Hey friends, I'm thinking of changing my username. I have some ideas and I'm having trouble picking one.

Context: I'm a redhead and my sister's username is tiredtrashpanda (Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket Raccoon reference), so I want to change it to something related to red pandas. I also have ADHD.

Henry watched Audrey leave the area in front of his cell. The moment she was out of sight, the corners of his mouth dipped down. What a strange young lady.

Troubled, he did what he always did when he needed to get his thoughts in order: he pulled out a sketchbook and began to draw. His pencil scratched against the rough paper in expert, practiced strokes. First, he drew a circle, added a few others, then connected them with thin black lines. Once the body and pose were blocked out, he added the details: pie-cut eyes, gloves, bow tie, horns, and most importantly, that special smile. It was only natural that, having drawn the little dancing devil countless times, he was the first thing Henry drew whenever his pencil touched paper.

Tapping his pencil against the drawing pad, the old animator brainstormed his next art subject. Thoughts straying to Audrey, he started sketching her in his style.

Panic rose in Audrey’s throat. She stared at the hole in the wall in front of her so intensely as if she could will Sammy to reappear.

The impossible moment replayed in her mind over and over as she tried to make sense of it. The false-prophet found the hole, turned, said, “Follow,” and melted into an opening with a slushing sound, leaving her to gawk at the space alone. Why would he say that?! How was she supposed to ‘follow’?! He must have said it to mock her, the ungrateful ass. Now she was just as stuck as before she wasted all those hours breaking him out of jail.

Eventually, they made it to Laboratory Six. After liberating an entire room of lost ones, the animator spied a rectangular shape with rounded edges implanted into a wall. 

COMFORT COFFEE

“We need mugs!” she declared, spooking Sammy from his inspection of a particularly nasty examination table. 

“Why?” he questioned irritably, obviously annoyed at the interruption.

Audrey pointed at the machine and his annoyance vanished. 

Two tased Keepers and a ransacked laboratory later, they were standing before the machine again.

Funny-ish story, I was about to post this on Tumblr last night and got locked out of my phone. Apparently, the universe was against me posting but I'm back now lol.

Glancing around, it took a second for Bendy to realize where they were. When he did, he went from sluggish and sleepy to bursting with energy. He squirmed and did his best to wiggle out of Inky’s grip, eyes fixed on the playground. 

Grinning in amusement, the demon lowered him to the floor.

As soon as his shoes touched the ground, the toon was off, zooming from attraction to attraction. He pointed excitedly at each set of playground equipment with stars in his eyes.

Inky watched from the sidelines, enjoying his obvious excitement.

Eventually, Bendy settled on the merry-go-round. Jumping on the simple spinning ride, the toon spun himself around using his foot to propel the ride in a circle. He stopped the ride and motioned for the other to join him. 

Inky obliged, slowly making his way over to attraction. 

Bendy motioned for him to spin the ride, then jumped aboard, fastening both hands on one of the railings.

Taking hold of the railing, the Ink Demon coiled back, then pushed it as hard as he could, eager to show off for his little brother.

However, he underestimated his own strength. 

The little merry-go-round went spinning at supersonic speeds. Less than a second later, a black blur flew off the contraption, hitting a wall with a loud smack.

Don’t worry, Bendy’s gonna be fine. The Ink Demon/Inky’s just gotta learn how to control his own strength first lol

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m finally updating Big Brother Bendy!!! Wooo

I’m also finally changing my name from starry-eyed-toucan to StarryRedPanda so if my links to stuff don’t work for a little while that’s probably why. 

I’m also still working on the next update for Born from the Same Ink and should be posting that fairly soon if I can keep myself motivated.

Dark Revival rewrite fic is up!!

Summary:

A rewrite of Dark Revival based on old predictions and fan theories before the final release, and overall just a rewrite of certain things I would have done differently for the story and lore. A majority of characters, dialog, and locations are taken from the final release of the game to fill in the gaps, as I wouldn't be able to make something entirely from scratch. (I'm not THAT creative lol) Not only will interactions and story will be changed, but a few characters visual appearances as well.

Shoutout to @starryredpanda!!! She really helped me get the creative juices ink flowing and motivating me to make this! I'm so excited to work on this I've already got a bunch of chapters in my drafts that just need refining for posting.

Stream and name change announcement!

Hey lovelies! Starryredpanda here, formerly known as starry-eyed-toucan, and creator/writer of the BATDR fanfic "Born from the Same Ink" (along with several other fics but that's my most popular one 😅).

That's right, I finally got around to changing my name! My main blog has changed from starry-eyed-toucan to starryredpanda, and similarly my writing blog has changed from starry-eyed-toucan-writes to starryredpandawrites.

I mostly did this to match my sister @tiredtrashpanda but also because I figured having people call me, "Red," or "Star" was easier than "Toucan."

Did I overthink this? Probably. But am I happy with it? Yes. Yes I am.

Moving on, I want to play Bendy: Secrets of the Machine and figured it would be fun to stream it with my sister @tiredtrashpanda since I haven't played it before or seen anything about it yet. I'm also trying to get out of my shell and want to interact with more of you lovely people, and figured the new game coming out was a perfect opportunity to do this.

I was going to try doing it this Saturday but forgot that she was working, so I'm thinking of doing it this Sunday but can't decide on a time.

So, I'm turning it over to you guys! I want to pick a time so anyone who's interested can come.

I gave myself a headache trying to decide which timezone to use and finally settled on Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) since that's the one I use. Also, apparently, we switch between Mountain Standard Time (MST) and Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) during daylight savings, which isn't confusing at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Knitted demon spawn here- looked back at the stream highlights. And noticed a thing I haven’t prior

The golden soup can didn’t just make you explode randomly - it was specifically cus you hit the mascot lad that was following you around in the head- and that is why in the following run the costume was in the hallway and not the main hub area anymore. Golden soup is how to get rid of them. I know this specifically - cus I did the same on accident on my own playthrews

(Also fun fact the costume isn’t a new thing it’s a comeback form then back then Joey tried to make bendy land work- costumes was the first thing attempted but Joey wasn’t satisfied. You can spot them on Bendyland in chapter 4 then looking for the switches. The shear jump form costumes to animatronics to summoning life form ink by sacrificing employees Joey didn’t like is insane, hilarious and just god damn funny)

- what Starryredpanda wishes she said instead of screaming incoherently at the harmless Bendy mascot after accidentally hitting it in the head with a can of soup

Kinda already talked about this during the stream BUT I decided I might as well still answer this in writing too now that I'm not distracted lol

I think it's so cool you noticed that, I would have had no idea lol

So glad they found a use for the freaky mascots in at least one Bendy game. I remember finding them in BATIM and getting excited/scared of a new prospective enemy then being disappointed when the game ended without them being used or mentioned again.

U so right, lol, Joey never did anything half-assed which would have been admirable if that didn't include human sacrifice 😅
