Now on s1e12 'Faith' and I think I know why I actually grew to like that episode so much. To me it's one of the first episodes Dean's (and by extension Jensen's) deeper emotions and overarching themes really shine through.

Something I did end up asking myself... Did Mrs. Rourke or Layla herself do something to upset Sue Ann before the whole faith healing started? Because they have been there a BUNCH of times, waited for months, and Sue Ann seemed to be stalling on them.

Or maybe it was just so Roy healing her could have that much more effect on their growing flock of believers?

it is with mixed feelings that i must report that x files did in fact do spn s1e12 "faith" better than "faith"

i feel insane . dean and his silly little pop culture knowledge. but. ok listen. in s3e11 dean brings up x-files. in s4e3 he meets his grandpa samuel campbell. played by fucking. mitch pileggi. who. plays. skinner x-files. then in s4e5 dean brings up x-files again. earlier, in 2006, during faith s1e12, we see layla played by julie benz. she also plays rita in dexter starting in . well. also 2006. in s6e8 dean makes a reference to dexter tv show. and also! in s3e12 we see nancy played by aimee garcia. who later plays jamie in dexter (2008 was the spn ep air year, 2011 the dexter ep and then until the initial series' ending) anyways all of this to say do you think dean ever Like. ponders. Or. oh god wait also in s3e5 christopher cousins plays a very prevalent role. he also plays ted beneke breaking bad. dean references breaking bad at least once in s9e2. possibly again in s9e5. i feel insane. anyways this concludes all that

i looked her up because she reminds me of tissea from the witcher (spoiler alert looking her up apparently, i've been [sadly] bored to tears with s3 so i haven't finished it) but she was in coyote ugly! so i did recognize her. ish
