Supernatural characterization - Team Monsters

Name: Ranna 

Race: Djinn

Background story: Raised by her father, also a Djinn, Ranna knows well how to find food without leaving a trail. When her father gets sick, though, Ranna becomes somewhat erratic in her hunts and her father is located and killed by hunters because of her carelessness. Having learned her lesson, she now works for the Red Cross, slipping bags of blood into her coat when heads are turned and competing with local vampire nests for food and prey.

Season(s) you are in: Ranna’s father died during the monster spike of S6 (further incapacitated by the hunger and the Alpha’s call) and she’s been hunting by herself since.

Best friend: Ranna used to know a girl named Brigitta, a djinn like herself, but the two lost contact when Ranna’s father began to grow weak. Now, she’s befriended a vampire by the name of Ezra, who she holds in the highest regard she possesses for his kind.

Love interest: Though she would be honoured to call herself Ezra’s girlfriend, he finds himself much too interested in the sexual aspect of such relationships. Ranna,on the other hand, desires nothing of the sort. They fall into an easy friendship/bordering on romance, and they are both quite content.

Nemesis: When her father was killed, Ranna held herself to blame. Through her extended contact with rival vampires, though, Ranna learns the names of the hunters that slaughtered her father: Samuel Campbell and Sam Winchester.

Has a crush on you: Cage, a vampire from Ezra’s nest, has made his feelings known to Ranna a number of times. Despite her insistence on disinterest, the vampire refuses to acknowledge that there are other djinn in the sea.

Guilty pleasure: Ranna finds that, since the tattoos that adorn her body are by nature fickle and changeable, it is intensely amusing to revisit an old tattoo parlour in which she was once inked, with the memorable tattoo changed in some aspect or missing entirely just to see the artist’s surprise.

Weapon: Often, a venomous touch will suffice to defeat hunters and most vampires, but Ranna finds solace in a silver knife and a small, spelled bell that can induce sleep within even the strongest of spirits.

Favorite activity: Though she dabbles in witchcraft through pure curiosity, Ranna truly enjoys her studies of history at a local university. She may have joined simply to be able to better pass as human but she is passionate about the subject.

Background story: Pureblood, every member of his family/pack was killed when he was 5 by a group of hunters. He managed to survive by running away and hiding in his neighbor’s backyard. (he is currently 19)

Best friend: Met Garth while travelling and they became fast friends. A few weeks later, he was introduced as a member of Garth and Bess’ pack.

Love interest: Member of the city they live in, his name is Sebastian

Nemesis: Gordon Walker, he was the hunter who killed his family

Has a crush on you: Michael thinks Sebastian likes him, but he’s not sure

Guilty pleasure: Pulling pranks on Garth

Weapon: As much as he likes his claws, guns are useful sometimes.

Favorite activity: Sleeping (what can he say… after years of running he can finally be a lazy werewolf)

Background story: Raised by her mother and has three sisters named Virginia, Haley, and Jessica. Their mother was killed by a hunter, causing Charlie and her sisters to separate from the main tribe and travel on their own. They’ve decided to be careful about their one night stands, mainly because they don’t want to deal with rapidly growing children and their need to kill their fathers quite yet. Charlie works in a research lab. Virginia is an aspiring artist, Haley is a librarian, and Jessica is the rebellious youngster who hasn’t quite decided what profession she’s going to pick in order to fit in with society. During the period where they were establishing themselves in their new lives, they ran across another small tribe of amazons who live peacefully. One of them, Tori, became fast friends with Charlie and decided to leave with them. They’ve set up shop in Florida, USA.

Season(s) you are in: 7

Best friend: Tori, a fellow Amazon who travels with Charlie and her sisters.

Love interest: One night stands with men who are intellectually intriguing, but she totally has a thing for Kevin because she loves nerds.

Nemesis: An amazon from her original tribe, Kate, who took great pleasure in killing human men that Charlie thought were intellectually stimulating.

Guilty pleasure: Getting drunk and talking about philosophy with the students from the local college.

Background story: Got bitten by the age of 23 in 1824.As a child, Cyrus was tossed around a lot between families. Mostly because he, after getting abandoned by his parents, never liked the foster homes he got placed in. Beaten and abused, he fled from time to time and by the age of 17 he ended up running around the streets of London, stealing bread to survive the day. This led to him learning every alley-way and street corner there were, which made it impossible for lawmen to take him in. 

