Aaaa I'm so sorry it took so long But here it is, a Yandere!Harvey x reader, as requested by the lovely @lucienbarkbark! Also, hope everyone's having a great pride month!! I may or may not be preparing a lil something for that, who knows 👉👈
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
Yandere!Harvey x Gn!Sick!Reader
You and Harvey have been pretty close lately, that was clear as day. Despite Harvey normally being the reserved sort, it took a very small amount of time for him to warm up to you. What once was awkward small talk evolved to discussing topics that were a bit deeper than just commenting on the weather. Often, you'd talk about eachother's lives over a hot cup of coffee, a drink Harvey apparently enjoyed quite a bit.
The more the both of you spent time together, the more attached the doctor would find himself to you. The more details he had about your past life in the city, your life right now, and the things that you liked and disliked, the more he'd find himself hanging onto every word you spoke. While Harvey definitely had a good memory, knowing so many facts about one person was definitely unusual for him. He loved everything about you, so much so that he memorized every single thing you divulged to him without even trying.
Hanging out together after Harvey's work hours became a daily ritual of sorts, one that he woke up every day deeply excited for. So you can imagine how he felt when for the first time in weeks, you weren't there in front of his clinic door waiting for him to exit. His first instinct was to worry, but he was able to calm himself down relatively easily. It was true you were always there at 3PM sharp, but it would be silly to assume something bad happened to you just because you're a little late this time around. You were a busy person, maybe you just didn't finish your work for the day yet. That seemed like a reasonable possibility to him.
But as the minutes passed, his concern grew, eventually to the point that he was such a bundle of nerves that he had to go over to your farm to check if you were okay. As much as he wanted to stay calm, all that he could think about were the nearly infinite possibilities of what could've happened to you, and a lot of the ones he could think of were pretty far on the grim side. A part of him still knew full well that he was probably just overreacting, but the slightest possibility of you being hurt was too much for him to handle.
Harvey, with heart beating at an accelerated rhythm, shakily knocked at your wooden door. Much to his relief, he heard your voice from inside. Even though he did think your voice was slightly hoarse, all he could think about was how relieved he was you were okay, perfectly safe inside your home.
"Come in!" You said. Harvey didn't hesitate to, eager to see you after the maybe (definitely) disproportionate scare he just had. Once he opened the door to your farmhouse, he was quick to spot you laying in bed, snuggled into you blanket. A blush dusted his cheeks, finding the image adorable. He felt like seeing you comforted him even more than hearing you did. Now that he was calmer, he pretty easily noticed that your nose had reddish hue and that you were sniffling every so often. 'Ah... So you had a cold, that's why they didn't come.' Harvey thought to himself.
"Y/N! Hi! Ahah... It's a bit embarassing, but I was a bit worried about you, you know?" Harvey awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. You greeted him cheerfully, motioning towards your chair with a smile. Until that moment he was awkwardly standing in front of the exit, feeling like coming further inside without instruction from you could possibly be rude. Another thing he overthought, it seemed. He sat himself in your comfortable chair, noticing how your pretty lips formed a frown as you ruminated on his words.
"Oh... I'm really sorry Harvey. I didn't mean to worry you. Honestly, I kinda lost the track of time... I've been really sick since yesterday, my head's a lil hazy-" You explained, interrupted by your (admittedly very cute) sneeze. Harvey's brows knitted together, not really liking the fact that you implied that you were going to go out in your current state if only you didn't forget what time it was.
"You don't need to apologize. I'm just glad nothing bad happened to you." Harvey let out a sigh. You were too kind and considerate even when you didn't have to be. "...Besides, it really wouldn't have been a good idea to go out when you have a cold. You need all the rest you can get." Without realizing it, he switched to the tone he'd normally use when talking to patients about their health, this resulting in a lighthearted chuckle from you. He looked down in your directiin, puzzled as to why you were laughing.
"Nothing, just that... You turned on doctor mode there. You're real cute, Harv, you know that?" The nickname you've never used before plus the unexpected compliment equaled a very, very flustered Harvey. His cheeks set ablaze, trying to fumble his way through forming a sentence to very poor results. "T-Thanks... I think...? Gosh, don't say stuff like that. You're going to make me even redder than your face is right now." He breathed in to calm himself down. "Speaking of which..." The brown haired man got up from his seat, walking up to the bed with a straight face. When Harvey pressed the back of his hand against your forehead, in awe at how smooth, and incredibly hot, your face felt. He found himself melting at the contact, and maybe he would've lost himself in it if your temperature wasn't so concerning. He was sure that if he held his hand on your forehead for much longer than it would literally melt him aswell as figuratively.
"Gah, you're hot so hot...! A-Ah, wait, no I mean- In the temperature sense, of course. Not that you're not just-" Thankfully for Harvey, you mercifully cut him off, assuring him that you understood what he meant from the get-go. "R-Right. Well..." Harvey cleared his throat, removing his hand from your forehead and straightening his back. "Do you have any paracetamol? Or anything else that could help with your fever?" You shook your head no. "Okay, I'll have to bring you some then!"
"Only if you're quick. I'll miss you too much." You gave Harvey a playful grin. He really wasn't sure if you teasing him like this was only meant as playful banter, or a sign that he wouldn't irreparably screw things up if he went and told you how he felt. But that was something he didn't want to linger on in that moment. He had to take care of you, afterall. Harvey gave you nod and a smile, turning towards the door. But before he could walk off he heard your voice again. "Wait! Would... Would it be okay if you stayed over a bit to make me some soup? You told me before that you're really good at cooking, and I've been really excited to try it out! Sorry if it's rude of me to ask you instead of you offering..." Harvey's heart skipped at your request, feeling the slightest bit nervous at the prospect of you tasting his cooking.
"Ah, not at all. You're sick. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't at least treat you with some soup?" And with that, he began preparing you your food. Sounds of chatter between you and Harvey mixed in with that of cutting vegetables and stirring. It was a comfortable, intimate atmosphere. It made Harvey imagine how it would be like to live with you and have this dynamic every single day. He couldn't help but be excited for the future. Maybe he was just convincing himself everything would turn over well because not having the future he imagined wouldn't be something he could handle. He didn't know for sure, but in that moment what was once worry turned into (perhaps misplaced) confidence that things would go over well. All he had to do was find the right time, you'd understand him and feel the same.
As the minutes passed, your conversatiin fizzled out into an equally comfortable silence. When Harvey announced that he finished your meal with an excited tone he expected some sort of response from you, but confusingly enough, he didn't receive any. With brows furrowed, he turned his head in your direction. His brown eyes first fell on your closed ones, then your slightly agape lips, and lastly your chest that rose and fell at a steady rhythm. Your peaceful sleeping face was a sight for sore eyes. You worked so tirelessly on a daily basis, and while he knew you enjoyed what you did, he couldn't help but be worried about you constantly. As much as he admired your determination, overworking yourself like that clearly didn't do any wonders for your health. He sighed, wishing you could listen to your body just a little more often.
