His strategy for setting and respecting boundaries? Planning ahead and communicating his availability to make sure you feel prioritized and included in his decision making, while still fulfilling his own wants and needs.

Her willingness to draw straightforward boundaries, as well as her willingness to cross them if you’re truly upset, are just another reason to cherish her.

… Shinobu checks in every couple of hours. Sometimes it’s just a single sentence text, other times a quick call, but she knows how important feeling connected is to you. It’s important to her too, of course, but she’s apt to lose track of time when she’s at the hospital or her lab—she enjoys her work—so she puts in conscious effort to be proactive about your anxiety. When she anticipates a busier or longer day, she’ll ask, “Is it okay if I only check in during meals today?” Generally, you’ll reassure her that, “Absolutely, I’m so proud of you,” and if you’re having a low day, then she always figures out a compromise with you before she leaves.

How could I fall in love with someone else when I’m already in love with you?” he snorts, lightly tapping your nose. “That’s not…” you bite at your lip, unsure how to explain yourself. “I’m not big on texting, you know that. It’s not that I specifically dislike texting you.” You smile despite yourself, eyes rolling fondly, “I know it’s not specific to me.” “So then what’s the issue?” he’s determined to understand. “I’m afraid of being alone,” you shrug, gesturing vaguely, “Don’t worry about it. It’s nothing.” Arms crossing, he leans in, forehead bumping yours, voice warm and low on your skin as you gulp, “It’s okay to be afraid of things, and being afraid isn’t nothing.” Arms uncrossing, he settles his hands on your hips, kneading gently as he pulls back slightly, fixing an even gaze on your flushed expression, “I can’t be with you all the time, but I can promise that I love you and think about you.” “All the time?” you ask quietly. It’s his turn to blush, eyes closing as he dips his face into your neck, muttering softly, “All the damn time.”

… Muichiro is a bit absentminded, and rarely thinks to check his phone, but he sets reminders—around noon, and later in the afternoon—to make up for it. If he’s occupied and misses his usual look-at-his-phone time(s), then he’s never bothered by a call from you coming through (besides your number, his phone’s always on Do Not Disturb). In the bathroom? He’ll pick up. About to bite into his lunch? He’ll put it aside. Presenting during a meeting? He’ll literally answer his phone mid sentence, and leave the room (creative liberty: thank gosh he’s the boss hah). He’s aware of his head-in-the-clouds tendencies, just as he’s aware of your anxiety, and feels that having a specific routine is perfectly fair: if he forgets to uphold his end of your expectations, then you’ve every right to remind him. Conversely, if he’s feeling overwhelmed, he’s more than capable of reasserting his own needs — an infinite practice of mutual respect and taking necessary space.

… Giyuu feels uneasy too, but his discomfort stems primarily from how most people tend to socially drain him — you’re one of few that he can feel both stimulated and rested around. Therefore, if it’s a spend-time-with-you versus spend-time-around-others situation, then he’d prefer to be with you. Spend-time-with-you versus spend-time-by-himself situations are more complicated. -Tobias channeling Mary Goore in faith & rats was incredible! Ugh that growl 🥵 Tobias’ dream of doing death metal might not have happened like how he envisioned, but goddamn he can still do it!

-Was not prepared for the amount of laughter this movie gave me! Papa is so extra but my goodness we all were laughing so much.

-I was so so so happy to see Mountain, Cumulus, Cirrus & aurora with a lot of screen time! We don’t get to see our babes so often because they can’t leave their stands (understandably)

-I loved phantoms interactions!! He was so playful and adorable. I’ve always loved his addition to the band since day 1. I miss Chris but I love Randy sm.

-I’m so incredible happy for the people who got to experience this ritual. I’m so happy for you guys from the bottom of my heart! How amazing a ritual.

-if you have ghost you have everything was STUNNING live. That woman’s operatic lines were gorgeous and that song had me bawling my eyes out.

-I personally loved the multi-angle viewpoint myself. It’s a little difficult to keep track because there IS so much to see but that’s why I’ll just rewatch it and rewatch it and rewatch it again!

-it gave me the same feeling as my rituals as last year. I cannot even begin to explain how this band makes me feel. Some how, some way, they just speak to me. The Ghost Face/Danny Johnson

This man has many scars all over his body from his victims trying to defend themselves, but failed. Where he has scars the most is definitely his legs and chest where victims have landed sharp objects deep past his suit, into his skin. I guess his leather suit can’t protect him all the time. He has a giant scar running right through his left eyebrow. Him being the cocky bastard he is, he loves to show it off to his coworkers and make up an insane story for it. The crazy thing is that they actually believe him. 

