So many moments in this chapter had me taking a lap for a moment of reflection.

watching spn is wild because every time satan's aunt or something pops up they have to come up with a plan and it's always like. attempt genocide on the angels. open up an ancient portal to the place monsters go when they die. literally just try to kill death. (this one happened more than once with two different incarnations of death) take on the makes-you-want-to-kill-everything curse. absorb thousands of dead souls and turn yourself into a ghost bomb

and every time without fail they're like surely this will have no consequences whatsoever. like no fucking wonder there's been like 8 apocalypses you caused half of them, you guys are batshit insane and youre running purely off of beer adderall and coffee. crowley's the only one who comes up with any logical plans and half the time he's not even on their side. at this point maybe god was right to try and kill you

Maybe this is an icy cold take, but I really think that the British Men of Letters would've had a much better time getting info from the Winchesters if they actually approached them as a friendly organization, instead of immediately resorting to kidnapping and torture. Like, they probably would've been pretty stoked to work with a still-operational Men of Letters chapter, and they'd probably be into the idea of proactively taking out monsters and warding the country.

The writers are basically turning Sam into a Woman in the Refrigerator while Dean is doing his little thing and then has to come to the rescue and it has become increasingly apparent in the past season and now at the start of Season 12 and literally why is your only plot arc for Sam to make him revive his worst traumas and suffering both physically and emotionally and literally nothing else while Dean gets to kiss the girl and a roadtrip with his mum!?!?!?

foot note: I don't hate Dean (bloody hell it wouldn't make sense to hate half of my otp). He's my baby and I want to hug him and take him to a fucking therapist. I'm just getting increasingly upset about the clear disproportion here and I bet I'm not the only one who noticed.
