The Green Room is quiet; the rest of the band has yet to come back from dinner, and everything is still.
Squashed on the couch between Rob and Jensen, you linger in a drifting haze of lust and drugs, inhaling hit after hit off of Jensen’s fancy joints. He’d rolled them himself; a fact that he announces every five minutes lest either of you forget how talented he is.
The drugs are strong.
The room alternates pulsing and spinning in your head and things seem fuzzier and funnier the longer you sit there.
“You know what’s ridiculous?” you say, laughing to yourself as Jensen passes the dutchie over your head.
“What’s that?” he asks, nuzzling into the crook of your neck as he exhales.
The smoke swims around your face and you suck in a lingering wisp, coughing as it burns your lungs.
“Is that they didn’t have more sex. I mean- Dean- he used to have a lot of sex, ya know?” You turn to face him, concern tightening your features. “And then it just- stopped. Why’d it stop, Dean? Why?”
Jensen laughs, his head falling back against the sofa. “I wish I knew.”
Rob inhales deeply, joint pinched between two guitar-calloused fingers. “Chuck didn’t want to watch anymore. Too much porn.”
“So much porn!” you laugh. “Oh man- could you imagine you on HBO? Jesus fuck.”
“We wouldn’t have lasted.” Jensen says honestly.
“Are you kidding me?” Getting up and spinning around you sit on your knees on the couch. “Do you know what I’d give to have Dean Winchester buck naked fucking and- hell, saying fuck?”
Jensen bites back a smile and his hand lands on your knee. “You wanna see that?” he asks, tone losing all laughter and taking on an intoxicatingly delicious edge.
Your heart skips too many beats and your mouth waters. “I so do.”
Something in his face turns; his brows furrow, eyes narrow, face seems to drop into place. In an instant, he is Dean Winchester.
“You wanna see me fuck, Sweetheart?” he says, voice dark and graveled just like Dean’s.
Breathless, you stare at him, leaning in without realizing it. “I would watch that on repeat every fucking day all fucking day forever.”
His hand slides up your thigh. “And what if you couldn’t see it?”
A frown turns your lips. “Why not?”
“What if you were the one being fucked?”
Heart in your throat, your stomach flips. “Oh god. Yes. Fuck.”
Jensen’s fingers slide higher and his free hand reaches for you. You lean in and he cups the back of your head as his plump lips graze over yours. His kiss is deep and rich and made for television.
Pulling back, you laugh softly. “You kiss different than Dean,” you tease.
Jensen is back and he smiles. “Who’s better?”
Staring at his shining lips, you grab a fistful of his henley shirt. “Oh, you. For sure.”
Beside you, Rob squirms a bit, turning in his seat to see you head on. He clears his throat but your kiss doesn’t end, Jensen seemingly more enthused when he realizes you’re being watched.
“Uh, guys?”
Finally coming up for air, you turn to find Rob staring, cheeks flooded with a pink blush.
Ideas swim in your head.
“I’m sorry, Chuck. You feeling left out?”
He has no time to answer. Quickly, you lean to the side and peck his lips; Jensen’s hand on your back pushes you over, urging you on.
Rob’s beard tickles your cheeks and he sighs into your mouth, his tongue curious yet timid.
“Mmm you taste like honey,” you moan, nearly falling into his lap.
He blushes again and licks his lips. “I-I just had some tea.”
You smile and grab a handful of salt and pepper hair. “You’re cute.” A lick across his lips closes his eyes and Rob opens up for you, moaning softly as you nibble on his lips. “And so sexy…”
“Yeah?” He melts at your touch, blue eyes wide and watery.
“So much.” You readjust on the sofa, turning fully so that your Jensen has full view and access to your plump ass. “Wish you could just snap those fingers and whip off my clothes…” Rob exhales deeply against your nearing lips. “Slam me up against the wall…” Your hand slides firmly down his chest and he bucks his hips as it approaches. “Fuck me senseless…”
He swallows hard. “That’d be amazing.”
Jensen brings a hand down hard over your ass. “Yeah. It would.”
Your whimper pushes into Rob and he lifts a hand to your cheek, holding you softly as the kiss deepens. He’s more sure now, more excited and hums against your lips as your hand cups his growing dick.
“Fuck…” One hand slides back to tangle in your hair, the other reaches for your tits, plucking at each nipple while you rub him through his jeans. “This is- yeah. Wow.”
“Would be even better,” Jensen says; hand pressing up against your covered pussy. “If she wasn’t so… clothed.”
You lift your lips from Rob’s kiss and look back over your shoulder. “You tryin’ get me naked, Ackles?”
He grins. “You bet.”
“You can just ask,” you tease, leaving Rob and standing up from the couch. “I’ll always do whatever you ask…” Slowly, your shirt leaves your body and you toss it in Jensen’s laughing face. Your pants slide off easily and you step out of them, standing before the boys in your bra and panties.
Rob’s jaw drops and Jensen shimmies in his seat, stretching out his legs and rubbing a hand down his thick thigh.
“What about the rest?” he says, voice darkening as his desire grows.
“Oh, this?” you tease, fingers hooked in the straps of your bra. “You… want me to take it off?”
He bites his lip hard and nods. “Now.”
Two snaps later and your bra falls to the floor. Forearm baring your tits, you lick your lips and enjoy the sight of them both staring and hungry.
Rob moans and presses a hand down over his erection, trying to look cool and failing miserably.
“You boys like?”
He nods quickly, eyes like a vast ocean. “So much.”
Jensen smirks and nudges him in the arm. “You should see the rest. In fact-” Green eyes dig into yours with authority and pride. “Show him.”
Instantly, your arm falls and you peel away your panties, eyes locked on Jensen.
“Perfect…”
Rob sucks in a deep breath. “Wow.”
Your cheeks burn under their gaze. “Thank you.”
Jensen opens his arms and you rush to him, stumbling a bit over your jeans as you go. You fall into his lap and he wraps his hands around you as his tongue dips between your lips.
Locked in his kiss, you reach for Rob with your right hand, grabbing hold of his collar and dragging him over.
