold crates alike), gems, as well as substantial cash rewards.
12. Keep On Grinding It Out For More Upgrade Money
The amount of money you can win by challenging human opponents and emerging victorious can be insignificant compared to the prize money you can win in campaign races. But if you’re at a point where your car isn’t powerful enough to win against the AI opponents in campaign, you can always keep racing against human opponents. It’s only going to be a couple hundred dollars tops in most cases, but it’s better than nothing, and it’s not like you’ll be losing those races anyway. Based on what we’ve seen, a lot of the human opponents tend to have weaker cars, so unless your awareness is completely off, beating them should be a walk in the park.
13. To Bet Or Not To Bet?
Asphalt Street Storm Racing allows players to place bets when racing against human opponents, but it’s not always a good idea to place one. As we’ve seen, weaker rivals always fold and chicken out of the race when they decide not to bet anything while you, as their opponent, bet even just a hundred dollars. The best time to place a bet would be if you’re up against a comparable opponent who actually bets something; otherwise, you’ll be picking up a ton of unsatisfying forfeit wins over guys who had actually folded, and decided against racing you.
14. The 1 Vs. 3 Races
Want a great opportunity to win a ton of prize money? Try competing in the 1 vs. 3 races. Your first one will be on the house, and will be extremely easy to win, but once you’ve completed that tutorial 1 vs. 3 race, your opponents will be real players, and you’ll need to contribute a few thousand dollars or so toward the prize pot in order to join. And if you quit after joining, or if your iPhone as much as goes on standby while waiting for the race to begin, your contribution will be gone forever.
We would completely recommend these races if you’ve got several (and not just a few) thousand bucks on you, though we’ve observed that a lot of 1 vs. 3 races don’t push forward because nobody else wants to sign up to them. You’ll also need a formidable set of wheels to guarantee you the best chances of winning the prize money, which would be everyone’s contributions to the pot combined. So if the required contribution is $5,000, that’s a cool $20,000, all yours, provided you finish in first place!
15. A Brief Overview Of Fame And Followers
Asphalt 8 Keyboard Controls Not Working
Asphalt Street Storm Racing has a couple of interesting mechanics we don’t often get to see in mobile street racing games – each human driver has a Fame rating, and a Followers count. Fame is accumulated each time you win a race in campaign mode – beating AI opponents, in other words – and with more Fame, you can unlock more in-game features, such as the Champions Clash, which requires 950 Fame in order to unlock. As for Followers, you gain more by beating real players, and lose some in turn if you’re beaten by those human opponents.

2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe: First Look — Cars.com
youtube
for years now German brands have been playing kind of fast and loose with theidea of what is actually a coupe and my mind coops are two door vehicles but alot of the German brands have said now coupes can also be forward to ourvehicles like this one this is the new 2019 Mercedes AMG GTfour-door now let’s get one thing straight right off the bat it is not alonger larger version of the GT two-door it actually sits on a completelydifferent platform underneath this actually shares more in common with thee63 wagon and now you’re saying yourself now wait a minute if this thing reallyis more 63 wagon than GT two-door where do they get off calling it a coupe wellin my mind there’s a couple of qualifications you have to have in orderto really be called a coupe and does this thing have them well let me takeyou through it the first qualification for being called a coupe in my mind isthat it really has to look the part this thing really does from the super lowback end with the slim taillights and the hatchback to the frameless windowson the doors to the low front end with the headlights and the grille that looka lot like the AMG GT two-door I think that this is probably one of the closestexecutions to an actual four-door coupe that I’ve yet seen second qualificationfor being a proper sport coupe is it has to have the power this one mostcertainly does there are three power trains coming for the AMG GT four-doorfirst as a 3 litre twin turbo inline 6 made it up to a mild hybrid system andthe second powertrain is a 4 litre twin-turbo v8 in two different forms nowthe 63 and the 63s are the more performance models the 63s that we seehere is 630 horsepower and goes 0 to 60 in what mercedes says is about 3 secondsconservatively it may actually be a little bit less than that they’re sayingall that power gets to the ground through a standard all-wheel drivesystem but it’s a rear biased all-wheel drive system and in the 63s like thisone you can actually shunt a hundred percent of that power to the rear wheelsin a kind of drift mode which is great for scaring the in-laws on the way todinner the third element of a proper sportscoupe is that it has to look the part inside as well and this one again Ithink fits the bill now most sports coupes the two doors anyway don’t havemuch in the way of a backseat for people if they have one at all the 4-door coupedo and this one actually has a pretty good back seat there’s plenty of legroomthere’s plenty Headroom as well and you may have somesmaller side windows because of the low roof but this really isn’t the penaltybox at all even the fact that it has a moon roof doesn’t impact that much therear headroom now you can only get these in a four seat model in the US you canget a five seater internationally but if you want a five seat four-door coupe inthe United States Mercedes but instead I’d like to show you the CLS up front itlooks much more like an AMG GT two-door than the e-class on which it’s based nowthe upper part of the – yeah there is some eClass influence there but look atthe center console this is directly influenced by the two-door coupe modelit’s wide it’s got a very similar style to it the