can I make a suggestion for the next SQW? can we vote on themes and prompts FIRST before dates, so we can start working as soon as we know the prompts while date voting is going on? I found last time we had less than 2 weeks before the start of the week, which is personally why I couldn't participate and I know quite a few ppl who also couldn't for that reason

Hello!

The current voting timeline (dates -> theme -> prompts) was made by the original administrator and creator of SWQ. According to her experience, increasing time between the prompt revealing date and SQW is not very productive since most people procrastinate and at the end there’s no as much emotion as it is now.

Plus, in the past we haven’t had many problems with the deadlines, specially since we have one week for late entries. So, you have a bit more than 3 weeks to work.

P.S: theme suggestions can be submitted when we open the period for that, mostly so that the suggestions don’t get lost on out inboxes :)

Makes you see things in perspective.” When her eyes open, there’s an outright challenge in them. “Come join me.” They both know that Regina never will, especially after that insult, and Regina wants nothing more than to set her on fire. She would have, if she’d had access to her magic.

Or: Emma Swan touches grass, and Regina thinks it's ridiculous. On more than one occasion... or is it?

Appraising. “Dance with me,” Regina repeats, the deep timbre of her voice oozing with confidence. “That wasn’t a request.” Or the one where Emma goes back to the past and dances with the Evil Queen at King Midas' ball.

Summary:

Emma has been trying to convince Regina to agree to a Valentine’s Day date with one of the many bachelors in Storybrooke. They’ve been at it all lunch, which is quite frankly putting a huge damper on an otherwise pleasant day.

“I’ve already told you, I don’t want to date any of these men,” Regina replies.

“Okay, so none of the eligible bachelors are good enough for you,” she says slowly, as if puzzling out a complicated equation, “so what about the eligible bachelorettes?”

“No,” Regina says shortly.

“What about–” Emma starts, before Regina cuts her off.

“Why is it so hard for you to believe that I’d rather just be alone right now? I’ve had enough matchmaking and fateful interventions. I’m happy the way I am now,” she says, only allowing a bit of the irritation she feels bleed into her tone.

All her ire fades away when Emma gives her a beseeching look and says, “I just want you to be happy. You’ve been lonely enough in your life.”

In truth, she isn’t against dating right now, but only if the person going on the date is Emma herself.

Suddenly, she has an idea that will appease both of them.

“What if I already have someone I want to date? Will that satisfy you?”