You leave Jensen for a split second, giving Rob a wet kiss to keep him occupied.
“Want you both,” you whisper, rolling your hips over Jensen while your fingers sneak down to tease Rob. “Want you both inside of me.”
Jensen cups your tits and pinches hard. “I think that can be arranged. What do you say, Robbie?”
Rob licks at your lips and then sits back, spreading his knees as he reaches for his belt. “Let’s go.”
His zipper slides down and you pounce, leaving Jensen’s lap and falling to your hands and knees. Immediately, you take Rob’s stout cock in your mouth, slowly dragging your tongue across the thick head.
He jerks his hips and moans, his hand landing softly on your head. He follows your rhythm with gentle pulses of his fingers against your scalp and you hum over him, lips vibrating and happy.
Behind you, Jensen makes himself ready. He knocks his jeans down to his ankles, catching them on his boots, and settles in on his knees, hands capturing your ass. He gives you a squeeze and you push back against him, gasping as the tip of his cock nudges your hole.
“Fuck, Jensen, please…”
Rob grunts and pushes your head down onto his cock again; all signs of shyness have permanently vanished. “Keep going,” he growls and you do, taking him in as deep as you can and swallowing hard. “Fuck yes.”
Jensen’s blunt nails dig into your hips as he lines up and scores, sinking his thick cock deep into your dripping cunt. He groans, tips his head back and closes his eyes, savoring the tight clamp of your muscles around him.
When you push back, he starts to move, thrusting hard. Each slam of his hips sends you further down Rob’s cock and your eyes roll back into blackness.
Jensen fits a hand around your waist and rubs hard circles on your clit. Your legs start to shake and you scream around Rob’s delicious shaft.
“Fuck yes. Fuck me hard, Jensen. Fuck.”
The drugs have taken away any care of time or space. Anyone could walk into the room right now and get the show of the century, but you can’t seem to care. Let them hear you gag as Rob spills a hot load down your throat and you scramble to drink it down. Let them see you shake and whimper as you cum on Jensen’s cock. Let them watch as he pulls out and paints your lower back and ass in creamy white.
Let them see.
The Green Room is quiet as the rest of the band returns from dinner. A thick cloud of smoke lingers in the air and Billy swats it away as he walks in.
“What the hell guys, you coulda waited for us.” He breathes deeply and coughs as he takes a seat in the armchair across from Rob.
Borja follows, blinking into the fog and sniffing the air. “Why… does it smell like sex in here?”
Stephen eyes you suspiciously and you shrug, hands up, feigning innocence.
“Jensen rolled the joints! He’s very talented. Everyone tell him how talented he is.” The group watches in amused shock as you bounce up from the sofa and rush to the door, paranoid and giddy. “Have a great show, guys. I’ll be watching. Uh… break all your legs or whatever!”
The seat you leave behind is far from empty and Mike reaches down, retrieving your bra from the cushion.
“Uh, Y/N? I think this is yours.”
Busted, you catch the tossed bit of lingerie and grin as you back away. “Oops? Have fun!”
Rob laughs. “Already did.”

Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing: Chuck x Reader
Fluff
Words: 1685
Notes: This was a request from honestly years ago and I’m such an asshole for only just posting this - I’m so so sorry. I haven’t included the name or request as it was quite personal. You know who you are :) This is of course a soft, fluffy, loving Chuck from before The Twist in Supernatural.
Thanks for reading!
***
Warm water cascaded over your hair and your shoulders, soaking you in a chaotic, relentless stream.
You had long finished your shower but still you stood unmoving in its grasp.
It was cold out there and dark. You held onto the reprieve a little longer.
You gave a heavy sigh.
‘I wish you would show your face,’ you said. ‘I wish... I need...’
you sighed again, shaking your head.
Standing up, you turned off the shower and stepped out.
You grabbed a towel and quickly wrapped it round you, shivering.
Once in your pyjamas you sat heavily on your bed and towelled at your hair. You gave up quickly and curled up on your bed, letting the tears flow. All you could see behind tightly closed lids was his face. Those big blue eyes, both gentle and stern at the same time. Chuck- the god you never knew you needed.
What would he think of you now? You so desperately wanted to see him, but not like this. He would be so disappointed, you thought.
‘I wish I could be what you want me to be,’ you choked out.
You always intended to pray before bed; to check in, pay respects and show you were thankful. Like in the movies, knelt by your bed, peaceful and worthy.
But it never worked out like that. The more you thought about what you wanted to say, the more overwhelmed you became and realised he would never have the time to sit and listen to all of that.
You began to shiver, partly from your damp hair but mostly from the despair that was taking hold of you.
You felt the mattress dip and you gasped. Then you felt a warm hand on your back and his calm took over you.
You looked up into big blue eyes, full of concern.
‘Do you really believe that?’ Said Chuck softly. ‘That I don’t have time for you?’
‘It’s not... I mean... I’m just a giant waste of your time. I’m sorry,’ you cringed.
‘Please,’ He said. ‘Don’t ever apologise for existing.’ Chuck gave your arm a squeeze. ‘And no, you’re not.’
You wiped your eyes and sat up.
‘You have far more important things and I’ve dragged you here.’
‘With all due respect, y/n, you don’t get to tell me how to spend my time.’
You couldn’t look in his eyes long. They broke you. There was so much love that you just couldn’t handle.
Your shame made you wish you were alone again.
‘But you don’t really want me to leave, do you?’ He stated softly.
You continued looking down at the bed.
After an abnormally long silence you gave the smallest shake of your head and sighed.
‘Is there anything you want to talk about?’ He said, hand resting on your back just below your damp hair.
You shrugged and stuttered. ‘I ... there’s...’
So much, you thought. But I can’t even begin to wrap my brain around it.
You knew he could hear you.
You know what, sometimes I’m just so tired of trying to figure this all out or having to figure out what I mean or where I belong. Sometimes I need you to just tell me! Sometimes I need...
‘Sometimes words are hard. I understand.’
You held your forehead in your hands, as if in some desperate attempt to hide your face. The man was infuriating. You wanted to scream at him, but all you could do was huff out a breath. He could feel you shaking by now.
