My first proper starforged OC, Osiris >:]

They're a class-O starforged, which is the rarest class of starforged and the highest in the hirearchy. They are incredibly tall [exact height is undecided]. The mask over is just that, a mask, and is part of their clothing, not their actual face.

Ironsworn: Starforged OC. → Halia Ripley

Pilot of the starship. She often acts before she thinks, and has a penchant for getting into troublesome situations. Her intentions are always good, but her methods are hit or miss. She travels with Juno, her companion glowcat; Severnius Mihara, the lore-hunting healer; and Tripp Adler, the scoundrel diplomat. 

Orphaned at a young age in the Forge, Halia learned to fly ships in her teenage years under the tutelage of Vesper Nazari, a well-known bounty hunter. She traveled as a part of his crew for over a decade, finally earning status as his co-pilot and second-in-command. 

However, her desire to make a name for herself often lead to her butting heads with Nazari. Ultimately, she betrayed him and stole his ship in order to go on a rogue mission in hopes of tracking down an ancient artifact from before the cataclysm. The mission was ultimately a failure. With the ship in disrepair, she was only able to make it back to Lumen Reach Sector 1 before crashlanding on Theseus. 

Alone and with her dignity in tatters, she made her way to Silvana, the largest settlement on the temperate planet. Known for it’s entertainment district and arms smuggling rings, she knew that she’d need to find a gig and fast, if she wanted to get off-planet before Nazari could track the ship’s signature.

She accepted a position in a smuggling ring which provided her with the ability to pilot ships once again. It was on one of those smuggling missions off-planet that she met Severnius. The two of them became fast friends, and she left her station in the ring in order to help him on his quest for a cure.

More recently, they met and welcomed Tripp Adler into their small, rag-tag crew. They are currently on Jotunn, near Meridian, assisting their associate Zybil with tracking down stolen supplies and a relic of some importance. This has brought them head to head with the splinter group The Bleak.

Do they have any tattoos? If so what are they and do they have any special meaning?

As it happens, almost all of them have tattoos of some kind haha.

Selanna has one on her neck and forehead - she wanted something swirly and pretty, something that looks like a wind or a storm. Matching for her being a storm sorcerer.

Veera has one on her forehead, wrist, and her hip. Her wrist tattoo is her parents' day of death to mark the most significant event in her life. How dramatic. Her hip tattoo is vines and leaves, a mark of nature. Her forehead tattoo pertains to her circle of the moon magic. She's obsessed with moon symbolism. Her second name is actually Luna, moon.

Ari has a beholder on his throat/neck. He's the dark urge and his past is still lost to him, so he doesn't know what it means and tries to hide it with wearing high collar shirts.

Kai only has his draconic scales on his face and below his ribs and on his thighs.

Merissa I'm almost giving up on her as an oc but she also has a tattoo on her neck and forehead. For her it's a completely aesthetic choice, she loves to adorn herself with jewelry and tattoos are just another part of decorating herself.

The tunnel never had a light. You wish for nothing because you know you'll receive nothing, and your hopes died out long ago. The only thing that keeps you going is the thrill of emptiness you feel when things don't turn out your way. It's bitter. It's proof. Proof that you don't feel this way for nothing.

There's a hole where your heart used to be and nothing is filling that hollow void. You could drown in a world curated for you, and still nothing seems to fit. It eats you alive knowing you're unsure how to satiate the hunger of your soul. It's barely hunger, it's more like a blackhole.

Your expectations are ones you can barely meet. You compare yourself to others, but with a hypocritical light. You'll never find what you're looking for if you're laying down half of what you receive. It stings to be given less than expectations you've set, but if they were more reasonable, do you think even then you'd be happy?

The pain in your chest bubbles knowing that what you want may never be yours. You're lost in a fantasy world, or consumed by what you wish you were or had as opposed to what you do. It's hard to appreciate what's around you when you're appreciating the hope of what could be instead.

Your energy depletes as you hand it out to anyone passing by your basket. People walk by and take, but no one ever leaves. You're constantly running on low when people keep asking you to give. You'd give your soul away for free, and then what left do you have of yourself if you can't say no?

Your heart feels full of the connection you feel you lack. No matter how many people are around you, strangers or not….someone is missing. You don't know who, what, or if you'll ever find them. You're unsure if there's a person out there who'll really satisfy your life, so really what's the point of continuing to look?

My other Corrie Guard OCs are Graffiti (he/him) and Rence (she/her), who share a lore post here.

And then there's Watcher (he/him), idk where he belongs yet but I love him. Maybe the 212th?

There's also Prim, she/her, clone and adopted daughter of Boba. They're in their own AU that's really only vaguely connected to canon.

To everyone's surprise, I'm sure, I also have Star Wars OCs who aren't clones!

Kryndi (she/her) is a human Alderaanian, florist, and Kit's girlfriend.

I also have one (1) Jedi OC, he's a human or possibly near-human named Cathedi. I've never actually done anything with him, oops.

And then the totally-not-traumatised Mando siblings, Varkus (he/him) and Vermil (she/her) Torrak.

My favourite Mando is Vinir (he/him), he's a bitch and I love him so much.

I have several Tusken OCs but the only one I've talked about on tumblr, I think, is U'Rajya (they/them). Or at least they're the only ones I ever tagged anything for.

