If you feel like blarping headcanons: which rdr2 characters would prefer Barbie and which would prefer Oppenheimer?

Arthur would hesitate to admit it because he doesn't want to be mocked, but deep down he would love Barbie.

Charles is an Oppenheimer guy. No two ways about it, but he would watch Barbie on Arthur's request.

John wouldn't care for either one.

Dutch would mock any Barbie lovers and would side with Oppie to maintain his higher intellect status, whatever tf that means.

Micah would death-stare anyone for liking either one.

Hosea is down with Oppie, but would also respect those who choose Barbie.

Strauss is, ofc, an Oppenheimer guy and while he may not agree with those who prefer Barbie, he'd probably mock them internally.

Javier would name his guitar "Barbie".

Lenny would be in Arthur's camp, as in, he would enjoy Barbie more than he cares to admit.

Bill, like Micah, would also death stare everyone but that's because he would be lost as hell as to what everyone is talking about. "What the fvck is an Oppenheimer, a new beer brand?"

Sean would lightly poke fun at anyone who likes Barbie, but it would all be in good fun. I think he'd enjoy Barbie.

Kieran himself is 100% Barbie.

Rev. Swanson, being the preacher of the group, would warn about the evils of either one but no one would care. *insert 'old man yelling at cloud' meme*

Pearson would probably laugh at everyone for following the latest trends since his priority is feeding everyone. He would check out Barbie but would walk out of the theatre after being overloaded with so much pink. He would enjoy Oppenheimer but would probably not understand it.

Trelawny would naturally scoff at the thought of seeing Barbie being the fancy ass he is, and choose Oppenheimer instead, claiming he's a much better person after absorbing so much knowledge.

Uncle would be confused as shit over the discussion and would watch Barbie just so everyone can STFU but he would fall asleep half-way through the movie and wake up clapping when it's over, claiming what a fantastic show it was.

I think most of the camp ladies would love Barbie, esp. Mary Beth.

Molly would probably side with Oppenheimer just to see if she can get Dutch's attention.

I don't think Sadie would care for either one at all. OK, maybe Oppie but not by a whole lot.

Ms Grimshaw would see either one as nothing more than minor diversions at best, and complete waste of time at worst. She would also urge everyone to get back to work the very second either movie is over.

Karen and Tilly would see Barbie and be somewhat amused, and then quickly forget about it.

RDR2 HCs: Taking Arthur to a Natural History Museum in Modern Times

Hesitant at first, “you just look at old things? That don’t sound fun”

Then you tell him they have dinosaur exhibits and he’s like “alright when are we goin’?”

“Sir, sir sir SIR DON’T TOUCH THE EXHIBITS!”

Arthur tries to read the dinosaur names, leaning in to see the plaque. “Y’all got the plain English names?” Arthur asks you as he scratches his cheek.

You chuckle a bit, “Arthur they don’t have English names, most are a combination of Latin and Greek”

There’s a moment of silence before Arthur speaks again, “....they need english names”

Whistles when he sees the T-Rex skeleton, tipping his hat up so he can see it better, “that is a big dino”

Eyes all the Dino merch at the gift shop

Gets to the frontier exhibit, pointing at the union suit on display, “why do you have some mans underwear in here?”

Stares intently at the taxidermy raccoon exhibit, a sense of familiarity washing over him

Iowa is nothing but dust and cornfields, and she hates it more than she should. Realistically, there’s more to the state than what Riverside has to offer, but she’s hungover and mean with it and she can’t bring herself to care.

The divorce turned her sour. Six months out from the wreck of her marriage she’s nothing but resentment and bottom shelf bourbon, festering and angry and so achingly, unbearably lonely. The Starfleet construction docks and the looming, skeletal shadow of what the cadets all say is the future flagship, voices reverent even when they’re drunk off their asses in a shitty roadside bar— it’s an ugly vision of a future she never wanted.

Myrcella is the one to find them. Jaime and Cersei lie still as death in each other’s arms, a heap of bloodied gold beneath the shadow of the Iron Throne. There is a certain terrible beauty to it: a queen and her knight, together in death as they were in life. Lovely and tragic, like something out of a song.

The thought makes her mouth twist in a frown. The songs never speak of brothers and sisters turned lovers, never make mention of the children who must live in the shame of their sin.
