oh, my ultimate comfort food is pea and ham soup! so it’s like: dried split peas, ham hock or bones, and then i use leek and carrot and whatever herbs i have on hand (my favourite are thyme and rosemary!), cover it with vegetable stock and bring it to a boil and then let it simmer for a couple of hours, until the split peas melt down and thicken it up!!! it’s great 🥹🥹🥹 i kinda want it rn tbh lmaoo. do you have a favourite recipe?? 🥺🥺 im not much of a baker—it’s too precise for me, LOL, but my bestie is brilliant at it!!
