Kia has decided to retire her winter wardrobe all over my everything

#kiadanta #my cats #ragdoll #cat #the fluff heap in the last picture is what i brushed from her yesterday and today #it seems to be working though!! i can pick her up and only have a 30% opacity fur coating on me afterwards #instead of the 80% it was at the start of yesterday #I'm glad shes receptive to being bribed with treats to be wetted down and brushed extensively for such long sessions #she has a good time with everything except belly brushing #which i have to do much more coaxing for #but with treat bribery i can recall her to the brushing spot pretty much instantly whenever she starts to wander off #and while she doesnt like her coat being sprayed directly she's fine with me cupping water in my hands and wiping it on her #i find it's much much easier to brush her when she's damp #otherwise the fur is all so stupidly fine it just floats away and i cant get much of the loose stuff onto the brush at all. just goes whoosh #summer shedding be like that

Friendly reminder to wash/wipe down any plushies you have occasionally. ESPECIALLY if you sleep with them.

#ghost posts #realized I hadn’t washed my stuffed dog in uhhhh a few years #and he was getting a little…mmm. textured.#turns out tears gives plush fur a similar effect as salt texture spray to hair #but yeah they needed a wash so bad so finally did it after I stitched up the holes #and now they are so fresh and clean I’m so happy #plushies #housekeeping #I have a few that can’t go in the wash so I have to wipe them down with watered down soap and then rinse later

Picture taken earlier today! I was called over to a local construction site after they dug up this cutie, a shiny Bronzor! None of the workers wanted them, so I guess I have a new Pokémon. I'm definitely not complaining!

They were pretty tarnished, as well as being covered in dirt, so I spent awhile cleaning them up. They're nice and clean now, but they're pretty shy. My Bronzong is taking a liking to them though! I'll try to get another picture of the newbie for you guys soon!

bug found its way into my cup. looked real happy and smug about it. this pissed me off and motivated me to prove a point. I made sure it couldn't leave. i put bleach in the cup. now neither of us can be happy. I hope it was worth it you shit bug.

evil summer flat log night 1: mixed up the room my flatmates are staying in. only one is home rn and I thought he had the room whose door has been open all day so wasn’t here rn (I haven’t seen the other one). he is in fact in the room with the closed door and is probably in and trying to sleep while I’ve been wandering around on the phone. likelihood of coming to a kitchen agreement plummeting. send help

#flat situation pretty bleak. nothing I have seen so far bodes well for the next 6 weeks #actually I mean I have not actually heard him like at all. I DID have my headphones in for about 40 minutes #he COULD have come in during that time bc he did go out earlier. but I haven’t heard him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#anyway he puts cling film on all the kitchen counters presumably so he doesn’t have to wipe them down and can just throw away the cling film #cool! you go girl! im not someone who needs a completely shipshape living space but if the bathroom had stayed that fucking nasty for another day i wouldve killed myself i wish to god i got any help with cleaning

day 2 of the move!!!!! my body gave out on me at like 3-4pm yesterday and my 69 year old mother and 78 year old father were fucking supreme for not letting me exert myself and doing all of the cleaning and heavy lifting themselves

#to be fair: my mother was in her element #she has a rigorous weekly cleaning regime and the chance to clean a completely unfurnished room????#my plan was just to like #get the cobwebs out of the window and wipe the skirting boards and hoover #she deadass cleaned the ENTIRE place from top to bottom #and wasn’t satisfied with just having sprays and wipes so she’s bringing her mop + mould and damp spray and actual industrial masks today #it wasn’t even that dirty #me and my dad went back to the house bc we forgot my hoover and by the time we came back she’d also cleaned both the doors #and made friends with one of my neighbours #she’s a legend #thankfully today I should have more energy bc I slept more than 4 hours #and I don’t have to go to head office to do all of the paperwork and get the keys like yesterday #so my goal is: finish packing before they arrive #or at least. start the process of ‘finish packing’ before they arrive skskskksksks #try to get everything over there today #and maybe sleep on my mattress on the floor tonight???????#bed frame is coming on Monday!

Man, idk why, but whenever I get a migraine lately I get the intense urge to shove a pipe cleaner or small bottle brush into my sinuses and scrub out the space between my brain and my skull as if that would fix it, and obviously I know like physically that doesn't make sense but it feels like it would in fact fix it if I could just figure out how to do that
