you do have your own room, of course, but you tend to usually stay in your music box; of which you came with when you first entered the digital world... which was a little odd, but hey its not the strangest thing that anyone here has seen! i like to think that sometimes caine comes to your box at night and tries to will you out so he can get to know you more. leave it to the ai to fall for the mysterious circus member who rarely leaves their box... i think sometimes he would hum and sing along to the music your box makes

the first time you rush out of your music box it takes her off guard, almost making her fall off her feet when you dash right by her to do... whatever was required of you at that moment in time. if she were being honest, she didnt think you were a real person, she had always assumed that you were an npc; it wasnt unheard of that caine would have npcs stationed about for in house adventures, or to man the carnival..! though i dont think she would interact much with you, considering you rarely interact with the others; what use would it be to pester you?

JAX:

honestly before realizing you literally live and sleep and mostly exist in the music box, he probably puts stuff on top of your box... accidentally trapping you inside it. well, actually trapping wouldnt be accurate because you ended up brute forcing your way out, literally sending everything that was on top of the box flying; scaring just about everyone in the room. imagine trying to find out whos faster; you or jax.. i mean, have you seen how fast jax bolted when they found out koufmo abstracted?

RAGATHA:

always tries to ask you if you want to join in on the in house adventure, she doesnt want you to feel left out or unwelcome; even though most times you willingly back out of the activity. though, she feels relieved and even smiles when you spring out of your box to join in on the action... at least she knows you havent abstracted... brain stimulation is important, you know!

KINGER:

he finds some comfort in the music, slowly but surely as the days pass he moves his pillow fort closer and closer to your box before eventually hes right next to you. sometimes even naps, leaning against it. though he does immediately scamper off when you suddenly lunge out to race towards whoever is calling for you. at least he can count on you to have his back in moments of danger or fear!

ZOOBLE:

usually stays in their own lane, but for one reason or another they need help during an IHA, and their yelps and incoherent speech was enough to catch your attention. be it gloink or otherwise, you obliterate the problem; effectively haunting zooble for the rest of their life by your actions... but hey, it feels... nice, having someone you can rely on

GANGLE:

character who is soft spoken and shy meets character that rarely leaves their box when its not needed or necessary; how could a relationship, romantic or otherwise, be fostered in conditions such as this? oddly enough, the silence between you two brings you together, the music keeping the silence from becoming overwhelming. i like to think that sometimes gangle leaves you little notes, choosing to write rather than verbally speak... best not to ruin that special quiet the two of you have learned to share

From what I can tell, it's one of many seasonal festivals that celebrates the end of spring and the official/unofficial beginning of the summer season. Lots of different cultures have some version of it, but May Day as we know it stems from a blend of different European regional festivals. Common threads include the gathering of tree boughs, flower garlands, singing, dancing, bonfires, courtship and fertility customs, offerings to various deities or saints associated with the same, parades, feasting, contests of physical prowess (mostly running and swimming races), and carnival-like community gatherings.

On a colloquial note, it's also the subject of a fun and saucy number from the musical "Camelot," and a downright naughty tune entitled "First of May" by Jonathan Coulton.

Flufftober Day 6: Bobbing for Apples

~ While at your neighborhood Halloween carnival, Eijirou enters an apple bobbing competition in hopes of winning you a very special prize. 

The callouses on Eijirou Kirishima’s hand feel like home as the two of you walk hand-in-hand through your neighborhood Halloween carnival. Thanks to last night’s heavy rainstorm, a few fallen leaves stick to the dark pavement. Little kids leave through the crowd, their colorful puffy jackets bundled snuggly around them, making them look like colorful little-legged marshmallows. 

The carnival looks like so much fun. There are rows of booths, rides, and vendors as far as the eye can see. But your boyfriend is trying hard to hide his disappointment. Originally, he had tried to get you two tickets to Pumpkin Land, the coolest Halloween amusement park event ever. But it was so popular and completely sold out of tickets at the beginning of the season. Even with all of his pro-hero connections and agencies standing, he still wasn’t able to get his hands on any.