Season(s) you are in: Since s6 where he first met Sam, soulless version, and he liked him. Has ever since been around, not always in the Winchesters business though, and Sam probably doesn’t even remember him.

Best friend: Old hunting friend, a vampire named Lowe.

Love interest: Marion, love of his life and forever lost since she died in 1924 at the age of 58.

Nemesis: Jody Mills. At least the last time they met. Her being a Winchester-friend and a sheriff, and all.

Has a crush on you: Bela Talbot, until she passed.

Guilty pleasure: Scaring bullies and stealing snacks

Weapon: Is fond of knives, even if they don’t always agree with him. Luckily, he’s learned how to handle them by now.

Favorite activity: Going to the movies and target practice, not always at the same time

Race: Siren

Background story: When you were younger, you’d do exactly what your father always did. Kill for fun, kill for kicks, kill for the rush afterwards. He didn’t tell you about the hunters following you, or about going off on his own to get rid of them and protect you. So it was a little odd when he never returned from picking up dinner.

At first you wanted to kill the Winchesters. You did. They killed your father, the only family (and friend) you had ever known. But after meeting Hades, your perspective changed. He didn’t kill people for fun, like you and your father did. He only killed as many as he needed to survive. You didn’t need to murder innocent people for food, like he does, you did it because you wanted to. But if he can do it, you can too, so now you restrict your own feeding as much as possible. Often you’ll help lure victims to Hades, dose them heavily and tell them exactly what to do. As always they want to help you, they always do, and most don’t mind sticking their neck out a little- er, figuratively speaking?

Season(s) you are in: Season 4

Best friend: Hades, a vampire you ran into a few years ago. The rest of his nest was killed, though he hasn’t ever told you how, but you do know he barely managed to escape. You aren’t generally one for companionship, but he’s just a kid, and you can’t help but feel bad for him, even if he does ask too many questions.

Love interest: Love isn't something you're interested in right now. That could change, of course, but you think they’d have to be a monster, too. You’ve hurt too many people already.

Nemesis: Fortunately you’ve avoided making too many enemies. But it’s kind of unavoidable, even living like you do. Some of the vampires you two have come across aren’t very happy with you for ‘keeping Hades from hunting like a normal vampire’ and don’t care when you point out that he’s perfectly fine, not to mention no older than seven or eight (in looks, anyways). And there’s the Winchesters, who you still hold a good amount of hatred for. You don’t kill for fun anymore (not when you can help it) but if you ever managed to be in a position to snag the Winchesters, you wouldn’t mind having that kill under your belt. You figure they have it coming.

Has a crush on you: Being a siren means everyone you've ever infected was in love with you. You aren't sure you'd like a long-term relationship or even one that lasted longer than a few weeks. Your friendship with Hades is hard enough to keep up.

Guilty pleasure: Okay, you admit it. Murder mysteries are a great mental exercise if you find a well constructed one! Plus you get just a little hint of the pleasure you get from scoring another victim, but really, who's keeping track of that?

Weapon: You are your own weapon. But if you had to choose something else, if you suddenly lost your powers (Eve forbid), you can be very handy with a blade.

Favorite activity: Other than 'work'? You like cool places best, going back to your siren origins near the Aegean Sea, so you enjoy planning out where to go next. You've found that by moving around after every other kill or so you can keep hunters off your trail. (As long as you can keep Hades roped in, that is.)

Background story: Was bitten in the fifteenth century, when he landed in an unknown land, where he was left for death by his companions, who didn’t want to divide rewards for the discovery. Now he wants to kill all descendants of those who abandoned him to his fate. He likes to be alone, but is also very afraid of loneliness and especially oblivion. He doesn’t trust anyone else after he was betrayed.

Season(s) you are in: season 1, he let the winchesters live, saying he wanted to met them again and let them know how was the screaming of the last one of the descendants of those who betrayed him. In fact, all he really wanted was them to remember him.

Best friend: He doesn’t have it. Not anymore.

