Omega Eli who has been the center of cult-like worship since he was a small child. The entire town of Little Boston believes Eli is preternaturally blessed and has special powers. He believes it too. He believes the lord has a plan for him and he is meant to perform miracles in His name.
He is moderately well known around California - a sweet, pretty omega that can heal by laying his hands on you and whispering sweet words. People will come into town and Eli will bless them. Donations from outsiders is really the only thing keeping the town afloat.
When Daniel and his son come to their small town to get the oil underneath their land, Eli is both fascinated and vexed by the big city alpha who seems to enjoy testing the limits of their towns hospitality. He believes Daniel's presence is a test of his faith and his will to guard his purity. A test he is not doing well to win against.
Daniel is fascinated by Eli too, he doesn't believe in his miracles one bit, but after watching a few of his sermons it's hard to deny he has a talent for making people believe that's what he's doing.
He feels a pull to Eli, he imagines that he might just take the omega away with him when he leaves. His own little faith healer, performing miracles to get him rich.

-
[ VOLUME 6: Ch 25 - 28 ]
With Kiro’s help, MC returns to the original world, waking up at Twin Leaves Orphanage
The four love interests retain fragments of their memories from the Winter World. Shaw retains all of his memories
In the half year that MC wasn’t around, a name list of the Evolvers in the original world was disclosed by the STF
The STF takes away all the Evolver children from Twin Leaves Orphanage, claiming that they have to manage Evolvers who are minors
MC tries to use her Evol, but realises that she has lost it
Cyril appears in this world. He has also lost his Evol and is now an ordinary person
STF’s Commander Leto publicly announces the existence of BS, and calls for the arrest of Hades, who had created the flu. At the same time, he expresses that STF already knows the identities of the core members in BS
Lucien manages to produce a vaccine for the flu, resolving the Flu Incident
Lucien sets up the Ultima Bioresearch Centre
Over the past half year, Lucien has been experiencing hallucinations of MC because of how much he missed her. He even decorated his house to look like MC’s
Following the address given to her by Shaw, MC heads to an abandoned warehouse to investigate. She meets Litton and learns that Gavin is currently in a facility meant for evolution, and is part of the first batch of subjects to undergo experiments
To rescue Gavin, MC takes on a fake identity with the assistance of Litton, pretending to be a male and successfully entering the facility
MC and Gavin discover that nobody has survived the pre-experiments, suggesting that Evolvers are unable to withstand the final evolution
Gavin and Litton coordinate, causing an explosion and a power cut in the facility. Gavin and MC seize this opportunity to escape and head to the evolution accelerator. When they reach the base, they realise the accelerator has already been taken away
MC finds a design for an intricate machine part which resembles the black box
Black Queen and Leto are working together
In the Observation Centre, MC hears about a mysterious organisation called “No Man’s Island” which helps Evolvers with nowhere else to turn to
Through a flyer, MC finds the location of “No Man’s Island”. She boards a cargo ship, and discovers that the Boss behind the organisation is Victor
Leto has grown suspicious of Victor’s cargo ship, and often conducts surprise investigations. Fortunately, the Evolvers on the cargo ship leave in time and evade the STF
MC receives Kiro’s text and heads to the amusement park as arranged
On the outside, it appears that the amusement park was blown up by BS. In reality, Leto hid explosives underground
The STF publicly declares that Hades has been dealt with, and Eli volunteers to enter the evolution accelerator
Through intercepting a live broadcast, Helios announces that he will be formally challenging the STF
-
[ VOLUME 7: Ch 29 - 32 ]
“Kiro” suddenly announces that he will be returning from retirement with a concert
MC rushes to BS to look for Kiro. Since Helios is there, it is revealed that “Kiro” is simply Anole disguising himself using Evol. The concert was also organised by Anole
MC learns from Helios that the evolution accelerator had already existed 17 years ago. However, it’s unable to operate without the QUEEN gene. Because MC’s Evol has been obtained, the accelerator is able to function
Anole flees in defeat, and Kiro performs on stage
A kidnapper from Trio-Stars pretends to be a writer from “Entertainment Weekly”, drawing MC away from the concert venue. MC is knocked unconscious and brought away by the kidnappers
From the conversation between the kidnappers, MC discovers that she was mistaken to be a chemist of devo serum (i.e. Black Queen)
Shaw appears and saves MC
As a condition to participate in this matter, MC has to assist Shaw in completing a mysterious transaction in Agio Street. The buyer is willing to pay handsomely for the devo serum and the chemist who formulated it, and the seller is a local gang that had been established in Agio Street for many years - Trio-Stars
Shaw disguises himself as an informant from the Trio-Stars, and MC disguises herself as a drug manufacturer
In a bar in Agio Street, MC bumps into members from the Trio-Stars who are looking for MC. Shaw joins in the scuffle, and the two of them flee
MC ends up at a fortune teller’s, and finds the medium very familiar
