Lieutenant Yanqing came by the Artisanship Commission today looking to buy a new sword for his collection, a fairly common sight for me and my coworkers. This time he had asked us if we had a sword capable of emitting lightning, much like how his own sword can emit ice crystals to freeze enemies.

As it happened, we're in the middle of developing such a sword, but it's still very much in the early testing phases, so I told him that we'd let him know as soon as the final version of the blade was finished so he could purchase it, and he became very excited at the prospect, thanking us happily. He's actually very sweet, that boy, always respectful towards us even with his seemingly boundless enthusiasm for the sword. I wouldn't be surprised if he's paying for half my salary with all the weapons he buys from us.

Chenhua smiled to herself as she wrote on.

I can see that he has a very bright future ahead, especially with General Jing Yuan guiding him. I can only imagine how proud he must be of his pupil.

As to Gebura: oh my god, this bitch gay. I think the entire fandom just kind of accepts that she’s a wlw (for ship reasons or otherwise). Personally, I like to think of her as bi, like I am!

Oh, and since I already spoiled it: my self insert is bi as well. They’re both bi and in love.

Something was wrong. Very wrong.

Chenhua felt it deep within herself the second she stepped out of her residence and saw just how empty Exalting Sanctum was. There were no voices of passersby on their way to work, nor the sounds of starskiffs flying overhead. What was most disturbing of all, however, was that not even the chirping of songbirds was present to cut through the deafening silence. Only the cold, eerie wind that chilled Chenhua to her core.

Her chest tightened as she surveyed her surroundings, ears flattening against her head. Why was it so eerily quiet, and why was she the only soul here? She needed to find her parents and brother. Surely they would at least be here, right?

....

They were not.

Both her parents and brother were nowhere to be found. It was as if they and every living thing had disappeared off the face of the Luofu. The Fennekian grew more frantic as she ran through empty streets, her eyes searching for even the slightest signs of life. Where was everyone? Her parents? Her brother? Her fellow craftsmasters?

Why was she alone?

Chenhua awoke with a gasp as suddenly sat up in her bed. Her mind was still reeling from the awful scenario it had put her through, and she could feel her heart beat rapidly inside her ribcage. Her wide marigold eyes started to adjust to the darkness of her bedroom, and despite her best efforts, started to glisten with unshed tears. She began to take slow, deep breaths in order to calm herself, and she drew her knees up to her chest while she tightly curled her tail in front of her feet. Resting her forehead on her knees, she let out a quiet, shaky sigh.

Campaign 3 insert/oc time. This is Starlight Under the Earth, or he just goes by Starlight for short. He’s a tabaxi ranger who can create blood arrows due to a seemingly familiar demonic pact he has.

Starlight is a very ditzy, but bubbly guy who’s very bad at social cues and norms and will frequently forget things like walking away during conversations or picking up items that don’t belong to you are rude and bad. His name comes from his supposed “destiny”: To find a lost city of stars hidden deep under ground...
