I spent 3 days in Kandy. The city has an amazing atmosphere but the traffic is crazy so i advise to find a hotel around the lake in the centre. My top 5 things to see and do are; • Take a walk around Bogambara lake, either early morning or sunset 🌅 • Udawattekele sanctuary, which is a jungle park trek behind the temple in the centre of town. Lots of monkeys 🐒 The Temple of the Tooth is stunning, and is a must-see, especially if there is a religious holiday happening like when I was there 🙏🏻Going to an evening ceremony with thousands of people is a fantastic experience 👍🏻 • The Royal Botanical Gardens a huge and beautiful.