The medium is actually Black Queen, and Cyril is there too
To continue the investigation, MC pretends to be an informant for the Trio-Stars and heads to the location for the mysterious transaction. She meets the “buyer” - Victor
The boss of Trio-Stars exposes MC’s disguise. Fortunately, MC and Victor work together and manage to escape
MC learns from Victor that the devo serum might be related to her loss of Evol
In the Ultima Bioresearch Centre, Lucien’s research on the devo serum shows that it is unrelated to MC’s genes. While her genes have a stabilising effect, it doesn’t have the ability to cause Evol devolution
Kidnapping Incident at Twin Leaves Orphanage (Dr Song). Lucien and MC rush to the scene
The head of the orphanage steps out to explain that the missing kids were actually playing hide-and-seek, and they weren’t kidnapped. Dr Song, who has lost her Evol, is taken away by the STF
From the kids, MC learns that “MC” (i.e. Black Queen) had invited the kids to a game of hide-and-seek
MC and Lucien meet Artemis at the bridge, and she forces MC to hand over what Dr Song gave to her. Lucien uses space folding to send MC away
Along the way home, MC bumps into Gavin, who is investigating a murder in Agio Street. The victim is an Evolver, but the autopsy report showed that the victim no longer had Evol
MC and Gavin discover that the victim used to be an equipment caretaker in Loveland High, and they head over to investigate
In Loveland High, there’s a sudden earthquake. MC is responsible for evacuating people who are still in in the building, and meets Eli who is leading the Special Operations Team in a mission to apprehend an Evol criminal. In fact, Eli’s true motive is to find Gavin (and to retrieve the experiment report for the accelerator)
Gavin and Eli engage in a fight. In the end, Eli leaves a weakened Gavin trapped in a classroom. The building collapses, and Gavin manages to push MC outside the building
While searching for Gavin, a second collapse occurs. MC enters a time subway created by Cyril
Gavin manages to escape from the building
Based on MC’s consciousness, Cyril created his final work - the time subway
MC boards the time subway and sees the experiences she shared with the four male leads as the subway travels forward. She also “meets” the four male leads during their younger days
MC starts running in the opposite direction of the subway in order to break free from this cycle. The time subway becomes a gift from MC to Cyril - he has always craved for a perfect world
After leaving the time subway, MC awakes in the hospital and is told that she had fainted along the street. Cyril bids her farewell
At the convenience store, MC meets a youngster who escaped from the Observation Centre. The other escapees are attempting to search for a place which can give them the devo serum. MC claims to be an Evolver who escaped from the Observation Centre, causing the escapees to accept her into the group. She boards a truck with them
MC gets a premonition of the youngster’s future, and realises that her Evol has returned
While on the bridge, the truck meets with an accident. In order to stop another sedan from tumbling into the ocean, a middle-aged man in the truck uses his Evol, revealing his identity as an Evolver
Because of the Evol energy waves, STF captures the escapees, resulting in a brawl between the two sides
One of the Evolvers loses control of his Evol, and accidentally sends a bullet and car flying towards MC
Victor appears and stops time, rescuing MC. However, he collapses because he interfered with the laws of nature
MC reveals the truth of how Evolvers in the Observation Centre were being used as experimental subjects for the evolution accelerator
Gavin leads the NW squad to investigate, and announces that he will take responsibility for everything that happened in the Observation Centre
After locating the evolution accelerator, he sends the coordinates to Helios, who heads over to destroy it
The four male leads meet
-
[ VOLUME 8: Ch 33 - 34 ]
Miracle Finder discloses the truth about STF
Leto invites Evolvers to a party, including MC and the four male leads
MC attends the party with the four leads (split routes), and discovers that the invitees are all influential people in society
At the party, Leto uses a sound wave manipulator to influence the brain waves of Evolvers using music. By controlling these influential people, there will be less objections to Leto’s plans
MC and the four male leads successfully resolve this incident in their split routes. Unfortunately, Leto escapes
Leto’s misdeeds are exposed
Gavin becomes the new Commander of STF
MC receives a text from Shaw, who tells her to bring her father’s notebook to Twin Leaves Orphanage
MC learns from Lucien that the replication Evol he lost was stolen by Leto
Through Shaw, MC learns that Leto used the replication Evol to kidnap the kids in Twin Leaves Orphanage, and also installed explosives in order to threaten the STF. Leto requests to see QUEEN, and MC heads there with Gavin
Under Leto’s request, MC enters the orphanage by herself, but meets Shaw in the dilapidated building, who tells her to look for the kidnapped children first
MC meets Leto in one of the rooms, and he has a black box which can be used to steal Evol. He has copied the Evol from the four male leads, and plans to steal MC’s Evol too
MC tries her best to fight against Leto, but ends up unconscious
Upon waking up, Black Queen and Anole have also appeared in the dilapidated building. They have not only taken away the notebook, but have also ended Leto’s life. The black box is also broken
