I don't think I've posted many photos of this lovely lady yet... Spunky is the newest addition to the house, still very active so it's hard to get good photos of her still. She's almost entirely blind - we found her on the road with one eye gone and the other on its way out. She can see a little bit however, and enjoys exploring the house for limited durations of time!

Heya Friends! Meet Arthur Fletcher the grandad of V (and the one who raised her and inspired her to become a portraitist/artist). This raccoon loving, pecan pie making, spunky old man lives on the outskirts of Cape May, New Jersey but is originally from somewhere in Georgia (which mean he does have a accent :D). He enjoys hanging out with his best friend Cecil (who lives right across from him an mostly trys to contain his choatic and engertic energy), hanging out with his family, petting an watching over his albino raccoons (Ably and Minty), and drinking excessive amounts of Coca-Cola.

bpd is super cool and fun bc if i am attached to someone and they like someone else more than me, i either:

resent the person i have never met (bc they're better than me)

resent the person i am attached to (bc they don't like me more)

OR

resent myself (for not being good enough)

and it usually happens bc the other person has a fucking romantic interest in the person they "like more". fam i do not even want that with you why am i acting like it's a competition

it also happens with best friends though. like. why does my little pea brain think i need to be the ~best friend~ of everyone i latch onto like a parasitic worm. that's too many people i can't be a best friend every time

and on one memorable occasion, i felt it about a FUCKING CAT, which is all new levels of pathetic (me and the cat became friends though)

A Caturday first!

He never gets in boxes. In fact, when Brat was still with us we had the distinction of having two cats who hated boxes. Spunky, of course, is on board for boxes, bags, you name it. Yesterday she decided this box my new mattress came in was hers. No surprise there. That Buster decided to check it out, and appears to like it is completely unexpected.
