We should praise God for everything He does for us, all that He gifts us with, everyone He surrounds us with, and everything!!! We can also share His goodness with others and even do good works in His Name so that even if a non-Christian sees it, there’s the chance that they may develop interest in Christianity seeing your genuine heart and your genuine joy!!

For example, deciding to share the last of your snack with someone or trying to share money or food with homeless people shows you’re loving them as yourself, which not a lot of people do, and someone may be intrigued by this behavior and explore the faith knowing that you are a Christian, or at the very least be influenced to do similar acts to help others!!

La Salle Confers an Honorary Degree on Archbishop of Manila

  Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula was recently honored with an honorary degree by his former school, De La Salle University (DLSU) in Taft Avenue, Manila. In a ceremony held during the DLSU-Manila's 195th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on June 3, the Manila archbishop was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Theology, honoris causa, by the university run by the De La Salle Brothers. During his address to the graduates and students, Cardinal Advincula emphasized the importance of being attentive listeners. He stated, "Much of the world's difficulties can be solved or surpassed if we listen." He urged them to listen not only to God but also to the signs of the times. Coincidentally, the cardinal's episcopal motto is "Audiam," which means "I will listen" in Latin.   The archbishop highlighted the significance of personal encounters, a sense of beauty, and a culture of listening as pathways to holiness and evangelization in our time. He encouraged the Lasallians to become saints and evangelizers in today's world, spreading the joy of the Gospel wherever they go. According to Cardinal Advincula, saints and evangelizers are not confined to those who live in monasteries and convents or wear religious garments. They can be individuals who wear jeans and sneakers, watch movies, hang out with friends, surf the internet, dance, enjoy pizza, and even have a beer. This recognition holds special meaning for Cardinal Advincula as he had previously obtained his Master's degree in Education majoring in Guidance and Counseling from DLSU. The honorary degree bestowed upon him symbolizes his continued commitment to education and his influential role within the Catholic Church. The conferment of the honorary degree upon Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula signifies the university's appreciation for his exemplary contributions to the Church and society. My mom is like a ninja, most people don’t see her. She nurses me and watches from a distance to protect me. If I do cry for help, my mom is there in a second!!! I appreciate your kindness but I don't drink water or eat carrots and apples, just my moms milk. I'm scared and I want my mom who is across the street watching and waiting for everyone to go away and leave me alone. She takes excellent care of me, if people would just give her a chance. Please, before you take me, assuming I’m abandoned, call your local Wildlife facilities, SPCA Wildlife department , Animal Control or your state Fish and game. For Wildlife facilities near you, google wildlife rehabilitation in your city and state!!!
