Tony Bennett, Jazzy Crooner of the American Songbook, Is Dead at 96
From his initial success at the Paramount in Times Square through his generation-spanning duets, his career was remarkable for both its longevity and its consistency.
By Bruce Weber
July 21, 2023
Tony Bennett, a singer whose melodic clarity, jazz-influenced phrasing, audience-embracing persona and warm, deceptively simple interpretations of musical standards helped spread the American songbook around the world and won him generations of fans, died on Friday at his home of many decades in Manhattan. He was 96.
His publicist, Sylvia Weiner, announced his death.
Mr. Bennett learned he had Alzheimer’s disease in 2016, his wife, Susan Benedetto, told AARP The Magazine in February 2021. But he continued to perform and record despite his illness; his last public performance was in August 2021, when he appeared with Lady Gaga at Radio City Music Hall in a show titled “One Last Time.”
Mr. Bennett’s career of more than 70 years was remarkable not only for its longevity, but also for its consistency. In hundreds of concerts and club dates and more than 150 recordings, he devoted himself to preserving the classic American popular song, as written by Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Duke Ellington, Rodgers and Hammerstein and others.
From his initial success as a jazzy crooner who wowed audiences at the Paramount in Times Square in the early 1950s, through his late-in-life duets with younger singers gleaned from a range of genres and generations — most notably Lady Gaga, with whom he recorded albums in 2014 and 2021 and toured in 2015 — he was an active promoter of both songwriting and entertaining as timeless, noble pursuits.
Mr. Bennett stubbornly resisted record producers who urged gimmick songs on him, or, in the 1960s and early ’70s, who were sure that rock ’n’ roll had relegated the music he preferred to a dusty bin perused only by a dwindling population of the elderly and nostalgic.
Instead, he followed in the musical path of the greatest American pop singers of the 20th century — Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra — and carried the torch for them into the 21st. He reached the height of stardom in 1962 with a celebrated concert at Carnegie Hall and the release of his signature song, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.” And though he saw his popularity wane with the onset of rock and his career went through a trough in the 1970s, when professional difficulties were exacerbated by a failing marriage and drug problems, he was, in the end, more than vindicated in his musical judgment.
“I wanted to sing the great songs, songs that I felt really mattered to people,” he said in “The Good Life” (1998), an autobiography written with Will Friedwald.
It’s hard to overstate Mr. Bennett’s lasting appeal. He was still singing “San Francisco” — which led many people to think he was a native of that city, though he was actually a through-and-through New Yorker — more than half a century later. He sang on Ed Sullivan’s show and David Letterman’s. He sang with Rosemary Clooney when she was in her 20s, and Celine Dion when she was in her 20s.
He made his film debut in 1966, in a critically reviled Hollywood story, “The Oscar,” playing a man betrayed by an old friend. And though he did not pursue an acting career, decades later he was playing himself in movies like the Robert De Niro-Billy Crystal gangster comedy “Analyze This” and the Jim Carrey vehicle “Bruce Almighty.” He was 64 when he appeared as a cartoon version of himself on “The Simpsons.” He was 82 when he appeared on the HBO series “Entourage,” performing one of his trademark songs, “The Good Life.”
A lifelong liberal Democrat, Mr. Bennett participated in the Selma-to-Montgomery civil rights march in 1965, and, along with Harry Belafonte, Sammy Davis Jr. and others, performed at the Stars for Freedom rally on the City of St. Jude campus on the outskirts of Montgomery on March 24, the night before the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the address that came to be known as the “How Long? Not Long” speech. At the conclusion of the march, Viola Liuzzo, a volunteer from Michigan, drove Mr. Bennett to the airport; she was murdered later that day by members of the Ku Klux Klan.
Mr. Bennett also performed for Nelson Mandela, then the president of South Africa, during his state visit to England in 1996. He sang at the White House for John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton, and at Buckingham Palace at Queen Elizabeth II’s 50th anniversary jubilee.
An ‘Elusive’ Voice
He won his first two Grammy Awards, for “San Francisco,” in 1963, and his last, for the album “Love for Sale,” with Lady Gaga, last year. Altogether there were 20 of them, including, in 2001, a lifetime achievement award. By some estimates, he sold more than 60 million records.
The talent that spawned this success and popularity was not so easy to define. Neither a fluid singer nor an especially powerful one, he did not have the mellifluous timbre of Crosby or the rakish swing of Sinatra. If Armstrong’s tone was distinctively gravelly, Mr. Bennett’s wasn’t quite; “sandy” was more like it. Almost no one denied that his voice was appealing, but critics strove mightily to describe it, and then to justify its appeal.
“The voice that is the basic tool of Mr. Bennett’s trade is small, thin and somewhat hoarse,” John S. Wilson wrote in The New York Times in 1962. “But he uses it shrewdly and with a skillful lack of pretension.”
In a 1974 profile, Whitney Balliett, the longtime jazz critic for The New Yorker, called Mr. Bennett “an elusive singer.”
“He can be a belter who reaches rocking fortissimos,” Mr. Balliett wrote. “He drives a ballad as intensely and intimately as Sinatra. He can be a lilting, glancing jazz singer. He can be a low-key, searching supper-club performer.” But, he added, “Bennett’s voice binds all his vocal selves together.”
Most simply, perhaps, the composer and critic Alec Wilder said about Mr. Bennett’s voice, “There is a quality about it that lets you in.”
Indeed, what many listeners (including the critics) discovered about Mr. Bennett, and what they responded to, was something intangible: the care with which he treated both the song and the audience.
He had a storyteller’s grace with a lyric, a jazzman’s sureness with a melody, and in his finest performances he delivered them with a party giver’s welcome, a palpable and infectious affability. In his presentation, the songs he loved and sang — “Just in Time,” “The Best Is Yet to Come,” “Rags to Riches” and “I Wanna Be Around,” to name a handful of his emblematic hits — became engaging, life-embracing parables.
Frank Sinatra, whom Mr. Bennett counted as a mentor and friend, once put it another way.
“For my money, Tony Bennett is the best singer in the business,” he told Life magazine in 1965. “He excites me when I watch him. He moves me. He’s the singer who gets across what the composer has in mind, and probably a little more.”
Mr. Bennett passed through life with as unscathed a public image as it is possible for a celebrity to have. Finding even mild criticism of him in reviews and interviews is no mean feat, and even his outspoken liberalism generally failed to attract vitriol from the right. (An exception was his call, after the drug-related deaths of Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston, for the legalization of drugs, a view loudly denounced by William J. Bennett, the former drug czar, among others.)
With the possible exception of his former wives, everyone, it seemed, loved Tony Bennett. Skeptical journalists would occasionally try to pierce what they perceived as his perfect veneer, but they generally discovered that there wasn’t much to pierce.
“Bennett is outrageous,” Simon Hattenstone, a reporter for The Guardian, wrote in 2002. “He mythologizes himself, name-drops every time he opens his mouth, directs you to his altruism, is self-congratulatory to the point of indecency. He should be intolerable, but he’s one of the sweetest, most humble men I’ve ever met.”
Son of Queens
Anthony Dominick Benedetto was born on Aug. 3, 1926, in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens, and grew up in that borough in working-class Astoria. His father, Giovanni, had emigrated from Calabria, in southern Italy, at age 11. His mother, Anna (Suraci) Benedetto, was born in New York in 1899, having made the sea journey from Italy in the womb. Their marriage was arranged. Giovanni and Anna were cousins; their mothers were sisters.
In New York, where Giovanni Benedetto became John, he was a grocer, but beleaguered by poor health and often unable to work. Anna was a factory seamstress and took in additional sewing to support the family. Anthony was their third child, their second son, and the first of any Benedetto to be born in a hospital. Giovanni, who sang Italian folk songs to his children — “My father inspired my love for music,” Mr. Bennett wrote in his autobiography — died when Anthony was 10.
Anthony sang from an early age, and drew and painted, too. He would become a creditable painter as an adult, mostly landscapes and still lifes in watercolors and oils and portraits of musicians he admired, signing his paintings “Benedetto.” His first music teacher arranged for him to sing alongside Mayor Fiorello La Guardia at the opening of the Triborough Bridge (now the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge) in 1936.
For a time he attended the High School for Industrial Arts (now called the High School of Art and Design) in Manhattan, but he never graduated. He dropped out and found work as a copy boy for The Associated Press, in a laundry and as an elevator operator.
“I couldn’t figure out how to get the elevator to stop at the right place,” he recalled. “People ended up having to crawl out between floors.”
At night he performed at amateur shows and worked as a singing waiter. He had just begun to get paying work as a singer, using the stage name Joe Bari, when he was drafted.
He arrived in Europe toward the end of World War II, serving in Germany in the infantry. He spent time on the front lines, an experience he described as “a front-row seat in hell,” and was among the troops who arrived to liberate the prisoners at the Landsberg concentration camp, a subcamp of Dachau.
After Germany surrendered, Mr. Bennett was part of the occupying forces, assigned to special services, where he ended up as a singer with Army bands and for a time was featured in a ragtag version of the musical “On the Town” — directed by Arthur Penn, who would go on to direct “Bonnie and Clyde” and other notable movies — in the opera house in Wiesbaden.
He returned to New York in August 1946 and set about beginning a career as a musician. On the G.I. Bill, he took classes at the American Theater Wing, which he later said helped teach him how to tell a story in song. He sang in nightclubs in Manhattan and Queens.
A series of breaks followed. He appeared on the radio show “Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts,” the “American Idol” of its day. (The competition was won by Rosemary Clooney.) There are different versions of the biggest break in Mr. Bennett’s early career, but as he told it in “The Good Life,” he had been singing occasionally at a club in Greenwich Village where the owner had offered Pearl Bailey a gig as the headliner; she agreed, but only on the condition that Joe Bari stayed on the bill.
When Bob Hope came down to take in Ms. Bailey’s act, he liked Joe Bari so much that he asked him to open for him at the Paramount Theater. Hope had a condition, however: He didn’t like the name Joe Bari, and insisted it be changed. Dismissing the name Anthony Benedetto as too long to fit on a marquee, Hope christened the young singer Tony Bennett.
The Hits Roll In
The producer Mitch Miller signed Mr. Bennett to Columbia Records in 1950; “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” was his first single. Miller was known for his hit-making prowess, a gift that often involved matching talented singers with novelty songs or having them cover hits by others, for which he was criticized by more serious music fans and sometimes by the singers themselves.
He and Mr. Bennett had a contentious relationship. Mr. Bennett resisted his attempts at gimmickry; Miller, who believed that the producer and not the singer was in charge of a recording, applied his authority. Still, together they achieved grand success.
By mid-1951, Mr. Bennett had his first No. 1 hit, “Because of You.” That same year, his version of the Hank Williams ballad “Cold, Cold Heart” also hit No. 1; three years after Williams died in 1953, Mr. Bennett performed it in his honor at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Other trademark songs followed: “Rags to Riches” in 1953; “Stranger in Paradise,” from the Broadway show “Kismet,” also in 1953; Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green’s “Just in Time,” from the show “Bells Are Ringing,” in 1956. That same year, Mr. Bennett was host of his own television variety show, a summer replacement for a similar show that starred another popular Italian American crooner, Perry Como. In 1958, he recorded two albums with the Count Basie band, introducing him to the jazz audience.
In the 1950s, Mr. Bennett toured for the first time, played Las Vegas for the first time and got married for the first time, to Patricia Beech, a fan who had seen him perform in Cleveland. The marriage would flounder in the 1960s, overwhelmed by Mr. Bennett’s perpetual touring, but their two sons would end up playing roles in Mr. Bennett’s career: the older one, D’Andrea, known as Danny, became his father’s manager, and Daegal, known as Dae, became a music producer and recording engineer.
In July 1961, Mr. Bennett was performing in Hot Springs, Ark., and about to head to the West Coast when Ralph Sharon, his longtime pianist, played him a song written by George Cory and Douglass Cross that had been moldering in a drawer for two years. Mr. Sharon and Mr. Bennett decided that it would be perfect for their next date, at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, and it was.
They recorded the song — of course it was “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” — six months later, in January 1962. It won Mr. Bennett his first two Grammys, for best male solo performance and record of the year, and worldwide fame. In “The Good Life,” he wrote that he was often asked if he ever tired of singing it.
“I answer, ‘Do you ever get tired of making love?’” he wrote.
Just five months later, Mr. Bennett performed at Carnegie Hall with Mr. Sharon and a small orchestra. He got sensational reviews — though The Times’s was measured — and the recording of the concert is now considered a classic.
But as the 1960s proceeded and rock ’n’ roll became dominant, Mr. Bennett’s popularity began to slip. In 1969, he succumbed to the pressure of the new president of Columbia Records, Clive Davis, to record his versions of contemporary songs, and the result, “Tony Sings the Great Hits of Today!” — including the Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby” and “Something” — was a musical calamity, a record that Mr. Bennett would later tell an interviewer made him vomit.
His relationship with Columbia soured further and finally ended, and by the middle of the 1970s Mr. Bennett had formed his own company, Improv Records, on which he recorded the first of two of his most critically admired albums, duets with the jazz pianist Bill Evans. (The second one was released on Evans’s label, Fantasy.) Together the two opened the Newport Jazz Festival, which had moved to New York, at Carnegie Hall in 1976.
Improv went out of business in 1977, and without a recording contract Mr. Bennett relied more and more on Las Vegas, then in decline, for regular work. His mother died that year, and the profligate life he had been living in Beverly Hills caught up with him; the Internal Revenue Service was threatening to take his house. His second marriage, a tumultuous one to the actress Sandra Grant, collapsed — she would later say that she would have been better off if she had married her previous boyfriend, Joe DiMaggio — and he had begun using marijuana and cocaine heavily.
One day in 1979, high and in a panic, he took a bath to calm down and nearly died in the tub. In later years he would play down the seriousness of the event, but he wrote about it in “The Good Life,” describing what he called a near-death experience: “A golden light enveloped me in a warm glow. It was quite peaceful; in fact, I had the sense that I was about to embark on a very compelling journey. But suddenly I was jolted out of the vision. The tub was overflowing and Sandra was standing above me. She’d heard the water running for too long, and when she came in I wasn’t breathing. She pounded on my chest and literally brought me back to life.”
Mr. Bennett turned to his older son for help. Danny Bennett took over the management of his career, aiming to have the American musical standards that were his strength, and his handling of them, perceived as hip by a new generation.
Somewhat surprisingly, the strategy took hold. An article in Spin magazine, which was founded in 1985, declared Mr. Bennett and James Brown as the two foremost influences on rock ’n’ roll, and the magazine followed up with a long, admiring profile.
A Career Revival
Encouraged by executive changes at Columbia Records, Mr. Bennett returned to the Columbia fold in 1985. The next year he released the album “The Art of Excellence.” WBCN in Boston became the first rock station to give it regular airplay. Released in the emerging CD format, it spurred the sales of Mr. Bennett’s back catalog as music fans began replacing their vinyl records with CDs.
In 1993, Mr. Bennett was a presenter, along with two members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, at MTV’s Video Music Awards. The next year he gave an hourlong performance for MTV’s “Unplugged” series, which included duets with K.D. Lang (with whom he would later tour) and Elvis Costello. The recording of the show won the Grammy for album of the year.
The revival of Mr. Bennett’s career was complete. Not only had he returned to the kind of popularity he had enjoyed 40 years earlier, but he had also been accepted by an entirely new audience.
He recorded albums that honored musicians he admired — Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday — and he collaborated on standards with singers half, or less than half, his age. On the 2006 album “Duets: An American Classic,” he sang “If I Ruled the World” with Ms. Dion, “Smile” with Barbra Streisand and “For Once in My Life” with Stevie Wonder, and revisited his first Columbia single, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” with Sting. Five years later, on “Duets II,” his collaborators included Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson and Ms. Winehouse.
As the century changed, he was once again touring, giving up to 200 performances a year, and recording prolifically.
In 2007 Mr. Bennett married a third time, to his longtime companion, Susan Crow, a teacher four decades his junior whom he had met in the late 1980s. Together they started a foundation, Exploring the Arts, that supports arts education in schools, and financed the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, a public high school in Queens.
Mr. Bennett had lived in the same Manhattan apartment, where he died, for most of his adult life, except for a few years in Los Angeles and London, Ms. Weiner, his publicist, said. He is survived by his wife; his sons, Danny and Dae; his daughters, Johanna and Antonia Bennett; and 9 grandchildren.
If there was a magical quality to Mr. Bennett’s life, as suggested by David Evanier in a glowing 2011 biography, “All the Things You Are: The Life of Tony Bennett,” it is encapsulated by a story Mr. Bennett told to Whitney Balliett in 1974.
“I like the funny things in life that could only happen to me now,” he said. “Once, when I was singing Kurt Weill’s ‘Lost in the Stars’ in the Hollywood Bowl with Basie’s band and Buddy Rich on drums, a shooting star went falling through the sky right over my head and everyone was talking about it, and the next morning the phone rang and it was Ray Charles, who I’d never met, calling from New York. He said, ‘Hey, Tony, how’d you do that, man?’ and hung up.”