‘But you know sometimes the best way to figure things out and understand your needs is to talk. Even if it seems stupid or redundant to you in this moment.’
‘You’re God,’ you almost whispered. ‘You know everything. It is redundant.’
This is why you were better alone. You drew your knees up to your chest and buried your face in your arms.
‘Look you can just go,’ you mumbled. ‘I’m sorry.’
He obviously knew what you were going through but was choosing not to help and you felt embarrassed you had even thought about bringing him here.
After a long silence you realised his hand had not moved from your back.
‘I’m not going anywhere.’
You lifted your head and chanced a glance sideways at him. Your gaze was met by the brightest blue and a rush of warmth and love flooded you again. You looked away.
‘Ok, here’s a deal. You tell me about one thing that’s on your mind and then no more talking, I promise. Deal?’
You sighed heavily. You spoke as the words formed in your mind, slowly and broken up.
‘I don’t know what I’m doing with my life. I feel like...’ you swallowed the lump In Your throat but it didn’t stop your voice from cracking.
‘I feel like I’m not ... not good enough at anything... like I just...’ your voice dropped to a whisper. ‘Take up space.’
Chuck rested his head against yours and pulled you into him closer with a sigh.
He kissed the top of your head and pulled back, brushing hair from your face. His eyes connected with yours and you felt a weight lift of your chest before he had even spoken.
‘Y/N, you matter so much to me. I created you and I have no regrets. I am proud of you every single day because of how strong you are.’
You looked away. ‘I’m not.’
‘Don’t argue with me,’ he said, his voice firm and authoritative now.
Your head whipped back up, surprised by his tone.
Piercing blue charged right through to your soul when he looked into your eyes now.
‘You are strong,’ he affirmed. ‘Strong doesn’t feel easy. You’re stronger than you know.’
Tears began to spill once more, but this time it felt like freedom. For that moment as he held you, you felt truly safe. Loved.
He continued. ‘It might not be clear now. You feel a little lost, I can see that. Trust me. I’ve got you, and you have so much purpose.’
Your shoulders shook as you cried, and he squeezed you once more. Without speaking, he helped you dry your hair, holding you when you shivered.
‘Can you make it warmer?’ you whispered, teeth chattering. He chuckled, pulling the bedcovers back and helping you into bed.
You lay down, curled up on your side and felt Chuck’s warmth move through you as he lay next to you.
You didn’t need to say anything else. You just lay there, allowing yourself to feel safe and relaxing fully for the first time in maybe years. Chuck stroked your hair and said softly, ‘You haven’t been sleeping too good.’
His hand rested on your forehead and you felt a peace radiate from his palm.
‘Goodnight,’ he whispered as you felt your eyelids close and the calm of sleep envelope you.
**
It was already light when you woke, which hadn’t happened for a very long time. Your cheeks flushed with warmth and you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes. Your mind slowly uncoiled itself and you rolled onto your back to find the bedsheets beside you cold. He was gone. Of course he was gone.
Had he really meant all those things, or was he just trying to get some peace away from your spiralling thoughts?
You breathed in deeply, trying not to let your mind poison the calm you had felt with him and – was that cinnamon you smelled? You sat up. It was definitely cinnamon. Sweet cinnamon, and you could hear music. No, singing. You could hear singing.
Pulling a hoodie on, you stood up and made your way downstairs towards the sound.
And there in your kitchen, pulling something out of the oven and humming to himself, was Chuck.
He turned as you entered and beamed. ‘Right on time,’ he said.
‘Did you make cinnamon buns?’
‘I know how much you love them, but never have the energy to make them.’ He placed the tray down on the heat proof mat on the side. Mixing bowls lay strewn clumsily about the sink. Of all the thoughts you could have had in that moment, you honestly wondered if God was going to wash the dishes.
‘You’ve made a mess,’ you added, nodding in that direction.
Chuck raised an eyebrow and folded his arms across his chest.
‘I mean… Thank you,’ you garbled. ‘I- thank you. I love them.’ You surveyed the kitchen once again.
‘But couldn’t you just, you know…’ you pointed your finger, indicating using his powers.
‘Ah, that’s no fun,’ he shrugged.
Chuck leaned across to the cafetiere you had forgotten you had and pushed the top down.
‘I thought you’d have gone. I was expecting you to be gone when I woke up.’
Chuck smiled again. ‘I’m never really gone, you know,’ he said. He poured coffee into a mug and handed it to you, the heat sharp against your palm. ‘I’m always here. Next time you taste coffee, remember this moment.’
You sipped the strong liquid and savoured the taste.
‘Next time you lie in bed feeling alone, remember me there next to you.’
‘Next time I wash the dishes, I’ll remember when you used my kitchen,’ you said with a smirk.
‘Next time you taste a cinnamon bun’- you cut him off.
‘I get the idea, Chuck. So are those ready to eat, or what?’
He chuckled as he divided them onto plates and guided you over to the kitchen table.
And for the first time in forever, the day ahead was filled with hope and the promise that you were not doing this alone.

Saturday Night Special (Jensen Ackles x Reader)
[Actors-Masterlist]
Summary: Tonight would be your first time singing on stage. And if it were not enough, you wanted to dedicate your song to a special someone. Expressing your feelings was not one of your strengths but putting them into a song? That worked quite well.
Words: 2,339
Warnings: best friend!Rob, fluff, just a cute story with a lot of fluff, so much fluff, language, in this story you wrote “Song On Fire”, (Y/L/N) = your last name
Song used: “Song On Fire” by Nickelback
If you like my work & wanna support me: a coffee would be highly appreciated
Another Convention weekend. Another Saturday. Which meant that the concert would be tonight. And you had asked the Swain boys if they could squeeze you into their set list. Wanting it to be a surprise, you begged them to keep quiet for now. Practicing was done in a room separate from where the others were.
“You wrote that?” Rob asked after you handed each of them a page with the notes & lyrics.
“Yeah?” suddenly, you were unsure. “Is it bad?” now growing concerned that maybe whatever you wrote was absolute crap.