“Mmmm, I smell Turkey Legs.” The Sturdy Hero hums into your ear playfully. He’s doing his best to just forget about Pumpkin Land, keeping a positive attitude about the whole thing.

“Of course, that’s the first thing you notice.” you giggle, wondering how he was able to smell anything over the overwhelming scent of freshly popped kettle corn from the stall off in the distance.

“What can I say? I love meat.” he grins, flashing you a mouth full of his pointy shark-like teeth. His signature red hair is covered by the black hood of his sweatshirt, and the cold air makes his cheek look a tad pink, but he still looks as handsome as ever. 

“So, what should we do first?” you ask eagerly, looking at the rows of booths and rides. “Food, rides, or games?”

“His blood-red eyes sparkle in excitement as he looks at you. “Hmmm, I think we should start with something sweet.”

“Oh, like funnel cakes?” you say, glancing hungrily at a passing food truck advertising its fall-themed funnel cakes. One is made with a pumpkin spice batter with a caramel drizzle, and the other is shaped to look like a human brain and sprinkled with a strawberry powdered sugar. “That place looks cool. The brain may be a bit unappetizing, but it’s kinda fun since it is so close to Halloween.”

“Those do look pretty epic, but I have something else in mind.” he chuckles, his grip on your hand making it easy to spin you around. You gasp in surprise as you are now chest-to-chest with the Hero. He looks down at you sweetly, his eyes begging for a kiss before the words leave his tongue. “May I?”

“Please.” you smile, his chivalry never failing to make your heart race. That one little word spurred his lips to press to yours tenderly. His embrace momentarily wipes the thoughts of haunted ring tosses and Zombie-brained funnel cakes from your mind.

“Tasty, this was just what I was craving,” he says lowly, pulling away. 

“So, you don’t want to get food anymore?” you tease, tilting your head to the side quizzically. At that moment, a group of teenagers walk past you with arms full of carnival food. The intoxicating smells make Kirishima’s stomach rumble as it wafts under his nose. 

“N-no, I’m still hungry.”

It’s been a few hours of fun. Your bellies are full of greasy, slightly spooky-themed carnival food, and now, thanks to Kiri’s domination at the strongman carnival game, so are your arms. You hold your brand new Jack Skellington Squishmallow closer to your chest as Kiri guides you effortlessly through the crowd of people that only seems to get thicker as you head towards the heart of the carnival. 

You pretend to not notice the spring in his step as he does so. Because in Eijirou’s mind, there is nothing manlier than being there for the person you love.

“That’s weird,” he mutters, his boots coming to a stop on the pavement. “There’s something going on at the stage.”

“Like a concert?” you ask, getting up on your toes to try and see over the evergrowing crowd of people. 

“Maybe, let’s go check it out, stay close. I’ll bulldoze a way to the front,” he says confidently. He would never hurt an innocent civilian, but his years of training as a hero, as well as his sturdy frame, gives him quite the edge when it comes to navigating swarms of people. You nod and link your arm around his much burlier one. His strong muscles make it hard to get the perfect grip, but you know that he would never let you get separated from him. 

When you are ready, he begins to move. His strides are confident as he makes his way past the crowd. On the stage is an old man wearing a tall orange velvet top hat; his hair seems to glow in under the stage lights thanks to some kind of quirk. 

There are Thirty or so large metal Tubs behind him. Event workers are filling each one with water. As the water level gets higher and higher, you start to notice glimmering red dots floating on the surface. 

“What are those red things?” you ask, leaning into Eijirou’s frame. Just as the announcer begins to speak into the mic.

“Apples,” he says in a loud whisper, not wanting to interrupt the man.

“Apples?” you whisper back confusedly, only to be cut off by the squeaking of the microphone. 

“Thank you to everyone who has come out tonight.” the man says cheerfully, speaking into a microphone. “It is now time for our Annual Apple Bobbing Competition; if there is anyone who wishes to compete, please make your way towards the stage.”

“That looks like fun.” you tease, nudging your boyfriend slightly, “Do you want to compete?”

“Nah, bobbing for apples doesn’t sound like my thing.” he shrugs with a smile. “Besides, that water is probably freezing.”