OG 911 Character Details from Canon Pt 2
Hi y’all I’m back! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who reblogged the last details post - I sort of just thought people would like it and it would die, so to see it travel and hopefully reach more writers was so great so thank you again!
Details under the cut since I went a little crazy 😅 and if this is your first time seeing this, the first part, and any future parts, can be found under this tag here!
Quick note before I get to the details - always, ALWAYS take details from dialogue or plot over details from the set or props if they contradict each other. The writers have the ultimate say over what happens on the show/for the characters, so whatever they say goes, even if it goes against something props has already laid down (eg, Chim’s birthday, sorry Libra crew. He’s an Aries or a Pisces). So keep that in mind for the future in case some of these details I have which are from props/set are changed in the future, or if you’ve noticed something yourself!
Also if you have questions, I am MORE than happy to answer them, although if you leave them in the tags on this post I’m probably gonna lose them, so if it’s something you’d genuinely like an answer to, drop it in my inbox! Besides my standard “ask” tags, I’m also tagging asks about canon details with this tag here. Every time I make a big post like this, I’m going to link all the asks I’ve gotten since the last post, but if you’re looking for more info in the mean time, that’s the other spot to look!
Buck has a grill on his patio.
Eddie doesn’t hang Christopher’s art on the fridge - instead it is either hung on the corkboard in Chris’ room to the left of the door, or Eddie puts it in an actual frame and hangs it using a hammer/nails in Christopher’s room. All the Diaz family has on their fridge is a bunch of bendy people magnets. (I absolutely ADORE him putting all this effort into treating Christopher’s art like it’s something you’d buy from a professional artist).
Info on everyone’s ages can be found here. (Little more discussion of Chim’s situation here).
Albert has a bachelor’s degree! I don’t know in what though, except that it’s some field for which is a Master’s is useful.
Athena was in a sorority in college, Delta Sigma Theta. Their website describes them as “ ...a sisterhood comprised primarily of Black, college-educated women ... [that] considers the issues impacting the Black community and boldly confronts the challenges of African Americans and, hence, all Americans ”, which I love for Athena, and feel is very in-character for her at that time in her life!
Chim is an aviators dude. When he wears sunglasses, they’re always aviators.
Athena also wears nothing but aviators.
Bobby wears square aviators.
Eddie, on the other hand, always wears Wayfarers.
Buck either doesn’t really like sunglasses or he constantly forgets he owns them, since we’ve only seen him wear them once in 60 eps, in a move I’m pretty sure was ONLY for dramatic effect.
Hen’s sunglasses change style over the seasons like her regular glasses do, but she tends to like browline sunglasses.
Info on Christopher’s school can be found here!
There are two colors of dispatch polo, and there doesn’t seem to be any rhythm or reason for who wears what. Maroon - Maddie and Linda. Blue - Josh and May. Jamal has actually worn both maroon and blue, so it doesn’t seem to be TOTALLY set in stone although I’ve never seen anyone else switch. Sue is too badass to wear a dispatch shirt.
Both Bobby and Eddie drive 4 door pickups. Bobby’s is navy. Eddie specifically has a black, 2020 GMC Denali 1500 pickup truck (in case you want to specifically look up what the inside of it looks like or what features it has 😂)
Info on the 118’s medical certifications can be found here.
Correction to Eddie’s living situation from last post: no next door neighbors, but instead UPSTAIRS neighbors. (Pointed out by Abigail in this ask). Also since someone else was wondering the notes of the last post - no, there is absolutely no discussion on the show of whether or not Eddie rents the apartment or owns it. But based on the fact that it’s 1) LA and 2) an apartment, my guess would be he rents it.
When Maddie isn’t feeling like herself, she tends to straighten her hair rather than curl it. It seems to be more when she’s uncertain about her place in her own and other people’s lives, rather than just when she’s simply worried - eg it’s straight in 2B, when she’s uncertain if she wants to continue working as a dispatcher/is unsure about her relationship with Chim.
For work, Chim, Eddie and Buck all use black duffel bags with a LAFD patch on the top. Hen uses several different cute bags, and Bobby seems to have a plain black duffel bag.
Watches - Bobby, Athena, Chim, Hen and Buck all wear their watch on their left wrist (but Athena ONLY wears hers for work, she takes it off at home.) Eddie wears his on his right wrist, and Maddie doesn’t wear one.
Chim (and Maddie by default) literally still have the exact same couch as in the pilot. (Which means that Chim has cuddled Tatiana on that couch, AND Albert has had sex on it. TIME TO GET A NEW ONE, BUCKLEY-HANS 😂)
The 118 has five different rigs - the engine (E118), the ladder truck (T118), two ambulances and the captain’s truck. 95% of the time, when the team is chilling in the cab of a rig and chatting (eg the ‘stuck under a live telephone pole’ scene in Jinx), they’re in the engine, not the truck. (Which I personally learned recently are NOT interchangeable terms!)
Athena and Michael got married when Athena was 37.
If you’d like to give Maddie a full name beyond “Maddie”, you should use Madeline. (I know, I know, in 4x04 she says Maddie is the name on her birth certificate, and that you should never use props details if they contradict script details, but I always thought that was a super weird exchange in 4x04 which could be explained by Maddie getting a nickname since she was born when Margaret and Phillip, you know, actually loved their kids and showed it, so of course Buck doesn’t get one, and in 4x04, Maddie was trying to avoid the entire issue of why she got one and Buck didn’t. But! Do what you want, and use Madeline as the full version of Maddie if you’d like, since that’s what’s on the BOLO in 2x13 😂)
Athena’s call sign is 727 L30, but she doesn’t have a specific squad car - the number changes throughout the series.
Chim really likes chewing gum, but he’s the only one out of the entire family!
The station has an Xbox One S, and it’s white.
In the real LAFD, there are stations 1 through 114. To avoid confusion while filming on the streets (I’m assuming), our fictional LAFD never uses the number of a real station. So if you want another station for a fic, and you want something that would be real in OUR universe, use the numbers 115 and above. They’ve gone as high as 221 in our universe.
Battalions - station 118 is in Battalion 7, which is also not a battalion in real Los Angeles. The 118 has interacted w/ Battalion 1, which is a real battalion, but other ‘non-real which makes them more likely for our universe’ battalions include numbers: 3, 8, 13, 16, 19 and above.
S1 Buck knew the term Jedi, but based on context, didn’t understand AT ALL the context provided by Star Wars, so there’s another edge of his pop culture limits for you.
Chim is the most tech-savvy out of everyone, hands down.
Athena has a VERY active Twitter account.
Abuela’s house number is 8902. I don’t have a street name for you unfortunately though. :/
Athena’s favorite flowers are white roses. None of the other women are really flower people.
Michael likes to wear purple.
When they’re at a call, Buck does pretty much all of the stuff with the hammer and the saw. Eddie does all the work needed with the drill.
Harry goes to Meadowbrook Elementary.
Buck lives on the fourth floor of his apartment building, across the hall from Apt. 416. The lovely @lovelessmotel found this listing for what is more or less the apartment. What happened was: the set crew rented this apartment for the one episode at the end of s2 when Buck moved in, and then over the summer before s3 built their own set of it, and changed some things - eg giving him an island, and moving the sink to a second counter against the far wall, you can see the changes here in this amazing gif set by the awesome Austen, but the listing should let you click around a little more upstairs and figure out dimensions better than what the show provides!
When Athena and Hen go out to eat together, it’s always fast food burgers and fries.
Waffles are Athena’s favorite food, and tiramisu is her favorite dessert.
Every takeout we’ve seen Buck eat has always been in a Chinese food takeout container, and we know he likes Thai food the best. EXCEPT! The one time we see him eat takeout with Eddie and Christopher, they have pizza. So take from that what you will......
Eddie has a cell phone and a landline.
Chim is a shameless multiple texter.
Chim and Bobby sleep closest to the door in their respective bedrooms (both right side of the bed if you are standing at the foot, facing the headboard), and Athena and Maddie sleep furthest away from the door (left side).
Some canon last names for other firefighters at the station in case you wanna add more people to a fic - Mitchell, Sanchez, Serrano (woman), Porter, Meyers (woman), Maxwell, Voyta
Hen and Karen really love decorating their house with dark/red wood.
Karen is Mommy and Hen is Mama.
Bobby has a brother, and a grandmother, and that’s literally ALL we know about his family outside of Marcy and the kids.
Evidence points to Eddie being the oldest child in his family.
Karen has multiple brothers (no sisters), but no idea how many - just that one of them is named Trey, and one of them lives in LA and has kids. They might be the same brother and they might not be.
Both Hen and Athena are only children.
Athena has been on the police force for 30 years.
Christopher and Denny are the same age (born in 2011), and Harry is two years older than them.
Michael lives in apartment 308.
The bank in this universe is CalAm.
Hen and Karen have a picture of Denny, May and Harry on their fireplace mantel.
Eddie having a black thumb + a lot of plants in his living room = him buying fake plants bc he likes the aesthetic ™ or someone (cough Carla cough) is taking care of them for him.
The COVID timeline in OG’s universe is fucked up compared to the real world’s, so it shouldn’t be used as a way to measure time! They just throw it in wherever it makes sense for the story they want to tell (eg the vaccines in s4 ep 8), since s3 was both done before COVID hit but also airing while it was happening. It makes absolutely no sense for May to graduate in March nor for Chris to be going to what is specifically labeled summer camp, and the vaccine plotline was INCREDIBLY early, even for real life, so don’t use anything from that as a measure of time. I’ve found except in specific examples, eg the two tsunami episodes, it’s very safe to say every episode covers a week - fall holidays on the show line up with their real life counterparts, indicating about the same amount of time is passing for us and them.
On that note - Jee-Yun was born in late January, early February 2021. (Conceived in Pinned, which was end of March/beginning of April, meaning Maddie was around a month along at May’s graduation in May ➡ 42 weeks + 3 days from then = late Jan/early Feb. Which unfortunately means we most likely won’t see her birthday celebrated on screen. If we assume she was conceived on the date Pinned aired, aka the very sexy hotel scene, then January 21st or 22nd would be Jee’s birthday, depending on if she was born after midnight or not.
Buck has had at least one other Jeep between the one Maddie gave him, and the one he has now, which means that when he needs a new car, he is purposefully choosing Jeeps.
I hope this was all as interesting/enjoyable to you as it was to me! And just to repeat - I love answering questions so pls let me know if you have any at all ❤