“No, oh my God, not at all. This is perfect.” he was still eyeing the words closely. “We got this, right guys?” turning around to shoot a look at the rest of the band, you saw all of them nodding. Releasing a breath you did not know you were holding, you took a seat next to them & started explaining what you had in mind for your performance.
“So, I thought that you could maybe do some backing vocals, Robbie? I think I’d be less nervous if you did.”
“Of course, no problem.” immediately being on board, the two of you arranged who would sing what. Billy, Mike & Stephen were already onto practicing the notes & from what you had heard so far, it sounded great.
“I hope I won’t mess up.” chuckling quietly, you prayed that tonight would turn out to be fine. Suddenly, Rob’s eyes shot up to yours, shock written all over his features. “What?” you asked him when he did nothing but stare at you.
“This is about Jensen, isn’t it?” he hit the nail right on the head with his assumption. Rob had been one of your closest friends & it was hard to keep something from him. A while ago, he picked up on the fact that you liked Jensen. A lot. Of course he teased the living shit out of you, but he always made sure that he was serious about one thing. That you should tell him how you felt. Every time, you had reasoned that he could never like you back. Besides, you were horrible when it came to talking about your feelings. Obviously, Rob was aware of that. But the lyrics in front of him were proof enough.
“It doesn’t matter.” looking back down to your lap to focus your gaze on something else than Rob’s face.
“Yeah, it does.” he started. “’Cause he’ll realize it’s about him.” stating casually.
“And why is that?” furrowing your eyebrows & snapping your head back up again. The man in front of you simply rolled his eyes at your question.
“I’ve told you a million times that he likes you, too.” before you had time to disagree with him, he kept going. “And Jensen knows about you liking him.”
“Wait. How?” eyes growing wide at Rob’s statement, you believed that someone had spilled the beans to him. Not a lot of people knew about your crush. And if Rob told Jensen, he would not be alive much longer to experience tonight’s concert.
“You’re not really being subtle about it, you know?”
“Am I really that obvious?” sighing loudly, you put your face in your hands. Great, you had been embarrassing yourself for the longest time & nobody had mentioned it to you.
“Only if you pay close attention. Which Jensen does.” Rob’s eyes showed sincerity. Maybe he was right. And if he was not then Jensen would not understand the song. Win-win situation, right?
~at the concert~
The last notes of the song were played & you knew that it was your turn to hop on stage in a second. Nobody of the cast had a clue about you singing tonight. Now, being backstage, your nervousness was awful. Your hands were trembling & you were scared that you would forget the words. What if you embarrassed yourself in front of such a huge audience? Yes, Louden Swain was there to back you up but still. You were the one who had to deliver perfectly.
“Thanks guys. Actually, we have a little surprise tonight. Well, it’s not so little. You guys know that a lot of the cast joins us on stage every now & then. For this concert, we’ll have a debut. Someone who has never sung in front of people before. But we know that you love her a lot. (Y/N) (Y/L/N) everyone!” Rob yelled into the microphone & when he finished, the crowd broke out into cheers. The applause was insane. Nobody knew that you were that much into music.
Taking a deep breath, you started taking the steps to the stage. The curtain opened enough for you to walk through & immediately, you were blinded by the bright lights that illuminated the stage. Yet, your smile was wide. Risking a look to the side, you saw the rest of the cast with shocked faces, all watching you. Jensen was in front & for a second, your eyes locked. In this moment, the cheering of the crowd died down & you remembered who you were doing this for. Him. His smile was enough for you. Billy nudged you slightly & handed you a guitar. Thanking him quietly, you walked over to the microphone Rob had already prepared for you. His nod calmed you down. He knew you would be just fine.
“Um, hi guys. This is weird.” chuckling, the audience soon followed. “Like, I know I’m confident when it comes to panels & all…but standing here, knowing that I’m about to sing. Well, let’s just say I’m a little nervous.” your voice was shaking a little & your fans knew that it was not normal for you. Usually, you were the one to crack a joke, to throw in a sarcastic comment. Right now, though, you were stiff. “Anyway, enough of that crap.” laughing shortly. “Y’all wanna listen to some music, right?” the audience agreed loudly, whistles & cheers could be heard all across the room. “You haven’t heard this song yet. It’s an original, I wrote it not too long ago & I hope you’ll like it. This is called “Song On Fire”.” waiting for Stephen’s sign, you started off the song together. Playing the guitar quietly. And while you shakingly made your way through the first few words, you gathered yourself enough to sing the rest perfectly.
The first words that come out
And I can see this song will be about you
I can’t believe that I can breathe without you
But all I need to do is carry on
The next line I write down
And there’s a tear that falls between the pages
I know that pain’s supposed to heal in stages
But it depends which one I’m standing on
I write lines down, then rip them up
Describing love can’t be this tough
I could set this song on fire, send it up in smoke
I could throw it in the river and watch it sink in slowly
Tie the pages to a plane and send it to the moon
Play it for the world, but it won’t mean much
Unless I sing this song to you
When you sang these words, you made sure to look in Jensen’s direction & again, your eyes locked. This time for a lot longer. It was as if you two were the only ones in this room. Just you & him. Pouring your heart & soul into this one song. Hoping he would realize what you really felt for him.
 I’m dying to show you
This could end happily ever after
There doesn’t ever have to be disaster
And all you have to do is sing along
I write lines down, then rip them up
Impossible describing love
I could set this song on fire, send it up in smoke
I could throw it in the river and watch it sink in slowly
Tie the pages to a plane and send it to the moon
Play it for the world, but it won’t mean much
Unless I sing this song to you
Rob’s & your voice blended together seamlessly & the band managed to make this song sound like it had been one of theirs. Like you had played it together a million times before.