Love interest: He had a lover named Isabella and she was pregnant when he left. Well, he was abandoned in an unknown place and never saw her again

Guilty pleasure: He looks at the horizon trying not forget Isabella’s voice. Sometimes he think he has already forgotten.

Background story: Abandoned at a young age Nadine lived in the foster system in upstate New York, until she aged out at 18. She was young when she learned of her “abilities” and often performed tricks for the other children. She now travels around the country, however she likes to stop by and visit the old foster home, where she had lived.

Season(s) you are in: Season 6

Best friend: Nadine had become best friends with a shapeshifter named Mason, a year after she turned 18. They traveled around for quite a while before hunters found them out. Nadine was barely able to escape, but Mason wasn’t so lucky. A week later Nadine was able to locate his body and give him a proper funeral. She still blames herself for his death and seeks vengeance on the hunters that killed him.

Love interest: Nadine hasn’t really known anyone as long as she knew Mason. However, there is a barista from her favorite coffee shop in New York who will sit and talk to her until closing time.

Nemesis: Nadine has only held hatred for a few people in her life thus far. That only belongs to the hunters who stole her best friend from her. The Winchesters.

Has a crush on you: When he was alive Mason had a crush on Nadine but never told her. He didn’t want to ruin the friendship they had over something so simple. He showed her the only way he knew how; making sure she survived even if it meant his own demise.

Guilty pleasure: Playing pranks on high/drunk college students

Weapon: Nadine doesn’t really tend to need weapons, but when she does a simple silver knife will do, or a 9mm pistol.

Favorite activity: She loves to make little kids happy. Even if it’s as simple as giving them a little more ice cream.

Race: Spirit

Background story: Lolita bit the dust at age 16. Weren’t the streets supposed to be safe? Lolita was walking home late at night. She had just finished her shift babysitting the Winchesters, staying 2 hours later than usual because Dean begged Lolita to stay so he could beat her at monopoly. Lolita was actually surprised since Dean never asked Lolita to stay, and actually sounded relieved when she would leave to motel, but that night he was bent on beating her. He claimed it was because she was the first sitter that refused to let the Winchester brothers win a board game, so about 5 games later Dean finally beat her fair and square and Lolita was released from the Dean’s shackles. Lolita blamed herself for bouncing so much as she walked home. To spare the gory details, she was kidnapped and sent to a sick sex factory and was left in bits and pieces on the side of the route 66. She began haunting route 66, hitchhiking in male cars, giving them a good time, then hacking them off, bit by bit.

Season(s) you are in: 2

Best friend: Talia, a fellow spirit and rape victim. They didn’t talk to each other during their time alive at the factory, but the afterlife has brought them closer. Sometimes Talia would assist Lolita in killings, and soon she started her own killings  instead of gaping at children who smudged their noses against the car glass.

Love interest: Lolita was seeing a girl named Franchesca, but nothing was ever official.

Nemesis: Dean Winchester. If he didn’t keep Lolita out so late she wouldn’t have gotten kidnapped and raped multiple times.

Has a crush on you: Franchesca, and maybe Dean Winchester.

Guilty pleasure: Praying to Angels, hoping that they would come and save her from the never-ending loop she is trapped in.

Weapon: Felling Axe to hack off the lovely little parts.

Favorite activity: Cutting up men and whistling while she does it.

Your death (not mandatory): Lolita believes it was a Dean Winchester who salt and burned her bones. And it wasn’t a shy little boy she used to babysit. He screwed Lolita over twice; if that was even possible.

Name: Maggie or Mags

Race: Vampire

Background story: Born in the 1800’s Margaret, who now goes by Maggie or more affectionately Mags was walking back to her estate when she was attacked by a group of vampires. With the knowledge and experience she has now she believes they were trying to feed on her and leave her for dead however they were interrupted by another group of vampires who fought them off, killing them all and bringing her back to their nest. Raising her as one of their own until they were all killed while she was off on a hunt by herself, leaving her on her own for the past hundred years or so.

Season(s) you are in: Seasons 3, 6, and 8

Best friend: Growing up she was best friends with a boy named William around her age that lived on her estate as a worker, after she was turned she continued to keep an eye on him, afraid of hurting him if she got to close but feeling the need to protect from the dangers she now knew to be real. But a few years after she was turned she came back from a hunt and found him dead and since then she’s not allowed herself to grow close to others.

