The feeling after watching a srk movie in 2023.
Pathaan had me all excited and amped up because adrenaline rush. Love my mission impossible flicks just for the fun of it.
Jawan had me restless because I just wanted it in my brain. I don't care what anyone says about it being a mixture of 10 films, I loved it and I'll always stand by it.
Dunki has me in a limbo. The joy of watching a movie is there but there's an underlying sadness that we don't see the actor srk this often, and I know he's good in all his works, but you understand that his stardom takes the front seat these days.
What comes next and when I don't know but I pray that he plays all these varieties as long as he can. Please just keep doing movies Shah. Please.
#srk#pathan#jawan#dunki#yup I'll be talking about dunki now#maybe I should just name myself another srk fan account#because that's probably what I do here these days anyway#and it's not my fault#man went away for far too long#and activated trust issues#I won't let him go again

i don’t know if you would have an answer but do you have any clue why only friends seems to have so little budget but dangerous romance seems to have a lot? with 2 huge pairs that have a lot of fans and make a lot of money for gmmtv and 2 other actors (mark and neo) that ppl love + a respected director i’m surprised it doesn’t have a lot of budget compared to dangerous romance that’s introducing a new pair (yes they were in nlmg but it’s still their first time leading a show together) and is a high school bl (even though the plot seems intense). then again i’m not sure who exactly worked on dangerous romance and if the budget has anything to do with that.
Hey anon! sorry for the late reply but I wanted to see more of Dangerous Romance before saying anything.
So the Director of DR is Lit Phadung Samajarn who is also the director and screenwriter for a lot of other BLs. Love in Translation, Love Mechanics, My Engineer and SOTUS. [There is a theme of enemies to lovers here.]
And the Screenwriters are Pratchaya Thavornthummarut and Bee Pongsate Lucksameepong. They are both BIG names in the BL world and specifically in GMMTV. Some of GMMTV's biggest shows were written by them. Bee also co-wrote Kinnporsche and Bad Buddy. For Pratchaya I can see literally every famous GMMTV work in his resume.
Also Perth has been around in the BL world for a long time.
P'Aof is the producer.
So the Behind the Scenes talent is huge in this show.
The Only Friends team is very strong as well. I just wanted to mention the DR team by name.
Now for the most part I can only speculate and it all seems to come down to Product Placement. DR has it. OF doesn't. Why? I don't know. It could be executives didn't want to have their product in OF or they didn't trust the show would get people to buy their product because it would attract that type of audience or it won't be able to convince the viewer, which I do find absurd tbh. Another theory could be the creators didn't want it. It could be GMMTV didn't want it. It could be they blew through the budget on the 90s music Ray likes and such things but it could also be the artist was/is a GMMTV artist. But at the end of the day, unless someone comes out with what the reason is, I doubt we will find out. It's all about money and who can convince people to spend the most and that's not a bad thing. Money is important, it's how we live. In a perfect would it would be different but it's not a perfect world.
I won't go off of actors to judge the budget of a show since actors seem to be the cheapest item. That sounded bad but I don't mean it like that. Renting places, the equipment, marketing and many other things take much more budget than the actors. Unless they are like RDJ or SRK level, at which point you can and should judge the budget of a product from it's stars. I think the only Thai equivalent I know is MileApo. But even that doesn't feel right. Like they don't compare to the stardom of RDJ or SRK.

SRK’s Dance Numbers: Energizing Bollywood for Generations
Shah Rukh Khan, the “King of Bollywood,” is not only celebrated for his iconic acting skills and magnetic screen presence but also for the unforgettable music that accompanies his films. His association with Bollywood’s finest composers, lyricists, and playback singers has led to a treasure trove of songs that resonate across generations. As SRK’s career evolved, so did the music that became an integral part of his films. This article delves into the evolution of Shah Rukh Khan’s musical legacy, from the melodious 1990s to the eclectic tunes of the 2020s.