“True, but it would still be fun to watch.” You say as he nods eagerly. Volunteers begin to make their way up to the stage, not minding the cold water.

“And if you are new and apprehensive about joining our competition,” the announcer says. “the winner of this year’s competition will win two VIP tickets to “Pumpkin Land.”

“D-did he just says Pumpkin Land?” Kirishima breathes. Taking an eager step toward the stage. 

“I think he did,” you murmur. “But you just said you didn’t want to get wet.”

“I know what I said, but I gotta win this for us,” he says, puffing out his chest bravely. He rushes up to the stage before you have time to object. And you step up for a closer look. 

“Oh, it looks like we have one more competitor .” The man says, noticing Kirishima taking his place on the stage. How could he not? Your boyfriend is easily head and shoulders taller than the rest of the competition. But everyone knows that size doesn’t quite equate to apple-bobbing ability. 

You watch as Eijirou and the rest of the competitors kneel in front of the buckets and listen to the announcer explain the rules.

The competition will run for two minutes and in that time. Competitors with their hands behind their backs, we’ll have to dump their heads into the bucket of water and pull out as many apples as they can with their mouths. When the time is up, whatever competitor has removed the most apples will win the competition and the tickets.

You notice a few people murmuring in the crowd, 

One person points to Kirishima, who, after removing his sweatshirt, looks much more noticeable. “hey, that red hair, you don’t think that’s…” 

“no, I don’t think so…” another replies. “What would Red Riot be doing here?” 

You want to roll your eyes; heroes have every right to live their lives as normal people do, even if it means entering a stupid apple-bobbing competition. But their voices are drowned out by the sound of the competition starting. 

Right away, your boyfriend punches himself headfirst into the vat of water. He’s fearless. And he is one of the first to emerge with an apple in his mouth. The fruit looks skewered upon his sharp shark-like teeth. Which proves to be a problem. 

He tries to let go of the Apple, but it stays firmly in his mouth. As much as he shakes his head, it does not budge, and he’s falling behind.

“oh no, it looks like we may have an early elimination.” The old announcer says, looking at your boyfriend with concern.

There is a look of determination and your boyfriend’s crimson eyes, and he begins to bite down on the apple, his sharp teeth efficiently cutting it in half, and it drops to the side of the bucket. This new game plan surprises the crowd, and strangely enough, Kirishima, who stares down at the split apple in wonder before diving straight back into the bucket to grab more apples.

He’s unstoppable, and even before the timer sounds, signaling the end of the competition, his bucket is completely emptied. He throws his arms in the air in victory as the other competitors come to a stop. 

“Well, want that amazing, folks?” the announcer declares, racing upwards to try and grab Kirishima’s hand to shake. “Young man, I have been doing this for years, and I have never seen someone bobb quite like ya. Congratulations on winning the competition.” 

Your boyfriend’s smile is blinding as he shakes some water droplets off his hair. “Thank you, sir; it was a pleasure to compete.” His eyes find yours as he receives his winning envelope of tickets. “There is someone very special to me who really deserves these tickets."

"Oh my." the man laughs handing him a towel. "Would this be a date?"

He smiles at you knowingly, "Absolutely."

I would like a season based on a combination of gemstones and popular hobbies like arts, sports, and science. It can have a moral theme of "finding your inner sparkle, your one true talent."

I've always thought that season-based characters (spring, summer, etc.) were really fun, with lots of possibilities as far as power and design go! But it would be harder to have a sixth ranger, and we've just had a 4+1 season, so I'm not too hopeful… I guess I'd like a story around art (like, each of the girl represent a certain form of creativity?) We've had lots of cures who were artist of some kind, but their interests are rarely reflected by their cure powers!

I'm kind of curious, since Toei got pretty original with the colour scheme this year… My guess is, either they'll go for something super conventional like Healin Good or Delipre, or they're going to keep their "unique color scheme" streak.

Similar to ALaMode it can be the standard trio (PBY), followed by a red and purple duo, and later joins a vibrant green.

Hopefully there'll be more than one villain active at the same time, Hirogaru Sky was honestly kind of disappointing in that regard (it does not help that the first villain's debut came with a fart joke).