His gaze can intimidate anyone. He has these stern yellow eyes that will make you shrink into your skin if he glares at you. However, when he gives someone puppy dog eyes, you can’t resist. There’s no way you can say no to those gorgeous yellow eyes. Additionally, I just wanted to say, his eyes make him look cat-like. 😂 

Danny has a very lean body. He has to be strong so he can overpower his victims. However, he isn’t bulky because he also has to be fast and carrying a ton of muscle will slow him down. He definitely works out a lot. I’d say he runs 7-8 miles and hits the gym at least two hours everyday because, let me tell you, he is definitely shredded. (I’m sorry. This headcanon is definitely the runner coming out of me.) 

Danny has short, but fluffy black hair. He makes sure to keep it silky soft so he can easily run his hands through it. Also, to wow the ladies; he knows women love a man with gorgeous, silky hair. Dingus. 

Dude, this man is literally so silent. He can judge which floorboards creak, which doors squeal when opened, what shadows keep him hidden from sight. It’s insane. Literally a god. 

I think we all have gotten a glimpse of how much of an asshole and narcissist he is. He’s extremely mischievous, confident, and thinks he’s the biggest lady-killer. Spoiler alert! He really isn’t no lady-killer: he can’t even get a lady for the life of him. His cheesy pick-up lines and flirting skills are full of crap. He better be glad he has his looks or he’d get himself slapped across the face. 

Danny is a fantastic photographer. He makes sure that any photo he takes is on point. He’s a perfectionist. If he takes a photo, no matter if it’s for work or snapping photos of victims, it has to be perfect or he scratches it out of his camera roll. 

He is a great writer as well. I don’t know why the Roseville Gazette would hire him if he wasn’t. 🤷‍♀️ Anyways, a fucking unit at punctuation. He uses semicolons way too much than he probably should, just like me, and he knows it too. Hey! If it looks good and sounds good then that is all that matters. He’s also a pretty fast typer and always proofreads his writing at least 4 times before turning it in for publishing. He tends to get all his work done before all his coworkers. 

He keeps a journal where he writes important information about his victims: where they live, their daily routines, and stuff like that. He also sketches out what each and every one of his victims looks like next to his notes. 

He’s pretty cold-hearted and has an obsession for fame and recognition. He wants everyone to know who he is and to fear him. He’s addicted to the fear frozen on his victims faces when he calls them and has dozens of pictures of his victims hidden in his nightstand drawer to use for his articles.

Even though he’s a phenomenal journalist, he doesn’t get paid that much so this man literally lives off of ramen. However, he loves himself a nice home cooked meal: anything that takes a long time to cook to be honest. He would cook if he wasn’t so bad at it. 

He loves himself a good bargain; he loves the power they hold over someone. The moment someone breaks their side of the deal, he can break his and they’re over and done with if you know what I mean. 👀

He loves drama. He’ll listen to all the tea and no one will know he’s listening in either. He’ll start spreading it around to all the other coworkers. Now everyone knows the business. That’s why you never whisper shit while Danny is around because he’ll get a hold of that gossip one way or another.

Oh my god!! I laughed so hard at the "karmic backhanding" part.😂😂😂

The thing with Laswell is that she is a neutral entity in all of this. And there is a pure selfish motive of her helping the reader.

But the reader is also not naive, after being in service for so many years she has contacts of her own as well.

Laswell can be a support system, but I feel like she would be more inclined towards 141. And Simon ends back with her? Idk how I feel about that. If I even consider taking the story in that direction, I'm gonna torture him to even be able to exist in the same vicinity as her.

