Ballet dancer Nox who has fallen out of love with dancing but keeps practising till unholy hours because people have Expectations™️ x Cleaning Guy Chase who has taken up the extra job to keep paying for his own dance lessons and keeps walking in on Nox's practice.

Nox is not amused about him trying to chat him up about what he's doing. Chase is not amused about having to wait half an hour to do his job. It's hopeless, really.

Truce is found in the form of a candy bar given to Nox when he's too tired to function.

Okay hear me out idk if uve done this already but what about Stargoth role swap Like Chase is goth and dramatic and Buddy is the boy band king

i actually have some headcanons for this au...

chase is still the sweetest guy alive and buddy is still a jerk to him but like... in different fonts. also chase is still the dumb one

buddy loves the "bad boy band" concept

silver had to reinvent herself in order to give chase outfits that matched his style. she does a great job in the end!

buddy is still the flirty one but in a less... edgy way. more arrogant, like he knows he is very attractive. chase hates this very much but still falls for it

buddy annoys chase by singing. like, actual torture, since he is so bad at it (canon). he actually gets chase to tell him his name promising that's the only way he will shut up (and then he doesn't)

myra gave chase that star necklace. doesn't go with his aesthetic, but he never takes it off

For your consideration: end of the series. Happy ending for everyone. Chase introduces Nox to reality TV, in particular dating shows. At first, he's skeptical and not really into it.

That lasts for like, an hour. He starts ranting about So-and-So being a piece of work and about That Couple™️ that shouldn't be one, but is. Chase is delighted. Nox has to go outside and reconnect with nature in order not to flip a table, at one point. As the program ends he's stroking Chase's hair and they're both dozing off and he's secretely had his fun- but he won't admit it out loud.

(Bonus if Deacon enjoys period piece dramas but he has to take a break from them because both him and everyone else is kinda burnt out from going into stories, so he joins the reality TV fun sometimes. He's NOT amused. But he also joins in with the other two on the sassing the people on the screen.)

((Prunella bullies them into watching documentaries about maybe the return of dinosaurs, somewhere down the line. Deacon is impressed by how quickly she manages to take notes; he's more of a slow writer. Chase is being whiny about them interrupting "date night". He's acting lowkey pathetic so Prunella throws a cheese pretzel at him. Nox makes fun of him for it. ))

AU in which stargoth doesn't quarrel over keys and wishes but also doesn't know each other... until Chase, who partecipates as an artist to a project that basically lets people dedicate songs via telephone to their loved ones by choosing a small musician, selecting one of the available songs, leaving the receiver's number in their page site and add a message for the artist to read out before singing the song on the phone if the sender wants to, has to deliver one single song to Nox by calling him.

But Nox hates answering to unknown numers, so he doesn't, and to his contempt the calls just keep going on for days and days, up to the moment he decides to pick up in order to tell whoever the hell it is on the other line off. In the worst way possible. As one does.

Cue some arguing, Chase calling Nox again and again just to sing songs he knows he'll hate with his acoustic guitar, and Nox maybe getting used to the new routine. Perhaps there might even be a proper serenade in the middle of everything.

(The site is not my idea tho, it truly exists. I didn't explain it properly, but it's so well done and the artists are so talented.)
