I need to sleep. I am putting way too much thought and upset energy into a scripted sports soap opera 😂😭 Anyway
Some Of Cryptid's Current Thoughts And Feelings™ On The State Of Her RAW Faves
1) Liv Morgan's booking.
Ya'll. I'm a Rhea simp/stan and a person second, anyone who's been on my blog for more than thirty seconds knows this 😂 And I've also made it no secret I, for the most part, am actually still enjoying the Liv v Rhea feud. So all that being said, what the fuck is going on with Liv's booking.
I know she's a heel and part of a heel faction and in-ring bullshit is the name of the game, but the fact that neither of her title defenses have been won clean (granted, she didn't technically win the Bad Blood one anyway but whatever we all know that ending was botched and she was supposed to technically win) and 9/10 times she runs from Rhea when confronted. They're making the Women's Champ look weak.
Liv can be cunning and vicious, we've all seen it; for fuck's one of my favorite theories that I'm willing to die on the hill of is Liv still just using Dominik as a pawn and is gonna drop him the moment she realizes he doesn't fit in with her plans anymore. Book the feral Liv if they're gonna keep this storyline going.
2) Finn v Damian
I mentioned this in a another post but I feel like the reason they weren't pushed as hard is because they didn't want to risk something forshadowing the PunkIntyre feud...And if that's the case, they shouldn't have had Finn turn yet. With this theory in mind, and tbh even if NOT true this would have still worked, the tldr in my head is
-Dom's turn should have been the same
-Have Finn, and the rest of the JD stick around and the rivalries be Dom v Damian and still Rhea v Liv
-Bad Blood rolls around, Dom and Damian have a match, and Finn's turn comes in the form of him and the JD assisting Dom.
-The Finn v Damian feud kicks off the same night Punk v Drew ends
There was NO REASON to have Finn turn and to wait this long to really start doing something with it. I still standby my opinion if done right, this rivalry could still be AMAZING...But it doesn't change the fact it has lost a LOT of momentum going the way it has.
3) Rhea Currently Standing Alone
To a degree, I get it. Her and Damian agreed to do their own thing because he's done with the JD (as far as he thinks.) and they're in different divisons but he would/will always come if Rhea called. I'm not a fan of how fast they split them up as a team-again, wave two of the Terror Twins shirts had barely shipped when this happened-but this segement was okay. It was sweet and mutual.
THAT SAID.
Rhea is currently in a 2v1 (not counting Dom cause I have little hopes of us ever getting a sanctioned match with them cause ✨intergender✨🙄) rivalry. Liv has Raquel...Who the fuck does Rhea have? Tiffy? Maybe, but we can't even say that for certain because as it sits right now, they're on different shows. Show borders are just currently being blurred in, assumingly, prep for Survivor Series.
Why the fuck does Rhea currently have to stand alone.
4) Jhea
THIS KINDA PIGGYBACKS OFF MY LAST PARAGRAPH AND IS THE ONE I REALLY DON'T GET??? Okay, yes, it was probably supposed to be something cute and just for fun to fill time while the other main storylines Rhea and Jey are/were in moved along. But if that was the case, why did ya'll move it to the main stage and not just keep it in backstage segments? Rhea during a preshow interview, I think it was Bad Blood?, said Jey showed her what a real man was like. Not to mention Jey coming to Rhea and Damian's defense or Jey agreeing to tag with Damian cause he "can't say no to Rhea." Why the fuck would you plant seeds like that on screen, on the main stage, and then just??? Drop it??? I don't get it???
5) JEY MOTHERFUCKING USO'S 28 DAY REIGN
I'm gonna make this one short and sweet cause you can literally see all my posts directly below this word vomit and see how mad I am 😅 But, in short; Why. Why not wait until after he's done with the Bloodline to give him a title? Why not have this same set up but give him the title ages ago. Give him a decent title reign with the same ending. Predictable at that point sure, but okay...What is the fucking point of having him, a fan favorite who everyone was cheering the house down the night he won, get his first solo title ever after fourteen years...Only to give it back to Bron less than a month later?
Bron is a GREAT preformer, do not get me wrong but making this...I don't want to say newcomer, but newer star a two time champ in his lesser time with the WWE just doesn't sit right with me.
I know Jey was gonna get involved with the Bloodline story at some point. I know it would have been hard to impossible to book him in a Smackdown story as a RAW champ...They could have done in without stripping his first non-tag title from him in under a month. We could have gotten crashout Jey going after Solo and Co without what we got tonight.