The Romantic Melodies of the 1990s
The 1990s marked the beginning of SRK’s stardom, with his films introducing music that defined the decade’s romantic ethos. Songs from “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (1995), like “Tujhe Dekha To”, became timeless anthems for lovers across India and beyond. Composed by Jatin-Lalit and sung by Kumar Sanu and Lata Mangeshkar, the song exemplified the lush romance and emotional depth SRK brought to the silver screen.
Other films like Dil Se (1998) offered tracks such as “Chaiyya Chaiyya”, composed by A.R. Rahman. This unique song, performed atop a moving train, showcased an unprecedented fusion of visual spectacle and musical innovation. The lyrics by Gulzar and vocals by Sukhwinder Singh added a soulful touch that elevated SRK’s stardom to new heights.
The Multigenre Musical Exploration of the 2000s
The turn of the millennium saw Shah Rukh Khan diversify his musical portfolio, incorporating a variety of genres that catered to evolving audience tastes. The 2003 film Kal Ho Naa Ho introduced the titular track, a heartwarming ballad composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Sung by Sonu Nigam, this song became a symbol of hope and living in the moment. It showcased SRK as a sensitive performer whose music could stir deep emotions.
In Om Shanti Om (2007), SRK ventured into disco-inspired music with “Dard-E-Disco”. This energetic number was a departure from his traditional romantic melodies, reflecting his adaptability and willingness to embrace contemporary trends. Vishal-Shekhar’s composition, combined with SRK’s charismatic screen presence, turned the song into a chartbuster.
The 2010s: Nostalgia and Reinvention
As SRK matured as an actor, his films began blending nostalgia with innovation in their soundtracks. The 2013 film Chennai Express brought songs like “Lungi Dance”, which celebrated South Indian culture in a fun, catchy style. Sung and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, this track highlighted SRK’s knack for reinventing himself while paying homage to cinematic traditions.
Another significant moment in SRK’s musical legacy was the reprise of classic Bollywood melodies. In Raees (2017), the song “Zaalima”, a romantic duet performed by Arijit Singh and Harshdeep Kaur, echoed the golden age of Bollywood music while incorporating modern production techniques.
The Digital Era and Global Accessibility in the 2020s
In the 2020s, Shah Rukh Khan’s music reached a global audience like never before, thanks to digital streaming platforms. His recent films, such as Pathaan (2023) and Jawan (2023), feature music that dominates charts worldwide. Songs like “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” and “Chaleya” have millions of streams on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, proving SRK’s unmatched ability to stay relevant.
The song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan”, composed by Vishal-Shekhar, is a high-energy number blending traditional Sufi influences with modern beats. The choreography, performed by SRK and Deepika Padukone, became a social media sensation, with fans recreating its hook step in viral videos. Similarly, “Chaleya” offered a softer, romantic vibe, cementing SRK’s reputation as Bollywood’s eternal lover.
Collaborations with Musical Maestros
A significant part of SRK’s musical legacy lies in his collaborations with legendary composers and singers. Over the years, he has worked with maestros like Jatin-Lalit, A.R. Rahman, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Each partnership brought something unique to his films:
Jatin-Lalit: Known for crafting some of SRK’s most iconic songs, such as “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and “Tujhe Dekha To.”
A.R. Rahman: Created globally celebrated tracks like “Chaiyya Chaiyya” and “Dil Se Re.”
Vishal-Shekhar: Composers of modern hits like “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” and “Dard-E-Disco.”
SRK’s Musical Legacy: A Cultural Phenomenon
Shah Rukh Khan’s music transcends Bollywood, becoming a cultural phenomenon. His songs are not just limited to cinematic experiences but are played at weddings, festivals, and even global events. Tracks like “Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna” from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge have become staples in Indian weddings, while “Chaiyya Chaiyya” has been performed at international stages and shows.
