OC Hoco Headcanons

Lou and Truly

(Let’s pretend that 1. their school would allow same-sex couples and 2. they’d be willing to be out)

 Lou probably brought it up

But always got too nervous to ask Truly out

Or couldn’t figure out the perfect way

So eventually just out of the blue Truly asks her

She makes a poster that says “Just two best buds going to Hoco?” because it’s a flower pun and she and Lou always make “gal pal” jokes

Lou says yes of course (after calling her gf a nerd like 500 times because that is a TERRIBLE pun (which means holy shit it’s adorable)

They go in a group with Neil (who they kind of dragged along, he kind of wanted to go), Dom, and Gen (they’re kind of introverts lol even though Truly hangs out with a lot of the theatre kids)

They all get ready together at Lou and Neil’s house

Truly literally blasts her whole Broadway playlist (it’s probably just like a ‘let’s get pumped up’ playlist though) and she jams out like crazy. Gen and Lou just stare

Neil occasionally screeches from down the hall whenever he hears a song that he likes

Truly: yellow and black, off the shoulder sleeves, goes to about her knee, sort of sundress-y, not super high black heels, her hair is to the side on one shoulder (full natural hair), pretty natural makeup

Lou: two piece, long sleeves, top is lacy and gray, long light pink maxi skirt that goes to about her ankles in the back, a little below her knee in the front, tall nude heels, curls her hair, silver jewelry, darker makeup

Neil drives them, Truly in the front seat next to him so they can belt Broadway, leaving Gen, Dom, and Lou in the back

Lou fake gags half the time because Gen and Dom are holding hands the whole time

Truly reaches over her shoulder to hold hands with Lou, which makes her laugh (and blush just a little)

They don’t stay at hoco for a super long time

Truly dances the most out of all of them

But Lou gets kind of uncomfortable around so many people

So they leave with Neil and crew

They end up making these random stops to Starbucks and McDonalds 

And then they go to a Barnes and Noble because Gen and Lou both have that love for paper and words

And they just drag their SOs around with them with Neil just chilling and basically being in his own element

There’s a lot of kisses stolen in between shelves

Truly and Lou hang out near the YA section and do Google searches on their phones for LGBTQA+ novels and then try to see how many they can find

Lou tries to buy like 10 books (including This Book is Gay)

She does buy like half of them

Truly loves watching Lou pick up like every book, it’s just so fricking cute

Neil eventually catches them kissing and has to basically drag them out of there (after Lou pays for everything)

They go home and turn on some movie (probably Neil’s choice, since he’s the most awake of all of them)

Lou and Truly cuddle of course

They probably sneak off to Lou’s room after a while to hang out

They fall asleep there (Truly does at least, Lou stays on tumblr and just admires her gf)
