SO it's just another generic fantasy AU (because I'm a goddamn sucker for shit like that) but idk I'm pretty proud of what I've gotten so far

There's two kingdoms - Derse and Prospit (obviously), where the King and Queen are the two most powerful magic users in the ruling families (the Strilondes and the Harlegberts respectively), and all male members of the family take the male name, while all female members take the female name (Strider and Lalonde, and Egbert and Harley). Dirk Strider and Roxy Lalonde are the rulers of Derse, while Dave Strider and Rose Lalonde are the heirs to the throne, and Jake Egbert and Jane Harley are the rulers of Prospit, with John Egbert and Jade Harley as the heirs

EXCEPT - Dave isn't actually *meant* to be the heir to the Dersite throne, Jake ran away the day he was meant to become king, changed his name to 'Jake English' and may or may not have become a cult leader (that *might* be trying to resurrect a powerful demon under hope-powered delusion that it'll work out fine), John *really* doesn't want to become King and Jane changed her last name to 'Crocker' to honour the former queen of Prospit, who disappeared suddenly one day (and may or may not have left her a cursed crown). Also, the trolls are only growing more and more suspicious, the distrust between the two kingdoms is only growing, and that whole cult thing is getting pretty concerning