Harvey left the bowl of soup where it was, deciding he would heat it up for you once you woke up. He took the opportunity to bring you the meds he was planning to bring, placing them on the end table next to your bed with a cup of water. Something he didn't really plan to bring alongside the medicine but ended up bringing anyway was his trusty camera. He knew it wasn't right. There was no way you would be okay with him taking pictures of you while you were asleep, and he knew that him aknowledging but still doing it made him an even worse person. But by Yoba, he couldn't help it. He wanted, and felt like he needed, to keep seeing your sleeping face even tonight after he'd go home. Waking up next to you could be a far future, and he wanted to have you with him while he slept in some way. After he was done taking several pictures from multiple angles, he stuffed the camera in his pocket. He really, really hoped you would never find out about this. Because he loved you more than anything and anyone, and he wanted you to feel the same more than anything.

Yandere Harvey Relationship Headcanons
Gender neutral, no use of Y/N, munchausen syndrome by proxy, implied murder, implied NSFW, Harvey's a little weird about bodily fluids and food, long post ahead!
┊͙✧˖*°࿐
Tumblr media
How the relationship started...
Let's say, he knows you outside of his work, and somehow, you're the one person in Stardew Valley who has never entered his clinic before. Honestly, you'd have drawn his attention right then and there because of your strange imperviousness to harm or disease.
Like... You? That farmer who goes down into the mines every other day to fight monsters has never been injured? You, who works day and night to the point of exhaustion has never gotten sick and required medical assistance?
The fact that you weren't one of his patients would worry him to his bones.
Even if you weren't one of his patients, he'd have befriended you outside of work. Perhaps at the saloon, after hours, and one of the very rare times he's seen you relax.
He notices the slight limp as you enter, different from your usual gait. When he asks, you chalk it up to a rock in your boot. Harvey sends you a disapproving stare and a furrowed mustache, and you loosen up.
You tell him you tripped while running away from a slime in the mines. And that you maybe pulled something while running. And maybe you lifted something wrong yesterday and hurt your back. And-
Harvey takes off his glasses to rub at the space between his eyebrows, stressed.
"And not once did you think to come visit me?"
"Thought it would go away if I just slept and drank enough water."
His gaze softens.
"..I really do advise it. Please."
Your fingers play with your glass. He can see a bruise forming on the side of your wrist, and the cuts and calluses on your skin.
"...I'll do it tomorrow."
He sighs slightly.
"Well, since I can't do anything for you right now, I'll at least buy you a drink."
"You can do that?"
"Hey, it numbs the pain. Painkiller." He jokes, and you laugh and shake your head. He realizes he likes the sound of your laugh.
"But- wait, don't take that as real medical advice. Really. Please."
That pulls another laugh out of you, louder, and pink warms his cheeks as he laughs heartily alongside you.
The next evening, Harvey waited all day for you to come in. It was nearing closing hours, and he was worried you had disregarded his advice, but right as he got up to start closing the clinic, the door opens, and there you are, leaves in your hair and your muddy shoes leaving a track on his tiles.
He's elated, he knows he shouldn't be, considering why you're even here, but he's so glad you listened to him, so glad you're here. He looks noticeably flustered, his hair is slightly out of place, his glasses are sliding down his nose, and his tie is loose.
"O-Oh, hey there. You finally came in."
"Were you waiting for me? I apologize. It looked like you were about to close up."
He waves your worries away with a dismissive hand, "Ah, what's one more patient? Come on, you look like you really need my help, anyways."
You follow him into a room, cringing at the muddy mess you leave on the floor.
"Sorry for that- I can clean up after we're done."
Harvey insistently shakes his head, sighing your name, "No, no, can't have you doing that, not in the condition you're in." He motions over to the bed, you sit on the edge of it.
"Besides, I haven't even started my assessment of you yet, but I already know you're gonna need a few days of rest at least. Doctor's orders."
He smiles softly at your annoyed expression, donning his stethoscope as you straighten your posture slightly, readying for him to place the other end of the apparatus on you.
"...See, you've got an abnormal heart rate for someone who is at rest."
He notes the warmth of your skin under his palm, resting against your back.
"Have you been feeling ill recently? Runny nose, coughing, headaches, anything of the sort?"
"U-Uh, no." You shake your head, playing with the fabric of your trousers. Nervous.
"...You seem rather flustered. Any reason?"
Your eyes glance up at his, he cocks his head, and you immediately look back down to your feet.
"...Nah."
Harvey smiles, knowingly, and the rest of the appointment continues as normal.
Expectations...
Following this, he'd be more obvious in his attempts to court you. His courting attempts would feel rather old-fashioned, but I think there's a lot of heart in them. I feel like Harvey would be a little bit of a sucker for romantic things, so you'd definitely be receiving letters, all from a secret admirer, of course.
He is confident that he likes you, but he'd carry a lot of anxiety about being so upfront about it, and that perhaps you wouldn't feel the same way.
The letters he sends you would be brief yet sweet. Short messages to pick you up for the day, just wanting to be a part of your life.
"If you ever feel like all the work you do isn't appreciated, know that I am always here, and I always do. You are doing great."
You'd tell him about the letters you've been receiving, during one of your evenings together at the bar. It'd make him blush. Oh, his letters were so important to you that you had to gush about them to a friend?
"And... What do you think of them? The letters?" His eyes are slightly wider than they should be, but the reflections on his glasses hide his faintly, much-too focused expression.
You shy from his eye contact, "...I think they're really sweet. But honestly, I wish they'd just... say it to me directly instead of hiding like this. I want to communicate, talk to them, y'know? Have a conversation, and stuff.."
Harvey blinks, wets his lips.
"What do you think you'd do if he-" He clears his throat, "-they did?"
You frown a little, mulling over the thought for a bit.
"...I'd go on a few dates with them, see if things work out."
His exhale is shaky, he takes a sip of his whiskey.
"Who do you think it is?"
You meet his gaze. His eyes are warm, his cheeks are red too, but that might be the alcohol... Though you realize he's not the type to get flushed when drunk.
"...Is it you?"
His fingers around his glass tremble, and his bottom lip quivers.
"I.. w-well..." He pushes his glasses up, nervously running a hand through his hair. You giggle, and he relaxes.
"Yeah." He smiles warmly.
"Yeah?" You chirp out a laugh again, "I figured."
Although Harvey was usually one who didn't have any problem holding eye-contact at all, now he found himself unable to look at you for too long without getting giddy like a schoolgirl and having to look away to save his racing heart.
That night, you two would be declared a couple. He teased you, wondering where that "first few dates then we'll see how it works out" phase went. You said it was different if it was him, and he had to hide his face in his hands to conceal his boyish, cheesy grin.
His first show of affection would be the next morning, when he brought you a bouquet of flowers to your doorstep, but upon arrival, seeing your expansive field of vegetation, he realized it was perhaps a bit stupid to gift flowers to someone who grows them.
Nonetheless, you accepted them from an embarrassed Harvey gratefully, saying you've wanted to try growing these for a while. Lo and behold, the next time he shows up, with a more thought-out gift this time, he sees a few new flower pots on your front porch.