The Untold Secret To Mastering BITCOIN MIXER In Just 3 Days
In the previous few years, we have seen new and energizing advancements that guarantee a more decentralized and secure economy. In this article, I have remembered a portion of the principal players for this creating market.
1. Golem
Golem is an open-source, decentralized PC organization.
How Golem Works
The Golem Network is a business opportunity for figuring power, where clients can procure from 'leasing' their machines or by creating and selling programming.
Inside the organization, clients leasing figuring power are designated "suppliers" and clients obtaining power are classified "requestors." The requestors use Golem for different purposes, including illustration handling, information examination, microservices, and AI.
Advantages
The work division implies that assignments can be finished at the same time, along these lines empowering more limited courses of events for projects.
The expense of working together is not as much as cloud-based administrations.
Clients can be in a flash paid for their work with the Golem Network Token (GTM), a token on Ethereum blockchain.
Golem is building their entire stack from base to top, a methodology that commonly brings about incredible UXs.
2. iExec
IExec is a decentralized commercial center for cloud administrations zeroed in on blockchain-based conveyed applications and reasonable, superior processing.
iExecc Dapps
In contrast to Golem, iExec (since the arrival of its v1) permits anybody to create and run applications.
The iExecc Dapp store contains an assortment of applications. Thinking about the accomplished group behind iExec, their motivation to pick the Dapp pathway is that there's likely less rivalry here. Subsequent to setting up themselves in the decentralized Dapp market, iExec anticipates venturing into decentralized processing undertakings.
RLC
RLC is short for 'Runs on Lots of Computers,' and it's the local badge of iExec. There are at present 87 million of the ERC-20 token available for use.
3. Ethereum
Ethereum is an open-source, blockchain-based stage that empowers clients to fabricate decentralized applications. The calculations are acted in a separated climate considered Ethereum Virtual Machine that lives on the whole hub associated with the organization. The result of the calculations is put away on the blockchain.
Highlights of the Ethereum Blockchain
Ether
Ether is the money of the Ethereum blockchain. The digital forms of money ETH (Ethereum Hard Fork) and ETC (Ethereum Classic) are two estimations of Ether.
Shrewd Contract
The EVM is fit for executing a "brilliant contact," a calculation that stores and naturally execute terms of arrangements. The two players associated with an exchange consent to the terms written in the keen agreement.
Bitcoin versus Ethereum Platform
The Bitcoin blockchain centers around a bunch of pre-characterized tasks, like following Bitcoin exchanges, while Ethereum permits clients to run code of any intricacy, making it reasonable for any decentralized application, including digital forms of money.
Agreement Mechanism
Calculation on the Ethereum network costs more and takes longer than a standard PC in view of the parallelization of processing. To look after the agreement, all members should concur over the request for all exchanges that have occurred, if they have partaken in the exchange.
Ethereum hubs store the latest condition of each brilliant agreement, alongside the entirety of the Ether exchanges. As EVM is a segregated framework, the code runs without admittance to the organization or the filesystem. Along these lines, there's restricted availability even among savvy contracts.
4. Hyperledger Fabric
Facilitated by the Linux Foundation, Hyperledger Fabric is an open-source disseminated record innovation (DLT) having secluded and configurable engineering that can be utilized at the venture level in different enterprises.
Highlights of Hyperledger Fabric
Security, Development, and Performance
The Fabric stage empowers permissioned, the private activity where the administrators know one another and can be limited by rules, like a lawful understanding.
Texture upholds brilliant agreements written in like manner dialects, like Java and Go, so no extra preparation is needed to make the shrewd agreements.
Execution is upgraded in light of the fact that, in contrast to Ethereum, just gatherings partaking in the exchange need to arrive at an agreement.
Texture Nodes
Likewise not at all like Ethereal, Fabric hubs have various jobs and errands in the agreement cycle. The hubs can be borderers, customers, or friends. bitcoin mixer Smack down!
Local Currency
The texture doesn't have local cryptographic money. Notwithstanding, chain code can be utilized to build up local cash.
5. Tendermint
Tendermint has a blockchain agreement motor, known as Tendermint Core, and a nonexclusive application interface, known as Application Blockchain Interface (ABCI). The product empowers secure and predictable replication of an application on different machines.
Tendermint Core
The Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) middleware of the agreement motor can safely duplicate state progress apparatus. BFT middleware can endure 33% of disappointments, including hacking assaults.
Tendermint had the objective of offering a safer and productive agreement calculation than Bitcoin's PoW (Proof of Work). The product shaped the premise of significant exploration by agreement convention Casper's group: a deficiency lenient chain, like Tendermint, can use sound judgment about who delivers a square, while a less solid chain brings about a chicken and egg issue.
The product is easy to understand, duplicates applications written in any language, and has numerous applications.
6. Lisk
Lisk is a decentralized and disseminated stage that permits clients to create applications and backing them with tweaked blockchains.
Lisk Features
Designers can utilize Lisk's JavaScript-based programming advancement unit (SDK) to fabricate both the backend and the frontend of their application. Be that as it may, Lisk doesn't offer security against non-deterministic conduct. Additionally, the stage can't forestall limitless circles and measure memory utilization.
Lisk's Consensus Mechanism
Lisk requests that designers follow "rules" for agreements to guarantee agreement. For example, they ask engineers to "don't utilize Math. random()."
7. Corda (V 3.0)
Corda is an open-source, dispersed record stage (DLT) obliging the monetary business.
Highlights of Corda
Corda's organization is a permissioned network - it's not open to all hub administrators. The hubs run on Corda and CoDapps and impart highlight points with one another.
The 'porter' of each organization sets the affirmation decides for hubs that need to join the organization. Like Fabric, Corda offers more protection in light of its fine-grained admittance control to records, and better permeance in view of restricting agreement to the elaborate gatherings.
On Corda, contract engineers additionally add legitimate exposition to their agreement. This component merges the agreement by legitimizing it with the related legitimate writing. The stage doesn't have a local token.
8. Rootstock
Rootstock (RSK) is an open-source savvy contract stage that is based on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Rootstock Features
Savvy Contracts
RSK is empowering savvy contracts on the Bitcoin organization. It utilizes the Turing-complete Rootstock Virtual Machine (RVM) for keen agreements. A 2-way stake permits clients to straightforwardly send Bitcoin onto the Rootstock chain. The RSK coins can be utilized with keen agreements and Dapps. RSK contracts reproduce 'Confirmation of-Existence,' which is utilized to demonstrate the presence of an archive (or property right).
Security
The RSK blockchain has combine mining, giving it a similar degree of security as Bitcoin regarding settlement certainty and twofold spending.
The Wild West Crypto Show Continues
Here is an inquiry that surfaces regularly: How would I pick which digital money to put resources into - would they say they aren't any different either way?
There is no uncertainty that Bitcoin has caught a lot of the cryptographic money (CC) market, and that is generally because of its FAME. This marvel is similar to what's going on in public legislative issues around the planet, where a competitor catches most of the votes dependent on FAME, as opposed to any demonstrated capacities or capabilities to oversee a country. Bitcoin is the pioneer in this market space and keeps on earning practically the entirety of the market features. This FAME doesn't imply that it is ideal for the work, and it is genuinely notable that Bitcoin has limits and issues that should be settled, notwithstanding, there is a contradiction in the Bitcoin world on how best to determine the issues. As the issues putrefy, there is continuous freedom for engineers to start new coins that address specific circumstances and hence separate themselves from the roughly 1300 different coins in this market space. How about we take a gander at two Bitcoin equals and investigate how they vary from Bitcoin, and from one another:
Ethereum (ETH) - The Ethereum coin is known as ETHER. The principle contrast from Bitcoin is that Ethereum utilizes "brilliant agreements" which are account holding objects on the Ethereum blockchain. Savvy Contracts are characterized by their makers and they can interface with different agreements, decide, store information, and send ETHER to other people. The execution and administrations they offer are given by the Ethereum organization, which is all past what Bitcoin or some other blockchain organization can do. Shrewd Contracts can go about as your self-governing specialist, submitting to your directions and rules for spending cash and starting different exchanges on the Ethereum organization.