I could set this song on fire
Sing this song to you
I could set this song on fire
Light this old guitar on fire, I’d still hear the notes
Drown the melody in water, I’d still hear its ghost
Sing it with somebody else, but we’d be out of tune
Play it for the world, but it won’t mean much
I could set this song on fire, send it up in smoke
I could throw it in the river and watch it sink in slowly
Tie the pages to a plane and send it to the moon
Play it for the world, but it won’t mean much
Unless I sing this song to you
I could set this song on fire
Unless I sing this song to you
I could set this, I could set this
I want to sing this song to you
I could set this song on fire
Sing this song to you
I could set this, I could set this
The last part, Rob let you sing alone & as you belted out the last words, your eyes closed briefly. Only after hearing the cheers & the clapping did you open them again. Immediately, Rob went over & took you in for a quick hug. Whispering in your ear how proud he was of your performance. That you nailed it.
“Wow, guys. Thank you.” you were overwhelmed by the response of the fans. But your adrenaline washed away when you noticed Jensen no longer watching you from the side of the stage. Still, you had a smile on your face. There was no way you could let the people see that something was wrong.
“That was (Y/N) (Y/L/N) with “Song On Fire”. Let her hear you guys!” Rob urged the audience on & again, the room erupted into loud cheers. Waving before leaving the stage, your smile fell the moment the curtain closed behind you.
“(Y/N)?” there was not even time for you to drown in self pity when a voice yelled for you. Turning around, you were shocked to see Jensen jogging up to you. His hands went to cup your cheeks. Pulling your face closer to his, your eyes closed as his lips pressed softly onto yours. Was this really happening right now? Melting into his touch, you could feel yourself getting lost in the moment. Fireworks were going off inside of you. No matter how many times you had imagined this exact moment, nothing could compare to what you were feeling right this instance. When the two of you needed to pull away for air, you found yourself staring straight into his beautiful eyes.
“God, I hope this song was about me or I just embarrassed myself.” he whispered, afraid that someone else might listen in on your conversation even though you were completely alone backstage. A sheepish smile spread across your face & you interrupted his rambling by kissing him again. If you had known that a song was all it took for the two of you to take that next step then you would have performed on stage way sooner. His hands were at your waist, yours around his neck. Standing close to each other, scared, that you might lose each other. Which would never happen. Not that you finally found to each other.
“I’m sorry.” you started apologizing to which Jensen only furrowed his eyebrows.
“What for?” he had no clue why you felt like you had to say sorry.
“I’m really not good at this entire feelings stuff.” giggling at how stupid you sounded, your eyes shot to the floor.
“I don’t know, that was pretty damn romantic.” he joked & made you laugh with his words. True. Dedicating a song to someone was probably one of the most romantic things one could do.
“Jensen?” your forehead pressed against his chest. Arms tightening around you, he enjoyed having you this close to him. Rob had told him that you liked him & after paying more attention to it, he could see it, too. Yet, he was too much of a coward to do anything about it. Because he got incredibly shy whenever you were around. You could feel him humming so you continued. “I’m actually planning on recording the song. In the studio & all. Jason offered to help me.”
“That’s gre-“ you did not even let him finish because you had another idea in your head.
“And I wanted to ask you to be a part of it.” pulling away slightly to catch his reaction, you were surprised to find a shocked face. “Of course only if you want to. I get it if you don-“
“I’d love to.” his look changed into pure adoration for you. You swore that this man took your breath away by simply looking at you. All of a sudden, Jensen started laughing.
“What?”
“This is gonna be such a cliché story to tell at upcoming Conventions.” he was right. Honestly, it would make a good plot for a movie. Shaking your head at him, you hugged him tighter again. No way in hell would you ever let him go. It took you a lot of courage to take that step & you were more than happy that your plan was successful. You were glad that Louden Swain supported your idea. You thanked Rob for being a great best friend. Finally, Jensen & you had each other. And as much as you loved the idea of it, you were sure that the fans would freak out even more. They had been shipping you for ages. After all, you guys had a connection nobody else shared but everybody else noticed. You guys were bound to end up together from the very beginning.

You were a really good friend of the Supernatural cast, you’ve never acted on the show, but because you were one of Jensen’s best friends, the cast adopted you like one more of the family.  They always count you to be part of every event they had to attend.
Jensen was the only one in the group that knew you were a great singer, even if you’d denied it a million times. Unfortunately, you’ve never been able to perform due to your fear of the public, you’d rather stay in the back, or just help to settle everything on stage.
One day, you were staying at Jensen’s house because he was throwing a little private party for the cast of Supernatural. You were happy that he let you get involved with them. You knew how much they meant for him, and let you be part of that meant a lot to you. You were in the living room playing with one of Jensen’s guitar when he entered -Are you nervous to meet Rob Benedict? — Jensen asked you He knew you admired him, you were a fan of his band and Jensen made sure to bring you to any convention or event he was going to perform. -Kind of — you giggled -He’s a nice guy. Are you going to show him your little video? — He asked intriguingly -Nope — you answered fast — Don’t even think about it — You said and left the living room You’ve been thinking about that video lately.  A few months ago, you filmed yourself playing “Fare Thee Well” on the guitar. After a lot of hard work, and countless hours trying to decipher the chords, you finally managed to get it right, and to celebrate it, you filmed yourself and sent it to Jensen.