I'm fine with another pink, yellow and blue Cures, but please, at least try to make them different by using different shades of said colors. There are so many, don't settle for the most basic color palette.

If it doesn't happen, I could always make fancures instead.

I really want a cure who becomes an engineer of some kind in the epilogue. Specifically a girl becoming an engineer

I would love unique flower motifs for each cure. All of the possibilities!

Mythology would also be a fun theme, but the Tropical team had a phoenix and so did Cure Wing, so they would probably try to space that out.

The cures' designs would be based on wild cats and domestic cat breeds: maine coon, norwegian forest cats (e.g cure forrêt), serval, jaguar. There would be a cat goddess (who could possibly also be a precure)!

I think it'd be neat to have the main trio be required to transform together as a call-back to Black/White, Bloom/Egret, Melody/Rhythm, Miracle/Magical, and Macherie/Amour, plus to keep celebrating 20 years of Precure

Random list of elements that (I think) haven't been done that much in a precure season: 1) Have cures be siblings/give a significant role to a cure's sibling. 2) Have characters actually be in a romance! I know precure has a young demographic, so romance isn't exactly important, but it's a bit tiresome how many precure romances tend to be unresolved crushes that are dragged throughout the season! I don't care if it's girl/girl, girl/boy or boy/boy, it would just be nice to see characters confess to each other and have their relationship build from there throughout the story. 3) I know there have been debates on relationships between the cures and the villains, how redeemable the villains are, how much the cures should be concerned about them, etc., but I'd like Toei to play on that dynamic more. Maybe a villain questioning their allegiance, or even turning out to be a mole for the good guys! Or on the opposite side, a cure joining the bad guys willingly, whether misguidedly or to become a mole themselves! 4) Fun stuff with the mascots! The mascots are a family! A mascot is a family member of a cure (don't ask me how that works!) Secretely-a-villain mascot! Mascot who is reluctant in their role and a bit cranky! 5) Families and non-magical friends being a relevant part of the cures' life. To be fair, it has been done several times, but it's always nice to see. 6) Boarding school!

May runs the business side of Momma Dragon’s Babysitting Company and she handles a lot of the scheduling. She doesn’t express her own emotions outwardly very often, but her close friends can read her like a book and she is highly emotionally intelligent when it comes to herself, but can’t read other people for shit. She is clever and the second best strategist out of Firebird’s Crew and the Streetrats.

Brief Backstory: Grew up in Smithsberg, her father abandoned her mother, Maria, before May was born. Maria threw herself into the church and did everything she could to make sure May had a good childhood. She was a young single mother so it was important to her to set May up for a good life. When she was in middle school she got a bit rebellious and her and Rabia entered a bit of an alt-punk phase. This was when Firebird blew into town. At first everyone was hesitant about the new girl but May was assigned to show her around the school and pretty soon they hit it off. May, Rabia, and Firebird soon became close friends and nicknames popped up for them. They got in trouble, and Firebird would go missing for weeks at a time, only to come back with wild stories that seemed to change every time she told them. May was infatuated with the novelty of it all but was also hitting a point where she wanted more pocket money. So, she picked up some babysitting jobs. The other two started helping out, and pretty soon “Firebird’s Crew” were some of the most reliable babysitters in town, helped by the fact that Firebird’s Foster mother, the elderly Miss Trudy, was completely okay with running a daycare out of her home. Things scaled and the business was thriving and well established by the time it was time for May to go to college, which she did part-time to get her business management degree. A good portion of what was supposed to be her college fund went into the business and earned itself back before she could get in trouble for doing something so foolish.  May also had a few partners before the Crew realized their relationship wasn’t exactly platonic.

Levi hugs Kuchel goodbye, pricking with guilt for his mother's tears, but the driver hits the horn, beckoning him.

He was twenty-five when a travel agency add popped on the tv, promising paradise. So, out of an impulse, he scrubbed the dregs of his savings account and booked a round trip to the Caribbean. He packed on his shoulders the basics for summer land, and a bottle of antibacterial gel mellowed with aloe.