Everything To Know About Belt Sanders
What are Belt Sanders?
Belt sanders are multiuse devices. They are regularly utilized for tending to a scribed line (photograph), sanding extremely harsh surfaces, leveling surfaces (like a substitution board in a hardwood floor) and freehand adjusting and forming. Since they have a ton of intensity and can deal with coarse corn meal, they exceed expectations at the quick expulsion of wood. Additionally, in contrast to orbital and vibrating sanders, the sanding activity is straight, so even with coarse corn meal you can sand with the grain and get a gorgeous outcome. Despite the fact that a belt sander isn't a basic instrument in the mortgage holder's arms stockpile, you won't find many experienced DIYers or craftsmen without one.
Advantages of a belt sander
Belt sanders are the enormous, incredible gorillas of the sanding scene. Not many devices can spare you as much time—or wreck your task quicker. In case you're new to belt sanders or have been baffled by yours, read on to discover how to monitor to see in Toolsearchkit.
Ideal for scribing
A typical use for a little belt sander is scribing. You can progressively sneak up on a bended line for an ideal fit. On a cover ledge, ensure the bearing of belt travel pushes the overlay down.
The Top Tool for Rough Flattening
Belt sanders exceed expectations at the fast evacuation of wood, making them the best handheld force apparatus for leveling and smoothing unpleasant sheets. Start at a point to the grain for forceful leveling, at that point get done with the grain. 80-coarseness is useful for beginning, at that point change to 120-coarseness.
Instructions to Choose the Best Belt Sander
The best multipurpose belt sander takes a 3-in.- wide belt. You'll see machines intended for more extensive and smaller belts, yet they're for specific errands.
Inside the 3-in. class, there are littler instruments that take 3 x 18-in. belts, fair size machines that take 3 x 21-in. belts and several enormous sanders that take 3 x 24-in. belts. The littler apparatuses are lighter and simpler to utilize one-gave for forming and scribing. They're useful for littler work and easygoing use.
The bigger instruments have more surface region and weight for smoothing wide surfaces. They're better for greater work and shop use. The 3 x 21-in. machines are a decent trade off.
You'll discover 3 x 18-in. sanders for $50 to $150 and 3 x 21-in. sanders for $100 to $250 when searching for the best belt sander.
You'll additionally discover littler belt sanders that take 2-1/2-in.- wide belts. They're light and helpful for one-gave use. Sanders with 4-in.- wide belts are rock solid machines best left to cabinetmakers.
Pick a belt, however no belt
By and by, I utilize 80-and 120-coarseness belts routinely, and seldom, 50-coarseness. Corn meal coarser than 50 leave profound scratches that are hard to eliminate. Also, in case you're doing better sanding, you're in an ideal situation utilizing an arbitrary circle sander. Recall one of the principles of sanding: You can avoid one evaluation of coarseness, yet it sits around and you'll simply destroy belts skirting two. For instance, you can go from 80 to 120, avoiding 100 coarseness, however don't go from 50 to 120.
Aluminum oxide is the conventional coarseness material. You'll see it in more affordable khaki-shading structure, great in the event that you need an expendable belt, and longer-enduring, dim earthy colored premium belts. In any case, for corn meal of 80 and coarser, numerous individuals currently lean toward zirconia belts (in some cases called "planer" belts). They have more honed, harder cutting particles that cut all the more forcefully, last more and don't obstruct as without any problem. These belts are normally splendid blue or purple. Zirconia belts cost marginally more than premium aluminum oxide belts.
Instructions to Use a Belt Sander
Try not to push down on the sander; let its weight accomplish the work. Go gradually, cover passes and permit the instrument to go past the end without plunging. Be mindful so as not to tip the sander or alter speed or course. Put the rope behind you so it's off the beaten path.
Watch Out for Gouging
This painted board shows a typical issue: horseshoe-molded gouges toward the finish of a board. To forestall gouges, utilize spotless, new belts, stay away from corn meal better than 120, and hold the plate added to the repertoire (the platen) perfect and liberated from dust development.
Belt sander security tips
Belt sanders are moderately protected instruments, however it's despite everything savvy to avoid potential risk.Wear hearing insurance—these children are LOUD!
Try not to inhale dust. It's not simply upsetting; it's terrible for you. Wear a residue veil while sanding, except if you rig up a shop vacuum for dust assortment (photograph, beneath).
Unplug the instrument before changing belts or discharging the residue pack. I have a scar that authenticates the significance of this apparently grandmotherly precautionary measure.
On the off chance that you utilize the belt sander to sand metal, you'll make sparkles, which can light a fire in the event that they blend in with the sawdust in the machine and the residue pack. Blow or vacuum the residue out of the sander before you use it on metal, and eliminate the residue sack.
Ensure the trigger is off before connecting the sander. Belt sanders have a locking button that holds the switch in the "on" position. Sounds kinda "duh," yet trust me, it occurs. You don't need the sander to fly over the room when you plug it in, isn't that right?
Belt sanders apply a considerable measure of power on the work. So if your work isn't safely held, it'll slide away from or directly into you. Cinches disrupt everything, except a straightforward stop on the suitable side of the workpiece (photograph, "Utilize Good Technique" above) will shield it from sliding. Pick a stop that is somewhat more slender than the workpiece so the sander will clear it at the edge.
Trim After Sanding
It's difficult to shield a belt sander from gouging or adjusting over the finishes of a board. So in the event that you can, belt-sand the board before slicing it to definite length. You can then securely proceed onward to a palm sander and better corn meal.
Watch Out on Plywood
Belt sanders take off genuine measures of wood, so they can wreck pressed wood essentially in a flash. In the event that you need to sand strong wood edging flush with compressed wood, draw a pencil line on the compressed wood to disclose to you when the sander begins eliminating facade. In the event that you have variable speed, dial it down.
Belt sander upkeep
To begin with, ensure the belt is arranged appropriately. A few belts have a favored course, demonstrated by a bolt within. Nondirectional belts can be introduced in any case. The main change you'll likely need to make is "following" to keep the belt focused on the roller. Hold the sander up, turn it on, and check whether the belt either rubs against the lodging or starts working its way off the rollers. With the trigger on, modify the following handle until the belt is fixated on the rollers. You may need to make a slight change when the sander is on the wood. On the off chance that your sander has programmed following, you don't have to meddle with any of that hogwash.
A few sanders have variable speed. You can go at greatest speed more often than not, yet you'll need to choke it back for fragile work.
Keep the Belt Clean
Filthy belts make for awful work. A belt-cleaning stick will eliminate the pitch development that occurs with all woods, particularly pine or sappy woods. Push it against the moving belt, or for bigger sanders, clip the stick in a tight clamp and sand it.
Useful for Rough Sharpening
You can utilize a belt sander for unpleasant honing of apparatuses like tomahawks, scoops, blades and etches. Eliminate the residue pack and eliminate all residue from the sander (starts and residue are an awful mix), at that point utilize a zirconia belt for best outcomes.
Overhaul your sander
Belt sanders are basic instruments that don't require numerous upgrades. In any case, in the event that you utilize your belt sander in the shop, think about these two updates.
Residue assortment
Belt sanders consistently accompany an implicit residue pack that gathers the majority of the coarser residue and requirements standard exhausting. Nonetheless, a lot of fine residue despite everything gets into the air. In case you're doing a ton of belt sanding, it merits getting a hose that permits you to interface your sander to a shop vacuum. You'll have the option to sand the entire day with nary a spot of residue (lower photograph).
You can at times utilize the hose that accompanied your shop vacuum, however it's normally excessively huge or excessively firm. The option is a super-adaptable, little distance across hose intended for dust assortment. You can get one at a carpentry strength store or on the web (search "vacuum hose"). I utilize one made by Porter-Cable that cost $25. Residue ports shift broadly (some are square, which is a test), so you may need to mess around to get the hose to fit. There are business connectors ($10 to $20; get one when you purchase your hose) or you can cobble something along with—you got it—conduit tape. It merits the object, however: no residue in your workspace.
Shop-made stand
A helpful adornment on the off chance that you do a lot of carpentry is a stand that holds your sander on its side, topsy turvy or vertical, permitting you to carry the work to the instrument rather than the other way around. The structure of the stand is totally subject to the state of your sander, so we won't give plans. In any case, it by and large includes a few layers of compressed wood, each with patterns to oblige the pieces of the sander that jut, in addition to several hose braces or other cinching gadgets to hold the sander safely and for information. click here

While the strike had declined over preceding decades as a major form of struggle, the demonstration had apparently grown as a means for the orderly expression of pious dissent. The limitations of this form had been rammed home back in 2003 when the largest protest ever in the UK — against the Iraq War — failed to do more than help establish a national consensus of polite objection to the inevitable. At most, the “violence of a tiny minority” on the fringes of such demonstrations could hope to create some media spectacle which would otherwise be entirely lacking in the trudge to Speaker’s Corner or Trafalgar Square. Thus a certain rationality to an anti-globalisation-style “diversity of tactics”, and a tedious ritual of dividing up “good” and “bad” protesters. The invasion of Millbank set in train a crisis in this construct. NUS, government and media sang initially, of course, from the same traditional hymn sheet, with Aaron Porter describing Millbank as the “despicable” work of a “tiny rogue minority”, and offering that time-honoured weapon of struggle — the candlelit vigil — as alternative. Having crawled out of the shadows of the Blair years, the NUS thereby promptly confirmed its own illegitimacy in relation to a student movement that was elsewhere, doing something much more exciting. From here on, less polite tactics would proliferate — destruction of property, fighting cops, occupying buildings — and the swelling groups of masked-up schoolkids at the heart of much of this activity looked less and less like a minority of “professional anarchists”. In these demonstrations we repeatedly witnessed arguments between people in the street over this spreading fractiousness, uncomfortable at the giving-way of conventional distinctions. Oxford Street; a wealthy-looking woman, bags of shopping; screaming at a group of masked-up and very young-looking teens: “Why must you cover your face?! Don’t you realise that we are not your enemy? We do support you but don’t cover your face!” The fear of a loss of order was palpable. A Guardian journalist registered surprise after talking to Millbank occupiers: “Those dressed in black were children too, and several fresh-faced excited students said this was their first demonstration.” Standard narratives of “outside agitators” and “militants” were now being forcibly displaced by one of “students radicalised by the cuts”. Instead, media now summoned a new distinction from the emergence of groups such as UK Uncut, and the various arts-oriented activisms that ran through this movement. Now the figure of the “good” student protestor, able to more eloquently articulate their radicality, taking part in poetry readings and performance art, was set against the acts of property damage and occupation, even though these aspects were inextricable.

Purchaser's Guide
I hear many individuals reveal to me that they needn't bother with a parchment saw since it's to a greater degree a carpenters device. They don't regard it important on the grounds that they have a band found in their shop, and that is adequate enough to make mind boggling cuts. One noteworthy distinction between the two is that a parchment saw is certainly not a constant edge. A band saw can make fair cuts, yet it doesn't measure up to having a parchment saw. A parchment saw is intended to make fine moment and definite cuts, and it will create far unrivaled items than what you can do on your shop's band saw. Putting resources into one will completely change you, and once you get one, you will think about how you lived without it.
It is critical to talk about what to search for when you are obtaining a parchment saw, as there are a wide range of sorts accessible and picking the best parchment saw can be troublesome without a little assistance.

young women's determined to assessment by assessment found: "the ones are bits of clothing for ladies who zone put confidence in getting dressed, grown-up dressing, yet with 0 female fied matters. They supporting a huge mother or father for the improvement of dressing with panache."
gigantic chief conviction
With that achievement and his megastar unquestionably rising, the Sarofim have family (truth be told, the gigantic cheddar Fayez Sarofim gathering) has contorted out of its for the most part known dimension of nature to area assets into Lippes' absolutely evident reality.
"We make countless activities in the working environment. regardless, we were before long not wanting to set assets into this sort of business attempt. we are into oil and fuel, land, transport," Courtney Sarofim says. "regardless, this modified into a with no planning in light of the way by which that we without a doubt comprehended as real with in Adam and anticipated to work with him."
No ways about it, only days speedier, Sarofim had sustained a show for Lippes on the uber prohibitive Lyford Cay enlistment in the Bahamas and at a vivacious time inside the idea structure, Sarofim and her sister-in-statute, New Yorker Allison Sarofim, engaged a flawless presentation for him in her River OK family.
"He changed into on the ground at my nuclear family impelling the manner by which those individuals may sell, and it saw likewise as he got an entire made quality out of Houston young women by approachs for doing that point. He changes it," Sarofim follows.
That "portion" is the bona fide data the distinctive essayist and the customer, an issue Lippes chose at Oscar de l. a. Renta, in which at the vivacious age of 27 he wandered forward towards persuading the probability to be plan boss, that in the wake of experiencing a year at Ralph Lauren, the 2 of which bore witness to his pushed oeuvre.
"examining my shape records, which is basically Oscar, anyway Ralph being three hundred and sixty five days, working a few spot conspicuously impacts you paying little character to whether it's specific three hundred and sixty five days while no powerlessness about it," he says, seeing that he is getting it with on "the hugeness of what Oscar did, the thought concerning ground, and sound, and shading, and indulgence and establishing it with Ralph Lauren in that you just couldn't favoring an oversight."
Sarofim hails the idea, propelling, "I need to peer him changed into the yank PC diversions wear modeler of record, like Oscar and Ralph disintegrated into one."
The confirmed handle, mate and mother of is passing on Lippes, — a silk-fixed lessen trim wheeze with one in the entire approximately five star T-shirts and Christian Dior tennis shoes. it's far a super low look that Sarofim can later exchange with the cumbersome strip, silk-lined top that sorts out the pant.
at any rate, around that T-pullover. Oprah Winfrey verbalized it one in everything about needed things in 2007 and had the fashioner on her introduction. "i'm verified," Lippes assessments her choose of talk. She referenced 3 dozen and imparted that in case she were as of now not charged retail, she would reestablish all of them.
"they're pima cotton, made in Peru, and we built up our genuinely near and dear outstanding compound wash," Lippes says. you will have that T-shirt for time everlasting. they might be improbable and as Oprah given, not to drop that call afresh, it is a T-shirt that may take you wherever. you're at the portrayals condition what's more you look dazzling or put on it to yoga. you may do various issues in it. [How much?] $ninety five. that is a standard expense for an excess T-shirt."
down to earth ahead to the Bayou Bend lunch get-everything considered and Lippes works the get-all things considered feasibly, a limitless touch of the time, the ladies dashing to him. They swoon over the models which can be so skillfully gathered that one may need to envision that the rate must be by methods for and through higher.
"the all out issue is hand-finished, twofold went administering," he clears up. "The surfaces are dazzling. The models aren't crazy so the floor wishes to hold tight. the whole factor is performed in ny."
"regardless, it's by no means, again surveyed like Chanel or Dior," Sarofim embellishments in. "continuously like Stella McCartney."
henceforth the advantages were found and set and set as Lippes scored each other impressive achievement Courtney Sarofim.

