THE SIMS X SPOTIFY - CAS CHALLENGE

Hi there! How you doing? Welcome to my CAS Challenge ^^ 

I created this because I want to fill my game file with some new faces, you can try it for this same purpose or just for fun! 

This is a 7-day challenge based on daily mixes and others tools from Spotify. Idk about other music apps, but you can adapt the rules to fit other apps like Deezer, Apple Music, Tidal, Youtube Music, etc. It's recommended to open your game in the windowed mode to switch between programs or use your cellphone to use the music app. Read more about it:

1st day - Favorite Band

- open your app and search for your favorite band - pick or select a number between 1 to 5 - go to your favorite band top 5 musics and play the song corresponding to the previous selected number  - enjoy the music and let your imagination flow, create your sim and make the band name its last name, example: my favorite band is called The Word Alive that means that I can name my sim John Alive or Mary Word. - tip: keep the music on repeat so you can spend more than 1, 2 or 3 minutes making your sim

2nd day - Local Pride - open your app and search for your country - choose a playlist that has the name of your country on it, example: I live in Brazil, so I can choose something that is named Brazil songs or brazilian rock - listen to this playlist the entire time you are making your sim 3rd day - Daily Mixes 1 to 3 - open your app and search for your daily mixes (each person has diffent daily mixes) - while you listen to your daily mix 1 you’re gonna make your sim’s head (eyes, mouth, nose, cheeks, chin, jaw, hair, ears) - while listening to your daily mix 2 you're gonna decide about your sim's body (physical form, skin color, skin details, birthmarks, tattoos, body hair, etc) - while listening to your daily mix 3 you're gonna give your sim clothes and accessories or leave them naked if the music inspires you to do that 4th day - Daily Mixes 4 to 6 -you're gonna do the same thing from the 3rd day, but use mix 4 for your sim's head, mix 5 for their body and mix 6 for clothing and accessories - if you don't have that amount of Daily Mixes you can put your favorites on repeat

5th day - Discover Weekly - It is so good to discover a new music! Search for your Discover Weekly playlist, start listening to it and open your game - if the music playling is sung by a female make a male sim, if the music playing is sung by a male make a female sim, if it's sung by a gender fluid or transgender person make a gender fluid or transgender sim. - also don't forget to save the music you like

6th day - Not my genre - I know you have a favorite genre of music but I want you to be more open-minded so now you have to choose a genre that you don't like or don't listen to often. Example: I don't like country music at all, so I'll have to listen to this genre for this challenge - make your sim while listening to a playlist of the chosen genre  7th day - Looks like you’re from a movie - think about your favorite movie, search for its soundtracks on your app and let it play, exemple: one of my favorite movies is 10 Things I Hate About You so I will listen to songs that were in this movie - open your game and start doing your sim - you're gonna name your sim after your favorite character and their surname is gonna be the same surname as your second favorite's. Example: my favorite character is Kat Stratford and my second favorite is Patrick Verona so my sim is gonna be named Kat Verona.

  Note: you can change things about this challenge or skip some steps, if you don’t have a favorite movie but you have a favorite tv show you can do it, if you don’t want to make a sim based on your country but based somewhere you visited you can do it, you are free, let your imagination flow!!!!

This challenge is about improving your imagination and intuition skills, let your feelings speak through your sim. Also, try to break your bubble and limits, make fat sims, slim sims, non-white or white sims, boys with makeup, girls with chest hair, whatever you want... do it! I listened to the Shrek soundtrack for this sim. It was either Shrek or Tangled and I thought I would have more fun with Shrek. I think this sim is half ogre, half Fairy Godmother.

Day 6- Not My Genre

I listened to an Electronic/Dance playlist for this sim, a genre of which I never choose to listen to. Honestly, dance music makes me feel anxious because I hate waiting for the beat to drop.

THE SIMS X SPOTIFY - CAS CHALLENGE by @scorpioland day 3: daily mixes 1 to 3

his name is mitz daley (like mix daily get it hahaha) and he was kinda of tough!

mix 1 featured mother mother, mitski, and radiohead which i think speaks for itself doesn’t it

mix 2 featured the aquabats!, oasis, and the smiths. i kind of ignored the inclusion of ska music and just gave him a pot belly and the lack of sleep (which is very british man music if you ask me)

mix 3 featured the monkees, rick nelson, and fats domino. kind of threw off the vibe i was going for but i think worked out in the end?