Coming from a place that barely sees the light for six months of the year, where the cold gnaws at your bones and you have to toddle around with at least six layers during winter, he did feel like crossing st. peter's gates once he hops off the plane in Port of Spain. Enduring ten hours squeezed between the snores of an old rickety man and the wails of a baby was worth it. At the airport, he hoards all the tourist guide pamphlets he can cram into his pockets and calls Kuchel from the public phone to let her know he’s all right. Then he spends long minutes in the bathroom washing his face and hands.

The soft frizzling on his skin; the breeze tousling his hair. In few days, his skin is flushed with a farmer's tan, and cafe au lait freckles stud his shoulders and nose. But he relishes the energy with which this land sizzles, the babble of different accents and the diversity of its people who anchored on the island from all around the globe. The market pulses with different languages, colors, textures, smells, and flavors, and he spends all morning trying fruits he'd never heard of in his life. He takes more time though, to accustom his taste buds to the spiciness.

He never forgets to send a postcard to his mother every week to let her know her little boy is doing fine. He also mentions at the end of one that he’ll reschedule his return ticket, though he has not selected a date yet. Maybe until spring begins.

One evening, he saunters along the Maracas Bay promenade and wallows in it. The sunset on the beach is like a painting coming to life. The sky is a canvas of orange, pink and purple, blending in a swirl of colors. The sun, a fiery ball, slowly sinking into the horizon. The waves sparkle with golden light, reflecting the sun's rays. The briny breeze strokes his hair and the warm sand smoldering his feet invites him to sit. He takes pictures with his XG-9 Minolta, capturing the world’s beauty through the lens. He zooms and zooms, looking for different angles until he stumbles with a group of girls, dancing and laughing, eating lay's and drinking sprite. One smiles and winks and waves a hand, and a frisson of both panic and exhilaration ripples through every inch of him. His cheeks begin to tingle. He drops the camera on his lap and looks away.

“Hey!”

Levi’s heart bangs like the gallop of a horse in a race. His lips part. His eyes snap, and he gulps before turning around. She is wearing a billowing midi dress, her deep ochre skin glowing with a healthy sheen, lips plumped and moist. A set of golden bracelets clanking with every lithe movement. Her eyes are brown, the type of brown that becomes honey under the light, rimmed with long lashes. Levi stutters a hi, his hands too clammy he can’t let go of the hem of his white t. “My name is [name], and I was wondering if you would go to the carnival with me.” She tries to cajole him with a smile. Her eyes soften, pleading, glinting. Lashes flitting. Levi blinks while his brain tries to connect thoughts and metamorphose them into words. He doesn’t know how that ‘yes’ comes out from his mouth. 

“Great!” She beams and pries a sharpie from her purse. “Where are you staying at? I’ll pick you tomorrow at 10 am.” She holds the cap in her lips and the tip glides smoothly on her palm with Levi’s address. “For whom I ask at the front desk?” And he relaxes his shoulders, “Levi Ackerman.”

He watches her running back to her friends, and from time to time, she steals a quick glance at him.

She takes Levi to the parades and tries to teach him how to dance, how to loosen his hips, but he… just don’t have it in him. A futile attempt. He can’t stop looking at her, the way her body follows the lively rhythms of the music. Whenever their eyes meet, he feels a flush rising in his cheeks. She’s shorter than him, not more than a couple of inches, and that makes them the perfect dancing partners. “Come on, admit you’re having fun.” She quips and he replies with a smirk, “I can’t ruin my reputation as a first-class grump.”

She takes him to the best local restaurants too, introducing him to a kaleidoscope of flavors and he feels guilty to think that Kuchel’s food lacks some spiciness. He loves roti with beef, pastelle and sweet bread. His abs start melting, but he can’t care less; the food is worthy.

Levi’s been bewitched, bespelled, mesmerized, impossible and illogical, yet the only explanation of his desire to stay. He wants to know her, to find any excuse to talk to her, to find out what she thinks of things. Hold her hand and walk by the beach under a starry night sky. They are so different, but she brings a kind of music into his life he’d never heard before. Twinkling bell notes, distinctive and beautiful, descend into a sweet slurring that untangles the twisted, bare wires in his head.