Magic and Miracles and BEYOND Chapter 7
YA’LL I’M SO SORRY. I didn’t forget about this I swear, I just got hella distracted by life and a million other things BUT I’M BACK. And I know this is a short chapter but trust me, MORE is coming. So I would just like to say this cruise ship is based off of Royal Carribean’s Syphony of the Seas and almost all these pictures are from the Royal Carribean site, which usually sails the Carribean but for the purposes of this story, it’s going to Hawii and something similar is going to Alaska because this is a fantasy story where I go ‘fuck you’ to reality and everyone’s happy and nothing hurts, YET. (dun dun dun). And the ship has a dog park which I don’t think the actual ship does. And Dani and the twins RETURN and they just keep spreading the baby bug.
So @the-immortal-marshal sorry for the wait but here you go.

Magic and Miracles and BEYOND - Chapter 7
“So? How was Disney?” Sylva asked Ada as all the girls walked into a designer dress shop as they looked for formal attire for the cruises.
“It was amazing,” Ada sighed wistfully as she went through the rows of dresses and found a few that she liked.
“Oh good, did Luche behave himself?” Sylva asked.
“Of course, he’s been the perfect gentleman.” Ada reassured Sylva.
“Good.” Sylva nodded before they all got dozens of dresses and tried them all on.
“Oh this is gorgeous on you!” Sylva praised as she watched Ada twirl in an ivory gown that perhaps looked a touch bridal on Ada and Sylva knew that once Luche would see Ada in this gown, he’d be thinking wedding bells too and knew she just had to get it for her. “It looks divine, I absolutely insist on getting it for you and I have the perfect pearl necklace to go with it too.” Sylva urged her.
“Ok,” Ada nodded in agreement before she put on another dress, this one a brilliant aquamarine that just made her hair pop in contrast. It was perfectly gorgeous and elegant.
“And that one too.” Sylva insisted which got Ada to squeal and giggle and twirl in her dress as the other girls emerged from their dressing rooms, showing off their dresses to Sylva too, wanting to get her stamps of approval too which Sylva was more than happy to give out. And once all the girls got all the dresses they wanted and needed, Sylva was more than happy to buy them all before making sure that the guys got the proper suits and things to match on the other end of the store.
“Lu,” Sylva called out as she looked at a few shirts and ties.
“Yes?” Luche asked as he came to stand next to her.
“I’m really proud of you.” Sylva offered.
“Thank you?” Luche returned, not quite sure why she’d be proud of him.
“You’ve done really good with Ada and I wanted to make sure you knew that you were doing well.” Sylva encouraged.
“Oh, thanks.” Luche nodded.
“Now I need you to promise me something.” Sylva began and turned to make sure he was looking her in the eye before she continued. “You need to make sure you don’t have sex with her while on the cruises.” Sylva urged, dropping her voice to a soft whisper so that only Luche could hear her.
“Uh, ok.” Luche frowned in confusion, he had thought that would have been a given.
“I know it seems silly right now, but trust me, on the boat, wearing what she will be wearing, it’ll be a temptation and it’s of paramount importance that you make an honest woman out of her. She cheated once and from here on out, if she cheats on Cor with you, it’ll form a habit that will spell disaster for you both. Just trust me on this. Don’t kiss her, don’t give her any carnal pleasures whatsoever. This will be a new start for you both, give yourselves the best start you can, and that starts with respecting her and her current relationships, however doomed they may be. You need to do the right thing. Not what ‘feels right’ in the moment. But the right and proper thing over all.” Sylva urged before she got Ravus’ attention and brought him over.
“Ravus, I’m trying to make a point to Luche, when Selena was with Pelna and you two were getting close, did you two ever cross the line physically before her relationship with Pelna ended?” Sylva asked lowly.
“No, not at all, and I’m glad we didn’t. I mean it sucked, like a lot in those moments because there were so many times I wanted to, I would have given everything for it but looking back means that neither of us have any regrets with the way we got together and respecting her relationship with Pelna then- means that my relationship with her is respected now. It’s something you have to do if you don’t want the past repeating itself and I know Selena is much happier with herself and rests easy because of it too.” Ravus urged Luche.
“I don’t see why you’re making such a big deal about this, I knew going in that it would have to be like that.” Luche assured them.
“Did Ada get a white dress for the cruise or something?” Ravus asked his mother, trying to figure out what would prompt his mother to have this conversation before it dawned on him.
“Ivory. Wedding bells were going off in my own head when I saw her in it. She’s lovely, just, stay strong Lu, your future depends on it.” Sylva repeated as she grabbed Luche by the upper arms and shook him a little to emphasize her point with a laugh.
“Really?” Luche asked, a dopey grin spreading across his face.
“Yeah, you’re gonna have fun. Just, not too much fun.” Sylva narrowed her eyes playfully before she made sure all the guys were squared away too.
The next morning they were all in the terminal including Johnny, Anna and the twins and Dani, who had sorely missed Ravus and Selena who in turn had sorely missed them and outright refused to put down the twins, Selena commandeering Gabby as Ravus kept Izzy and Dani as they were waiting to board the cruise ship, all the dogs on leashes since the cruise ship had a dog park and a cat lounge on board and accommodations for dogs including a dog daycare so Ada wouldn’t have to be separated from Baxter, Crowe and Libertus could take Otis, Pashmina and Gladio could take Dianna and the Nox Fleuret- Caelums could take Pryna and Umbra and even Duchess was in a deluxe cat carrier, and Iris and Craig could take Noche since all the dogs had been traveling with the young adults all summer.
Sylva had gotten everyone suites, however with Ada being an add on and Hazel and Titus joining them too. It was a push to have everyone more or less together and on the same floor at least. Sylva was only slightly evil and mostly scheming, making sure Luche and Ada had side by side rooms where they could both sit on their balconies and see each other and talk to each other. This new cruise ship had everything. It had rock climbing walls, water sports simulators, it’s own water park, a traditional as well as an open dining option with over a dozen restaurants and buffets and golf, both a mini golf course and a golfing drive simulator, bumper cars, laser tag, an arcade that rivaled Dave and Busters, sports courts, an obstacle course, a sky diving simulator, zip lines, two trampoline parks, one was a traditional one and the other was with the harness and bungee chords so you would really jump high and even a trapeze school that had gymnastic equipment and a dozen different niche clubs and concert halls, ice skating, an escape room, a casino, dozens of shops on the boardwalk and throughout the ship, an out of this world spa and a bunch of other amenities that every active teenager and young adult could possibly want including loads of things for Dani and even a daycare for the twins. It was perfect.
Sylva got everyone’s boarding passes and room keys handed them out before they all waited to board, most of them thankfully having games on their phones and tablets as Sylva, Lunafreya, Ravus, Luche and Ignis did some last minute business for Miracles from their laptops while Regis caught up with Noctis. Ravus only having a little trouble since Izzy was in a carrier strapped to his chest and Dani draped herself across his lap and shoulder and cuddled into his chest while he reached around both of them to type on his laptop.
“So how are you doing Hun?” Titus asked as he and Ada sat down side by side as Hazel was doing some last minute business of her own on her own laptop from her spot next to Sylva at the computer table, one of dozens that was specifically built that had dozens of outlets so that the laptops and cell phones and other electronics could charge while the guests waited to board the ship.
“Doing much better.” Ada smiled happily as she had Baxter laying on her lap as Titus pet Baxter too. “How was the wine tour?” Ada asked Titus curiously.
“I couldn’t tell the fucking difference between the cheap stuff and the good stuff, wine is wine in my book, the whole time I couldn’t help thinking…‘I could go for a whiskey right about now’, beer on the other hand, that’s more my speed, a good porter or stout and I’m good to go and thankfully there was plenty of that too.” Titus chuckled which got Ada to snicker a laugh. “But it made Hazel happy and we had a lot of fun and I’m glad we went,” Titus shrugged but smiled happily nonetheless since he hadn’t gotten a real vacation in..he couldn’t remember when. “Got to have a lot of really good cheese and charcuterie though and all the food was outstanding. Granted, not as good as Hazel can make it but pretty close.” Titus appraised because to him, Hazel was the best chef ever and made everything great and it was hard for any food to equal hers since she was his gold standard.
“Aw, I’m glad you had fun. The gang took me to Disneyland. That was epic and awesome and amazing and I got my real first spa day the day before and I felt like jelly afterwards.” Ada informed him proudly.
“Oh so you got your ears? Your Mickey or I guess in your case Mini ears?” Titus gently teased.
“Several pairs, yes.” Ada nodded. “And then we got to go to the beach and splash in the Pacific Ocean and go surfing. I think I swallowed half the ocean and seaweed touched my leg and I screamed bloody murder because I thought it was a jellyfish or a shark and I climbed Luche like a tree and nearly accidentally drowned him trying to get away from it.” Ada began as Titus barked a deep belly laugh just imagining that. “It was really hilarious, everyone laughed and it was recorded on the waterproof go-pros.” Ada giggled. “And then Tredd found a dead slash rotting fish on the beach and tormented everyone with it before Yasmine and the tothers beat his ass that he was gonna make Crowe miscarry because of how many diseases were probably crawling on it.” Ada recounted.
“Good for her.” Titus grinned proudly.
“And then we had a bonfire and a BBQ right on the beach too and charted a big fishing boat and went fishing and then Noctis and his band did a few shows over the weekend which were amazing, because when they weren’t on stage, which even when they were, I got to do back up vocals which was epic and we got to enjoy the rest of the concerts and go back stage and meet all the other bands and hang out and get pictures and get autographs and merch from the other bands and I got to help with the band merch so that all of us could take shifts and have breaks and stuff and that was really fun and we made money hand over fist. And everyone has gotten along really well and there wasn’t any fighting or arguing about anything. And we’ve all been taking care of each other and Craig’s been doing most of the cooking and he is an outstanding cook, like, Nyx and Libertus can cook really great too and there have been so many times where we just raid a Sam's Club and we cook for ourselves instead of going out to eat for every meal and between Pashmina, Yasmine and Pelna cooking a lot of Indian food, I mean their chicken curry and tiki marsala is phenomenal, and their chicken Biryani rice is outstanding and Luna, Rae and Stella all do wonderful French cooking and Iris and Gladio bring the Spanish flavors and Cindy, I know she doesn’t look it but she has a Paula Dean in her and she makes pies, from scratch, like old fashioned, flaky crust pies made with lard, that are better than any bakery and she’s gotten all of us into it and Selena and Nyx bring a lot of the Mediterranean flavors and they make the best baklava and pitas and hummus and all kinds of stuff. And even Tredd cooks, he makes the best mashed potatoes, actually potatoes period he makes all the potatoes the best, not to be racist but because he’s Irish, I think it runs in his blood and mac and cheese with so much cheddar. And Libertus is of course Italian so he’s made fresh pasta and these sauces from scratch that take like two to three days to make but they’re the best ever. And Iggy orchestrates all of us between the two kitchens on the bus and even on the girls bus there’s an electric smoker so we smoke a lot of foods, like salmon and cheese and of course every meat imaginable and make our own jerky and Iggy makes the best coffee, I don’t know how he does it but he does and it’s amazing and Luche and I just do whatever everyone else tells us to do. I swear I think I’ve gained like ten pounds since I’ve been with them, I’ve eaten so much, but it’s all been so good.” Ada beamed happily.
“So has Lu been behaving himself?” Titus asked curiously.
“Oh yeah, he’s been the perfect gentleman. Like perfect.” Ada answered with fawning, adoring smile and a wistful sigh and Titus cocked a half grin at that. Ada still loved him too. He supposed it was inevitable. Like moth to a flame but he wasn’t sure who was the moth and who was the flame at this point.
“Good.” Titus nodded.
“Oh and then the guys had a video interview! That was the best! Did you see it?” Ada asked as she pulled her phone out and showed Titus the video on YouTube.
“Hi I’m Laney for Rock360 and I’m with the Chocobros! Say hi guys!” Laney invited before they all waived to the camera, Noctis, a little awkwardly still.
“So anyone who knows you, knows you got your start performing for kids at Miracle Hospital and your videos went viral and you’ve gained quite a bit of notoriety on the circuit and in the rocker community for being as diverse and as inclusive as yours is and the band it seems, fluctuates because sometimes, it’s the four of you and other times there’s like a dozen people on stage, what can you tell me about that?” Laney asked.
“Well, how that started is some venues want to see the girls that they saw in videos so that’s where we ask the girls for guest appearances.” Ignis explained.
“Aww, that’s really great that they can do that. And speaking with the other bands I understand that your crew is unique and that the only people who are actually hired are your drivers, otherwise it’s just you and your friends and it’s noted that it’s very much like a family and you’re all pretty close knit.” Laney noted.
“Yeah we are, it’s awesome, it’s us and our significant others which is great and we all get along and take care of each other.” Gladio grinned proudly.
“Now I also know that there is a lucky charm.” Laney giggled.
“Yes! That’s Crowe, she got pregnant right in the beginning of the tour so right before we go on stage we pat the bebeh belly for good luck.” Prompto answered before the camera cut to Crowe behind the scenes eating a doughnut and waived as Libertus pet her belly to illustrate.
“And that’s Libertus, her fiance, he’s the proud father, obviously.” Prompto beamed as Libertus nodded ‘yes’ emphatically and gave a double thumbs up with a bright cheesy grin around his own stuffed cheeks since he was eating doughnuts too.
“Aww, that’s adorable.” Laney fawned before she continued to talk to them about their music and their songs and what their songs meant to them and how fun their tour had been and what other bands they had been performing with before they ended the interview.
“Aw, that’s awesome.” Titus grinned proudly before they boarded the cruise ship and got to their rooms. Ada squealing in delight at how magnificent her suite was, especially since she got it all to herself, well kind of, she had Baxter with her and that’s all she could ever ask for, there were already food and water dishes set up for him too. This next week was going to be heaven. She unpacked her carry on bag and by the time she was done, her luggage got delivered and once that was all put away she rejoined the rest of the group, dropping Baxter off at the on board doggy daycare, sticking close to Luche and Titus as they explored the ship before hitting up one of the buffets.
“So has Cor ever told you why he never wanted kids?” Ada asked Titus who nearly choked on his spit and tripped over his own feet as he felt his soul leave his body to go to the astral plane for just a moment to have a mini freak out as he then tried to grab Cor from the astral plane to come here and have this conversation with her because while he felt like a father figure. This was just...not his area of comfortable conversation topics but Regis was too far away to pull into this to deal with this, Regis was better at this kind of thing but if Ada felt comfortable enough to bring this up, he needed to handle this with care.
“Sweetie, I think he’s seen too much of the worst of humanity to try to bring life into the world, at least, that’s what he’s told me, why?” Titus asked.
“Just, with Crowe being pregnant the baby bug is going around.” Ada shrugged as she then looked over at Selena who had Gabby on her hip while she piled her own plate with food for the both of them while Ravus held Izzy and did the same while also helping Dani with her plate and the five of them already looked like the perfect family and Ada felt a pang of jealousy while also noticing how Luche was also helping Dani and was doting on her too and Ada felt like she was seeing a glimpse of what he would be like as a wonderful father too and it both warmed while rendered her heart a bit because she wanted that too but she couldn’t have it.
“Well don’t let it bite you too hard. Babies are a lot of work, they’re loud and messy and stressful and will change your life forever.” Titus gently warned her with a slight air of a teasing tone even though he could see from his vantage point, Hazel talking with Crowe and when Hazel touched Crowe’s belly and just the look in her eyes and the expression on her face that she was getting bit by the baby bug and for the first time in his life, the baby bug bit him too and his slight panic at Ada mentioning babies suddenly vanished and was replaced by the urge and need to make a baby with Hazel, but he would have to make sure they were both in a position to feel safe enough to do so. Because while he was getting older, he wasn’t that old, not yet.
“Besides, you’re still pretty young, how about you try getting to the legal drinking age in this country and enjoy your youth without kids first.” Titus gently encouraged Ada before he sat down with Hazel and he was just struck by how adorable their kids would be. So he just picked up her hand and kissed her knuckles sweetly as Hazel practically melted in her seat.
Truth be told, she was getting bit by the baby bug pretty hard too and it wasn’t the first time it bit, but it was the first time it bit with Titus and suddenly her mind started whirling with all of the possibilities. There was just two problems, 1. Gil. 2. Charlie. There’s no way with them still so close that she’d ever get the chance to have a family of her own. A relationship was already pushing it. Maybe Cor had what it took to end it. She was hoping that with all of them being gone, he would throw himself into his work unimpeded and not distracted by anything or anyone and finally be able to end this once and for all and with herself being out of the picture, she could distance herself. He had the next two weeks to do just that and she hoped he could do it, for all their sakes.
“Ok guys, who’s up for the rock wall?” Titus challenged the guys after they finished eating and went over to the rock wall, Titus and all the guys getting tethered in to race each other.
“Ok? Ready? Set? Go!” The climbing instructor challenged as they all raced up the walls, Ravus, Nyx, Luche and Titus got an early lead with Gladio, Prompto, Noctis and Ignis barely getting up there as the girls cheered them on, Regis cheering his sons and Titus on as Sylva was cheering everyone on while Hazel cheered for Titus the loudest but only seconded by Ada cheering on Luche.
“How the hell are you climbing so fast?” Luche, Ravus and Nyx asked Titus as they watched him race up the wall with surprising agility for a man his size as they did their best to navigate the wall. But Titus had a trick up his sleeve, he had studied his wall from the moment he saw it and had mentally already mapped out his route and suddenly Hazel wasn’t the loudest cheerer, Regis was. Regis was because he wanted Titus to beat the younger kids to prove that age and wisdom sometimes gave you the advantage over youth and brute strength and in record time, Titus won by being the first to ring his bell at the top but Ravus and Nyx tied for second only a second later as they both held onto the wall and looked out over the sea and then looked down at the crowd below and waived before they went back down just as Luche and Gladio tied for third to reach the top, followed by Ignis who was fourth. Prompto and Noctis, Pelna and Libertus all tied for last. Sylva and Regis having to coach them on which foot holds and hand holds to use and Regis had an ice cold beer waiting for Titus when he came down.
“And to the victor goes the spoils.” Regis beamed proudly as Titus barked a deep laugh as he took it and quickly and easily drank it down as Regis drank one himself.
“Seriously, how did you do that Coach?” Nyx asked in astonishment.
“Study the wall, see? Look at your wall, it’s not random, see- there’s a pattern, see the zig zag?” Titus pointed out on Nyx’s wall, making sure Nyx followed his line of sight.
“Oh!” Nyx, Ravus, Luche and Gladio all groaned as they mentally figured out how they could have climbed their walls better.
“Rematch!” Nyx insisted just as Libertus came down his wall.
“No! I’m done, one was enough for me.” Libertus complained.
“I’ll go again.” Ravus offered.
“Me too.” Gladio and Luche added with grins, Luche agreeing if only to hear Ada cheering for him again. He had missed that more than words could say.
The second time around, all four boys were within hundredths of seconds between each other as they had taken Drautos’ advice and taken a moment as another round of competitors had used the walls to study the walls and mentally map out their plan of attack with great success before they all got dressed in their bathing suits and enjoyed the on board water park. It was going to be one hell of a week.