The kids from the orphanage are rescued by Shaw
Victor and Zero return to the Space and Time Administration to fix his Evol
-
[ VOLUME 9: Ch 35 - 36 ]
With a recent spate of unnatural disasters occurring in Loveland City, a Relief Centre is built to house Evolvers who are discriminated by society and have nowhere else to go
MC chances on Shaw in an alley, who is severely wounded due to an overuse of Evol. She sends him to the hospital
Before he loses consciousness, Shaw returns her the notebook (belonging to her father) that Black Queen took away from her
In the hospital corridor, a youth hands a black card to MC and tells her to head to the address written on it in order to get rid of her Evol
MC learns from Shaw that these black cards were specially made by Black Queen, and they contain Evol which can influence their consciousness. Whoever touches the cards will think that Evolvers are the prime reason for the unnatural disasters, and that only by getting rid of Evol can the disasters be stopped. Shaw’s Evol has also been damaged by Black Queen
MC also learns that Black Queen’s Evol is the ability to cause a deterioration of Evol. The more she deteriorates Evol, the more powerful she becomes
When MC asks Shaw about which side he’s on, Shaw expresses that he is someone who walks among history, and hence does not belong to any side. He simply wants to find the truth, and push for the truth to be discovered
MC and Minor pretend to be siblings and head to the address stated on the card. They bump into Gavin, who is there to investigate
Under the guise of wanting to get rid of their Evol, MC and Gavin search for Black Queen. In the process, they are pulled into a strange dimension behind the North District Waterfall. MC realises that her pretence of being siblings with Minor was discovered early on
Gavin uses his Evol to destroy this strange dimension, and they leave it together
Gavin tells MC that there are many spots in Loveland City where Evol can be removed. Through the strange dimension of the North District Waterfall, Black Queen has been able to create even more of such spots
Lucien takes MC to a space where MC can see where Black Queen is, but not the other way round
MC witnesses Black Queen failing to use her devolution ability. Lucien tells MC that as long as MC’s strength grows, Black Queen’s strength will weaken, and she may even become powerless
The reason why Black Queen still exists is because MC left out one world line while consolidating them. Black Queen is urgently harnessing power to destroy MC in order to bring these two world lines together
There’s a sudden uproar at the Relief Centre, and Lucien uses his new Evol to calm everyone down
Shaw tells MC that Black Queen intends to become the world’s true QUEEN the next day
Victor returns to Loveland City from the Space and Time Administration
During Black Queen’s coronation ceremony, Kiro uses his Evol to command Black Queen to return the strength she stole
Black Queen seizes an opportunity to escape. MC looks for Black Queen and they engage in a final battle
MC falls into Black Queen’s trap, and the latter absorbs a large amount of Evol
Victor suddenly appears. Through turning back time, MC regains the Evol she had lost
With Victor’s help, MC defeats Black Queen
The people who were influenced by the black cards begin to return to normal
Through Black Queen’s memories, MC sees how Black Queen had experienced the deaths of the male leads in other worlds (but these images may have been falsely created by Black Queen to make MC feel fearful about the ending awaiting her)
In Black Cabin, Black Queen closes the world line that belongs to her, and starts to disappear
The STF, Ultima Bioresearch Centre, LFG, the hacker KEY and BS’ leader Helios work together, initiating a “New World Plan” in order to deal with the unnatural disasters and conduct rescue efforts
-
[ VOLUME 10: Ch Ch 7 ]
The X1917 comet cluster will reach earth after a month, and the world will be destroyed
MC discovers that one new page has appeared in her father’s notebook. The ambiguous words tell MC what she can do in the face of the incoming comets as QUEEN
With Shaw’s guidance, MC uses her Evol to look through his Dragonfly Eye, enabling her to read the words hidden in the notebook
At the very last moment, MC will be called to “the other place”
MC spends her final moments with the male leads. She bids them a proper farewell and make a promise to reunite with them in the future (split route)
MC is brought to “the other place”. In the world behind the door, she meets a mysterious person
MC sits on the throne belonging to QUEEN, and wears the QUEEN’s crown. The world begins to shift backwards to 17 years in the past
When MC opens her eyes and pushes the door before her, she enters a narrow corridor. The scent of disinfectant is in the air, and she sees a signboard saying: Research Room.

【恋与制作人】 MLQC: Chapter 35 “The Final Answer” Summary
Translation Masterlist
Summarized Chapters: [to be updated]
Spoiler alert: Please note that all content in this post is content that has not yet been released in the global server.
35-1
Rainstorm, lightning, hurricanes, earthquakes…
An increase in extreme weather and natural disasters resulted in a prophecy that started circulating in the dark –
“Two daughters of the world
One will lead towards the light, one will be corrupted from the dark.
The left hand of the angel wields a sword to puncture through all deception and lies.”
Right now, everyone desires to return to a peaceful life, but the footsteps that have stopped still must go forth, until…
The moment “that” draws near.
