6-8am Monday morning update Titan has gained 5 grams & I might even believe was happy to see me for breakfast (he must have forgotten that brekky comes w/those nasty antibiotics at first lol) I’m glad to say he’s doing well imo We had a pair of girls come in Sunday and unfortunately the smaller female was struggling to suckle w/a bloody nose and upon examination did have maggots in an ear so everyone was immediately treated with capstar (precaution with other two because I didn’t find any but it’s got me paranoid) after we treated her ear. She’s currently being helped over the bump on her nose with some fluids but we’re hopeful that’s temporary for her The larger female was seemingly ok except for being very dehydrated and hungry. She’s already managed to add 3 grams! Unfortunately she and her sister both had noisy breathing during intake evaluations so both are also on antibiotics (but she does seem to be responding well). Galadriel isn’t up yet but is floating through life as usual lol Arwen has been seizure free for 9 days 🤞🏻🙏 (which is the longest since her first) so we are VERY hopeful that we might finally be on to something that will see her have a fulfilling and enjoyable future Finally I know I have like 15 people who I was talking to about all kinds of stuff: updates and answers to non emergencies like how to get started in rehab are definitely important and I’m sorry to anyone I disappeared mid conversation with, but I will be catching up on everything (barring another emergency) after school today and tomorrow!