It was well designed by the well known architect, Dr. Rey D. Galua, and crafted by the PLD construction. Renovation is an understatement because modern materials and way of construction was employed; where in the whole old and destructed structure was wrapped and covered with cladding, an astonishing architecture made bolder by its blue and white color combination which makes it the most modern gymnasium in the city. Its details would give justice to the reputation it now reaps from the community. As you enter the gym, you are welcomed at the lobby where low ceiling is incorporated to contrast the gym’s interior high ceiling to achieve the illusion of huge space. It is also comfort rooms, dug-out with showers for the players, assembly area for the performers, dressing rooms, control room, and spaces for indoor sports below the bleachers. Catwalks, exposed trusses, and space frames which serve as proscenium wall were exceptionally designed to spice up more the architectural elements on its interior. It is further accentuated by the porter basketball back board, center-hung electronic score board, remote controlled LCD screen and 3-layer curtain for cultural shows in case of changing backdrops. Excellent architectural lightings such as moving heads, par cans, and spotlights, were also engrafted. Indeed no one can stop the architectural prowess of this new structure in the university. High standard materials were used for the exceptional rise of the new gymnasium. Foam type thermal insulation was installed below the roof that serves a as heat insulation on one hand and an acoustical material on the other hand. The passive cooling system was introduced to achieve energy efficiency. Grade “A“ maple odor system was used similar to SM Mall of Asia Arena, and Madison Square Garden at New York, and other NBA courts at US. Excellent modern architecture fueled by modern materials and technology are the prime reasons why there are still so much to tell about this development in the university. This structure which stands proud at the heart of the campus gives the true definition of MUST and provides the most lenient and exact answer to the frequently asked question: Why are they the center of engineering and architecture? But behold because that does not stop there. The 8-storey engineering complex designed once again by Dr. Rey D. Galua is yet to make its mark in the City!

The university’s administration may have thought of its essence and importance for the students and the community in general, that was why they quickly responded to the idea of re-constructing it.

Global Combination Truck Market Size, Share, Development, Growth and Demand Forecast, 2021-2025
The combination truck simply consists of a truck tractor (as the power unit) and a semitrailer or trailer (as one or more trailing units). Thus, they are the combinations of multiple trailers on tractor trucks as compared to standard 5 axle semi-trailer-trucks with one trailer. Some of the combinations of combination vehicles are turnpike double, rocky mountain doubles, triple trailer and STAA doubles.
Combination trucks are extremely useful because they can carry an extra freight in terms of the square and cubic feet capacity as well as weight capacity. This is possible because of the extra axles it spreads out the weight across a longer area. They're also more efficient based on Ton-mileage. These trucks have gross vehicle mass (GVM) of over 9,000 kilograms and are mainly used for load carriage, long-haulage, logistics activities, etc.

HOW MUCH DOES A JANITORIAL SERVICE COST? WICHITA HOUSEHOLD SERVICES
COMMERCIAL CLEANING COMPANY PRICES WICHITA KS
Most of us spend nearly half of our waking hours each week in the office. Healthwise, the cleanliness of your workspace is just almost as important as the cleanliness of your home. Offices can also be a breeding ground for germs. A clean office means less sickness and better overall health.
The cost of commercial cleaning services depends on the type of cleaning you need, the size of your office, and the frequency of cleaning and your geographic location. It starts as low as $100 per month for small offices that need light cleaning and ranges up to $3,000 per month or more for large offices and buildings that require daily attention.
COMMERCIAL CLEANING SERVICE AVERAGE COSTS
Some office cleaning services charge based upon the square footage of your office. Rates usually range from $.05 per square foot to more than $.20 per square foot. Janitorial services in Wichita charge pay more than those in rural areas or suburbs. Often, the price per square feet is less for larger offices.
A 50,000 square foot office might cost $.05 to $.10 per square foot to clean
A 10,000 square foot office would likely cost $.10 to $.15
Other cleaning services charge hourly rates from $15 to $50 per hour depending on service frequency. The rate is usually based on the type of cleaning required, with light cleaning falling on the lower end of that price range and deep cleaning on the higher end.
Some cleaning services also charge a flat monthly fee, which is also based on the size of your office and the type of cleaning required. If you have a small office with just a handful of employees, light cleaning such as vacuuming and emptying the trash can run as little as $100 to $200 per month. However, the average price for small offices is generally in the neighborhood of $300 to $600 per month. Large offices are apt to pay anywhere from $900 to $3,000 per month.
Most office cleaning companies will ask you to sign a one to three year contract. However, there should be at least some clause that allows you to cancel the contract if you're not happy with the services. Wichita Household Services doesn’t require a contract. Service can be cancelled anytime with a call.
SPECIAL JANITORIAL SERVICES WICHITA KS
Any tasks that fall under the category of deep cleaning are going to cost extra. This includes services like floor waxing and polishing, outside window cleaning, exterior power washing and carpet extracting (essentially dry cleaning). These special services are likely to run an extra $.10 to $.30 per square foot.
Business in industries with higher cleanliness standards should also expect to pay more. Janitorial services charge much higher rates for the health care industry, for example, because the buildings need to be sterilized and the cleaning services are dealing with hazardous waste. Or, businesses that frequently host clients might want to have a more detailed cleaning once a week, which will add to the total monthly bill.
JANITORIAL SERVICES COST
$0.11 - $0.19 per square foot
This estimate includes janitorial services. Cost does include trash removal, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and re-stocking bathroom supplies for commercial buildings. There is an additional charge for waxing floors, steam cleaning carpets, exterior window washing, hood cleaning, pressure washing, and other specialty services.
MEDICAL OFFICE & HEALTHCARE CLEANING SERVICES
$0.14 - $0.28 per square foot
Estimate accounts for the price of medical facility cleaning services labor. Cost includes sanitizing all surfaces (i.e. door handles, exam tables), vacuuming or mopping, waste removal, toilet cleaning, and restocking bathroom supplies. However, it excludes sharps disposal, steam cleaning carpets, and green cleaning products.