Love interest: Even though she promised to never be close with anyone she found herself drawn to a young man over 100 years after she made that promise to herself. She never got to close to him though, for she knew things would end terribly one way or another. His name is Dean Winchester.

Nemesis: A vampire named Albert. He tried to get Maggie to join his clan after she went solo but she refused because he enjoyed attacked humans and would not leave her alone about the fact that she chose to survive off blood banks and even animals when truly desperate. She left after some choice words and ever since then Albert has had a love/hate feeling towards her.

Has a crush on you: Albert a little, and William but she’s done a good job of keeping herself isolated from the general population keeping the crushes to a minimum. Though she hasn’t noticed the interest Dean Winchester has taken to her and her extraordinary hunting skills.

Guilty pleasure: Killing vampires. She views it as kind of immoral since she knows first hand not all of them are bad but she blames them for cursing her to this eternity and so she takes great pleasure in every vampire she manages to kill.

Weapon: Pshh herself. She also carries a silver knife with her at all times.

Favorite activity: She loves going for runs early in the morning when no one else is up and the sun’s just starting to rise, it’s the only time she ever feels at peace. She also loves watching cartoons, that’s one reason she’s glad she got to be alive this long, because life without cartoons would suck.

Your death (not mandatory): Though it hasn’t come yet there’s been many a time she’s felt the urge to just throw herself in front of some hunters and end it all, but then she remembers how much help she is with her powers and chooses to stick around and keep fighting.

Name: Victoria

Race: shapeshifter

Background story: raced by both her mother and father, in a semi-normal environment, until her mother was killed by a hunter when she was 10. She then became as tough as they come, specially when her father and Victoria started moving around a lot; they tried to be as normal as possible and didn’t harm anyone, except for the occasional hunter who crossed their way and tried to kill them. That was until the massive monster hunt of season 6, when Victoria and her father were captured by the Campbells; her father didn’t made it through the questioning about Purgatory’s doors, but she found a way to escape without being caught. After she saw her father’s dead body, she swore to kill the angel who did it, Castiel.

Season(s) you are in: 6/10

Best friend: Roger, a vamp who was captured by Sam Winchester for the same purposes, and was the one who helped Victoria come up with the plan to get out of the place they were keeping them in. Together they’ll find the Winchester and that angel.

Love interest: Crowley, she knows she’s supposed to hate the guy since he took part on the torturing of her father, but he was also the one to give order to not kill them, and set them free; that was until Castiel came around.

Nemesis: Castiel

Has a crush on you: Roger, he knows she only thinks of him as a friend, but he can’t help it.

Guilty pleasure: Watching the occasional chick-flick or a crappy reality TV show.

Weapon: Handgun, Smith & Wesson, .45 8+1 rounds . It was a gift from her father just a couple of weeks before they got captured.

Favorite activity: going out for drinks with Roger, messing around with the humans.

Your death (not mandatory): probably some time during season 10.

Race: Werewolf

Background story: Red can’t remember.

Once upon a time, she thinks she was apart of a pack. A large pack. Maybe they were all family? When she sleeps, she has dreams about them. There’s a lot of them. And in these dreams, she laughs and smiles and loves. She can’t remember what that feels like now, though. It’s been a long time, she can tell. A very long time.

And just as she starts to wake up, she feels her eyes burning as fire floods her vision. The burn scar on her thigh makes sense. The next day, she’s usually forgotten why.

One thing she knows, is her name is Red. Her fur, a burgandy colour, reflects her hair. Once, it was a beautiful, curly, auburn. Now, it’s a tangled mess, matted with bright green leaves.

Season(s) you are in: 3 and 4

Best friend: Herself. Who else is there?

Love interest: When Red dreams, there’s a man. He screams and burns and she feels her skin melting alongside him when he goes up in flames. Maybe he was her mate?

Nemesis: Ruby, the little bitch. Demons are repulsive, especially the ones who try to control the monsters.

Has a crush on you:  Nobody. Who could want the rabid beast?

Guilty pleasure: Lounging around in human form. Sometimes it makes her feel normal.

Weapon: Her teeth. In human form; a small, stained dagger.

Favorite activity: Dreaming. Her dreams may turn into nightmares, but it’s better than nothing.