Harvey as your boyfriend is strangely rather maternal. He tends to be quite the worrywart, always fussing over any cuts or bruises you may get while going about your day, making sure you eat and get enough rest, and always making sure you're dressed properly.
Oh, the different kind of monster Harvey turns into during the winter LOL. He will stay posted by your door, making sure you don't step a foot outside without a thick coat or gloves.
He does enjoy more than he likes to admit, though, when you still feel cold and he has to give you his coat or his scarf. It makes him all smiley and he thinks you look adorable in his clothing.
I think, his deepest desire, is for you to always stay safe, and that he is the one to provide that safety. I mean, with him being a doctor, he is the only person qualified to look after you anyways, but he still does get jealous.
He gets really upset when he's out of the clinic for a bit, and finds out that Maru was the one who tended to your wounds instead of him.
He gets more jealous when you tell him about the work you did that day, and another person was with you.
What do you mean you spent the evening fishing while conversing with Elliott? That could've been him...
What do you mean you spent the afternoon in the library with Penny? Wha- Gunther winked at you!?
Harvey really does want to spend more time with you, but he has a duty to attend to.
Unless...
Punishments...
Maybe, one day, Harvey will stop worrying so much over your health. He'll let you do your thing as you please, though it would hurt him to see you going about your day so haphazardly. But he'll hold back on his usual worried malewife nagging, and just let you do you.
One day, your dangerous lifestyle will catch up on you, and maybe you'll catch a cold, or you'll break a bone. Harvey will be there immediately, much too prepared.
Even though this is what he wanted from this plan, he still cries. He hates seeing you so beat-up, but he couldn't think of any other way to always be by your side. At least the tears blow away any suspicion of his part in this.
It could be a tiny fracture, but he'll still insist you'd need a cast, and that you'd need a wheelchair for the first few weeks. And, of course, Harvey's there to coddle you and help you around.
Maru says she can look after you while Harvey runs the clinic, but he gets uncharacteristically hostile at the mere suggestion of this. If Maru were to keep prying, if she were to find out that your injuries aren't as bad as he says they are, then Harvey might have to resort to more drastic measures.
Murder would be a very difficult thing for Harvey to do, but when he thinks about the life you two have right now- having you rely on him for everything, taking care of you everyday, spending every single moment with each other- his heart feels like it could fall out of his chest at the thought of anyone taking that away from you two.
His access to such a wide array of chemicals and medicines would be terrifying. If anyone threatens this peaceful, perfect life between you two, he could simply inject them with a certain concoction during their routine check-ups, say they needed it, that it was medicine, and it wouldn't even show in an autopsy.
Unfortunately, his tampering with human life extends to you.
Harvey, I think, would get much too enamored by this life you two have made since you've gotten injured.
Being able to dote on you with no restraint, being by your side for every single moment, it was all he could ever dream of.
But all good things come to an end, and your fractured bone would start to heal.
He never thought he'd be capable of lying, not sure if he'd ever done it before, but it's a newfound talent to him. Worries him how good he is at it.
He tells you you need to keep that cast on. That even if you're allowed to use crutches now instead of a wheelchair, that you still need his assistance. He insists that you need him.
Any sort of push-back from you would have his heart pounding. No, no, you can't get up and go back to work. You can't be doing chores on your own, he'll do that- You cannot leave.
Munchausen syndrome by proxy from an actual doctor would be a horrifying thing to go through. Not just any other doctor either, but Harvey, a man who seems so gentle and kind-hearted, a man who is supposed to be your partner.
Sad to say, but I don't think you'd have any way out of this. Your best course of action would be to just let him take care of you as much as he pleases. In due time, he would want to see you get better, so you'll be back to having your freedom in a few months, maybe...
Rewards...
It is pretty comedic saying this after that punishments portion, but Harvey, on more normal days, really is a passive man. He doesn't really have any strange obsessive habits, though he's probably a little weird about fluids...
By that, I mean he'd probably slip a little bit of his saliva or semen into his cooking. He gets a really euphoric rush when he sees you eating that tainted food he made for you. He enjoys that idea that a part of him is mingled in your body now. The other way around goes, too.
When you're sleeping, sometimes you drool, did you know that? You probably don't, because Harvey always wipes it off and licks it. It gives him shivers whenever he does, makes him way more excited than it should.
His libido is not the highest, but that's because I think he makes an active effort to suppress himself. Wants to be good for you. Harvey does have these dirty thoughts pretty often, but he usually just excuses himself to the bathroom for a second to relieve himself when it gets too unbearable. Even then, he dislikes this, since he feels like it'd be a waste of his release, since it's not inside you.
Every day would feel very domestic, he'd tease that you two already act like an old married couple, but he'd secretly hope you'd catch on to the idea he's putting down.
Harvey really does want to get married to you. He honestly, strangely, would act a lot more normally if you two were to be wed. It's like, there is something that exists that ties you two together, so even if you two aren't always by each other's side, he at least finds some comfort in knowing you two are bound forever.
Let's just, uh, hope you don't divorce him... Honestly, at this point, he may have already taken care of Mayor Lewis, so that option won't even be open to you anymore.
Harvey would probably try to pop the question during a little picnic he prepared for the two of you. The box for your engagement ring hidden in the picnic basket, amongst carefully wrapped sandwiches and lunchboxes.
You would pick it up while looking through the basket, wondering what it was. You open it, and Harvey feels like he could faint from how fast his heart is beating.
He stutters a lot, being unable to look you in the eye, then you rest a hand on his shoulder, and he feels alright again.
"I... I'd really like to get married with you, my love. Whaddya say?"
You smile at him, you say yes, and Harvey literally shouts in joy, before roughly taking you in his arms.
He quickly apologizes for being so erratic, but he swears he's never been happier. He just loves you so much.
Even though you two were only fiancés at this point, he'd call you his husband/wife/spouse from time to time, just a slip of the tongue, but he does get shy about it.
Your life together would be relatively the same now, just with some more added affection.
He'd get more comfortable around you, kissing you more often, getting more touchy, wearing less clothing around the house.
Of course, his main core value is still there; to care for you.
When thinking of Harvey's love language, you would, rationally, expect it to be acts of service. However, I posit this; his love language would be allowing himself to be taken care of.
He does get tired, and you do notice. You try to do his chores, try to take care of yourself so he'd have some time to relax, but he always gets fussy about it.
He insists that he can still do it, that he can still do things for you. Perhaps, he's scared that if he's unable to please you, that you'll go elsewhere, fall out of love with him.
You can sense that fear, and you tell him you'll still be here. You tell him to go lie down and rest, and you'll join him when you've finished cleaning up.
The wrinkles on his forehead soften up, so does his gaze, and he nods.
"I... Alright, sweetheart. I'll be waiting. Don't take too long, okay?"

My brain can only read Yandere Harvey as being like... This EXTREMELY overprotective and paranoid yandere. Like, in a nutshell, it kinda goes like this:
Farmer: *Does mining things*
Harvey: NO! Please, you might get hurt! Don't do that, okay?
Farmer: *Does fishing things*
Harvey: Don't do that, either! What if you fall into the water and get sick?