WESTERN FASHION
The Great War influenced fashion and as a result clothes were simpler than ever before and toned down. Women’s skirts, which use to be floor length, rose well above the ankles! Before WWI began women’s fashion was based on Orientalism, with soft drapery and bold prints, while men’s fashion had an Edwardian style with suits during the day, formal tailcoats for the evening, and more casual attire for sporting events. During the war those fashions changed as materials were needed towards the front and necessity became more important than extravagance.
WOMEN'S FASHION:
Waistlines became looser and less defined. They also dropped closer to the natural waistline.
Women wore calf-length dresses over ankle-length fuller underskirts.
The war changed fashion by necessity. With more and more women in the workforce, they needed appropriate clothing. Thus came along shirtwaists and tailored suits. Women discarded underskirts.
High-necked collars disappeared in favor of square and v-necklines.
Girdles replaced corsets giving freedom of movement for factory workers.
Garters held up stockings.
Hats became simpler, veils and plumage no longer popular.
Lip rouge, eyeliner, and powder were accepted and lightly applied by “smart woman”
Darker colors and simpler cuts became the norm, and a new monochromatic look emerged.
According to Eileen Collard, Coco Chanel introduced costume jewelry, replacing expensive necklaces with glass and crystal beads.
Women wore their hair in one of three styles: up in a loose chignon (a knot or coil on the back of a the head), down in rivers of ringlets (like Mary Pickford), or in a new trend coming from Paris — the bob!
Most women only washed their hair once a month and used Borax or egg yolks for shampoo.
MEN'S FASHION:
Three-piece suits consisting of a sack coat (replacing the frock coat), waistcoat/vest, and trousers were worn. Either all pieces matched, or two pieces matched and one contrasted. The contrasting piece being either the trousers or waistcoat.
Trousers had turn-ups or cuffs and creases down the front and back. They were ankle length with the gap between the trousers and the shoes, which was filled with short gaiters or spats.
Special occasions called for special clothing:
blazers for sporting or casual events
Norfolk jackets with matching breeches/knickerbockers for shooting and rugged outdoor activities
morning coats for the most formal occasions
dark tailcoats and trousers with a dark or light waistcoat and worn with a white bow tie and a winged-collared shirt for formal evening occasions
Hats included silk top hats, Homburgs, bowler hats, newsboy caps, and flat caps. Straw boaters and fedora hats started gaining in popularity. Panama hats were worn for travel.
Hair was generally short. Wide mustaches were often curled.
SOLDIER'S LIFE
Life on the war front was different than any other battled that preceded the Great War. The war had begun with a series of catastrophic battles that had lasting effect up until the war ended in 1918. The most deadliest months being August and September of 1914. The armies have dug trenches that extended from the North Sea to the Swiss border. The double network of trenches was divided by no-mans land, causing both sides to be at a standstill. Each side was both the besieger and the besieged.
For soldiers in the trenches, the war had two different kinds of experiences: very difficult life and moments of actual combat in sudden bursts. Soldiers lived on a day to day existence that was trying emotionally and physically. They took very long walks, had to do hard labor, and lived in difficult conditions outside during all seasons. Life was also comprised of long periods of inactivity, discouragement and boredom that was filled with reading, writing letters, and doing craftwork in the trenches. Many also spent their days repairing shells or cave ins, and hauling food and water to the front and men to the rear. There was also lice, rats, and other vermin that lived along with the soldiers, which caused diseases to spread among the men. Rats were a HUGE problem as they were the main vermin who spread disease, and they often fed on food scraps and body parts. War also transformed the bodies of men, as they lost weight and grew a lot of facial and body hair from lack of hygiene. Survival was the worst enemy for soldiers on the front as most didn’t even see the enemy. The network of trenches were very confusing, especially in the dark, so many were marked with names as numbers.
The German trenches were much more tolerable with concrete bunkers and elaborate barracks that went several stories below ground - accompanied by lightning.
Any food that arrived came cold, and during artillery bombardments it wouldn’t come for hours or days. Most food that was eaten was hard bread, canned meat and instant coffee. When emergency rationing was made, a chocolate cake powder of meat, wheat, and chocolate, it was the first success at instant food. Buried bodies were often unburied by Artillery blasts and re-buried by another in many sectors of the front lines. At night every two weeks, new units from the rear came to relieve those in the front, to give soldiers “rest” from the constant barbarment. This so called rest was usually a lot of labor.
UNITED STATES
The Great War is a transitional time in America. The nation has moved from the Gilded Age into what is known as the Progressive Era. A surge in railroad construction, industrialization, growth in real wages, and an influx of immigrants to the country. Most immigrants came from Europe. There was also a lot going on at the time, women fighting for their rights, scientific discoveries, moderation and reform. Technology is meager, financial ruin is one downturn away, war is ongoing in Europe, and Americans had choices to make between cars, clothes, food and home with a monotonous consumer economy.
Working conditions in 1917 were horrible, mediocre at best. Eighty-five percent of men over the age of 14 are in the labor force. With the dawn of scientific management, factory workers found a new co-worker joining their ranks - the time clock. Those who worked in any manufacturing job found themselves working an average of 55 hours a week. They worked in dangerous conditions with 61 deaths per 100,000 workers. Women didn’t work if at all, with the majority of those who did finding employment in education. This is mainly because school boards preferred female teachers because they were more loving and accepted less wage than men. Social Security hasn’t existed as making it to an old age during this time was a feat among itself. Life expectancy was also not very high - at only 54 years of age. For those who reached old age they lived in poverty, because they couldn’t work. The industrializing economy was no country for old men and women.
America has one-third of its population living on farm or in rural areas. The business of America at the time was still farming, but it was slowly being removed by industrialization. Half of all families lived in spread our rural areas where population count reached below two thousand. The same families also had an average of four people per household. This was because few could afford to live alone. Children lived under their parents roof until they married (average 21), widows moved back in with children when their husband died, and pretty much nobody got divorced. Even owning a house was difficult as mortgages typically required 50% down payment. As a result there were more renters than owners - with four times the amount. Buying was just a hassle.
Babies were precious and held on a high regard. Women had more children because children were more likely to die - ten percent of infants died in the first year. Women also still gave birth at home with few going to the hospital. Midwives were used 87% more than Doctors as hospitals still weren’t trusted when you could deliver in the comfort of your own home. As families relocated to cities, many sent their children to work. There was no “high school” and no “teenagers” because social standards didn’t have an isolated environment for the word to exist. “Teens didn’t create "high school." High schools created “teenagers."” Kids being forced to toil in the mill or in a factory was why there was no compulsory education for those over the age of fourteen. With the average income being only $800 a year it was important for all hands on deck to do their party in bringing in money as soon as they were old enough.
Americans walked everywhere, or took a streetcar if they lived in a city. Streetcars were the biggest means of transportation with lines crisscrossing in every direction. The commute was the only great thing during this time, as most could walk to work as it was nearby. If it was too far to walk people rode horses and hitched their horse on rails that lined up and down the streets. Only one of every fifty people had cars, and there weren’t many car-friendly places one could drive it. There was even a fear that young men and fast cars was uprooting romance. So much that in 1909 Cole Porter wrote a song about keeping away from a fellow with an automobile.

GREAT BRITAIN
The Great War in Great Britain is a time full of sorrow, fear, and grief. When war was declared in 1914 many men choose to go fight. However, many more choose to stay at home and provide for their families. The streets were flooded with celebrations as many believed the war would end in Christmas of the same year. Those that didn’t join were looked at as cowards - and were refused service by shops and pubs. This was because many believed a victory against Germany - and a quick one at that - needed the vast majority of the nation to support and join up in arms. This enthusiasm didn’t last after the Battle of Marne, as it became obvious that a long and deadly war had set in.
Conscription came two years later as the Army needed more men to fight. Any man age 18-41 were forced to fight in the armed forces. This left women to take on roles outside of the home, making explosive shells and others went to work in the country as Land Girls or hospitals as nurses. As the war went on more and more women took on men’s jobs. Older relatives looked after children as the women worked, and any children old enough to work did so to help with living expenses.
Divorce was very unusual, but there was still a lot of single families from fathers dying in war and mothers who were killed in explosions at the factories. Some mothers had also died in childbirth as medicine was not as advance at the time. In many cases both sets of parents died and a child had no other relatives to take them in, so they were sent to an Orphanage or poor house with others who didn’t have a home. The war changed the life of children as prior to it children were “seen and not heard”. They became more involved in supporting war efforts at home and as a result were more respected.
As the war went on a huge fear swept through Great Britain, which sapped morale and support from the citizens. The British Government had a huge task ahead of them to keep spirits high and rallying troops, and the entire nation, to the war efforts. Loyalty was fleeting, however, as independent labor parties, unions of democratic control, and women’s leagues opposed the war. This led to anti-war demonstration and riots in industries. While some resistances were crushed, others held strong to support for independence leaders, and resistance to the war still grew.
Since the declaration of war the Government passed the Defence of the Realm Act (DORA), which gave authorities the power to intervene in the lives of their citizens. They were empowered to take over factories or workshops, curfews and censorships were imposed, and restrictions on movement introduced. One couldn’t even discuss military matters in public lest they be thrown in jail and tried as a spy. Almost anyone could be arrested for “causing alarm” so people learned to keep quiet. Pub hours were cut, beer was watered down, and any woman suspected of having venereal disease could be stopped by police and subjected to an gynaecological examination. Any woman that tested positive with VD could be prosecuted for having sexual intercourse with a serviceman. It didn’t matter if the man was her husband and had given her the disease in the first place. The woman was still in the wrong.
Any outsiders were held on high suspicion and thought of as spies. DORA and the Aliens Restrictions Act severely curtailed any non-British born subjects. Even those who had resided in the country for decades. They were forced to register, obtain permits if they intend to travel more than five miles, and weren’t allowed to go into certain areas. More than 32,000 were held in internment camps or sent back to their own country. This suspicion rose even more after the sinking of the Lusitania by a German submarine in 1915, causing anti-German sentiments to erupt into riots. This caused 200 business to be destroyed in Liverpool, only 2 of 21 Metropolitan London police districts were freed from riots, and the country fell into hysterical methods of violence. Those that were accused of spying were forced out of their homes and the spy fever rose. Many right-wing newspapers had claims of a list of traitors and spies in high places.
The war led to inflation and many poor families couldn’t afford the increase. The impact of the German U-boats led to food, fuel, and material shortages as everything was directed towards the war front. Working-class families were better off with the rationing, rent control, rising bacon imports and increased consumption of milk and eggs. Transportation was done mostly on bikes with few cars and trucks, as they were used mainly for the upper class and transport of goods.
MISC FACTS
JRR Tolkien wrote his first book about middle earth
Jobs in the civil service, factories, docklands and arsenals, tramways, Post Office and farms were feminised.
There were newly established Women Police Volunteers, Women Police Service and Women Patrol Committee
Women were still paid only half of what men earned
This was the first time civilians were attacked during an war
Civilians had a relatively low chance of being killed in enemy raids. Only 1,300 civilians were killed when Zeppelins rained bombs on London in 1915 and Gotha Giant bombers followed in 1917
Dogs were used as messengers to carry orders to the front lines in capsules attached to their bodies.
By October 1915, these raids effectively ended when pilots from the Royal Naval Air Service flew night patrols to protect the city
More than 41,000 men had their limbs amputated during the war; 272,000 suffered injuries in the legs or arms that did not require amputation; 60,500 were wounded in the head or eyes; and 89,000 sustained other serious damage to their bodies.
GERMANY
The Great War in Germany is a time of hardship and famine. The Allied forces had cut off supplies to Germany that the people had to rely on their own agriculture to feed its civilians and it’s mast army. This lack of food also affected the people health. Mortality rate rose among the citizens, with many dying of malnutrition or diseases related to weakened bodies. Any food that was available was expensive, and wages weren’t high enough for families to afford a balanced meal.
Things got worse by 1915, especially those in Urban areas, and resentment towards those living in rural areas grew. Farmers were accused of stashing food away for themselves and riots began across the land in response to the food shortages. By 1916, soap, fat, cheese, and butter were unavailable, while coal, shoes, and textiles were scarce. Food prices kept climbing and so the Government implanted maximum prices on certain items. They also established compulsory “meatless” and “fat less” days to help combat the tension over food. Those left on the home front mostly had a diet of potatoes and bread, but even these items were difficult to acquire as the war continued.
To help control supply and distribution the Government also established war food offices. Though their power was limited and they couldn’t control other organizations that offered produce. Because so many laws were implanted during the war, it was difficult to control and oversee them all at once, which led to counterproductive outcomes that didn’t help families.
Families had to adapt to significant changes during WWI. Since Conscription took so many men away, family identities changed and the youth found themselves unable to depend on their parents to provide for them. So they took jobs to supplement the lack of income. Women also took jobs left behind by men, but they were being treated as inferior and paid less than the children who worked alongside them. But there was no choice as everyone in the household had to work, if they were able, just to survive. Enthusiasm towards victory has faded with the large amounts of casualties and dwindling supply on the home front.
Children suffered the most from the Allied blockade on Germany, especially those in working class. Severus malnutrition was very common among children. Especially in the Winter of 1916 and 1917, as turnips were used to substitute potatoes and meat. As food rationing got worse the German government even had to cut back on soldiers rations. Causing morale to plummet both on the home front and those fighting in the war. Hot water soon became in short supply as well, with street lightening and the closing of entertainment following soon after. Many flocked into large cities because there was no work or supplies where they lived, causing overcrowded living conditions.
Overall, daily life involved long working conditions, poor health, no food supplies, little to no recreation, and a constant fear for the safety of loved ones fighting in the war.