shifter is the same as welland this one now features the new trackpad instead of the rotary knobMercedes did away with the rotary knob for its multimedia system and we’re notentirely sure we like that yet but we’ll let you know as soon as we get toactually drive one and test them you’ve also got reconfigurable buttons here andthere the screens that you see on the center console light up when you startthe car and the steering wheel itself has two light-up screens as well on theright it’s always going to be your drive mode on the leftit’s a reconfigurable hotkey so maybe you get in the car every time and youturn on the super loud exhaust because you like everyone to know what youbought well on the left you can actually key this hotkey to activate the exhaustat the touch of a button whenever you get in so is this thing a proper sportscoupe you know what two doors or four doors I’m kind of tired of fighting thisbattle I would call this thing a proper coupe a sports coupe even now isn’tthere another four-door coupe in the mercedes-benz lineup and yes there isthe CLS class is also called a four-door coupe but Mercedes thinks that there’sroom for two of those in the lineup just like there are two to do our drop topsin their lineup the SL class and the AMG GT two-door convertible as well theyhave different missions this one has a different mission than the CLS as wellthe CLS is more about luxury this one skews much more towards the sports endof the spectrum there’s no pricing yet announced for this thing but Mercedestells me that if you look at the Porsche Panamera Turbo that is pretty close towhat you’re going to be looking at for one of these when they arrive later thisyear and when they do arrive later this year we’ll bring it all for you atcars. comyou

Top Gun on the Intrepid
It's Fleet Week in New York City!
Once ayear, military ships fill the harbor as servicemen and womenare given a week to come onshore and enjoy everything they miss while at sea. Us New Yorkers are a welcoming bunch, planning events, ceremonies and parties to celebrate their service to our country (and give them a week to remember)!
On Friday my friends and I headed over to the Hudson River to see all of the docked ships.
But there was oneship in particular we were looking for:
The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum plans several Fleet Week events, and we were going to the best one: a free showing of the movie Top Gun on its flight deck.
How cool is that?!
The line for the film starts at 5pm on the upper walkway, they let you into the Intrepid at 7pm, and the show starts when it gets dark enough to see the screen.
Welearned these things the hard way.
I had called earlier in the week to find out when we should arrive, since I knew it was a popular event and in past years Ihadfriends who arrived to the line too late to be let in.The woman I spoke with at the information desk told me the line usually begins at 2pm, and if you don't arrive before 5pm you probably won't get in. She also stressed that no one would be allowed to cut the line, so the group had to get in line at the same time to be together.
So I put the fear of God into my friends, and we arrived at 4:30pm to see no line, and worse, the employees weren't even sure where they would be putting the line! So we waited around until finally at 5pm they decided to startthe line on the upper walkway. Luckily most of my friends (ahem Kendall) were nice about it and didn't give me too hard of a time for making them get there so early! Also, Olivia was running late, and she was able to walk right up to us and join us. Now I wouldn't recommend doing that with 15 people, because they're bound to notice that, but if it's just one person arriving later they should be able to join your party in line.
Here we are, the very first ones in line:
If you're a museum member you can reserve two tickets and receive priority admission, so their line was somewhere else. While I wouldn't necessarily recommend paying the $100 membership fee just for this movie event, if you already are a member you should absolutely reserve your tickets. Then you won't have to arrive as early as we did!
Another option ifdon't want to wait in line (or if you aren't my friend and therefore ended up at the back of the line) is totake a guided tour. These tours begin at 6:00pm and are $20 for adults. Afterwards you're allowed to stake out your spot on the flight deck before the crowd is let in, so for $20 you can also end up with priority seating. We figured since we were atthe front of the line we were good, so we declined to do the tour.
You're allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks to the Intrepid movie screenings, but we were too hungry to wait until we got on board to start eating! So our picnic began in line (and continued during the movie)!
At7pmwe were allowed to board the Intrepid.
It was exciting!
You can bring blankets and chairs to sit on, and everyone beganclaiming spots on the flight deck among the planes.
While we were waiting I toldmy friends the plane elevator story. They were impressed I guess my dad was right!
Before the movie aveteran spoke who used to be a Navy pilot. His flight instructor was actually the pilot who filmed the flight scenes in Top Gun (he was the one flying the planeupside down over the other plane while giving the pilot below the middle finger)! It was fun hearing his stories and his favorite parts of the film.
Then it was time to get comfortable: Top Gun was about to start!
I can't tell you how cool it was watching the opening scene of the movie, where the planes are taking off of an aircraft carrier, while sitting on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. The only thing that would have made it more amazing is if the movie had been in 3D!
My favorite scene in Top Gunalways reminds me of my brother. We were driving in the car one day after he becamea Navy pilot, and he popped in a CD of the song You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling. He told me it was mandatory that he knew every word if he wanted to be a real pilot, so we listened to it over and over again, singing along until we both had it memorized.
Guess I can be a Navy pilot too now!