Later that night, you were surrounded by the cast, laughing and telling prank stories to Misha and the others. You felt a little uncomfortable being around them because they were a little family with inside jokes and all and you fell off in there. Jensen noticed and quickly changed the subject to integrate you into the conversation. You talked about your life, your job, a little bit of background story of your friendship with Jensen, basically a little bit of everything so they could meet you more. As the late-night was settling, Jensen brought two of his guitars, one he gave to Rob and the other to you -You play? — Rob asked you and you just nodded -She is the best — Jared said and you blushed -Lead the way — Rob said and you smiled Everyone was surprised at how well you played the guitar. Everyone congratulated you and kept teasing Jensen for keeping you hidden. Rob stayed next to you, and both of you kept playing random chords together -How long have you been playing? — Rob asked -Since I remember, my whole life basically. I just learned — you said like it was nothing -You just learned? — Rob sounded surprised -Yeah, my older brother had a guitar. One day I went to his room, I picked it and started to play with my fingers, he found me, he taught me the basics and from then I did it on my own — you explained -Have you seen him playing that you knew the chords? -Nah, I just remembered the sounds -Really? Wow -Hey! Look! — Jensen said -Y/N left Rop speechless — he added and everyone burst to laugh You felt shy, everyone was making a big deal of your skills with the guitar, but for you it was nothing. -By any chance, do you know how to sing? — Rob questioned — I’m planning to release an album with covers, and I would love to have you — he explained -Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately I don’t. — you left the guitar on the chair — It was great meeting you, Rob. I really admire you — you said and left him.  You were heading back to your room when Jensen spotted you -Is everything alright? — he asked you concerned -Yeah, just tired. I’m calling a night — you said with a little smile -Are you sure? — you just nodded — Get some rest. See you in the morning — he kissed your cheek and left you
A few days later, you were still staying at Jensen’s when your phone buzzed
RB: Hey! My offer is still open, please consider it YN: Thanks Rob, but my answer is still the same. Talk with Jensen, he’ll explain. xx
You opened your chat with Jensen and texted him
YN: Why did you give Rob my number? Now, you’ll have to talk with him JA: I gave your number to most of the cast, they want you to be a part of the team officially JA: Ok. I’ll show him your video. JA: Kidding, I’ll talk to him, don’t worry
That day, you went to your room and grabbed the guitar, you put on your headphones and started to imitate “Amazing” from Louden Swain. You were a big fan of them, you loved listening to them at the conventions. Once you got the right chords, you filmed yourself, playing the guitar and singing. When you finished filming it, you sent it to Jensen, like you always did.
*Jensen’s POV*
He was at the SPN set with Jared, and Rob, when he felt his phone buzzing. He saw on the lockscreen that it was a video from you. A smile appeared on his face. He unlocked it and opened the chat with you. Just with the image preview, he knew what it was, before pressing play, he checked the volume was loud enough for them to hear you. The video started, you were with your eyes closed, like in every other video he has from you, it was like you were letting the music get into you. You started to sing and he felt full, he loved hearing you sing, you brought calmness to his senses. As soon as they heard a sound, Jared and Rob stayed in silence listening, they thought you were on a call. Jared smiled in an instant when he recognized your voice, he knew what Jensen was doing. Rob recognized his song and kept listening -Such a great voice — Rob mentioned When the video finished, Jensen sent her a quick text
JA: You are awesome. Love it. One of my favourites YN: All of them are your favorites. Love you JA: May I? Please, but I will tell him that you don’t sing in public, so he doesn’t push YN: Yes. Only if you promised he won’t get insisted. JA: Thanks! I promise! Love you more
-Who was that? — Rob asked -Y/N -No way, she said… -She says that because she doesn’t like to sing in public. Don’t push her to make her sing. -Do you have more? I won’t I promise — Rob said sincerely Jensen showed him a few more videos before they had to film again.
*Y/N’s POV*
You knew that Jensen was going to show Rob the last video you sent him, so you decided to send Rob one more. You sent the “Fare Thee Well” video, you knew that song by heart and you were aware it was one of his favorites. Sometime later you got a text
RB: Such an amazing voice YN: Thanks. And thank you for understanding RB: I do, but that doesn’t mean that we are going to have a private session YN: Oh boy RB: Please YN: I know I’ll regret it, but fine,  RB: :)
You couldn’t believe it, you were going to have a private session with Rob Benedict. You were daydreaming. You opened your chat with Jensen and sent him a quick text because you knew he was filming.
YN: You are awesome YN: Thank you :D

“Okay Y/N, truth or dare,” Richard asked, staggering into your circle of friends in his living room with an open bottle of Crown, and a bag of popcorn, flopping down with an exaggerated grown next to Jared, who chuckled at the thought of what he was gonna do to Richard when he passed out first as usual.
“Dare, pick dare,” Misha drunkenly whispers yells, elbowing you annoyingly.
“Okay, okay dare,” you growl, swatting at Misha, who promptly falls off of the cushion he was only half balanced on, causing Jensen to snort out a laugh into his own red solo cup.
“YAS QUEEN!” Richard yells, slapping his hands together, and giving you a mischievous grin that seriously made you a little uneasy.
Richard had flown Jensen, Misha, Rob, Jared, Briana, Kim, and yourself to his house as soon as the quarantine was lifted in order to have a friend’s get together/Christmas celebration now that people were safely able to be in the same room with each other again. Richard’s parties were always a promise of two things, a good time you all hoped no one would remember in the morning, and a damn horrible hangover the next day.
“Okay, okay, you have to go in that room back there where Rob is having a pity party for himself, don’t say shit, just drop down on your knees in front of him, and suck him off,” Richard slurs.
Misha pops up off the floor like a gopher out of his hole, and Jensen nearly chokes to death on his drink, while the others laugh at their reactions. Briana slaps Jensen hard on the back as he sputters, and Richard keeps locked eyes with your completely shocked face.
“Can’t I just go flash him or something?” you whisper to the circle in front of you.
Richard shakes his head and crosses his arms over his chest. “Nope, you either go in there and blow him, or you have to tell us what happened between you and Sebastian at Comic Con last year.”
Your ears burned and you knew you were blushing. The whole circle seemed to perk up at that little bit of information. You had told Richard about that little hookup in confidentiality, but apparently, alcohol brings forth loose lips from your extremely drunk friend.
You weren’t about to throw Sebastian under the bus like that. Plus you don’t know if he wanted it out that he’d fucked Jensen’s PA at Comic Con.
“Fine, fine,” you grumble, getting off of the floor with a huff.
“Well, next time I’ma go sulk in a back room over my ex, then maybe I can’t…” Jensen started, but before he could finish Briana elbowed him hard in the side, “Ouch!”
You chose to ignore his comment and tried to calm your nerves, crossing the floor to the bedroom door. An eerie silence had fallen over the room behind you, and you knew everyone was watching.
“Remember Y/N, not a word, just do it,” Richard said.
