🎭SSO-Related Outfit Contest🎭

Its now time for cosplay contest! SSO related! That mean you can take characters from the old SSL games, comics, books, star stable season riders or SSO itself for your cosplays.

The cosplays option have gotten second place on the misc polls three times in a row and this time it finally won. So give it an good applaud for finally getting picked.

Submittions ends 25th August 19:00(7pm) CEST.

A last minute entry for @rsenak‘s cosplay contest!

Rider: Eden Dawnvalley

Horse: Moonfall aka Lunija

Character: Arya Svit-kona

Fandom: Inheritance Cycle! (please don’t tell me I’m the only fan in this community)

Theme Song: track titled “Swimming” from the Waterworld soundtrack (the book mentions multiple times that Arya’s mind is full of dark, haunting chords and this was the first I found that met that description

So this was a bit of a creative take on the character I’ll admit. Most of the time she’s said to be wearing dark leather but she’s also heavily associated with the color green which is why I went with a black and green color scheme. With both edits I wanted to recall that nostalgic fantasy feeling, with the first edit meant to capture the same look as, say, the cover or illustration in a book, and the second meant to bring to mind the same aesthetic as most fantasy-themed films. I also chose to use Lunija for this photoshoot because she most closely matched the small white elven horses appearing in the books.

So that’s my entry, thank you for the great contest idea!! :-)

Character: A Survey Corp soldier

Fandom: Attack on Titan

Theme song: This one took the longest to find what song fits the best and I have decided on THIS ONE

Additional Information: First picture is kinda self explanatory, there’s a titan in the wall and it shouldn’t be but we can’t do anything but stare in awe and fear. Second picture is at headquarters. Showcasing the other divisions that help protect the people, the Garrison, the Military Police, and the Survey Corps. Third photo is out on an expedition. The flares are the other scouts. Red means a titan is around, seems there’s quite a few. Forth and final photo is a moment between soldier and horse. The bond a soldier can have with their horse helps to survive outside the walls.

Fandom: Precure/Pretty Cure (this particular character is from the season called Fresh Pretty Cure!)

Theme Song: idk if i had to pick a song it’d be this one bc that’s the one in her transformation sequence

Additional Information: Haaaa i picked this character bc she’s really sentimental to me?? I used to watch this show when i was like 12 and she was always my fave - she just seemed so strong and cool to me idk - so i promised myself one day i’d cosplay her irl, and sure enough, I’ve got her costume hanging up in my closet hehe

Hello!

I was thinking of making the medieval event themed contest to be two weeks but it didnt seem to be a very big event so the schedual havent changed. This sunday will be start of a misc contest and next week will be the event contest. There wasnt much in the event this first week so it seem like a good idea to wait for more updates to it.

But because the past misc contest havent had much interest I have added the option of canceling the misc contest if people dont feel up for it this time.

Season outfits won!!

Cosplay came second and Fantasy third.

I will plan different themed contests through out the year. But the first contest will be for spring season.

I will give untill the 6th April to sudmit entries and after that I will do a poll with all entries for everyone to vote on.

To keep everything simple I would like you to sudmit your entries directly to my blog.

There's a button on the corner of my blog called "Sudmit outfits" klick that to sudmit your entries. Also select the "costume competition" tag to enter the contest. Sso/star stable online tag will also make sure they are seen in the tags.

I will do a post with photos how to do that later for those who still not sure how it works.

have you considered doing an oc cosplay contest? like dress up your sso character as a non-sso oc? I think it would be fun but feel free to ignore me if you don't like the idea lol ^-^

We did actually have a cosplay contest last year in August. We got in 11 entries so it seemed like a quite liked theme.

Its an option to have for future contest! Keep an eye for the poll next month to vote for it!