ice and snow spoilers issues #1 through #3
usagi’s arm—the one that got smashed by a kappa that one time—being the arm that got dragged by the yuki-onna 👀👀👀
watching keiko and jei eat. i’m gonna think of the emperor’s ban on meat until the day i die. meat was something basically everyone enjoyed anyway, if they could get their hands on it (the hikone clan gifting “medicine” to the emperor, the illicit meat market trade in the bigger cities, the fact that poorer towns with poorer harvests relied on hunting as another avenue for food), but these two really don’t do things by half, huh.
jei casually rooting through someone’s mind and memories, his victims eyes momentarily going white.
side note, i love these little details, like their (straw?) winter capes being “well-oiled to make them waterproof and keep in the heat,” i was wondering how those worked.
for tbs au stuff, i’ve been looking into housing around this general era. and it’s interesting to compare the few remaining farmer houses of the edo period (along with some amazing recreations in japanese museums), to what stan puts on the page. he’s a comic artist, and that means he has to work fast, and that means simplifying a lot of what he works with. no one except the nitpickers are going to care if his houses look less than lived in when there’s a greater story going on.
and in this case, it makes sense if the yuki-onna doesn’t have that much stuff lying around.
nonsequitor: yuki-onna’s fire burnt hair cut looks kinda gay (approving)
jei proves to be far more interesting when his face isn’t just stuck like that. or when he’s having opinions.
for the longest time, part of jei’s only slightly interesting angle was the fact that he was shrouded in mystery. but in my opinion, that’s held him back a lot. having keiko around, spilling his backstory, having him interact with other supernatural beings—all of that helps him become more like a character than a force of nature. which, in theory, sounds a little like a downgrade. but it’s not. lord hikiji can pull off the former, because his actions are used very sparsely by stan sakai, while simultaneously ghosting the entirety of the narrative. there is no story without him. by comparison, we get a lot of jei. and it only serves to draw attention to how little substance he has as a character.
he doesn’t have an arc. he never learns anything or grows (prior to keiko). he interacts with bandits the most (this is what, the second or third time he’s become someone’s boss?), but only to kill them really. and watching them cower around him gets real old, real fast.
even watching him fight usagi isn’t actually that interesting. i’m never as worried for usagi as i am for other characters. (rest in peace, inazuma—and hold on yukichi.)
unrelated: jei is made of void, confirmed /j

Have you seen some fans that are legit trying to say Cody is the one that elevated Jey? These people legit did not pay ATTENTION to the 3 year build of the bloodline and how OVER Jey was when he left Smackdown. The only people that get that credit is The Bloodline, The Usos and Jey himself.
I don't like Cody, I didn't like him before he left, I don't like him now, but I'm sincerely convinced that those people really don't like him either. They're just haters who have been dreaming for years of seeing the entire samoan dynasty fail just because they finally made it out of the shit WWE kept them buried in for years and managed to succeed with their skills. Those are not stans, they're not even wrestling fans, they're just idiots with peanuts for brains.