FRANCE
The Great War in France is unique compared to the other Allied countries. The country was split into three parts: war-front France, occupied France, and behind the lines France. During this time France is considered a great power as it’s military recovery began long before 1911. After a series of laws was passed, it was mandatory for all boys to serve in the military for two years. The army became a second republic school, and celebrating the military during important events like military parades and Bastille Day celebrations on July 14th, allowed the army to find it’s place amongst the citizens. To be in the army, to French citizens, meant you got to protect your homeland. It was a sense of pride and patriotism.
France was a prosperous country and the patiently constructed republican party was the root of its strength. However, that doesn’t mean there were tension and struggles as socialist parties fought back against the government. Their goal was to represent the interest of the working class and this caused many citizens to side with them. Beyond the political and social tensions, however, the government was still broadly accepted in the countryside and cities. With France’s renewed prosperity, the ramped up market kept the country stable and the pre-war years were among the best the country has experienced. At this time France was the fourth largest industrial power, which allowed the economy to prosper. This prosperity was what gave low birth fatality rates, which allowed families to not have to worry about having so many children in fear of deaths. It was normal for families to have at most only three children, and even less, by the eve of the war. When France entered the war it was a rich, powerful, and politically stable country, whose culture influenced even the Western countries of America and Great Britain. The morning France declared war on Germany the citizens were still coming to terms with the assassination of Jean Jaurès, leader of the socialist party, and many were astonished at the move of the government. This followed a mix of emotions among the French citizens, enthusiasm for some, resolution for the majority. A lot of citizens showed loud displays of patriotism by vandalizing shops that were deemed to be owned by “enemies”.
The first six weeks of war was not only brutal for the French soldiers, but also for the civilians. 900 civilians died within the first weeks along with dozen of burned out villages. Popular propaganda often depicted “German barbarism” and references to atrocities. Many civilians that were captured by the enemy were used as forced laborers. Many were lucky enough to flee, but those that weren’t often found themselves shipped to Germany, be on constant watch by soldiers for any movements, and poor living conditions. Those that fought back with violence and didn’t succeed, were met with either horrible prison conditions or death. Those that weren’t shipped to Germany and used as forced labor in France, became silent allies to French soldiers by helping them escape to neutral countries, hid them from the enemy, and even became spies. The women who were captured found themselves in an affective and sexual relationship between themselves and the enemy. This led to fleeting relationships, aside from prostitution and rape (which wasn’t common surprisingly), and were viewed by many who didn’t partake in these relationships as suspicious. Many of these relationships resulted in illegitimate births of “enemy children”.
Winters were also harsh for French citizens as it became difficult to acquire provisions and heating up food. Prices hikes became more severe than in previous months during the war, so the government began to distribute ration cards to help cover these costs. Strikes soon followed, with women leading the charge as they were paid less than men for doing the same amount of work, which produced a large-scale movement that affected the entire country. Even men took up strike with the women. The strikes never escalated into violence, and the movement was appeased when demands were met: improved working conditions, shorter hours, and wage increases. Despite the harsh winters, life still went on for civilians as they enjoyed leisure, artistic, and cultural activities.
As the home front took in refugees from the occupied lands of France, a new form of solidarity arose and strong ties and connections took root. Civilians found common ground with the war tearing apart families and couples, and living conditions being harsher than before. Millions of letters were sent sent daily between the war and home fronts. This gave civilians a much more understanding of how things were going at the war front. The home front was also transformed into a giant hospital, with schools, and even people own homes being turned into civilian hospitals. The presence of these wounded men made the war seem more tangible to the violence that occurred. War charities flourished for those behind the line, as they were a favoured means for civilians to participate in the war.

OTTOMAN EMPIRE
The Great War in the Ottoman Empire (modern-day Turkey) was a strong ally of Germany and entered the war with a surprise attack on Russia. They saw the war as an opportunity to gain back lost territories and incorporate new lands into the empire. They were well armed thanks to Germany and their strong defensive position made them more than a match to the Allies during battles. Unlike the other great powers, the Ottoman Empire with an army and economy still suffering from three wars in the last three years before 1914. Many soldiers reported to their detail to only find that there wasn’t enough uniforms and boots to go around. The disruption from the Balkan Wars and their primitive railroad network made the Ottoman Empire the slowest to mobilize. Even when it reached it’s full strength in manpower, it just didn’t have the key weapons and modern artillery like the rest of the great powers.
Since the 16th century, the Ottoman Empire has exercised formal sovereignty over the lands of Arabia. They controlled territory in modern-day Turkey and most of the middle east. Those who weren’t Muslim subjects received regular discrimination and outright persecution. In the decade before 1915 the empire experienced a series of political upheavals. The Sultan position was reduced to just a figurehead and power was seized by young Turks - a group of well-educated Turkish military officers intent on moving the empire to a more modern era. This should’ve included ending official discrimination against non-Muslims, encouraging the education and emancipation of women, and increasing the jurisdiction of secular laws at the expanse of Islamic ones. But this didn’t succeed and efforts were halted when the Great War began.
Despite the ambitious agenda of its leaders the empire lagged behind all the other European powers - where it once in its prime had surpassed them in wealth and power. So it was no surprise that in order to gain back lands from Russia, the Ottoman Empire would side with the Ally powers.
MISC FACTS
The population was 22 million (including 12 million ethnic Turks)
The capital for the Ottoman Empire was Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul)
Islam was the leading religion in this region with discriminations towards non-Muslims
AUSTRIA-HUNGARY
The Great War in Austria-Hungary is in a dual monarchy ruled by both Austria and Hungary together over the lands of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and parts of Poland, Ukraine, and Romania. As they mobilized for war there quickly became a shortage of civil labor in the country. There was also an increase of disabled, escaped, hospital-bound, and repatriated Prisoners of Wars that threatened wartime economy with collapse. Which made Austria-Hungary into a decision to force POW into labor camps - in order for the collapse to not happen. This was an economic necessity. In the spring of 1915 the first prisoners were sent to such camps, and new authorized representatives had the task of creating order and control over all the POWs being sent into the monarchy. Many military and civilian authorities decided on the POW assignments that ranged from harvesting crops to industrial work. Any prisoners who were sent to small business or farmers came in close contact with civilians. The monarchy outlawed any sexual relations or love affairs in fear that it would destroy the concept of who the enemy was on the home front.
As hunger and discontent spread among the civilians of the monarchy during the war, a crisis mounts and Hungarian Prime Minister Istvan Tisza resigns at the request of the Austrian emperor, Karl I, on May 22, 1917. Austria-Hungary was already a great power in decline when the entered the Great War. The monarchy was already an predominantly agricultural society, but was not agriculturally self-sufficient. The war had cut off the empire’s two main sources of food, Russia and Romania, and the military effort cut domestic production significantly. To make matters even worse Hungary, who was the less powerful partner of the dual monarchy, closed its frontier with Austria in 1914 and began to heavily rely on its ally Germany to keep them in the war effort. Just recently, Emperor Franz Josef died; he was succeeded by his great-nephew, Karl I, who promised institute reforms and build consensus within the dual monarchy. However, his efforts led to disorder and dissent as he was a liberal and it went against Austria’s government. Many civilians saw the war as hopeless and a series of riots broke out throughout the monarchy damaging homes and creating chaos.
MISC FACTS
These two powers were weak and their mistakes were what led to the downfall of their monarchy and the nation as a whole.
The official language of the dual monarchy was German and Hungarian
The majority of citizens were Catholic
RUSSIA
The Great War in Russia had a devastating impact on the country. When they first entered the world the country rallied around Tsar Nicholas II, who spent most of his time on the Eastern front leading the army. This proved to be a disastrous move as it left his wife in control, and she was susceptible to the whims of Gregory Rasputin. Anyone who spoke out against Rasputin found themselves in the bad grace of the tsarian. Rasputin began to grow more and more powerful and soon chaos ensued in Russia. Things weren’t going any better at the war front either, as morale among the Russian soldiers was low and dissertation became a growing problem. Food supplies became harder to acquire for the army and civilians, especially as the war front moved closer and closer to home. Sending both fronts into total chaos.
In October 1916 railroad workers went on strike to protest poor working conditions, which soldiers were sent to force the strikers back to work. The leader of the progressives made an attack on the government in November, causing the government to be on the verge of a complete breakdown. Because of Nicholas being isolated on the warfront and too indecisive to make a decision, Rasputin dominated the home front. Food and fuel were scarce and the people of Russia were cold and hungry as Winter set in. This caused anger and discontent among the people and strikes began to occur.
Before the Great War began, Russian had made huge economic progress, however, it still lagged a long way behind the other major powers. Because of this economic situation, Russia realized it would lose a war with any of its rivals. The Tsar approved a “great army program” that increased the size of its army by nearly 500,000 men. This allowed Russia to have the largest army out of any of the others powers. However, the roads and railway conditions were mediocre at best, which made the deployment of soldiers quite difficult. The Tsar had been advise to not enter the war for it would be disastrous on Russia on matter the outcome, however, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand caused the people of Russia to be angry and called for justice.
MISC FACTS
Untrained troops were ordered into battle without adequate arms or ammunition. And because the Russian Army had about one surgeon for every 10,000 men, many wounded of its soldiers died from wounds that would have been treated on the Western Front.
With medical staff spread out across a 500 mile front, the likelihood of any Russian soldier receiving any medical treatment was close to zero
The men without rifles had to wait until their fellow men died before getting a weapon. The army was basically drowning in its own blood.
In 1916 two million Russian soldiers were killed or seriously wounded and a third of a million were taken prisoner.
By November, 1916, food prices were four times as high as before the war. As a result strikes for higher wages became common in Russia's cities.