--
There’s been an increase in extreme weather and natural disasters for the past month, such that it’s been a long time since the sun has been seen
MC thinks about how Victor has been out of contact for a month
As MC and Kiki wait for Minor to drive up, they witness a tree topple, then a young man uses his Evol to stop it before it hits a kid. The parents of the kid run over to grab their child and look at the Evolver in disgust. Other passersby also say some mean things.
Apparently, similar things (where people disdain of Evolvers) have been frequent
MC sees that the young man is No.93; he expresses surprise that she’s still alive
Minor drives up, so MC offers to send 93 off, but he says he has elsewhere to be and rushes off. MC notices that he’s desperately clutching onto a black card
--
On the car’s TV, the news host says that the increase in abnormal phenomena is proportionate to the increase in Evolvers
MC wonders about Black Queen’s words, “Soon, you will understand that I am the person who will save this world” and what it means
Minor steps on the brakes, seeing someone suddenly appear in front of the car –
MC thought Shaw was unconscious, but he is able to speak weakly and gives something to MC before passing out again
They take him to the hospital
--
STF and LFG delegations are meeting up, including Gavin and Goldman (who is representing Victor)
Lucien walks in with key researchers from Ultima Bioresearch
Helios appears on the room screen, with several people behind him
35-3
MC waits outside the emergency room, confirming what Shaw gave her was the original copy of her dad’s notebook
Suddenly, a young man hands a black card to MC, saying that the address on it will get rid of their Evols and that the card is an indication that they were selected. MC remembers that 93 also had that card
There’s the letter “A” on the card, and MC realizes it’s her other self/Black Queen
The emergency door room opens, and the doctor says that the wounds are dealt with and him falling unconscious is due to Evol overuse
MC asks what happened to him; Shaw says it’s not important, and he got the notebook back because he caused her to lose it
Shaw then says there’s no particular secret to the notebook, and in MC’s hands, it’s just a normal notebook
Shaw notices the black card, says it was made by “her”, and it has an attached Evol that affects those who touch it – this makes people believe that Evolvers are responsible for all disasters and they need to get rid of Evols to end the disasters
Shaw’s Evol has been heavily damaged by her, so can’t touch the card
MC guesses that Black Queen’s Evol is de-evolution of Evols, as Shaw confirms – the more de-evolutions she does, the more power she gets, so MC should stop her ASAP
MC asks about what side he’s on –
Shaw: I study archaeology. Aren’t you curious about why? Those who walk through history have no position. Because those who walk will not stop, we will not stand on any side. The only thing I want to do is discover truth, and then push forward the discovery of truth. The moment that walking stops, this means that this world is headed to the end. Though I’ve always had my doubts, now I can somewhat believe that you just might be able to protect this world.
MC: I definitely will!
35-4
After the hospital, they head to an emergency relief centre for Evolvers with no homes, to drop off supplies
(After Leto’s disappearance, rather than getting better, things got worse between Evolvers and normal people)
The person in charge thanks MC for her efforts in providing supplies and with Miracle Finder, then asks if she knows what the black card that Evolvers have been getting is, and notes that people who got it have been weird
MC advises the person in charge to have them thrown away if anyone gets another one
--
MC and Minor head to the sanatorium noted on the card; the two are planning to sneak in while disguised
A man dressed in grey suddenly walks out from behind a column, startling both, then takes them inside when MC displays the black card. He says that “she” is here today, so they’re pretty lucky, and that “she” is the world’s savior
MC and Minor’s act involves pretending that Minor is a normal guy whose little sister, MC, suddenly got an Evol
The man takes them to the room with lots of people seeking de-evolution, though MC does not find 93 among them
Suddenly, someone addresses MC and Minor
35-6
The person is Gavin, disguised in casualwear and looking dangerously angry
MC says they’re here for de-evolution; Gavin says that he’s doing the same. MC realizes they have the same target after seeing the black card in Gavin’s hand
Someone comes to take MC and Minor, as it’s they’re turn; Gavin says to let him go first, the person suggests for them to come together.
MC says to let Minor stay out (since he’s not an Evolver), hinting at him to escape when possible
--
They’re taken to a dark path where “she” is at the end
When MC asks the person why “she” is helping them, he says that “evolution” is just a complete lie and than everyone will soon know that de-evolution is the only way to get the single opportunity to live. MC feels that he’s already lost all reason
MC and Gavin walk hand-in-hand down the dark path, realizing that this path is much too long for the size of the sanatorium
They finally arrive at a wall, carved with some symbols
With the sound of an explosion, a heatwave surges over, lighting up the whole path; Gavin tackles MC down as the corridor collapses
35-7
After the collapsing, the two confirm if either have injuries
They’re completely blocked off on both ends on the path
MC thinks that it’s because her disguising wasn’t complete enough, attracting their suspicions; Gavin says it’s fine, as he came to confirm something and they’re giving him this chance
Using his phone, Gavin realizes that there’s no signal here and… time has stopped
The two search for any places with special characteristics; MC finds a little path with the sound of water
Down the path, they’re blocked again, and Gavin uses his Evol to break it down – behind this wall is a scene of clear skies and a waterfall, which MC recognizes as the waterfall in the north. Gavin confirms that they’ve been taken into this space, though this time there’s no need to leave it around
MC: Can this place be destroyed?