JENNIFER👏JAREAU👏DESERVED👏BETTER👏
✨it’s rant time✨
buckle up lads bc it’s gonna be a doozy
tw// suicide mention, tw// canon typical cm violence, tw// je— 🤢 jei—🤢🤢 i can’t even fucking say it 🤢🤢🤢 je*d
so yesterday i was watching criminal minds again (wow shocker) again for the first time in like,,,, 3 months??? [that’s not important] on weTV (which was just so happening to air reruns from season 3) and there was one thing that really stuck out to me that i didn’t necessarily think about much until i went into work today
season 3, episode 15 “a higher power” shows the team going up to pittsburgh to investigate a spike in suicides rates in the community under the suspicion that it’s the work of a serial killer (okay, cool, normal fucked up every day BAU life, nothing really sus there)
but what really kinda just hit me out of the blue today was just.... how unaffected jj was by the whole case in general
the team is maybe at most, a few hours away from her hometown, with the main topic of the case being surrounded by multiple suicides and taking her past into consideration (she’s literally a stone’s throw away from her hometown where she lost her sister to suicide) and yet she just.... remains unbothered... she never toys with the necklace around her neck or ever seems uncomfortable despite this case hitting way too close to home
i guess just rewatching this episode really just... opened my eyes into how underdeveloped jj was character wise for a really long time (i mean really we know more about gideon and elle in season 4 than we do jj and they had been gone for at least a season and a half at this point)
i mean.... i guess in in heat we get... something??? when we find out that she’s been seeing will for nearly a year?? cool i guess??? and we do get an episode named after her but really it doesn’t tell us much about her background or dive more into her story other than “oh strauss is forcing me to leave that sucks” but it doesn’t really go much into detail about anything beyond that
oh hotch handpicked her to join the unit but i don’t think it ever gets any deeper than that (when it should have!!!!??!!) [correct me if i’m wrong]]
by season 5 we have a detailed idea about every other character on the team (with the only exception possibly being garcia but i digress)
we know hotch has a younger brother that looks absolutely nothing like him and said brother wants to be a chef
we know rossi came back to the bau because of a cold case that’s gone unsolved for twenty years
we know every year, morgan goes home for his birthday and visits the grave of the john doe he found when he was a teenager
we know way too much about reid and his issues jesus christ
fucking hell we even know about emily’s dark past, how much it still haunts her even before we get the ian doyle arc
even ashley seaver has a deeper storyline than jj at this point like ffs
jj.... well..... she has that boyfriend down in louisiana ig?????
and that’s what becomes annoying
jj’s character really isn’t developed past more than i have a boyfriend and i’m pregnant up until maybe, and that’s a really generous maybe, the episode will gets held hostage at a bank and damn near gets himself killed (we see her with henry.... again, i’m being very generous here)
really, we don’t see jj get any sort of deep development the rest of the team has been getting until 200
i loved seeing her finally get some depth, for her character to finally be treated as if she’s an important asset rather than a pretty face that deals with media
she becomes a character we can sympathize with!!! she has issues and fears and traumas!!! finally!!!
and then they keep expanding on her as the seasons continue!!! like yes!!! this is what i wanted from the beginning!!! jj deserved this!!!
and then
it all comes crashing and burning into a pile of shit with five words
five
words
you know the words so i really don’t have to type them out and become unnecessarily angry
but wtf
all that character development they had spent building up over the years, after finally starting to get the ball rolling to making jj a solid character the writers decided “,,,,,,let’s just boil her down romantic feelings she kept hidden for....reid.” (of all people????? confusion)
the biggest sigh i just let out
first of all, that’s such an overdone trope in hollywood and in modern times we’re sick of it we need way more flavor than that
second of all it just..... ruins jj’s character right there on the spot
a majority (maybe i’m just generalizing) but most people in the fandom are reid stans and of COURSE they’re going to be absolutely livid at that bitch jennifer jareau pulling that card on their favorite little twink
it makes her look like a bitch
and it literally makes no sense whatsoever
they went on one “date” once in season 1 and it’s never mentioned again until jj confides to emily in the bathroom in the first episode of season 14
they have about as much romantic chemistry as two planks of wood
what was so wrong with jj and reid being best friends/having a sibling like relationship (which would have been a big deal for jj!!! to let someone that close again!!!! but no!!!!!!! jj is woman!!!!!! reid is man!!!! they must have romantic chemistry!!!!!! gross)
why did jj have to have hidden romantic feelings for reid
please tell me why that was a thing
and then the writers (probably sensing that they in fact fucked up big time) just kinda.... brush it off in 15
“u were my first love” reid: “oh okay (is sad for the duration of the season)”
it doesn’t fix what happened
it doesn’t change what happened
jj still looks like a huge bitch to a majority of the fandom
and it was overall a completely useless and pointless arc that just set out to completely ruin jj and it’s so infuriating
what was the reason
what was the reason
why u gotta do it to her like that writers
i’m sad jj deserved so much better than what those stinky writers did to her
tldr: jj deserved better

Inktober 2018 - Sakaitober
Another year, another Inktober. And this time, about my all-time favorite comic book.
Since I discovered “Grasscutter” right before going to college, I tried to get every single “Usagi Yojimbo” issue published in Spain. Every year, I buy the newest book, and every year I re-read all the tomes I have. Yes: every single year. And I keep discovering little details here and there that I didn’t realize before.
So it isn’t strange that, sooner or later, I’d make an Inktober based on Stan Sakai’s comic series.
Tumblr media
It was 31 pictures, as October has... well, 31 days, but then turned into 32, because of a couple of characters missing in my list. Because Yagi & Gorogoro deserve to be here as well, even if it was on November 1st.
So with no further ado, here is the list with the links to each picture.
1. Miyamoto Usagi
2. Tomoe Ame
3. Murakami Gennosuke “Gen”
4. Kitsune & Kiyoko
5. Chizu
6. Inspector Ishida
7. Sanshobo
8. Zato Ino & Fujiko
9. Jei & Keiko
10. Inazuma
11. Kagemaru
12. Jotaro
13. Kenichi & Mariko
14. “Stray Dog” Inukai
15. Lord Hebi
16. Katsuichi
17. Lord Noriyuki
18. Ikeda & Motokazu
19. Nakamura Koji
20. Ryoko & Kitanamono
21. Kimi
22. Sasuke
23. Noriko
24. Shingen
25. Kakera
26. “General” Fujii
27. Gunichi
28. Lord Mifune

Be to, drėgna kempinėlė sugeria mažiau produkto nei sausa.