And spoiler alert!!! Reader's gonna work with KorTac. 😁😁😁.

i highly recommend leverage! but of course it depends, what are you mainly looking for in a new tv series?

but as far as leverage goes, i think some of my favourite things about the show are:

really great characters!! an honest man who’s lost his family struggling with morality, alcoholism & the group of criminals he has accidentally adopted/who adopted him lol (who he used to try and track down as part of his job in insurance investigation); the grifter who’s in love w him but has her own problems to sort out, who can pretend to be anyone for a con; an ambitious young hacker who’s the sweetest kindest guy ever & WILL make this group of emotionally stunted thieves into a family, so help him god; an ex-hitman who no longer kills people (and is still the guy who fights ppl but like knocks them out with killing them) and grumbles about everything while also loving to cook & deeply caring about his teams health & safety; an autistic cat burglar who loves stealing and is the worlds best thief, who is learning to trust people after a lifetime of trauma.

an awesome con + heist each episode. they’re always in some kind of Situation. they’re pretending to be wedding planners. they’re robbing a bank that’s already in the process of a robbery. they’re doing a magician show. all while at the same time doing very cool serious thief stuff. all of them are extremely good at what they do.

great character development, they each have their issues to work out, quirks to accept about themselves, things to learn.

very sweet relationships <3 both the romantic relationships & the platonic ones. i once saw it described as "found family speedrun" lol which is very accurate!!

genre is action/heist/crime sorta thing but also has many funny comedy moments. eg the characters who don’t grift attempting to grift and either really overdoing the alias or being very socially awkward.

makes you feel a little better about all the shit happening in the world. like. their clients are regular people who have been wronged by some kind of huge company or or corrupt politician or billionaire or something. and the team always somehow takes down the corrupt/exploitative/shitty person and get compensation & justice for the people who have been wronged.

Cause if it's the latter, then you'll be forever stuck in what ifs and what nots and you'll never be satisfied.

I know feedback is important for everyone writing and it makes our day when we receive comments and the like. But! I'm aware that are there picky readers out there. And that's fine. (As long as they remain respectful, everything cool)

And that's something I learned the bad way. You won't ever be happy if you're writing for people's approval. Cause spoiler alert, you won't and you'll burn out. (I'm aware that my writing won't be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine!)

Do it cause you want to. And don't worry about the numbers as there will be always someone that will like it. Cause If you're doing it for the numbers, you'll be heavily disappointed. Big numbers do not equal quality.

I have done Miguel so out of character, so many times I don't even care anymore jsksk. I just write what I want. And this 'canon police' at least must either work for Sony or partook in Miguel's character creation one way or another for them to be judging or frowning upon OOC content.

None gets a character 100% on point, ever. (Unless you've created them, and even so you'd need inspiration for such thing.) As they evolve, like us. Sure, their default traits is what guide us all into writing them, but that's just a tiny part of the whole picture. Writing is hard. Very hard, but if you're set into improving, then, write.

You think it's not good? Hey! You wrote something! Some don't even do that, ever.

We all start somewhere, (God forbid you guys to see the cringe I used to write at my 14's with the Akatsuki 😂😂) None is born a genius, my dear. You gotta shape it! But you won't if you're afraid. And trust me, being afraid isn't worth it. Embrace the cringe cause it will lead you to the right way eventually ✨

Again, do it cause you want to. Cause you want to indulge yourself. And if people don't like it, they can just scroll past it.

@rwrbficrecs origin story here we go (spoiler alert: it’s not that exciting of a story 😂)

I kinda had one of those days where I didn’t feel like trawling through AO3 and just wanted to read fics off a rec list and I thought I’d go looking for a rwrb rec blog! Imagine my surprise when I couldn’t find one. I thought for sure someone would have started one already 😬

Anyway I was telling my husband about my failed search and I was jokingly like “haha I should make one”. He was like “yeah why not, it’ll be a good project for you.” and I was like “huh maybe I will then 😂”

I brainstormed for a couple of days and we talked about all the spreadsheets and stuff he could do with his coding. He encouraged me some more 😂 and tbh he was right, I did need a project. I haven’t been able to work for the last two years for health reasons and I’d started feeling a bit adrift. It was the perfect thing for me to focus on, and it was nice to be passionate about something again! 

But I was honestly pretty nervous about it. Up until that point I was a lurker in the fandom - I’d been reading rwrb fics for years but I’d spoken to literally nobody in the fandom. I’m a really shy person so I expected to just be quietly making lists and that would be that 😅   

But then everyone was so nice and welcoming?! And then things spiralled from there and I’m just amazed that I went from 100% lurking to running a blog + discord community + making actual friends 🥺🥺🥺 Being able to contribute to the fandom in this way has been so lovely 🥺 Life’s wild and I’m so so glad I decided to create the blog ❤️

tl;dr I was looking for a rec blog, couldn’t find one, husband told me I should make it myself 😂
