"--So were you actually planning on telling me?" Marcus stood his ground, trying to conceal his anger as he stood in the hallway, small white envelope decorated with gold calligraphy in his hand. He shook his hand ever so slightly, drawing the other's attention to the opened letter as his face gave away just how serious, hurt and angry he actually was. "Because when your boyfriend met me out shopping the other day, he was totally surprised that I didn't know. But I mean, I guess, why would I know, right? When I was having sex with his - unbeknownst to me - fiancée that same day, and she was telling me she was leaving him." His volume rose with growing anger, and he just tossed the enveloped - an addressed card to the pair's engagement party - down to her floor, turning toward the door. "Don't count on my RSVP. So, it's been nearly a month since he's actually seen the boy. And it's some obscene time at night and it's dark out, but he's been on the road for 2 whole days trying to get here to see him because Kristoff said he got a letter in the mail, and Marcus read it on the way over. He spent a while sitting in his car parked outside the house and writing his own letter back to him in his tight, cursive handwriting, because he's kind of been shit at explaining things in person. The letter's sitting in the mailbox as if Marcus didn't put it there himself, and now it's just the small brunette knocking on the door to Valentine's house.
