my sister ordered a calendar for me from the US shop the day they dropped and she never received it; she emailed them and they told her they hadn't received the item from production yet :/ i know most people w issues were having quality issues but have you heard of anyone else having issues getting their items, or is this more likely just a little behind-the-scenes mistake?

when did they tell your sister about not receiving it from the production? (also, i don't think they should have said it to the customer. it's an inside information. interesting.) she ordered it on Nov 16, right? by what day they still didn't have it?

i heard about dnp's merch getting delivered slowly. i know someone who is still waiting for her "return from the dead" shirt. but that's more of a country issue, i guess (still super slow imo). my catboy sweater is stuck somewhere at DPD, more likely still in the UK. although officially it was shipped on Dec 12.

so overall, there are issues with both deadlines and quality. i bet it's always like that. i know there were problems with other launches as well. now just happened that i'm involved in the discussion somehow :)

V - Which character do you relate to most?

Honestly, this left me scrambling for an answer because I can't feel fannish about a character if I relate too much to myself. Like, it's fun to say "this thing blorbo did is so relatable!" but straight-up projection actively puts me off from putting blorbos in situations.

That said. HP book 1 Hermione Granger remains to this day the most #wow she's just like me fictional character I've ever encountered. I brought it up to multiple therapist as a shorthand for what I was like as a kid so they could understand my neuroses.

📚 Do you read your own fic?

I do! Usually it’s older fic that will pop up in my notes or kudos emails and i go back to see what’s goin on with it. i have such a garbage memory that i find fics in my own wips that i don’t remember starting so that’s always fun too. i really do try write more for my own taste, especially lately, which has been so fun !!!!! so rereading my wips and projects is so fun i wish they were finished and i could read them more!

💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

the cas from my fic unexpected consequences is my favorite au cas i’ve written and i’d like to apologize to him for the smut vehicle i put him into. it is a very fanon-leaning fic BUT veterinarian cas who lives above his practice and his only friends are his animal patients and all the little old ladies in town love how gentle he is with their pets and he doesn’t have a car so when he makes house calls for the farms in the area he shows up perfectly on time and having obviously walked there regardless of the weather or distance. he paints all his regular patients on the wall of his practice and his favorite is a chicken named babe the pig. babe the pig the chicken is my favorite oc actually. she wears a harness and walks on a leash.