Your death (not mandatory): Red dies at the hands of Sam Winchester. Well, at the gunpoint of Sam Winchester. Doesn’t matter anyways, does it? Just another werewolf for him to get rid of.

Background story: born a shapeshifter; adopted into a scottish family in america. when her parents realized she was a shifter, they left her out on the street at age 5. after a short time of wandering, she found a group of homeless youth in Carencro, Louisiana. during her time with them, she used her abilities to steal money and food. after living with them for ten years and educating herself, she found work at the diner where she met benny. during the events of citizen fang, she assisted benny in killing martin but stayed behind, keeping in touch, when he went on the run. between the events of southern comfort and citizen fang, garth visited the diner to follow the winchesters’ footsteps and find them again; this was when they met.

Background Story: She’s been on the run since the age of 18 for the murders of 3 men, in which she lured in to get by on what they owned. She’s currently 22 and has been train-hopping ever since she was 15. Clover was in foster care for a while, but her foster parents disowned her due to her trouble making and violent attitude towards authority of all kinds, and most people in general. She’s been trying to settle down in Blackwater Ridge, Colorado, where she’s often seen a man named Zeke (Ezekiel/Gadreel). She’s been trying to pick up a job as a bar tender at the local bar that he shows up to every couple of days. 

Season(s) you are in: Very very end of season 8 and all throughout season 9

Best friend: Benny Lafitte. They both work at the bar and Benny sees Clover as the little sister he never had.

Love interest: Zeke (Ezekiel/Gadreel) Since the first time he walked into that bar, Clover had had her sights set on him. She’d walk over to him, pour him a drink, and talk to him for a while. Sometimes it’d be about how his day went, other times his life and what he wishes to do with it. Settle down, find a beautiful girl to spend the rest of his life with. Benny knew that his little Clover was single and in need of someone she could love, in more of a romantic kind of way. He’d always cover her shifts so that she could talk to Zeke.

Nemisis: Pretty much everyone else on the planet, and from the beginning, Zeke, because she’s got a wall built up around her that she won’t let anyone tear down.

Guilty pleasure: she’s got a thing for jawlines and collarbones

Josh Warner

Race: Vampire

Background story: Bitten when was 15, had to run away from his family and wasn’t sure what to do next. Josh has been alive a vampire for about a hundred years, never knowing when his day would be the last. He stopped crying when taking someone’s life when he completed five months as a vampire, but he always felt like honoring those who died for him to be alive, he always prayed for them when they were dead and most times he tried not to kill anyone. Moved from England to USA when he finally managed to find a way to live without actually killing people, he started feeding off animals and currently lives in a small town, going to school like a normal kid, though he will have to leave that place soon; eventually people will realize he isn’t aging and he will need to move to a town and start as a young boy again, trying to buy himself some time until he needs to relocate again.

Season(s) you are in: 3

Best friend: Jasmin, the ordinary girl who loves to joke about Twilight and laughed for a week when she discovered that that boy in school who always looks sick and runs away when someone gets a papercut is actually a vampire.

Love interest: Jacques, foreign exchange student from France, who is currently studying in his school

Nemesis: There’s another vampire in town: Gabriella (she actually feeds off people, though she doesn’t drink straight from their bodies; she drains their blood off and drinks as much as she can to avoid killing people). She loves to make fun of him and from time to time takes Josh’s animals from his land which leaves a very pissed off Josh to run after her, while she laughs like a maniac.

Has a crush on you: Gabriella

Guilty pleasure: Reading lore and having a knife collection

Weapon: Knives, but he only used them on the first half a century he lived. He used them to kill his preys quickly so that he could feed without them suffering much.

Favorite activity: Watching TV with Jasmin, while she gives her

Best friend: Katerina isn't one for getting attached to people, so no-one is her best friend.

Love interest: no-one... everyone wants her because of what she is, so she gave up on love the minute her boyfriend's heart stopped

Nemesis: Sam Winchester. He tried to off her when he was soulless, but she ran away on the last second

Has a crush on you: Everyone, Katerina is perfect on everyone else's eyes

Guilty pleasure: go out and use her powers to make people attracted to her to buy her clothes at the most expensive shops and drinks in Starbucks
