A shrill wailing emitted from the speakers and Bea almost wished it was a banshee, but no, it was just a misguided werewolf howling out Adele's Rolling In The Deep. Usually, Bea wouldn't be caught dead in On Pitch due to her particular relationship with its owner, but she wanted to make sure she was doing her due diligence and ensuring no sirens were cheating during the contest. She winced as the performer's voice cracked after not being able to reach a high note. Noticing the person beside her also wincing a bit, she took a sip of her drink before asking, "Is it usually like this?" in a low voice. "I don't know how An-- how anyone could be here for so many hours without needing a break. I'm almost tempted to go outside for a smoke break and I don't even smoke."

Location: Town Green Event: Hanami

Tearing off another bite of her mochi donut, Luna walked farther from the farmer's market-- shopping bag full, as a member of the community that supported small business and all-- and towards the town green where people had gathered to picnic. "Hey, want to share a blanket?" she asked a person nearby. "I've got way too much food and I don't think I can take it all home. Promise you won't be on the menu," she said with a small wink, "--unless you want to be."

Location: Celestial Hills' restaurant street Event: All of the food deals, all of 'em

"Listen, this is like my Superbowl, okay? Don't you screw this up for me, just nod and pay for your half," Reese said seriously as she pulled out the sheet of participating restaurants and her plans on how to hit them all before the week was up. "Rainbow Roll has their best deal today, but the special is two-for-one and normally I'd be all for ordering two meals and taking one home, but this is a lover's special so I need a partner. So, are you in or are you in?"

While Naosuke was used to the loud sounds of motorcycles and guys fighting with one another, he did take some sanctuary in quiet places he could work in the school. Though, when he hears someone burst into his work room, he can't help but look up from his latest project, glaring at the intruder.

"You better have a damn good reason for being here. Say what you want or get the hell out already."

"Wooow," Lucky compliments, the elongation of the word was in cahoots with his alcohol intake, the champagne from the evening starting to catch up with him which abolished his penchant for second guessing whether he should or shouldn't strike up conversation, "That's a great outfit. Since his previous association with one of the employees, Jared hadn't visited the florist in almost a year — mostly to avoid her and not renew the lease she had on his heart. Unfortunately however, there was only one place in town he could purchase a solid bouquet of flowers.

As he entered, he did a silent prayer that the other woman would be working, not Camille. But he'd been humbled and reminded that god wasn't on his side, when he locked eyes with the brunette behind the counter. "Fuck," he murmured, running a hand through his dark curls.

Putting on his best display of appearing nonchalant, he paraded over and leaned against the surface separating them. "Hey, Cami. I need some help," he deliberately grinned, trying his hardest to quell the sudden butterflies in his stomach.

"I'm looking for some flowers, ones that would make a girl swoon." That girl being his aunt, but he believed in his feeble attempt at making her jealous. "What would you recommend? What's your most romantic bouquet? "

"Hey Az, put the 'go away,' sign on the desk, we're getting sushi!" Reese called out as she strode into the Magnolia Inn's foyer. Hiring someone to man the desk was one of Reese's better ideas. It gave her more free time to work on furniture and gave the guests less singe marks when they got too demanding. "I got a two for one coupon for Rainbow Roll so we gotta roll on in there before three if we want the deal," she punctuated her sentence with two sharp knocks on the front desk. "So, ready to go?" she asked the witch behind the counter.

“So does this mean I get free rent for at least a week?” Binna asked coming out of the bathroom with her robe from the inn on. She was mostly joking but if Reese actually going to cut her a break for sleeping together then she wasn’t about to turn a gift down. “I mean if not I really gotta start getting clients.” She told Reese with a laugh before falling onto the bed with a sigh. “I have to say I thought this town would be way more into dancing or ice skating. I mean what do you all actually even do for fun around here? Not to knock your town but this place isn’t exactly huge.” Rolling over onto her stomach as she looked at Reese. “Doesn’t it get boring doing the same thing everyday or do you all just secretly hate new comers?” She asked teasingly.

While most would expect Amai to be freaking out over what was on the screen, there they were with their usual smile just watching the horrors unfold without a single break in their expression. Pausing a moment, they look over to see who is nearby.

"Hm? Did you need something oooor did you wanna watch, too?"

reese keeps a small smile on her lips, following right behind slater inside of their apartment. although memories of their previous night together flashed through reese's mind, she does her best to ignore it as she meets reese's gaze. "i think water would be just fine," reese answers, neglecting to mention that her getting drunk was the last thing the both of them needed. but it was left unsaid, lingering in the air regardless. "is asking for a lemon slice and a little pink umbrella too much or . . .?" reese adds in a playful tone.

"OKAY, WE WEREN'T THAT BAD ." slater replies half defensively with a half hearted roll of their eyes even if it means directly contradicting themself . somehow just rolling over and admitting it feels a bit like defeat and slater can't exactly stomach that . they also can't exactly help the way their lips twitch a bit as reese continues . " my bad . guess i got used to being the most competitive one in the room when we weren't talking ." slater is careful to keep her mind blank as reese leans in close, keeping their arms hooked together loosely and very much not focusing on the warmth of reese at her side or the smell of her perfume or any of that shit that got them into this situation in the first place . instead slater merely holds the door open for reese as they exist the diner and make their way to her car . " whenever you call it a bachelor pad it makes it sound like i've got a foosball table and my mattress on the floor ." slater adds dryly . slater in fact does not have a foosball table and a mattress on the floor . she's not that bad . her place is probably stuffed with one too many instruments and definitely too many band posters, but slater sees no problems with that and feels absolutely no shame about ushering reese into the flat despite what may have taken place the last time they both were here . slater does a pretty good job of not thinking about it as she locks the door behind reese . " you want water or something ? or beer ?" slater asks in a rather weak attempt at being a host that is frankly, more than most would get if they're honest .

"Let me guess, you're new around here," Reese commented, offering a half grin to the 'stranger' at the counter of the local diner. "Or, just passing through, right?"

"You'd definitely have ordered the peach pie, if you were from around here," she explained, with a tilt of her head towards the deserts sat on the glass cake display stands along the corners of the countertop. "Miss Eugene, she's got something of a magical green thumb, or something, cause I swear, it doesn't matter what's actually in season, that peach pie, every week, all year round, without fail."