Gavin: Yes. The STF already has a preliminary grasp on the whereabouts of the person behind this, so this place is already useless. Before we make our moves this time, I will not leave them a single path to back out with.
Using his Evol, Gavin destroys that space and they jump down from there to the waterfall scene, the wind carrying them to the ground
They meet up with an STF squad with Eli there, who says their guess was right, which Gavin proceeds to explain
Gavin: Actually, in the past month, more than one “de-evolution points” have appeared in Loveland. These “de-evolution points” have no connection between them and they’re very far apart. The person behind has appeared simultaneously at multiple places. So we theorized that these “de-evolution points” will use some method to lead these people to one location. And the place that’s most likely to be used for this is this place.
MC wonders, if Evols are bringing disaster and since everyone will die at the end, why does she need to bother with Evol de-evolution?
They suddenly get a citywide warning for everyone to be on high alert; soon after, MC feels an earthquake coming on
35-9
Leaving behind an STF squad, they rush to the city, hearing that there was an earthquake in the neighbouring city and the shockwaves reached Loveland, causing panic and damaged buildings
MC wonders if all this really is due to Evolvers
Gavin: MC, don’t waver in your judgement. Everyone has the right to live. If they feel fear due to the unknown, you can get rid of the unknown. You’ve always helped more people understand Evolvers, starting from the first episode of Miracle Finder… I don’t know what to do, but if there really is doomsday… I will face it with you.
On the road they’re on, the cars suddenly stop and Gavin heads off to check it, as a throng of people attempt to surround the STF
MC starts recording this, and notices that these people are holding the black cards
STF members can only defend from the crowd, as they can’t actively harm them; Gavin ends up forming a wind barrier to barricade off the throng of people
Using his wind, Gavin pulls the black cards away from the people into the air and cuts them into pieces, making the people regain their senses
Gavin: Evolvers will always exist beside everyone. They have had nothing to do with the disasters in the past, and they will have nothing to do with them from now on. No one has the right to deprive others of fair existence, and attacking Evolvers is as despicable as it gets! The disasters are the enemy that everyone should be confronting, not Evolvers.
Gavin gives the command to STF to prepare to set off, then goes to MC and gives her permission to use her footage
Gavin heads off after MC convinces him that there’s no need to send her back, as both realize that they need to deal with Black Queen ASAP to handle the disasters
35-11
MC and her staff are working on reporting how the disasters affected Evolvers at a plaza where citizens were evacuated to
MC is also getting a ton of notifications from the video she took earlier, with comments in approval of Gavin’s words; the clouds have also dispersed, revealing the moon and stars
Lucien calls; when MC asks about if he knows about what happened with Black Queen, he says that he got a few of the cards, did some analysis on them, and got some clues
Lucien has MC look at the brightest star in the sky, then close her eyes and walk according to his directions
She arrives at a place where there’s a deep crevice between tall buildings. Behind her is Lucien
Lucien: Were you afraid that I was tricking you again?
MC: I don’t think you were tricking me. Plus, even if you tricked me over here, I haven’t suffered any damages.
Lucien: You’re right. Do you trust me this much?
MC: Yes. This is the last time I will answer this question. This time, are you going to tell me to not trust you that much?
Lucien: This time, I won’t. In the future, you must continue to trust me.
Lucien then says that he created this crevice, then pushes MC into it; MC seems to see him mouth “Don’t be scared”
35-12
After a fall, MC finds herself in Lucien’s arms, finding themselves in an “unfamiliar yet familiar wilderness”
Following Lucien’s gaze, MC then sees Black Queen sitting in a large room within a crevice at their feet, wearing half a mask
MC wants to escape, but Lucien hints to her that he will explain to her soon
In the room, 93 appears, taking out a black card and looking somewhat vacantly, asking for de-evolution, and Black Queen obliges
Lucien: Do you want to stop this?
MC nods
Lucien: What if he truly does want to de-evolve?
MC: He can make his decision when under no external influences, rather than now.
Lucien: MC, right now I need you to cooperate in verifying something.
Lucien suddenly gets very close to MC, making her heart skip a beat
35-14
A white light comes from MC, and a black whirlpool from Black Queen
MC sees that Black Queen is telling 93 that she’s tired, and he can come tomorrow, and he leaves
Black Queen says that she’s been noticed, and if so, she can’t leave her (presumably MC) for too long, then seems to look at MC in declaration of war
Lucien says that this place is an independent existence, and Black Queen can’t see them
Lucien takes them out of the place, his eyes covering MC’s eyes, and MC is able to see through between his fingers that he pressed his lips to the back of his hand
They return to under the clear starry skies, the crevice gone
Lucien makes a call, saying that “The first test can end now”. When MC asks about this “test” –
Lucien: Do you still remember the space-folding experiment?