Farmer: *Does foraging things*
Harvey: What if you get pricked by thorns?! Just... stay on the farm, okay?
Farmer: *Does farming things*
Harvey: NO! Stop that! What if you pull a muscle and hurt yourself?
Farmer: How am I supposed to make money, then? Is going outside going to kill me, now?
Harvey: ... *Opens mouth to speak*
Farmer: Don't you dare-

You walked into the saloon, sitting down next to Clint and ordering a beer.
“Oh, hey Clint,” you said, smiling at him. “How’s it going?”
Clint’s head was spinning, and his heart was pounding. He was startled out of his fantasy by your sitting down next to him. Clint flushed red, staring wide-eyed at you.
“Uhm Clint?” You asked, giving him a concerned look, “You good?”
Clint stared at you, his eyes filled with a fierce passion. He held in his emotions, trying to stay calm. Then he let out a little sigh. "Y/N, I have something I need to tell you..."
“Okay?” You tilted your head to the side. “Should we go somewhere more private? Like outside?”
"Yes, that would be good," Clint said, getting up and heading for the door. You followed him outside, the cold air biting at your cheeks.
“So, what’d you want to tell me?”
Clint started to speak, but Harvey walked up behind you.
“I love you."
It was just a slip of the tongue, but Clint’s words struck deep within Harvey’s gut. The three of you stood there, awkwardly looking at each other.
Finally, Harvey spoke up in a bitter tone, “I guess you finally got the balls to say it, huh?”
You jumped when Harvey spoke, realizing he’s standing behind you. "Harvey!”
"Y/N, I wanted to-" Clint started
"What? Spit it out or don’t say anything at all," Harvey said, scolding Clint like he’s a child, his arms crossed over his chest. You took Harvey’s hand and twined your fingers together, trying to keep him calm. Harvey growled at Clint.
The world seemed to stand still. Clint and Harvey glared at each other. Their tense energy threatened to boil over into violence. Before Clint could continue speaking, Harvey slapped him across the face, leaving a red handprint in his wake.
“How dare you!?” Harvey yelled. You grabbed him and pulled him back.
“Harvey! You can’t just slap people!” You scolded
Clint touched his stinging cheek, where the mark of Harvey's hand remained. He looked into Harvey’s eyes; Clint’s gaze was filled with hate and contempt.
Harvey stepped closer to Clint, a murderous look in his eyes as he looked back at him. Harvey's rage turned into cold-blooded determination.
"Clint." He said, reaching down to pick up a rock. He walked up to Clint, who was still sweating from his earlier confession.
"Are you ready to answer for your sins, Clint?" Harvey asked coldly.
You rushed in between them, putting your hands on Harvey’s chest. “Easy there, love, easy.”
"Please, don't hurt me." Clint stammered. Harvey threw him a cold glare. "Stay out of this, Y/N. This has nothing to do with you."
Clint looked at you with eyes pleading for help.
“Harvey, you and I both know this has everything to do with me,” you said, standing your ground. “You don’t get like this for any other reason.”
Harvey ignored you, his gaze darkening. Harvey lunged, brandishing the rock in his hand. In an attempt to defend Clint, you got in the way. Harvey accidentally slammed the rock into your temple instead of Clint’s.
“Ow! Shit!” You exclaimed, stumbling back. You clutched your now-bleeding temple.
Clint rushed to catch you as you fell, wrapping his arms around you to try and get you to sit up.
"Y/N?" He said with desperate concern and fear. Blood trickled down your temple and dripped onto Clint’s shirt. He looked up at Harvey with fear and anger in his eyes. "You bastard"
You leaned onto Clint, unable to sit up on your own. Your eyes were clenched tight as tears flowed down your cheeks.
“Owww…Harvey…” You whimpered
This seemed to have a different effect on Harvey. The rage in his face softened.
“Oh god…I…Y/N?” He kneeled down, dropping the bloody stone. “Oh, Y/N…”
You leaned onto him, shifting yourself off of Clint and onto Harvey. "Mmmph..hurts."
Clint watched the scene with a mix of jealousy and worry.
"Y/N?" Clint asked
"Are you okay?" His voice shook with anger and helplessness.
"No, I’m not okay! Someone just fucking bashed me with a rock!” You yelled, but didn’t move away from Harvey. Instead, you leaned into him more, needing comfort despite your anger.
Harvey didn’t reply; he just sat there in shock. He held you tightly to him, refusing to let you go.
He took a breath, shaking his head to get rid of his panic. Harvey's grip on you relaxed, though he still held you tight.
“I'm so sorry..." he whispered, kissing your forehead.
You gave him a wobbly smile. “..Thanks, just..patch me up? Please, doctor?"
Tears were still streaming down your cheeks, and you squinted up at him, trying to stay awake. “..think I’ve got a concussion.”
Harvey seemed to remember his role as the town doctor. He guided you to a table in the clinic and started to check you for a concussion.
He gently stroked your temples, looking concerned. He checked your eyes to make sure they still dilate properly.
~
It was several more months after ‘the incident’ until Harvey let you go near Clint.
“Hey, Harvey…” You said, walking into the clinic, "So...you know what happened with Clint? Well, uhm, I’ve got to go get my tools repaired.”
You twined your fingers with Harvey’s, trying to keep him calm. “And to do that..I’ve got to see Clint…”
"Clint?" Harvey muttered, looking anxiously at you. "Y/N...what for? You don’t need to see him."
“I’ve got to get my tools repaired, love,” you squeezed his hand “and he’s the only one who can do that.”
“No, Y/N, I won’t let you be anywhere near that creep.” Harvey said firmly. You could tell he was serious because his grip on your hand tightened for a split second.
“There, there,” he said, rubbing your back with his other hand. He seemed nervous but tried to appear calm. “I’ll take care of your tools, I promise.”
You laughed and leaned into his chest. “Harvey, you’re not a blacksmith; you can’t repair my tools…”
You looked up at him and cupped his face in your hands. “What will convince you to let me go?”
"No way." Harvey's voice was more stern now. He wasn’t taking no for an answer. "I've told you, I don't want you to be near Clint."
He suddenly pulled his face away from you. "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to let you go."
Harvey got close to your face, with a grim look on his. He leaned in slowly and whispered in your ear. "You're my boyfriend, so if I say you're not going anywhere, you're not going anywhere. Do you understand?"
You rolled your eyes. “Cmon, I think I have just the thing.”
You went up to Harvey’s bedroom and rummaged through the closet until you found the choker you wear for him on special occasions. It’s a black choker with a heart charm that says ‘Property of Harvey’.
You grabbed it and showed it to Harvey, knowing how much he loved it when you wore it. “Not even this?”
Harvey was trying his best to be firm, but the sight of you with that special choker was enough to weaken him. He slowly shook his head, his expression conflicted.
"Oh, Y/N." He sighed. "Alright, you win. But I'm coming with you, and if there's even a hint of trouble, I'm taking you straight back home. Understood?"
You gave him a playful grin. “understood. Are you this possessive over all your boyfriends? Or am I the only one?"
