Okay, @stanfordsweater has started up Wincest Wednesday again by just encouraging everyone to send people wincest asks about whatever, so: thoughts on Sam and Dean as a QPR who fuck nasty? Any headcannons there, perhaps?

Ohhhh hell yeah!

Okay first of all, for those not acquainted with the term, QPR stands for queerplatonic relationship which is pretty much a committed platonic relationship that is very popular in the aromantic spaces. Gencest/Weirdcest can be described as QPRs as there's no romance involved.

Now to my thoughts. There's two ways Dean and Sam would start fucking.

1) It started very early on with mildly inappropriate touches which escalated until Sam left for Stanford and after they got back together in S1 it just started and escalated even more.

2) They have never touched in that way. They are really close and unabashed about showing up naked or openly talking about their sexual lives. Then one day they just decide to try it out with each other. (in my mind this happens in bunker era) And they get a bit obsessed with it.

Either way by the time we reach s10-s11 or so they fuck nasty. We are talking aggressively and needy and outright kinky sometimes. Nobody could ever get them to that soft spot of pleasure like each other. Because Dean knew what made Sam tick and Sam knew what Dean liked.

They don't openly show off the fact they are fucking but they don't work to hard to hide it either. They don't think it's wrong btw. They just know that other people will be bothered by that tidbit of information so they keep quiet about it. But it's not wrong. It can't be. Not when it feels so right to them.

In my mind they stop sleeping with other people around s12. Or they sleep with other people very rarely. Because they know nobody could give them the same pleasure the other can.

It's not romantic. Not by a long shot. Sometimes Dean tickles Sam right after or shoves him off the bed. Sometimes Sam would just show up in the kitchen announcing like it's no one's business that they would go fuck now. It doesn't have a romantic preamble or anything. It's just Sam asking for something and Dean providing. It's just Dean needing something and Sam giving it to him.
