Steddie soulmate AU where Eddie is a famous musician, everyone assumes he doesn't have a soulmate. Eddie was just smart and doesn't confirm, doesn't want to go through rabid fans who claim to be his soulmate. He's had too many show up wearing his initials they tattooed on themselves even before he was asked about soulmates in an interview.

Enter Steve Harrington who works as a nurse. Just casually on his third nightshift in a row in the ER. Sipping some coffee trying not to fall asleep when they get the call about some confidential patient coming in.

Eddie comes in for some injury. Steve has 0 clue who he is, just says "You look familiar, did we go to school together?" And Eddie practically falls off the stretcher at Steve's feet. Goes all googoo eyes at him. Steve being mildly concerned because Eddie's heart rate keeps skyrocketing (its because Steve is touching him).

One of the other nurses can't help but try and get the gossip from Steve, who is very much confused as to why she cares about this random patient. She tells Steve who Eddie is, and he's just like ???? Okay???

Steve doesn't admit it but the picture she shows is HOT. It's Eddie, flipping off the camera, tongue out. He's covered in tattoos, including the word 'sorry' written in a weird script on his middle finger. He's shirtless and his pants are so low that Steve can see the dip of his hips creating a v and-

Steve has to walk into the supply room to get himself under control. Pretends it doesn't mean anything and goes back to his job as his heart thuds rapidly in his chest.

Eddie tries not to pass out when they draw his blood, Steve holds his hand. It feels right. Eddie can't help wanting to ask," Hey, do you have a soulmate?" But he hates being asked that question, so he won't.

Until Steve bends over, his scrub top lifting up slightly. Eddie can't help glancing at his ass, but then he can't breathe. Because on his lower back is the initials EJM.

"Steve G. H?" Eddie asks as his voice goes up an octave. Steve turns, bewildered ," How did you-?" "Edward James Munson." Eddie whispers.

We're moving to a place and assembling the shelf with all our works. It's still missing quite a few more works but the base is set hahah Up are @stjepan-sejic creator own works, middle shelf are his work for hire and on the lower I prepped mine, still missing some stuff so that's a future Linda problem. Also we now finally have space for all the figurines we were hoarding over the years, gonna have to prep that too heheh

okay but retired from the Navy Bradley, who's let his curls grow long and has a bit of a tummy and isn't as defined as he was before/during/right after the mission meeting Jake again about a year later (so he's worked through a bit of his issues but not all of them but also having come to the realization he's actually been in love with Jake for more than a decade), who's now a flight instructor in North Island and smiling all soft and shy while Jake looks struck dumb, boy's walking into shit because he just can not get over how good Bradley looks now and is internally blue screening because he wants to climb Bradley like a try and falling through floors and windows as he comes to the startling realization he's been in love with Bradley for more than a decade.

Just. Soft Bradley, who's let himself go and worked on himself and lets himself come back into Jake's life to see if the spark is there on Jake's side.

And Jake constantly going through it because he's speed running coming to all these realizations about himself and Bradley and what he wants for his life and what he wants for them.

i dont really get how people are confused about mario "not recognizing" mr L bc like. we the viewer know whats up from seeing that Nat can full on rewire loyalties, but the heroes have just seen that this team has a shapeshifter and an illusionist, recruiting some asshole that looks kinda like their friend/brother is right up the same alley imo

YEAH. cos i mean, lowest bar, easiest, most doylist answer: this is a game for kids and families. the level it's speaking to is the type of suspension of disbelief where a LOT can happen. this is the type of narrative where groucho glasses make someone unrecognizable. if they say nobody knows who mr. l is then nobody knows who he is. simple as.

I LIKE YOUR ANGLE TOO THOUGH cos its one of those angles that gives a tangible/interesting answer to the question without going "WHY DIDNT THEY RECOGNIZE HIM THATS STUPID". they didnt recognize him because you cant go on a rescue mission to get luigi back

i have my own thoughts on the answer, of course, which is also along the lines of "yeah team bleck is literally full of magicians, illusionists and shapeshifters, it wouldn't be hard to disguise mr. l's identity". i sketched a little comic about it since this is on my mind now

tl:dr; it's been my headcanon for a long time that mr. l's mask itself is what's doing the "heavy lifting"- it's got some sort of magic that wouldn't change his appearance at all, but make it so that people wouldn't recognize him. it would also be why the opposite fact isn't true, too, of "why don't the bleck minions recognize mr. l when he's back to being luigi?" and it would also serve a tertiary purpose of making his eye colour appear silver instead of red so, yknow, on the off-chance the heroes did figure out mr. l is luigi, they wouldn't see the one trait that gives away that people have been brainwashed by nastasia. if they ever figured it out, maybe they'd think luigi switched sides on purpose and would feel angry or betrayed?

that's all in the realm of headcanon though haha- the ramblings of someone who has been thinking about this game for wayyyyy too long

Touya is always in the workshop. Always.

It's not uncommon to find him sleeping hunched up against a workbench.

He works best at three in the morning, which means he's constantly getting into arguments with his classmates over tools and equipment because he never puts anything back and they constantly have to snatch stuff from his work desk

He can and will throw a fit if you have to get your gear repaired by someone else "I'm right here!" Type of vibes

Touya is a shameless flirter who only knows how to use pick up lines and cheesy compliments he is a dork inside and that will never change

He's terrible with technology. It's kind of hilarious. Like when you catch him yelling at a hologram screen because it's refusing to do what he wants. Don't even get me started on his inability to make a decent PowerPoint. It's just those shitty preset themes and a bunch of word vomit or a bunch of pics no in between

He does have a inferiority complex low-key because you're everything he wanted to be

He's a caffeine fiend and you're pretty sure he runs on coffee, energy drinks, and spite the school is funded personally by his money in the vending machines

It's not uncommon for him to pull all-nighters, then go to class without taking a single break

All bets are off when he hits that "I've been awake for thirty plus hours" sweet spot he's having heart palpitations smelling colors but holy shit he just had the best idea on a support item and then he crashes and forgets it all by time he wakes up

And don't expect any sympathy when he gets sick. Seriously, he complains more than a hormonal fourteen year old. hell drag himself to the workshop and whine the whole time but fight tooth and nail if anyone tries to drag him out

Keigo bothers him shamelessly strutting into the workshop and leaning on the desk accidentally hitting something off the desk with his wings and Touya strangles him before a teacher gets involved

Rei couldn't be prouder and comes to all his events and he tries to be nonchalant about it but he's bouncing up and down

Always ALWAYS has oil under his nails and some sort of grease on him

I'm an advocate for Stainmight. I love them so much and have been trying to convince others just how much sense they make as a ship. Stain would absolutely do anything for Toshi. He'd reform himself and become the best version of himself if Toshi asked it of him.