"Well..." Harvey said, his face grew warmer. He didn’t seem to want to say anything more.
Then, as if remembering that the situation called for seriousness, he took on a stern look and put his hands on your waist.
"Come on, we need to hurry. I'll be right beside you the whole time, and the whole time you'll be holding onto me. Do you understand?"
You blushed as he put his hands on your waist. "Oh! Uhm, okay, what’s the rush?”
"Clint," Harvey said, the firmness back in his voice. He seemed ready to get this over with as quickly as possible.
"We have to hurry so we don't spend too much time alone with him." He pulled you closer to him and held you by the waist.
"I need to prove to him that you don't want him and that you love me. So, let's go."
You kissed his cheek and handed him the choker. “You want to put this on me first?”
"Alright," Harvey said, taking the choker and hooking it around your neck. It felt... odd to have him put something around your neck when he's acting this way. Like he was claiming ownership of you.
He looked at you for a moment, making sure it was in the right place, and then finally started to lead you out of the room.
As the two of you walked to the town square, you noticed that he was leading you straight to Clint's workshop. You wondered if he'd chosen to confront Clint directly.
You took his hand as you walked. “Don’t do anything dumb, my love, please.”
Harvey took your hand and looked down at you. "I love you, Y-N. Just remember that, okay? I'm doing this for you."
Soon, you reached Clint's workshop. He was inside, smithing an iron sword. His back was turned away from you as he hammered away at the metal.
He seemed focused on his work to the point that he didn’t even notice that the two of you had approached.
You sighed and moved to hold onto Harvey’s arm. “Hey Clint”
With the sword just a few more seconds away from being done, Clint spun around to face you. His expression immediately turned to anger when he saw Harvey holding you tightly. Harvey's expression was equally furious as he looked back at Clint.
"Y/N, did Harvey put this thing on you?" Clint gestured to the heart choker around your neck.
You laughed and kissed Harvey’s cheek. “Well, it was my idea, but he did help me put it on.”
Clint narrowed his eyes as he made eye contact with Harvey. He took in Harvey's firm grasp on you. His eyes wandered down to the choker around your neck, noticing the "Property of Harvey" tag. He snorted, trying to hide his contempt.
"You think this means something?" he asked. "That necklace doesn't prove anything."
Harvey took great offense at Clint's words. He hugged you tightly to his chest and tried to shield you as much as possible from Clint's glare.
You rolled your eyes and wriggled a bit out of Harvey’s grasp, so you were standing next to him again, still holding onto his arm.
“I like it, and besides, I got it for Harvey’s birthday. So I would think that proves something.”
Clint's expression turned from anger to confusion; he seemed unsure how to respond to your words.
"You like that 'Property of Harvey' thing?" he asked with a mix of surprise and suspicion. "He seems to think of you as someone he can claim. A trophy or something."
"Well, I’m not literally his property." You laughed, “It’s not like I’m an object or something.”
"Then why are you still playing along with the 'Property of Harvey' thing?" Clint asked. His expression was still filled with doubt and suspicion.
"You must know he's acting like a jealous creep; I mean, just look at him!" He gestured at Harvey, who was watching this scene with a mixture of anger and protectiveness.
You looked up at Harvey, rolling your eyes affectionately. “It’s the only way he’d let me come here."
“He’s a bit overprotective,” you teased. “Besides, he likes it, and I don’t mind, so I don’t see a problem.”
"I don't think that's the whole story." Clint stared at you, trying to study your expression.
"Do you like him acting possessive?" Clint said. His expression didn’t seem angry anymore; it was more suspicious. "You like having a 'Property' tag around your neck?"
You laughed a bit. “What can I say? I’m a bit of a kinky bastard.”
"Uh, Y/N, that's not what I was trying to say..." Clint looked at you with a mix of confusion and suspicion.
"Wait, what do you mean by kinky?" He added with a raised eyebrow.
Meanwhile, Harvey was looking down at himself, suddenly feeling self-conscious about his possessiveness. “I'm not that possessive! Am I...?"
Clint went silent for a second. “So you like it rough, huh?”
Clint stepped closer and wrapped his hand around the choker, tugging on it hard.
“What about this?” He tugged on it again, determined to break it.
You flinched and stepped back, pushing Clint’s hand away. “Ow! What the hell, Clint?"
Harvey immediately wrapped you in his arms. Your neck felt hot and sensitive where Clint’s pulling was choking you a moment ago.
You could feel your lungs struggling to get back to normal. Harvey's touches your neck, gently feeling to make sure you’re okay.
"I've got you," he whispered, holding you close to him.
You wrapped your arms around him, beginning to cry. Harvey gently took the choker off and put it in his pocket. Bruises started to bloom across your neck where Clint yanked on the choker.
Harvey hugged you tightly, trying to comfort you. You cried into his embrace, burying your face in his chest.
"Don't cry, Y/N. I'm right here. I'll always keep you safe." He caressed your hair with one hand as the other embraced you from behind, making sure you knew he wasn't leaving you.
"Let's go home." He said, gently picking you up as if to remind you that you’re the most precious thing to him.
You would've normally protested him doing this in public, but instead you nuzzled your face into his shoulder and glared at Clint as Harvey carried you outside.
“Thank you,” you whispered to Harvey. You felt so safe in his arms, like all your worries had disappeared along with Clint's glare. Harvey smiled reassuringly.
"Come on," he said, "let me treat those bruises."
He carried you inside the clinic, where he immediately began to examine you with a mix of worry and tenderness.
"Oh dear, these look painful," he said as he started to clean the bruises on your neck.
You felt the cold of the antiseptic as he dabbed it gently on your neck. With his care and tenderness, he made it feel a little better.
He put the antiseptic away and began to wrap some bandages around the bruises on your neck.
"So...the choker...will you wear that often?" His tone was very casual, as if he were just making small talk. He looked down at you, sounding a little hopeful.
“You wish,” you kissed him gently. "... But after this..I think I might wear it more often…”
"You're...you're joking, right?" Harvey seemed shocked but somewhat pleased. He seemed to have a lot of questions but wasn’t sure how to phrase them without sounding weird.
"So, does that mean you'd be okay with wearing things like that all the time?" Harvey looked at you with a mix of curiosity and affection. You couldn’t help but notice the sudden intensity of the look he gave you.
“To be honest, as long as I’m not literally your property, I don’t mind…” You looked away, smiling shyly. “It makes me feel...wanted.”
Harvey chuckled softly. "You don't know how much you mean to me, Y/N; that's all I'll say." He touched your cheek affectionately.
"And don't worry," he added. "I would never actually treat you like property. I've just got a little bit of a...Well, let's say a jealousy problem. I'm working on it."
Harvey smiled at you and continued to wrap up bandages around your neck. After a moment, he stood up and stepped back to have a look at his work.
“Jealousy is an understatement,” you laughed, “but I don’t mind it as much as I probably should.”
"You really don't mind this... me acting all possessive?"
He leaned in closer to inspect the bandages he had wrapped around your neck. After a brief moment of silence, he stood up and brushed some hair out of your face.