I had seen the movie dozens of times as a kid, since it's one of our family's favorites. It was a new experience watching it as an adult. When I was little I thought Maverick was so badass, and watching it now I couldn't help think,Yes actually he is pretty reckless, and that's dangerous!
Whenmy second favorite scene came on I made Kendallsit up so she could fully see the screen. I'm such a good friend!
Watching Top Gun on the Intrepidwas an incredibleexperience, and it was made even more special when the movie ended and we turned around to see the Empire State Building lit up in red, white and blue in honor of our military.
As Vickie said, it was fleet week on fleek.
While you can't see Top Gun again this summer (the Intrepid only shows it once a year on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend), the museum does offer other free movies on its flight deck. You can find the full summer schedule here.
I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day, and that you took a moment to remember what the day truly represents. We don't know them all, but we owe them all.

Sponges get pretty grungy a lot of times they’re gross before they’re actually worn out.
You can use salt to refresh and clean your sponges; instead of buying new sponges, just try this hack instead!
To bring your sponges back to life, soak them overnight in a cold saltwater solution: 1/4 cup of salt per quart of water.
Uses For Salt #3: Clean Drains
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
Salt is incredible when it comes to sink and bathtub drains.
To freshen up your garbage disposal, dump 1/2 cup salt down the drain, then startthe disposal while running cold water. The salt will get rid of odors and dislodge anything stuck in the disposal.
To open hair-clogged bathtub or shower drains, mix together 1 cup salt, 1 cup baking soda, and 1/2 cup white vinegar.
After pouring the mixture down the drain, wait ten minutes, then pour 1/2 gallon of boiling water down the drain. Then run hot water until the drain is clear.
Uses For Salt #4: Remove Lipstick Stains
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
After a nice night of hanging with the gals, you’re sure to find annoying lipstick stains all over your wine glasses.
Sometimes those sticky, waxy lipstick stains refuse to come off, even with soap, so you find yourself scrubbing them endlessly.
For a quick fix, sprinkle some salt onto the lipstick, then rub gently with your fingers the lipstick will come right off!
Uses For Salt #5: Clean Artificial Flowers
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
Artificial flowers are great for sprucing up the decor around your home, but nothing makes them look more noticeably fake than dust collecting on their leaves and petals.
Quickly bring your artificial flowers back to life by placing them in a bag with some salt and shaking them around.
Uses For Salt #6: De-Ice Windows
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
Because salt lowers water’s freezing point, it can help keep your windows and windshields ice- and frost-free.
Dip a sponge or cloth into saltwater, wipe down your window, then let it dry.
This simple hack will help keep your windows and car windshields clear during the cold winter months.
Uses For Salt #7: Clean Greasy Pans
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
Greasy pans seem almost impossible to clean no matter how much soap you use, it seems like there’s always a little bit of grease left on the pan.
Instead of spending all your time washing and rewashing your pans, scrub your greasy pans with salt before washing it with soap or dishwasher detergent.
Uses For Salt #8: Deodorize Cutting Boards
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
If you’ve ever noticed that your cutting boards have a weird smell even after you wash them, this hack will change that.
After washing your cutting board with soap and water, rub it down with a damp cloth dipped in saltwater.
Uses For Salt #9: Refresh Overcooked Coffee
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
There’s nothing worse than waking up in the morning, turning on your coffee pot, and letting it go just a little too long.
Burnt or overcooked coffee can get your day off to a rough start, so bring your coffee back to life with a little salt.
You might think putting salt into your coffee sounds crazy, but put just a tiny pinch of salt into your coffee you might be surprised at how much better it tastes.
Uses For Salt #10: Remove Things Melted Onto Iron
Janine Ngai for LittleThings
If you’ve ever taken your iron out and noticed that there’s something melted onto its metal soleplate, you’re not alone.
The melted item seems impossible to remove and it creates a rough, bumpy surface that’s no good for ironing.
To fix this problem, turn your iron onto high and lay down some newspaper on your ironing board. Sprinkle some salt onto the newspaper, then run your hot iron over the salt.
Are there any cool salt hacks we missed?

Performthis until the point that he becomes too smart tofall for it again. By then his health should below enough so that you can run out and keepshooting while strafing. After you have gotten hishealth down all the way there will be aintermission sequence. Look at your compass at thebottom of the screen. He is the red dot. Find himand he will run at you. Run, but keep firing athim with your pistols and he will blow up.
Animal Locations
If any of these animals are not there, look around the surrounding area. If they still do not appear, go to the farthest away town (Empire or Dodge) and return.
Gray Wolf: Near the bridge in Dodge. White Buffalo: Near the mine (not Magruder's). It roams with the other buffalo. White Wolf: Near Piper lake, usually by the waterfall. Mountain Lion: Go to where Magruder's mine is located. Stand at it with your back to it. To your left is the train tunnel, and to your right is the path to the Indian hunter. Go through the middle path and it should be through there.Great Wolf: Same place the White Buffalo was, usually behind the mine. Grizzly: Near Empire. The map will show you its location. You do not have to use an arrow to kill him.