Man, you hopped he didn’t freak out on you. Rob had been friends with you ever since you started working for Jensen as his PA when he took on a new role with the boys, as well as his new production company. It was a big workload, and he needed the backup. It was the best decision you had ever made. It opened up a lot of doors for you that you never thought you would have opened, but it also gave you friends you would cherish for a lifetime.
Opening the door to the room you see Rob sitting on the edge of the bed with his phone in one hand, and an open bottle of beer in another, taking a deep swig as he turns his head to look at you from where he was gazing out of the window.
“Hey, Y/N/N,” he smiled at you as you closed the door behind you, slipping the lock to prevent them from getting too curious and coming in for proof.
You cross the floor with your heart pounding against your rib cage, coming to a stop in front of him, and placing your finger to your lips, shushing him as you wink and sink down to your knees in front of him.
You watched confusion flashed across his face as your hands slipped sensually up his thighs, making their way to his belt, undoing it quickly and lowering his zipper before he had a chance to react.
“What...What are you? Oh, God.”
Reaching inside his pants you quickly remove his flaccid length stroking it in your hand and blowing lightly across the tip, smirking as his hips jerked in response, and his cock started to swell under your administrations.
“Oh my God,” he murmured, quickly undoing his button and swatting you away only long enough to shove his pants and boxers down in a hurry. You bit your tongue, desperately wanting to respond with, “I thought you went by Rob now,” but remembering you weren’t allowed to speak.
By the time you took him in your hands again you were pretty impressed at the fact he was already fully erect, and already forming a little bead of precum at his swollen tip. Even more impressive was the sudden need you had to taste him.
You had always thought Rob was cute, but you had never really seen him that way, not until this point.
Giving him your best doe-eyed look you slowly run your tongue all the way up the thick vein on the underside of his cock, stopping to tongue at his slit, your own pussy clenching around nothing at the little moans that were already falling from his lips as his eyes closed and his head lulled back; the salty taste of precum invading your taste buds as you hollow out your checks and swallow all of him that you could until you were nose to hilt with him.
“Holy shit,” he groaned, grabbing your hair and moving it out of your face as you bag to bob up and down his shaft, licking, sucking, and jerking what you couldn’t fit in your mouth as you went.
You never expected this to turn you on the way it did, but damn. The weight of him on your tongue was downright intoxicating. It didn’t take long for his legs to start shaking, and his breath to come in short, uneven bursts as he got closer and closer to his release, his hips moving along with the pace you had set.
You could tell he was close, right on the edge, all he needed was a little push to get there, and you had a feeling you knew just how to do it.
Carefully you slip your left hand under his quickly tightening sack, massaging slowly, pulling more strangled groans from his lips as his legs tightened and jerked, almost there, but still not quite falling over the edge. Taking a deep breath through your nose, you hollow out your cheek and swallow him whole in one goal, gagging slightly around the tip, that was all it took for him to spill into your waiting mouth, and you eagerly sucked down all he had to give until he couldn’t take it anymore.
Rob sat on the bed, wide-eyed and panting as he slowly got to your feet, carefully wiping your mouth because, well, dammit you were a lady after all, and giving him a wink as you head towards the door.
“Merry Christmas Rob,” you say as you grab a hold of the doorknob, knowing damn good and well there was a crowd waiting outside the door because you heard them shuffle away at the close sound of your voice.
“Merry Christmas Y/N,” he replied, voice much higher than normal.
You exit the room grinning only to find a very disgruntled Jensen standing not far from the doorway.
You remember his previous comment as you cross your arms in front of you, leaning against the doorway, more than a little riled up from the task you just completed, the alcohol making you braver than what you would have been normally, and after all, it was a party.
“Truth or dare Jay,” you say with your best devilish smirk, one that he quickly returned, taking a deep swing of the whiskey bottle he was holding before pinning you to the door frame.
“Dare.”

Pairing: Rob Benedict x reader Summary: Saturday at the convention Word Count: 2100 Warnings: mental breakdown, alcohol
Notes: I was really productive today and wrote this whole chapter! It’s not beta-read, but I hope it’s quite ok as it is.. Please leave feedback! :)
_______________________________
After adjusting the volume of the loudspeakers and checking the mics you were ready and gave the sign to one of the volunteers that everything was ready and the panels could start. Just 2 minutes later Rich entered the stage and greeted the crowd. They were screaming and clapping their hands, for them Rich really was a super-star and you had to smile. It was crazy how normal your friendship was, although he and Rob were such famous guys, it was adorable how grounded they were in spite of their success. You looked down on you, you had changed in the Louden Swain shirt before the sound-checks, it was a white T-shirt with a print looking like the band-members falling and a little text saying ‘Louden Swain’. In fact you really liked the design. They in some way looked like they were flying.
During the panel you were focussed on the technic, so the people could really enjoy the people talking, after Rob and Richs start, there were many more panels, but in fact you just needed to do the setup and told another assistant how to adjust the volume, if that was necessary. When you walked back to the green room you could feel something was different between you and the guys. You sat down next to them, you sensed that you really hurt them, when you first refused the shirt. For some moments you said nothing. Suddenly your phone rang. You saw the number of the radio station where you were working.
“Hello, Cloe what’s up?” you answered the phone. “Where are you Y/N? Why aren’t you here?” she asked in a harsh voice. “It’s Saturday, I don’t work today. “ you answered in a shaky voice. She sounded upset, something happened. Rob watched your conversation, but you couldn’t notice anything other than the voice coming from the speaker. “Wrong. You have your day off at Sunday. Did you ever read your contract?” Cloe scolded you. “Also you left far too early yesterday. Is this job just some joke to you.” She kept going. Tears welled up in your eyes. “Sorry, Cloe. I…” you looked at the time, it was already noon.
“We saw some pictures of you on the internet, did you leave for a TV-convention?” Cloe asked, but she didn’t gave you time to answer. “Honestly.. Y/N… what did you think?” Your mouth was dry and you couldn’t say anything. “Cloe… I… I can be there in an hour.” You tried with a broken voice. “No, Y/N. That’s not necessary. You don’t have to come here. Like ever again.”