You leaned into his touch. “Not terribly; besides, if you ever get too possessive, I’ll let you know.”
"You promise?" Harvey asked softly. He was still a little surprised at your lack of concern.
"I know I can be... intense sometimes, but...what if I go too far? Are you sure you'd let me know?" He looked straight into your eyes, seemingly waiting for you to assure him.
You cupped his face in your hands. “I promise. I’m not scared of you, love.”
Harvey looked into your eyes in surprise. He had never seen you be so forward or tender. The look you gave him was almost enough to make him forget about his anger with Clint.
"Y/N..." he breathed. "I...I..."
He trailed off for a moment, speechless. For a moment, you could see his mind spinning, trying to find the right words to say. Then, without warning, he pulled you into his arms and kissed you tenderly.
You kissed him back and grabbed the choker from his pocket. “Help me put it on?”
He looked down at the choker in your hand with a subtle smile on his lips.
"Oh... sure." He carefully took the choker from your fingers and put it around your neck. With its touch against your skin, you felt oddly safe.
"Better?" he asked, but his eyes lingered on the choker, as if he wasn’t so much checking on you as simply staring at this new adornment on your neck.
He didn’t take his eyes away, almost as if he were checking to make sure the choker was actually there, as if trying to confirm something.
"Much," you murmured as Harvey continued to stare at it with a little too much interest.
His gaze felt like it was examining every centimeter of the choker, trying to notice the smallest detail in its design.
His eyes flicked up to meet yours, and now they seemed to be examining every centimeter of you, making sure that he hadn’t missed any change in your demeanor.
You looked up at him, touching the ‘Property of Harvey’ charm. “I know how much you like it.”
"I mean…I would never really treat you like property," he repeated, still clearly worried that you might think of him as some kind of controlling freak.
"I just like being...possessive. Like, I don't want anyone else to have access to you or something. I guess it's just jealousy." He looked down, embarrassed, but there's no doubt in his words.
You leaned against his chest. “I don’t mind... It’s nice to feel wanted.”
"It doesn't bother you? The whole 'property' thing?" he asked softly. His eyes were still firmly set on the choker around your neck.
"Wearing something that belongs to me; a little reminder of it even when my arms are not around you?"
His fingers brushed the edges of the choker around your neck. You could tell he's enjoying the feeling of touching it.
"Are you sure you don't mind that? Are you not the least bit bothered at being reminded that you're mine?"
“I really don’t... I haven’t felt wanted like this for a long time,” you closed your eyes, “even if you can be a bit overprotective."
You laughed a bit. “You did try to kill Clint…”
You looked away and frowned, touching the bandages around your neck. “..After today, I kinda wish you had…”
Harvey looked down at the bandages around your neck and sighed softly.
"Yeah... that was a stupid thing I did," he said, a little guilt creeping into his words.
"But if I had killed him, would I still have been able to hold you like this? Would I still be able to remind you that you're mine with a touch?"
He paused, his expression turning serious. "You mean a lot to me, Y/N. I would never do anything that could push you away."
“..I think I could forgive you,” you looked up at Harvey, wincing as the bruises from Clint tugging on the choker started to ache. “Just don’t kill anyone without my permission, okay?”
Harvey's eyes went wide as he realized the bruises on your neck were hurting you.
"Oh my God, Y/N," he said, gently rubbing at your neck. "I had no idea they were causing you that much pain."
His whole manner changed as he tended to your wounds, shifting from someone determined to claim you as his to a tender, caring figure.
"I'll go buy some cream for those... I'm going to make sure you're comfortable, even if it means getting rid of the choker."
“Woah, woah, woah,” you said, grabbing him and pulling him back, “you can keep fixing me up tomorrow."
You yawned, “But now I’m tired and probably a bit traumatized.”
"Don't worry," he said gently, trying to calm you down. "We don't have to deal with this now. You just need to rest and focus on getting better."
He took a deep breath and nodded, his mind already racing with ideas about what to do next.
"I'll take care of you; that's all that matters right now." He leaned in and kissed your forehead gently. "We can deal with all the other stuff tomorrow. For now, just rest."
“Yeah, let’s go to bed." You followed him up to his bedroom and changed into some of Harvey’s pajamas before lying down in his bed.
Harvey climbed into bed next to you. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into him.
"Goodnight, Y/N." He kissed you gently and turned off the light, leaving the two of you alone in the darkness.
"Goodnight, Harvey,” you said as you closed your eyes and fell asleep.
"Goodnight, my love," he said softly. He stroked your hair gently and listened to the sound of your breathing as you slept.
"I'm glad you're safe and back home with me, Y/N." He closed his eyes, but his mind was too busy thinking about how close he came to losing you for good to really fall asleep.
A few hours later, you were woken up by the sound of Harvey walking back into the room. As you looked up at him and realized that he’s covered in blood, “You didn't.”
"Yeah," he said, his voice dripping with an odd mixture of guilt and pride. "I killed Clint. You're mine now. Forever."
He stood there for a moment, letting the whole idea sink in. "You're safe here, Y/N. No one will ever hurt you again."
He leaned down and kissed you gingerly, as if he were expecting a reprimand for hurting Clint.
Noticing the bandaged bruises on your neck, he frowned and stroked them tenderly. "You're mine, Y/N... All mine."
You sighed but smiled at his affection. “I guess he did deserve it; I’m all yours.”
"Good." He nodded, as if pleased with your quick acceptance. "As if I could ever doubt that."
It was weird to see him covered in blood like this, but in a way, it was kind of hot to see him willing to murder for you. You felt a little bad for Clint, but it was inevitable that someone would get hurt over this.
Harvey's eyes were filled with a fierce, primal satisfaction as he looked at you. "I'm going to get cleaned up now. Do me a favor and stay right here."
You laid back down “Will do.”
You listened to him shower off the blood and change into clean clothes.
Harvey emerged from the bathroom dressed in a fresh, clean shirt. He still smelled like soap as he leaned down to kiss your forehead.
"I'm glad you're not mad," he said softly. "I did it to protect you, my love."
He seemed genuinely unsure of how you would react to his actions. As if he was still expecting you to be angry, disappointed, or scared. "Are you okay with my... actions?"
“As much as I generally don’t condone murder,” you kissed his cheek. “I think I’ll make an exception, just this once.”
He smiled and nodded, seeming relieved by your answer.
"Good." His eyes lit up as you kissed his cheek. "So you're not scared, either?"
"Just to be clear, Y-N... you're okay with being with a murderer? The idea of me, a guy who just took a life, doesn't bother you?" He paused for a moment, looking down at his hands with a troubled expression.
"You... forgive me?"
"Yeah,” you cupped his face in your hands. “But ask me before you do it again, okay? There’s people in this town I’d like to keep alive.”
He looked down at your hands and smiled. "Of course, Y-N. I can't promise you that I won't kill anyone who tries to hurt you, though. You're too precious to me."
He took your hands and kissed their fingertips softly. "But I'll always ask you first. Okay? I need to know whether you fully support my actions or not. I love you too much to kill anyone who doesn't have your stamp of approval."