MC: But don’t you not have an Evol now?
Lucien: Technology is the best copying power itself. This experiment has been in progress for a long time, and just hasn’t been used before.
MC then expresses concerns about whether Lucien has rested, but Lucien suggests stargazing instead
MC asks if de-evolution is a scam of hers
Lucien: If it’s just de-evolution, then it’s not a scam. But her plan comes entirely from a lie. It’s not to save the world, nor is it to save Evolvers. Because she is your shadow to begin with. The stronger your power, the stronger hers is. Your Evol is “evolution”, while hers is “de-evolution”. After you awakened, changes happened with the relation between you two.
Lucien: So just now, I did a test to prove that this conclusion is correct. Just now, when your Evol was pushed to the peak by emotion, she momentarily lost the power of de-evolution. [This means] Your power can light up this darkness – more accurately, only you can do this. On one worldline, only one of the same person can exist.
MC realizes that the existence of Black Queen comes from all the worldlines being combined into one, except for a single omitted line
Lucien confirms this, but reminds that it is just his guess, that Black Queen aims to get power to destroy MC and join the two worlds together
MC: How will that affect the world right now?
Lucien: Perhaps it will accelerate the collapse of this world, or perhaps it won’t.
MC decides that she will find Black Queen and end everything
Just when Lucien offers to send MC home, they suddenly hear a clamor far away on the plaza and head over to see
35-15
Two groups are fighting with a group of children between; one group is complaining that the kids are Evolvers that will bring trouble; the others, Evolvers themselves, say that there’s no reason for Evolvers to not be there and everyone is trying to avoid the disasters
MC and Lucien realize that it’s the orphanage kids and director
MC sees a vacant-eyed man with a black card coming at her when she tries to use a loudspeaker, and decides to use her light attack to disperse the crowd
Lucien blocks her from the man, and notes that it’s about to rain
The crowd continues fighting as Lucien raises his hand
A light gathers at Lucien’s fingertips, dispersing towards the sky
People gradually regain reason under the rain that’s become light droplets, shaking hands and making peace
Lucien: If this were my true Evol, would you like it? This way, you should be able to have a good dream.
MC: Why do you…
Lucien: Because I felt that you needed it.
Lucien: That was a lie. MC, hold out your hand. I just remembered that I have something to give to you.
Lucien hands a little light ball to MC
Lucien: Now, do you hear what I haven’t said aloud?
> I felt it – a strong colour, sweet and warm, with a faint bitterness. Like an autumn cornfield, like a single rose on barren soil, like a rainbow that occupied the entire sky. Unrestrained, unconcealed, and in my hand right now.
35-17
The camp on the plaza has calmed down
MC flips through her dad’s notebook, remembering what Lucien said before leaving
Lucien: Since she knows that her weakness has been exposed, she will begin the next step in her actions very soon. But we don’t need to be anxious… The biggest connection between you and her is your pasts. Perhaps someone has told you the answer early on.
MC picks up a call from Shaw
Shaw: Just now, her plan changed. Tomorrow, she’s preparing to become this world’s Queen for real. If only one of you can exist in this world, she’s determined to win.

At BS’s old site, Black Queen strokes a grey throne, saying that “It’s time”, looking at a row of 10 people below
Helios: We have already prepared for the coronation of the Black Swan Queen.

'Agents of SHIELD' World's End finale good, not great
Agents of SHIELD Season 4 ended on a very high note with World’s End. The season began with Ghost Rider and ended with Ghost Rider; and as a Ghost Rider fan, the action in this season’s last episode is the best GR action I’ve seen since the first movie. I’d go so far as to say that the action and effects here are better. Well, compare the technology from 2007 to today and the fact that Agents of SHIELD is a TV show, AOS has really delivered. Hopefully, Robbie Reyes continues to show up in Season 5, or this particular episode paves the way for Marvel to greenlight a separate Ghost Rider series. Let’s recap for a bit while reviewing the episode at the same time. First the obligatory warning, SPOILER ALERT!. But if you can’t wait to know what’s happened, and since our livelihoods here depends on your flaming devil-may-care attitudes, please read on. The episode picks up where the last one left off. Robbie Reyes returns in the SHIELD base and takes his car. The scene quickly shifts over to the Zephyr to May and Coulson. This episode, by the way, feels rushed and would have been better off as a two-hour special like what Supernatural’s going to or has done (depending on when you read this). They talk about keeping out of both Aida’s and the US government’s radars. May is still pissed about that bottle of alcohol (Hague is it?). I’ve yet to try Anton’s vodka with onions. Have to find some pure vodka first. We the shift over to Fitz and Jemma discussing on how to kill Aida. Fitz is still guilt-ridden while Jemma is anxious if Fitz is okay with killing the love of his alternative life. Their discussion is cut short when Jemma is alerted to the gradual erasure of the Framework. Yes, the Framework won’t continue as an alternate dimension within the show. Either it’s due