She kisses him of course, Levi is too nervous to take the step, and from that kiss, his mind races from the kiss to touch her more. To pick out the wedding invitations, to build a home and set up a baby crib.

Weeks later he calls Kuchel and drops the bomb, something he’d been postponing, claiming he needed to find the right words, and tells her, fiddling with the telephone cord, “I’m staying, indefinitely.” But when a shocked why comes in from the other side, he panics and pushes the hook.

Levi scores a job at a top accounting firm in the capital. They move together, get married in a small and intimate celebration, and have those little twin brats that can’t stop wailing and giggling and pulling at his hair with their strong grip. Two girls with big almond-shaped gray eyes and golden skin. Though, things didn’t happen in that exact same order. Indeed, when he wired his mother, he was carrying the pregnancy test in his pocket.

muse one accidentally bumps into muse two and spills their drink all over them. what was meant to be a fun time for each of them has gotten off to a terrible start.

muse one and muse two have been targeted by the disco pang pang ride operator, who keeps bouncing them into one another. will any chemistry develop, or just bruises ?

muse one was just about to order some dakgangjeong, but muse two ordered the last batch and now there’s gonna be a ten minute wait.

muse one and muse two are both in a long line for a popular ride and are forced to make conversation to pass the time.

muse one hasn’t been able to win themselves a prize, but muse two swoops in thinking they’re cute, determined to win the prize to gift to muse one.

muse one and muse two came to the carnival separately, but end up spending the whole day together lost in nostalgic bliss after reminiscing about the same ride.

muse one accidentally drops their phone from the lotus swing, but it’s luckily caught safely by the attentive muse two.

muse one and muse two had agreed to meet up at the carnival, but one of them has too much work left to do, so the other forgoes having fun to help them finish up.

muse one and muse two get stuck on top of the ferris wheel during a mechanical issue.

muse one and muse two had an argument in front of customers, and now they’ve both been placed on clean up duty for the carnival as punishment.

muse one is not into the boisterous scene of the spring carnival, but muse two is determined to get them to see the fun side of things and let loose for once.

Added two new levels, The Mountain of Sir Percival and Melancholy Mines, replacing Tower of the Wing Cap and Cavern of the Metal Cap in that order.

Changed up the collect star/death warps in Melancholy Mines to boot you back to the Castle Lobby rather than outside Hazy Maze Cave, unless you fall into the waterfall which just dumps you outside like before.

Updated the collision in Mission Street to make certain things easier to interact with.

Replaced textures in Big's patio to indicate boxes are not breakable.

Gigaboot's Pokemon Adoption Center has now expanded! Several other NPCs have arrived in the city, some additional art in places and two new stores have sprung up as well. Take a look when you can!

Old Levels/Gameplay

(PC Only) Current outfit when grabbing a new star will be saved to the save file. Kind of a coin flip if it saves or not when grabbing a transparent star. Cause of this, old save files are not compatible with the latest version.

Adjusted the speed on the Tails race in Tiny Huge Island to be more fair.

Added secondary starting warps to Dire Dire Docks for Stars 3, 4 and 6 to make getting to the second area much easier. Note you must select the Star in the Act select.

(PC Only) Opening the pyramid top activates an unused cutscene. Didn't program it myself, just apart of the repo. In here to let people know that it'll happen.

There's these things in certain levels. They don't look dangerous but they sure are freaky lookin'.

Princess Secret Slide has the same layout and collision but is now given a visual makeover.

You can now fly off from pole vaulting.

Cream Outfits

Moved switching outfits to the DPad. For the PC version, you may have to rebind it in Pause > [R] Options > Controls.

Added several new Cream outfits, totally up to 64.

Reshuffled the Cream outfits in the N64 version. It's now: Normal, Riders, Winter, Spring, Unicorn, Halloween, Yukata, Swimsuit, Young Vanilla, Amy Rose, Mario, Klonoa and Creamocchia.

The "We did it!" soundclip when grabbing a star is now replaced when wearing certain outfits. Those being: Klonoa, Sena, Kitten, Layla and Katalina.

