Director #StacyTitle says Canadian actress #CarrieAnneMoss has two sides of her personality -- one about living together in harmony, and another bad** persona. http://www.instamag.in/2017/01/carrie-anne-moss-is-yogi-stacy-title.html

A Comprehensive Review of the New Film “The Bye Bye Man”, by a man who showed up a few minutes late, slept through most of the rest of the film, and can’t spell the word “spoilers”
SOILERS BELOW!
Director Stacy Title’s taut psychological thriller The Bye Bye Man (pictured above?) is perhaps one of the best pieces of horror cinema to be released within the last twenty years. The film stars Carrie-Anne Moss as…FBI…Inspector…Beth? Beth struggles to crack down on the insidious serial killer The Bye Bye Man as he terrorizes a group of local kids who spend their days down by the train tracks. Beth’s skepticism about the killer’s existence brings to light her issues at home as well, which (SILLERS!) as the film goes on, conflict with her ability to solve the case. Right?
The film opens in 19…73, as Larry (played expertly by Saw’s Leigh Whannell) shoots up an entire neighborhood block, including his family, simply because (SPILLERS!) they told someone his name? This scene perfectly sets up the rest of the film, both tonally and…spiritually. If anything is lacking about Title’s film, though, it’s the editing. Because the film now jumps back and forth from this scene and the image of an oncoming train. Then suddenly, what I assume was a reasonable amount of time for a film like this, we jump to detective Beth as she confronts a group of young teens, including Elliot (Douglas Smith), her prime suspect. In the film’s pivotal scene, Beth brings Elliot back to the station and interrogates him. She begins to worry about the safety of her own children as Elliot begins to unravel both the mystery of The Bye Bye Man and Beth’s own psyche. As Elliot threatens her family (a bit of beautiful acting by Smith, whose credits are…impressive? numerous?), he gives us the film’s infamous line, “Don’t think it, don’t say it.” Another drawback to Title’s film, I assume, is that we never hear this line again. Instead, we go directly from this scene to (SPOLLS!) the beautifully rendered final credits.
The real beauty of this film is how the audience feels for Moss’ character. Moss effortlessly holds the film together and is definitely the leading character. Right?
Again, poor editing. Felt very short. Good time for a nap I’M TOLD.