Yandere!Harvey x Sick!Reader
"Gah, you're so hot...!
As the minutes passed, your conversation fizzled out into an equally comfortable silence.
Because he loved you more than anything and anyone, and he wanted you to feel the same more than anything.

pumpkin pretzels with harvey from stardew valley?
Yo anon, there's a Yan Harvey mod for Stardew Valley sooo...
Taglist: @yanderefangirl
🎃 Pumpkin pretzels- (Carving pumpkins)
Harvey was carving pumpkins with you- after stockholm.
You were so sweet now, he decided to let you have a little treat of pumpkin seeds [after thoroughly cleaned, of course.], can't have you getting a disease from pumpkin seeds, he'd feel bad.
Although, then you would have to rely on him more...
He shakes those thoughts out of his mind as he washes the inside of the pumpkins, two. One for him, one for you, bought from the nice farmer who had a few to sell to the villagers. He preferred it that rather than buying from Pierre.
You had a longing look on your face as you stood on your tippy-toes to reach the pumpkins. He picked you up and set you on your chair. Although you had certainly grown under his care, you were still so tiny to him.
He handed you the playset he got from Pierre who sold it to Jodi and Marnie as well, so that Vincent and Jas could carve pumpkins too. He watched you closely as you picked up the knife.
What if you cut yourself? What if you stabbed the inside of the pumpkin to hard and couldn't get it out? What if? What if? Questions run in his mind all the while you mess with your pumpkin, but he steels himself to not put all the focus onto you.
He focuses onto his pumpkin, still clearing his mind so he could hear if you breathed differently or if you ran the risk of hurting yourself.
He wanted to make you on the pumpkin, to immortalize you in this fleeting lifeform.
He smiles at you as you put the pumpkin right next to him and tug on his sleeve. "Yes sweetie?" He swears if it was possible, he would have a heart attack from how cute you are, wanting Papa to see your creation on the pumpkin.
You end the night with a snack of pumpkin seeds and a promise of Pumpkin pie tomorrow if you're good.
He's so glad he took you home where you belonged.

Yan!Harvey x reader hcs!
Tumblr media
Note: Hi yeah this is my first time writing hcs in general so please be easy on me. Contains soft yandere ofc so if you’re not into that please block the yandere tag I’m gonna put on this! These were quick hcs that have been on my mind so if it’s all over the place I apologize. Now enjoy the hcs while I forget this exists :]!
-First time Harvey met y/n was when he was on break. Y/n walking up to him with a warm smile and a cup of coffee, introducing themselves as the new farmer as they handed him the coffee. A strange introduction, but one that for some reason stuck with Harvey. How did they know he liked coffee, why did they have such a warm look in their eyes, and why did it make his heart beat a bit faster?
-At first Harvey didn't know what was happening. Every time y/n came to talk to him, he would feel his face getting warm and his hands get clammy. He didn't want to believe it, but he might have a crush on the farmer. Harvey couldn't wrap his head around how his feelings developed so fast, but love at first sight is a thing.
-Harvey started looking forward to y/n's visits, thinking of the different things they might talk about. Would they have another cup of coffee for him? Maybe tell him about their day? He enjoyed listening to them talk about their farm work, but them talking about their work in the mines made him worry. The sparkle in their eyes as they talked and asked but his day washed away any worry though, replacing it with an overwhelming feeling of love which made his face go red.
-That feeling would suddenly turn ice cold when he saw y/n talking to anyone else. Sure they had to go out and meet others, but was that really necessary? He's sure they could have only a few good friends and be fine, they could even just be friends with him! He makes good company!
-(Sam getting caught off guard when he glances behind y/n, seeing the doctor giving him a harsh glare. The hell’s up with him?)
-The more he gets to know y/n, the more they occupy his mind. First thing in the morning, when he's treating patients, organizing files, and when going to bed. The only thing on Harvey's mind is how excited he is about seeing y/n again.
-(Maru has on many occasions caught him staring off into space in the middle of a task. It was concerning to her and she'd ask if he's ok, to which he'd go red with embarrassment-)
-This has also led to Harvey being much more clumsy than usual. The sight of y/n taking up all his attention to the point he drops things and trips much more often. He curses himself for being like this in front of them, but he can't help it. When they help pick up anything he's dropped or rush to help him up, it just gives him more reason to love them.
-Something that others have noticed is wherever y/n is, Harvey just so happens to be close by, popping up randomly when they’re around someone else. If y/n is hanging out with Sebastian in his room Robin will come down to say that Harvey was looking for them. If they were hanging out with Shane at the saloon their conversation would be interrupted by the doctor clearly trying to join in. Y/n can’t help but let Harvey stick around, thinking that hanging out with someone familiar will help him talk to others. (Harvey takes this as a sign that they want him around. Maybe they’re even developing feelings for him? He sure hopes so.) -Y/n doesn’t know why Harvey’s been calling them in for a lot of check ups. Maru is starting to get suspicious. (Maru giving y/n a confused look as they wait in a chair. “Didn’t you have a check up last week?” y/n just shrugged. Before Maru could ask anything else the door beside her opened, a cheerful looking Harvey greeting y/n and walking them inside.) -Maru would confront Harvey on this, but would be taken aback by the stoney eyed look that he gave. From then on she keeps track of how many times they’ve come in. (She’s been trying to feel out the situation by asking how they feel around Harvey and how he's been acting, but it’s not easy when said man is always around-) -Y/n is top priority when it comes to treating injuries. Harvey doesn’t care if someone’s been waiting longer or is in much worse condition, he doesn’t want his sweetheart to be in pain! Always rushing y/n in for the simplest things like a scraped knee, or a broken arm. Every time, Harvey will have them stay longer than needed so he can watch over them.
-(He enjoys the alone time. Finally no one butting into your conversations and taking your attention away! Though, that's recently been interrupted by Maru pulling Harvey aside to demand he let y/n go. A problem he'll deal with once y/n's gone.)
-Harvey isn't one to be violent or confront people. But even if he won't be the one causing the pain, he will prolong it. He isn't above withholding medicine from certain people he's seen getting too comfortable around his love. Even suggesting that they might just have a low pain tolerance and that they don't need medicine.

harvey would make a GREAT yandere imo. like?? nervous obsessive boy that would be able to sabotage and fuck with the prescriptions of anyone trying to get between him and his darling?? people going missing and no one suspecting him bc hes just too ‘weak’?? him giving his darling the wrong medicine so they keep getting sick and are eventually bed-bound in his clinic and reliant on him??? hi????????
It's wonderful yandere potential! Harvey would keep you sick and weak so he has reasons to visit you every day, his examinations becoming more and more personal as he brushes away your worries with a simple "It's my job, I'm a doctor".
Soon he says you're just too sick to keep working, but not to worry! He'll keep you by him around the clock! You can just stay in his room while he goes to work, don't worry about the sudden disappearances or the towns people no longer asking about you, just focus on letting him heal you and loving you entirely <3

Yandere Dr. Harvey x Reader with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (part 1)
Haha... Hahaha... This is definitely not me being self-indulgent haha! I would never.... Yes I would. And this is. Also I do plan to make more general headcanons for Yandere Harvey with a chronically ill reader, alongside the other romance candidates.