to Aida’s anger, or the point of its existence was simply as a vehicle for her become a real person. The end of the framework, however, means the end of any hopes for a good LMD Grant Ward or the return of Tripp. Sorry, Skyward and Tripp fans. Then again, Ward hasn’t been around for a couple of episodes. Maybe it’s been done off-screen? We’ll be doing a lot of speculating later. Now the degradation of the Framework can’t be good for Mack and Yoyo who just entered it in the previous episode. Last we saw Yoyo, she was strapped to a chair after entering the Framework. Radcliffe comes to her rescue thanks to Daisy guiding him from the other side. The road to redemption has been pretty long for this character and quite dramatic. Radcliffe tells Yoyo that it may be too late as he notices the gradual degradation of the Framework. Fitz and Daisy do what they can in the background to delay the process and provide a way for Yoyo to escape. Aida’s own journey with human emotions continues to be unpleasant as she let herself be consumed by anger, rage and regret. She and Anton discuss their plan to remake the world but their discussion is interrupted with the arrival of Robbie Reyes in his flaming 69 Charger. Haven’t seen those flaming wheels since the first episode. Yes, yes. Budget, we know. He really needs his own series. Anyway, he tries to take the Darkhold and fights an Anton LMD and an unidentified one. He kills both and injures Aida in the arm. Robbie notices that Aida has become a real person and she shoots him with lightning, triggering a full transformation. Aida is shocked that her lightning doesn’t hurt the rider and teleports away with the Darkhold. Ghost Rider is furious that she got away. This sequence is perhaps more action-packed than the Ghost Rider fights in the first film. The effects look more realistic too. General Talbot calls Coulson to attend an international intelligence inquiry that wants to investigate the recent events. Coulson says no because of the threat of Aida. Daisy then tells Coulson that Robbie is back. The next scene shifts to Daisy meeting with Robbie. Like we said, this episode is fast-paced. Robbie explains that he’s back because of a tear that Aida created when she created her new body. The same effect when Eli was conjuring carbon spikes out of thin air. The tear was big enough for him to escape. Meanwhile, Aida is puzzled that her healing factor (probably taken from Jia Ying) has no effect on the wound inflicted by Ghost Rider. Anton explains that her body and Ghost Rider come from the same place. Which means, if anyone can stop Aida, it’s Ghost Rider. The other guy with Anton was actually duplicated from a Russian analyst supposed to be in the SHIELD inquiry. He and Anton show up at the inquiry and state their intentions that SHIELD must be brought down and even urge everyone there to read from the Darkhold. Talbot objects but then Daisy Johnson suddenly shows up and shoots Talbot in the head. Luckily, Talbot is still alive and that the Daisy that shot him was one of Aida’s Daisybots. The team shows up shoots the two Russian LMDs. They escape but leave behind the Darkhold. Daisy catches up to her double and meets Aida as well. Robbie however quickly destroys the double, and he and Daisy dispose of the other LMDs. Aida escapes before Robbie can kill her. The team determines that Talbot’s assassination was to be Aida’s ‘Cambridge Incident.' If the security footage leaks to the world, it would become the root of the Framework. Coulson suggests using the Darkhold to bait Aida since she’s afraid they might use it against her. Daisy also suggests that Aida’s terrified of Robbie. Robbie tells Coulson that Ghost Rider is thirsting for Aida’s destruction. Something Coulson keeps in mind. He suggests going back to the base and face their problems head on. He also tells Fitz and Jemma to temporarily get over themselves and work as a team again. It’s strange to think that they used to just be the team pop tarts who would always be in the background last Season 1. If there’s one thing we learned from The Flash, background characters can be made more interesting, but SHIELD does so without having to give them powers. Back at the Framework, Radcliffe becomes Yoyo’s guide and tries to help her win over Mack. He really doesn’t have to but he tries to make up for the damage he has done. At the other SHIELD HQ, things and people also continue to disappear and Radcliffe tries to talk Mack into leaving the framework which he refuses. Mack tries to evacuate the refugees to a safer place on a bus. Elena tries to re-acquaint herself to Mack to make him remember and convince him to leave. Their talk is cut short as everything continues to disappear including the people in the bus leaving Mack, Yoyo, Radcliffe and Hope. Mack decides to take Hope home and wait it out. Back at HQ, Coulson and May scout the area and talk about the bottle Hague and how to proceed with their relationship while Jemma and Fitz are busy keeping the framework intact for Mack and Yoyo. Aida suddenly appears threatening to kill Jemma. At Mack’s house, Hope overhears Yoyo and Radcliffe talk about that everything’s not real including her. Both continue to try convincing Mack to leave the Framework through a doorway Daisy just created, but Mack can’t leave Hope alone. Elena too decides to stay as everything in the house slowly disappears until at last Hope does too. Elena staying and Hope’s disappearance become the most intense emotional moments in this episode. Equal to the previous where Jemma tries to comfort