The Collect Star theme will now change with certain costumes. Those being: Tails, Mario, Klonoa, Ichiban, Travis, Jack, Austin, Dudley, Engineer, Goku, Pan, Roll, Megaman X, Lan, Vergil, Maria, Sora, Dawn, Serena, DQ3 Mage, Wonder-Bun, Sena and every outfit past that.

To follow up on that, the Austin outfit has a unique jingle that'll play when actually grabbing a star or key.

The Mario, Klonoa and Creamocchia outfits in the N64 version also have these themes with the Klonoa outfit keeping the Wahoo!

Music and Sounds

Castle Interior now has a new track: Apotos - Day from Sonic Unleashed.

The following stages and actions also have new tracks since v4: Bob-Omb Battlefield, Whomp's Fortress, Big Boo's Haunt (main and merry-go-round), White Park Carnival, Tiny-Huge Island, Eggman 3 Phase 1 and riding the shell.

Landing the final hit on Eggman 3 will play a proper finale track.

Credits track has also been replaced with its regular version. Midi version still on N64 due to space.

Added new soundbytes for the following NPCs: Layla, Kitten and Katalina

Since v4: The results screen will now play a random clip from 5 different voice samples. All from SF3 Third Strike.

I don't know why I made it this way, they were supposed to be basic descriptions but it's all done! xD I was also planning on giving Diamonds the chariot racing but then I already gave Spades the steam cart race and I didn't want any duplicate events so I went with harpastum. And due to the lack of information on harpastum, I combined it a bit with the ancient Greek game, Episkyros.

To succeed in Diamonds’ event of harpastum, you require agility, speed, and endurance. The aim of the game was to get the ball while in possession over the opponent’s defending line. These teams would face each other in a field divided by a line in the center and another line a set distance behind each team to mark the ends of the field. The team in control would kick or throw the ball between or over the head of their opponents to each other. If you dropped the ball or your opponent intercepted, the other team takes possession and aims to get the ball down the other end of the field. Due to the lack of gear, the game can get pretty violent with players getting a broken limb or other injuries. Players are able to tackle a player from the opposing team to prevent them from retrieving the ball.

Both teams will have 12 players each, 7 playing on the field. People from other regions can make up each team.

Hosted in autumn season

Prizes Winning team members will receive medals, a decorative Harpastum ball. A banquet is held and Diamonds’ theatre members will host a performance.

The Passion Ball is a masquerade hosted by the Monarchs of Hearts. It is a fun event, and can provide an environment for healthy social interaction between people. It’s a great time to renew old friendships and forge new ones. It was originally open to only the rich around Cinderhaven, but has since been open to the entire public. Usually hosted in the winter season.

There are two teams with all participants riding on abraxans. The teams compete against each to score points. Number of points the goal is worth is determined by the rider flying through the floating jewels within the stadium.

- Both teams will have four players each, one being the captain. People from other regions can make up each team.

Steam Cart Race

People from all over Cinderhaven can attend the event to either watch or join the race. Bets can be placed on who the winner racers will be. Usually hosted during the summer

Requirements

- Must be 18 and have a license to drive a steam cart

- Your own steam cart

- Your own team or sponsor

- A reserved driver can take over if the main driver is unavailable

Penalties

- False start

- Blocking another driver upon start

- Using illegal or not approved parts

Bizarro Scavenger Hunt

Since the Jokers Domain is a carnival and amusement park, everyone can already have their own fun with the never ending rides and games! But like the other regions, the Jokers host their own grand event.

In the Bizarro Scavenger Hunt, participants will take part scavenging throughout the region collecting different items and performing different activities or challenges. Be careful of the weather though! It changes for an important reason or by the two Jokers' will.

our characters are just a bunch of guys. just a buncha dudes

we get drunk on ale, enter a pie eating contest, enter a magic talent show, race some dragons (bearded dragons with fake wings on a table track), and then finished it off by getting matching magical tattoos

we decided to commemorate our boyz nite by getting the same design: a piece of beef jerky with a banner that says Jerky Boys (the jerky thing is a story for another time) and then proceeded to enter a fighting tournament and beat the shit out of each other all in good fun

so we got to rock up to a fancy ball hungover, swollen and bruised to shit, with some sick new ink