The cultural impact of SRK’s music also extends to how it unites fans across the world. Non-Hindi speakers from countries like Germany, Russia, and Egypt sing along to SRK’s tracks, often describing his music as their first introduction to Indian culture.
Conclusion
The evolution of Shah Rukh Khan’s musical legacy reflects his growth as an actor and his ability to adapt to changing times. From the romantic ballads of the 1990s to the high-energy tracks of the 2020s, SRK’s music remains an integral part of his cinematic identity. These songs not only define his films but also his connection with fans, making his musical journey as iconic as his acting career.

Coming to Shah Rukh Khan, who featured in three releases in 2023, viz. Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki saw a relatively inactive period from 2018 to 2023. With no new releases post Zero in 2018, though SRK managed to hold his reputation, his brand value saw a sharp decline. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh, in the same period featured a release each year, with 2020 being the only year with no release. Pathaan Movie Review (2023) | Cast, Story and Budget
Shahrukh Khan, called the King of Bollywood from Pathaan, has returned to the big screen after four years. SRK is pinning hopes on Pathaan for such success, as the last few years have been bad for his stardom.
Shah Rukh Khan has acted in a pure action movie for the first time. The story of Pathaan is after India removed 370 from Kashmir. Pakistan takes the help of a terrorist group named Outfit X and tries to destroy the country through a virus. A field agent named Pathaan is deployed when a dangerous terrorist group called Outfit X warns of an attack on India.
Sridhar Raghavan's story is straightforward, but the way he has layered it makes the movie more attractive. From time to time, information is given about the characters, which keeps the movie engaged for most of the time. The movie moves at a stormy pace till the interval, and later the graph of the movie comes down, which stabilizes in the climax.
Shah Rukh Khan has been fabulous in action sequences and has delighted fans with their action avatar. Deepika Padukone looks very glamorous in the movie. In the negative character, John Abraham leaves more impact with his looks and personality than acting. Pathaan has been shot in many countries, including Spain, Siberia, Dubai, Russia, and France. The movie has been shot in many countries, and Rs 250 crore has been spent, which is also visible.

From Backstage to Netflix – Sachin Negi is set for his first Netflix Series Debut!
Sachin Negi (a 20-year-old Chandigarh boy), who kick-started as a theatre artist, is ready for his first Netflix debut in the web series CAT. He got a golden chance to work along with the popular co-star Randeep Hooda and the tables turned when he got another role in an upcoming movie BANDA SINGH in which he got to work with Arshad Warsi, soon after CAT.
Now, he has shifted from Chandigarh to the city of dreams, Mumbai, to accelerate his passion and add more fuel to creativity.
As SRK said, "The key to being a successful actor is being fueled every day with creativity."
Similarly, Sachin started fueling his zeal long ago and is now electrifying on the big platform Netflix. Accomplishing this much has not been a cup of tea for Sachin. However, he firmly aimed to try every possible way till he achieved what he dreamt of. After going through years of fair-share struggles, hard work, passion, and practice, Sachin grabbed the chance to feature in the original Netflix web series.
As Sachin opens about his journey, he adds, "I faced a long period of ups and downs to get this stardom. In Early days, I shot daily YouTube vlogs, which garnered positive public responses and led me to background roles in a local theatre in Chandigarh. While performing in theatres, I also performed in Nukar Natak and shot events to have extra earnings to pursue my passion.
Then, after learning and improving myself every day, I auditioned for a Netflix original web series, and guess what? I got selected!!! When I got the role in Netflix I knew that this was the moment when I felt I might climb the first step of my journey to the world of stardom and success.
Today, I feel the words of SRK, "Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho; to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai".
Lastly I would only say that dreams do come true if you just stick to them and do whatever it takes. Also, I would like to mention that my journey from a normal college student to an actor was not possible without the support of my family and my three friends Shivang, Shubham and Parth. And especially i would like thank to my father who supported me and guided me on every step to what I have achieved today.