Ant sudrėkintos odos makiažas atrodo geriau, be to, sudrėkinta oda po makiažo sluoksniu yra sveikesnė. Pirštų galiukais švelniai užtepkite drėkinamosios priemonės ant odos – taip priemonė geriau įsigers, be to, atsipalaiduos veido raumenys. Leiskite odai sugerti drėkinamąją priemonę ir servetėle nuvalykite priemonės perteklių.
Drėkinamasis kremas intensyviai apsaugo ir drėkina net labiausiai išsausėjusią odą ir akimirksniu pagerina jos tekstūrą. Prieš tepdama makiažo pagrindą, būtinai sudrėkinkite odą kremu tam, kad suminkštėtų ir išsilygintų jos paviršius. Naudokite lengvą drėkinantį dieninį kremą, kuris greitai įsigeria ir nepalieka blizgesio.
Makiažo gruntas
Makiažo gruntas mano manymu, gruntas nėra privalomas kasdieniam makiažui, tačiau tais atvejais, kai reikia atrodyti nepriekaištingai, be jo neišsiversite. Be to, naudojant makiažo gruntą, makiažas ilgiau išlieka.
Tokio tipo odai geriausia naudoti pagrindą be aliejaus.
Mišrios odos tipas labiausiai paplitęs. Skirtingose veido vietose oda gali būti sausa arba riebi. Tokiai odai labiausiai tinka vandeninis pagrindas arba birus pagrindas.
Jautriai odai būdinga alergija kosmetikos produktuose esantiems chemikalams ir kvapams, tokia oda gali būti sausa, riebi arba mišri. Siekiant išvengti alergijos, tokiai odai reikėtų naudoti specialius jautriai odai skirtus pagrindus. Tokie pagrindai gali būti kiek brangesni, tačiau juos įsigyti tikrai verta.
Pagrindas
Ant odos išnykstantis atspalvis Jums tinka labiausiai.Dar geriau, jei patikrinsite, kaip pasirinktas atspalvis atrodo dienos šviesoje, nes tik esant tokiai šviesai matyti tikslus vaizdas. Tinkamo atspalvio beveik neįmanoma atskirti nuo natūralios odos spalvos.
Naudojimo patarimai
Pudra

Tumblr media
3. Ant akiduobės kaulo užtepkite natūralios spalvos švytėjimą suteikiančių skaistalų.
4. Galite nenaudoti skysto akių kontūro, jo vietoje galite naudoti juodus, tamsiai pilkus arba tamsiai rudus akių šešėlius, kuriais sukursite padūmavus efektą.
5. Dabar užrieskite blakstienas ir užtepkite kelis sluoksnius tušo. Padūmavusių akių makiažas baigtas.

My Thoughts On Yojimbo
Wow!!!! That episode is awesome, Stan Sakai wrote the episode and it was amazing. Usagi is awesome, loved the fight scenes.
The animation was awesome, lots of awesome shots.
SPOILERS
It didn't bother me that it took the Turtles 8 mins to appear in the episode because the focus was needed on Usagi and his character building.
Jei is scary, he makes my skin crawl.
Pretty dark episode because. I noticed there seemed to be a lot of deaths in this episode. Jei killing a family, Sumo Kuma and his Samurais soldiers wiped out a village and it looked like Usagi and the Turtles killed some of those Samurais too.
Kintaro (or in Mikey's case Pugtaro) is annoying but he's likeable and I bet Mikey will become friends  with him.
Poor Donnie getting the blame for transporting them to another Dimension
When Jei put the spell on the Turtles, he went to Mikey first because if he went to the other turtles first, Mikey would of suspected something was wrong, so he had to turn Mikey first.
The Turtles vs Usagi fight scene was awesome.
I have a feeling the turtles could be still under Jei's spell, the turtles getting knocked out of the spell seemed to easy.
Lol Raph still having trouble with horses.
The horse chase scene was awesome and intense.
Mikey was badass, he jumped off his horse (didn't see it happen though) ran through the trees and jumped onto another horse taking out a evil samurai and then it looked like he killed 3 evil samurais. He was even standing up on a horse. He also jumped off his horse again to take out 2 more evil Samurais then jumped on to Raph’s horse.
It looked like that Donnie killed one evil Samurai, he got trampled to death by Donnie's horse.
Poor Kintaro rolling around in that barrel.
Loved the cliffhanger ending, can't wait for next week.

A delightful book for Disney fans of all ages. The Disney Christmas newspaper strip debuted in 1960 with “Peter Pan’s Christmas Story,” in which Captain Hook tries to sabotage Christmas. It was such a success that new stories were created yearly, each self-contained, each featuring characters from another animated movie, and each leading up to Christmas Eve and Santa off to deliver his presents. The “Disney-villain-wants-to-spoil-Christmas” plot was exploited with inventive variations each year. Stories include “Cruella’s Very Furry Christmas,” “Snow White’s Christmas Surprise,” “Dumbo and the Christmas Mystery,” “Cinderella’s Christmas Party,” “The Three Little Pigs’ Christmas Story,” and many more. All 28 special holiday stories are collected in a book for the first time.
