Trailblazer 3: Trail of Midwinter... hmm...

the Trailblazer tracks are definitely a fun challenge that make me (veteran player level 20+) wanna log on more, but they are also too much for the average person going to school 6:30am-3:00pm and/or work. most people do not have the free time i have in my current situation and even i struggle to keep up w that much computer time, w no help from my health issues. the chores and races need to give more points. there shouldn't be a five-day period right before the track's removal that improves point quantity; the points given during that five-day 'last hoorah' should be standard.

the rewards need to be worth more. in the beginning, the clothes were very cute, but this holiday one is disappointing (who wears a tank top and skirt in snow? why are there so many levels?). this made me realize that the track could easily turn into a lazy way to influence more screentime for more tasteless treats.

SSE is running a business, but the community is tired of being fed breadcrumbs for years when there could be sm more. i know they have a lot of big plans for the future, and i really appreciate that they have been doing these regular 'vibe checks' where they send out a Google Forms to better read their player base--more accessible and exact communication w the player base is smth i've been wanting for several years--but it still feels like they aren't reaching their full potential. they'll work on massive, time-consuming additions to the game that literally no one asked for, instead of focusing on things we have been begging them to do for ages.
