Your Acting is Amazing
Wendy knows how filming often works. It takes a long time due to outfit changes, set changes, hair and makeup... Not to mention the many takes they will film until they get the perfect shot. Wendy had filmed several videos before, but they were either school requirements, for her friends’ cover videos, or for her now-dead YouTube channel. The only time she had ever filmed something of this scale was the “Love Wishes” music video and for the Samsung phones commercial. However, this is the first time that she’s one of the stars of the video.
Filming the scenes involving the choreography and her singing her lines was surprisingly easy. After all, Wendy practically had the lyrics embedded in her memory. She has developed the habit of singing the song as she dances. It was more of trying not to actually sing while they were filming the dance scenes. Besides, there was new choreography to learn exclusively just for the music video filming. It was flattering for them to have such an esteemed senior such as Rain sunbaenim come up with choreography for their debut song.
Wendy is surprised that she struggles with the beauty shots the most. For some reason, the director isn’t happy with how she smiles or how she winks at the camera. Wendy is beginning to wonder whether the comments from some netizens are right. If she really as plain and boring as people say she is. She had watched how the other girls did it, and they all seemed to look so pretty naturally. Meanwhile, she struggled to be pretty enough for the cameras. It takes some time, but she finally figures out what the director wants and things seem to go up from there.
Frankly. Wendy’s a little disappointed that they aren’t filming in a nice foreign location like PER_SE did. They’re just stuck in a studio within Seoul, and it’s filled with a few interesting props. Wendy also would have loved to give some creative input for filming, but then again, Nova would never let her do that. Not while she’s still a rookie idol. However, that did not stop her from talking to the production staff and trying to learn as much as she could while it wasn’t her turn to film.
When it’s not her turn to be filmed or to be fixed up (or when the production staff shooed her away), Wendy spends her time reading the book she brought or working on the choreography for their music video. After all, everything had to be perfect for their video. It has been a long time coming, but they’re finally here. She also spends time fooling around with the rest of the girls. She also hadn’t forgotten her promise to BamBam oppa and had taken a few photos of them all in their outfits for both music videos.
Once everything is done, they don’t forget to thank everyone who worked hard to help them make this happen. Wendy feels so dead on her feet, not to mention mentally drained. She just hopes that everything comes out well in the end.