a crying Fitz. SHIELD’s writers are really giving it their all assuming they know the show might not get renewed while others slack into complete disinterest. Back to the story, at SHIELD HQ, Aida confronts Jemma intending to kill her while Fitz tries to talk Aida out of it. But Aida is clearly psychotic. Jemma tries to stab her with a screwdriver, but Aida uses Vijay’s power to turn the tables and stabs Jemma instead. Fitz tries to get Aida to spare Jemma and offers her the Darkhold, but Aida electrocutes Jemma to death, intending to kill everyone in front of Fitz. Aida teleports to Coulson’s location. This scene felt odd as if the writers could do better. Fitz didn’t seem be as emotional as he should, but it turns out that Simmons was an LMD. But still, Fitz could have done better and made this scene more emotional. Simmons’ ‘death’ didn’t shock me as much as it should have but because the writers know it to be false and seem to be telling the viewers the same thing. Don’t worry, Simmons is okay with all the LMDs walking around. True, a smart viewer would have seen through the death immediately. It’s worth a try to shock them just the same. At the portal, Aida shows up in front of Coulson intending to get the Darkhold. She suddenly gets shot from behind by Jemma. But before she can go to kill Jemma, Coulson stops her and surprisingly transforms into Ghost Rider. Yes, it’s a big surprise. Could Robbie actually change his appearance? No, it turns out, Coulson gambled the spirit was desperate enough to get a hold of Aida to move to another body, the same way it did to Mack when it wanted to get to Eli. Aida teleports to various places trying to get Ghost Rider to let go. They end up back in SHIELD HQ where Fitz and Jemma witness how Aida gets burned alive. Unfortunately, this is the part of the episode I was disappointed in. I’ve grown to love Aida but we know she has to go, unfortunately in a very anti-climactic way. The same anti-climactic way the show got rid of Lucy Bower. I wished there was more action but if the Rider lets go, Aida would have teleported away. But there could have been more drama as she could have begged Fitz to help her or told Fitz that she loved him. But her passing really felt like a loss though as you’ll feel sorry for an android who wanted nothing more than to be human. Like if Disney burned Pinocchio after becoming a real boy. But Ms. Mallory Jansen did a great job with what she was given. Fitz didn’t feel all that sorry though as he may have sifted through his emotions faster than expected, except for the guilt. Back at the Zephyr, Yoyo wakes up from the framework having managed to leave at the last minute. It seemed for a moment that Mack would become a casualty, but he wakes up as well. It was also an emotional moment for Daisy seeing them lose Hope and almost losing Mack. We then see Coulson and Robbie discussing Coulson’s deal with Ghost Rider. The spirit returned to Robbie after killing Aida. Aside from Jemma and Robbie, Coulson opts to keep it from the team, though they’ll surely ask how Aida was defeated given that Robbie was with Daisy at the time. Perhaps they know except for the real nature of the deal which we may later see in Season 5. Speculation here, Coulson’s going to start seeing visions soon. As a nature of a season-ender, this episode closes the tension between Yoyo and Mack’s relationship after they discuss Hope, Mack realizes he can still have a future with Elena, perhaps to have a daughter again with her. Robbie says goodbye, hopefully temporarily, taking the Darkhold with him to keep it out of the wrong hands. Robbie surprisingly uses his chain to create a sling portal to another location. They really made a couple of Doctor Strange connections here with the portal and earlier telling Coulson about the never-ending war between dimensions. Before leaving, Robbie tells Coulson that he doesn’t envy him, meaning Coulson’s deal with Ghost Rider could have implications in the future. Mack and Yoyo arrive to tell the others that the government is on its way and that Talbot is still alive. Fitz volunteers to stay behind and explain everything but Daisy convinced him otherwise, that separating one’s self from the team because of guilt wasn’t the answer. Back at the framework, Radcliffe drinks whiskey at the beach regretting that he passed on the chance at being immortal and lamenting the loss of Agnes. It’s quite a shame to lose this character introduced last Season 3. He’s as quirky as he was in The Mummy trilogy but a flare more dramatic in AOS. His performance was great especially in Farewell Cruel World as he took Fitz to the portal sincerely saying that the Framework as it was then, was never his intent as he only wanted everyone in it to be happy. Radcliffe raises his glass and just disappears. In the penultimate scene, the team eats together in a diner. Completely together for the first time. The lights suddenly turn off. The team surrenders to their unknown captors, but they turn on a device similar to the one used in Iron Man 1. The team is then taken away. In the last scene, we see Coulson waking up from a bunk bed, seemingly imprisoned. He gets up and opens a window to reveal that they’re now in space. Overall, the finale is good but not great. It was a little too fast-paced and could be more nicely done as a two-hour special. But it would be tough to cram expensive effects in a two-hour TV show. Robbie wielding his chain while untransformed is clear evidence of working with the budget while those moments with him transformed were awesome.