A'Hidayat is the only other Tusken I really have lore for. He was the last survivor of his clan. They were just passing through on their way to Gafsa Canyon when they were murdered by settlers seeking revenge for something an entirely different clan did. He spent a few years wandering alone before he heard about Mos Espa's daimyo's connection to the Tuskens and went to check things out for himself. Boba initially wasn't very impressed by A'Hidayat's spying, but upon learning what happened to his clan, was understanding and was able to connect him to Boba's own tribe so he wasn't alone any more. A'Hidayat's not around much, but when he is, they get along pretty well.

There's also A'B's'h'r who does not really get along with Boba at all lmao. They were training partners and A'B's'h'r is raring to go, all eager to prove himself, and isn't impressed with Boba in response being 'would you chill for five fucking minutes'.

I've never done a write-up for them, but I have the Valkyries, who are an all-women pirate crew. Their Twi'lek captain Maya, and three of their other officers, are in a loving relationship with Racer. There's a lot of explosions and some fire but honestly they're all into that. The other crew members are named *checks notes* Asterinika Starforger, Bagel, Cappuccino (Cap for short), Cindia, Jacob, Jacosta Shale, King, Melee, Royal Midnight, Ravenna Blackthorn, Rad, Scorch, and Void Burn.

Tab is a background character in the Aces' origin story, he was the medic that helped cover up their disabilities and taught Ember how to be a medic also.

Pup is from a modern Cody/Rex AU, he's their adopted son. Not a single brain cell in that head but he adores their orange cat and bees (he's also afraid of the sounds bees make so it's an adventure at times). This tiny child WILL infodump at you for twelve hours about giraffes with no sign of slowing down.

Currently watching: Because of how my chronic pain has been I've been rewatching a lot of my 'comfort video essays', but mostly NezumiVA's videos on Ace Attorney cause I love her voice acting and I love Ace Attorney~ Also the new season of Futurama is being released weekly so I'm watching that too!

Current obsession: Oh god so many things, I've been so so obsessed with working on my novel/writing stuff as much as I can! Gpose as also grabbed ahold of my throat and now I just love it so much~ FFXIV has been a current obsession for over 5 years now and truly doesn't plan to let me go lol~ Zee Zalinos my WoL oc also has been flourishing in lore and thats been so so exciting and now with the new haircut I feel like so much of her Look is finalized!! Also I've fallen in love with so so many of the FFXIV mutuals and the community in general! (always feel free to send asks about anything ^^ I may take a bit but I do try and get to every ask~ and I appreciate and love every one I get!)

Okay, hi quiz that calls my characters out for filth. You don't need to do this to my baby. Having her formative years shaped by Garlean occupation, losing most of the ability in her legs, and nearly all her friends / family until she found Siyoh again? OUCH. Azuma is one of those characters who absolutely smiles through 95% of the pain she has gone through and it is. A problem.

I expected Kor of all people to get called out, so this result is not shocking. She is dealing with the terrible ordeal of wanting to live; cracking the veneer and thawing the frost is a terror she experiences on the daily.

I did the quiz for Ashe, Seelu and Elandervier respectively but I didn't like the results SOOOOO I didn't post them here. :') But I did TRY to do some of my alts!

Ironsworn: Starforged OC. → Luna Beckett

Luna was raised as the only child of two scientists on the planet Gadreel. From a young age, she knew full well that she wanted to go into medicine and when she turned eighteen, she enrolled in University. It was never her intent, but she ended up starting a romantic relationship with one of her professors - Dr. Quinn Durant - a woman 20 years her senior. While it was full of passion (and sneaking around was very fun), the dynamic was ultimately far too toxic to last. She broke it off - and gained herself a formidable enemy in the process. Her ex made her remaining years of schooling particularly stressful, however, she still managed to graduate with honors. At age 22, she began practicing medicine at her own clinic in the capital city to great success. She was promoted in her field, and in addition to her day-to-day work healing citizens and adventurers alike, she maintained a research practice. It was always of the utmost importance to her that she keep her skills sharp. Ultimately, her pet project studying Ironbark Disease, an ailment that affected the impoverished youth population, lead to a breakthrough cure at age 26. Not long into her 30th year, a rugged man with life-threatening injuries was brought into her clinic for emergency medical care. His name was Magnus "Killshot" Booker, a pirate who works within the sector. She had heard of him before - it was hard not to, considering he was pretty well known. He stayed with her for a couple of months as his injuries healed. Keeping a known pirate in her home did come with its risks, but she hadn't expected one of them to be falling in love with him. The two started a formal relationship, one that she still maintains despite months of intermittent contact and seeing one another. In spite of this, they love each other, and they make it work. By the time she turned 34, Luna had tired of life on Gadreel. She grew envious of her lover's stories and travels, and wanted to see more of the universe for herself. Luckily, she crossed paths with Azriel Dykstra, a lorehunter and space pilot bound and determined to find an ancient artifact he swore could change the course of the universe for the better. Despite her reservations about it's existence, his offer of work on his ship provided the perfect opportunity to leave her homeworld. However, after a year of exploration, Azriel went missing during a trip to a remote planet, leaving Luna and the rest of their ragtag crew on their own. She settled temporarily on a spaceport, where she was found by Melina, a scout and courier, who came bearing Azriel's personal amulet. She now travels with her and fellow scout Rocco Dex.