I finally finished part one, lol.
TW: Chronic Illness (EoE), Hospital/Clinic Settings, Manipulation, Anxiety
Sitting in Dr. Harvey's office, you watch as he gathers his tools for the check-up. A stethoscope, a blood pressure cuff, and a few other small instruments that he usually uses for his work. He places them all on the nearby desk
He turns to you, grinning happily. "How do you feel today?" You take a moment, before saying "I feel alright. My condition hasn't gotten any better or any worse. If anything, I just feel a little tired, today." His smile falters slightly, before returning "That's alright. It is always great whenever things don't get worse, right? Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, is what I like to say!"
You chuckle, nodding "Yeah! For me I like to prepare for the worst and hope for the mediocre. That way, when good things come, it feels even better! Haha!" You slowly trail off, seeing that Dr. Harvey doesn't look as amused as you are. You then sit there, awkwardly, as he prepares the blood pressure cuff. "Can you raise your arm for a second, so I can put the cuff on?"
Doing so, he slips the cuff around your arm. Then, he inflated the cuff, taking your blood pressure. His brows furrow together as he listens, before he removes the cuff rather quickly. "Your blood pressure is a bit low... Did you eat this morning?"
Your eyes widen, before you shake your head in shame. "No... I uh... I forgot." He frowns, clearly not believing you. Grabbing his stethoscope, again, he says "It is important to eat breakfast, otherwise you won't have enough energy to go about your day... How often would you say you eat in a day, on average?"
You think about what you have eaten that week, before saying "Umm... I believe I usually have lunch and dinner. Sometimes, I will have a small snack in the morning. I'm just not that hungry in the morning." You shrug, continuing "I take a long time to eat, too, so I just get full quicker. I think I'm fine, really."
Harvey sighs, before continuing with the check-up. "Hold still, okay? I need to listen to your heart and lungs." He places one hand on your back as he presses the diaphragm of the stethoscope against your chest. You begin to feel a bit nervous. What if something is wrong with you? Outside of your EoE, that is? You do know it would be healthier to eat a bit more, it just hurts enough that you just don't want to. Maybe your poor diet has caused other problems...
You are knocked out of your thoughts by the sudden realization that Harvey is taking quite a while to listen to your heart and lungs. He hasn't even moved the stethoscope to another part of your chest or to your back, yet, like he usually does. You look around the room, feeling awkward, before you get a brief look at Harvey's face. His expression seems to be one that is completely zoned out, almost like he is distracted by something. He notices you looking at him, however, and snaps out of it. He quickly continues the check-up, saying "Let's... Let's go on to something else..."
He then takes your temperature, your height, your weight, and checks your ears. He takes out a clipboard, before asking some questions. "How has the medication been going?" "Has your breathing been okay?" "Do you have any concerns about your health?" You answer each as best as you can.
You grow even more concerned than you already are as Harvey looks down to the clipboard, an odd expression on his face. Then, he looks up to you, saying "Would it be alright if I voice some concerns I have? I don't want to alarm you, but I feel it is important that you know about them." You feel yourself tense up, but nod slowly. If your doctor is concerned, you want to know what it is about.
Harvey places the clipboard down, saying "I know that you can live a healthy, fulfilling life. So, please, don't take this the wrong way. I am just... concerned about your career choice of being a farmer. As far as I am aware, you went from a desk job at Joja, which required low physical effort, immediately to a highly taxing job on a farm with no help at all. With your poor diet, you don't seem to have that much energy... You have mentioned how you neglect eating in the morning sometimes..." He then picks up the clipboard again, pointing at it, continuing his explanation "The results of your vital signs show that your blood pressure is low today, as it was the last time you were here, which was only a week ago. For the past three check-ups you have claimed that you feel tired."
You tilt your head, wondering where he is going with this. He sighs, shaking his head "I am not necessarily concerned with your decision of being a farmer in general. I am sure that you will be a very successful farmer, in fact, and I want you to follow that dream! I am mostly concerned with just how fast you are going about it. You went from Joja to farming with little to no time in-between to become more physically fit, care for your health conditions that might be impacted by farming, and to just... ease into this new environment. You have said it yourself during other appointments with me. Due to your poor eating and various food allergies, you do not have enough energy to go to the gym or exercise in general. Farming requires a lot of fitness, with the harvesting of plants, working of the land, cutting down the trees and pulling the weeds... your seasonal allergies can also worsen your EoE. The pollen from your plants might worsen it, too...."
You begin to understand what he is saying. You remember the numerous times you have passed out while working late into the night to make up for your slow work. The allergy medications you have been taking haven't been working as well as when you were in Zuzu City, too, which might mean that there is a different allergen in the area of Pelican Town that you are allergic to. You ask "Well... What do you want me to do? Quit?"
His eyes widen, before he frantically shakes his head. "No! No, no, no! I was just wondering if, maybe, you could get some help for a few months? Just until you into better shape. Like, someone can come onto the farm to help you with the tasks. That way, you don't have to expend as much energy, and have more energy to go out and do... Not farm things? Like, going to the store, socializing, going on casual walks... That sort of stuff! Then, once you feel comfortable enough to go back to working on your own, you can go back to doing that." You shrug, asking "Who would help me out? I don't have enough money to pay anyone-" "I'd help you on the farm. For free."
Your eyes widen in shock, surprised from the sudden, and rather excited offer. You are about to reject his offer, saying that he has enough work at the clinic as it is. He may not have time to help you, or he may overwork himself... but, then, you see the oddest look in his eyes. He looks like he has been wanting to offer his help for a while. His eyes look like they are beaming with joy, his smile splitting from ear to ear, and his hands clasped together in front of his chest. You decide that it might just be best to go along with his suggestion. You have a feeling he won't take no for an answer.
You put on a weary smile, nodding your head. "Sure... how about you help me out after 3 P.M.? That way, it won't get in the way of your work." He happily nods his head, chuckling "Of course! I would love to! I have a feeling things will go great! Just don't be too harsh if I get things wrong. I am a doctor, not a farmer, after all!"

Elliott and Harvey are definitely my favorite bachelors so far in Stardew
I’ve been playing for a few weeks now (I think, time escapes me) and I suppose I’m just a fan of older men. I suppose Shane could also count… but… well, I hear that if the marriage goes off he will go back to drinking and blame it on you??? I just saw that and felt a massive ick. Totally get why people love their depressed man, though!
But back to Elliott. I just started a new farm (Honeybuzz) and he’s gonna be my romance, since on my other farm (Whittlebrooke) I romanced Harvey. And now I keep seeing like… yandere Elliott mods and stuff and I’m just sitting here… a massive yandere fan…
Sobbing and crying, I’ve made such good progress on my farm and now I wanna quit to get that mod for Elliott. But it’s probably better to see his normal romance and then compare it to the mod, right???
I barely even get how the mod works so dhsofjskjdw
