daily notes - march 25, 2024
I am a sleepy child. I got up at noon today, after going to bed around 7-8am. By 5pm, I was already falling asleep, so I just went back to bed. Set my alarm but woke up before it, around 8:30pm. Finally rolled out of bed just before 10.
I've now eaten dinner (leftover stew), and I ought to get myself in the shower, so I can go to the library tomorrow. Buuuut... I'm already tempting fate by playing with my lack of time management skills. Might as well sleep and then shower in the morning.
Really, my February hibernation broke my usual habits, and I'm not back into them just yet. Especially being tired/sick the last couple weeks and then weather canceling Saturday's library stuff. Getting myself to stay asleep, or at least go back to bed after a bathroom break, is a key thing to fix first.
Important note to reassure myself: If I don't have enough time for a shower before opening the library, just tell them I'll be a bit late and just come in late. If I come in late, then my friend can leave early, and we even out the "burden".
The adrenaline I've been running on since the end of January has finally run out, I think. I also exhausted myself by the end of February, with mental and physical health stuff. My friend's visit a couple weeks ago put another swing in things, though I'm still glad we met up.
I'll see what I can do to compromise and bend my own arm to do things. (May have to do more writing, privately.)