When you heard this words, you couldn’t breathe. “Please… Cloe.. I need this job.” You pressed out, tears now streaming down your cheeks. “You should have thought about his earlier. Bye, Y/N” she told you and ended the call. You starred at your phone. What the f… just happened? You couldn’t control your emotions anymore, without looking at anybody you stood up and left the room. You needed some space, you don’t know where you were heading, but you needed to get away. Eventually you sat down in a silent corner, buried your face in your hands and just cried. That couldn’t be true, you needed this job, you needed the money, you didn’t know how to get by without this money. Your whole world just broke down.
You didn’t know how long you were sitting there, when suddenly something touched your shoulder. “Are you dead?” a shy voice asked. You slowly looked up, a little girl stood in front of you. “I guess not.” You said silently and tried to smile. “But you are sad. I can see that, you were crying.” She deducted “My dad says it’s okay to be sad sometimes.” She then continued. “But I don’t want you to be sad.” The little girl came closer and hugged you when you heard someone ask loudly “Maison, what are you doing? I told you not to run away again.”
The girl stepped back a bit. “I found a friend, Daddy. But she is sad, so I said that’s okay to be sad.” She said and gripped your hand. When the man came closer to see what the girl meant you wiped away your tears. “I’m sorry, I just…” you tried to answer, but you didn’t know what to say. Again tears welled up in your eyes. But the man just smiled, sat down on the floor next to you an took Maison, the girl on his lap. “Like Maison said, it’s okay to be sad.” He smiled and just sat there. “You don’t have to sit here. You surely have better things to do” you sobbed. “Maison said, that you are her friend, and friends shouldn’t be alone, when they are sad.” He reassured and Maison still held your hand. “So, I’m Misha, and I would be happy if you want to be my friend as well.” He introduced himself. You stared at him, then you nodded “I’m Y/N”. You didn’t know anything else to say, so you just stayed silent for a moment.
There was so much going on in your head, but you couldn’t say anything. “Daddy. Why isn’t she saying anything” Maison asked her Dad “I think she just needs some time.” He answered and looked at you “But she knows that we are her friends, and we are here, if she wants to say anything.” You nodded and smiled slightly, but then everything hit you again and you started to cry like before, you would lose everything, your little room, your place at university, your friends. You put your head on your knees and couldn’t yourself together. Misha carefully put his arm around you “It’s okay.” He whispered, “It’s okay.”
He waited there, next to you until you had your things together again. “Maison, could you get our friend something to drink, you know where you can get something.” Maison nodded and ran away, happy she could help with something. “Thank you” you whispered and leaned into his shoulder. “Wanna talk about what happened?” he asked kindly, a few more tears rolled down your cheeks. “I guess I just lost my job.” You sobbed and you started to tremble a little. “Shhh.. It’s okay.. I got you.” Maison returned with a bottle of soda. “Here Y/N. It’s my favourite.” She smiled and gave you the bottle. “Thank you, Maison. You are a true hero” you told her when you took the bottle.
“Y/N? Where are you?” you heard a well-known voice. “Y/N?” Rob sounded desperate, when he saw Misha he acted surprised “Misha, why are you sitting…” Maison stood up and waved to Rob “Hello Robbie! Dad said I could come here with him.” She smiled. Rob painfully smiled at her, when he saw you sitting next to Misha.
“Y/N!” Rob grasped. “Thank God!” He came closer, sat down at the floor. “Everything okay?” he asked, when he saw your red, swollen eyes. “Y/N is my friend now!” Maison said proudly. “I found her and I got her my favourite drink!” Misha smiled “You did very well, Maison.” He pulled her close gently and placed a kiss on her head. “I’m so proud of you”, he said. “But I think Robbie is also a friend of Y/N.”
You looked at Rob. You still didn’t know his last name. He seemed relieved and sad at the same time. “It’s okay.” You answered. You didn’t want him to know that your whole life is crumbling. He looked at you and you knew he didn’t believe you, but you couldn’t tell him anything. You lost your job because you came here and you came here because of Rich and him.
“Maison, I think we should take our bags to our room.” Misha told his daughter. “I guess there will be more time for you to spend time with your friend. Robbie will be here for her. And we will see her later. Promise.” He winked at you, took Maisons hand and they left.
When the two of them were gone Rob gently took your hand and said nothing. He just was there, sometimes he hummed a silent melody until it dawned to me “What’s with the convention?” you asked. “Rich and Matt are doing the host thing at the moment. I had to know that you were okay. You looked terrified when you left the Green Room. I was worried.” You looked into his eyes. “I’m sorry” you admitted. “for rushing off. It was just…” you looked at the floor again “…it was just too much.” Rob sat next to you and softly pulled you into a hug and said nothing. “And I really like your shirt.” You smiled and he smiled as well. “That’s good, ‘cause I really want to wear it to the concert tonight.”
The rest of the day went by very quickly. Sure, you still thought a lot about how your life would go on, but on the other hand you wanted to enjoy the weekend. You couldn’t do anything about your problems now, so you could try to forget them, at least for tonight. Sometimes you caught Rob or Rich gazing at you, but you didn’t say anything about your breakdown.
You learned, that Misha, Maisons Dad, was in fact one of the most famous actors of the show, along with two very nice guys called Jensen and Jared, who arrived later in the evening. In the afternoon you played a bit with Maison and watched some of the panels. Before the concert there was some free time for getting ready, since you still had no room on your own you again walked into the room with Rob and Richard. “Could you stop looking at me like that” you said, when you saw Richards glance. “I’m okay. Really.” They both nodded, but you felt, that they still didn’t believe you.
They put on some fresh clothes for the concert, this time more basic things. T-Shirts and Jeans. When it was time for the soundcheck you headed downstairs, everything went well, the crowd was so happy with them. And you, once again, were impressed how different those guys were on the stage.
After the last song you turned off the speakers and the microphone, shut down the whole system and left the room. You were ready to head home and wanted to say goodbye to everybody, when Rob came and looked confused “What are you doing? You promised, you would stay for some drinks tonight” you smiled knowing “I know, but…”
“No, please. You promised! I’m sure we find something where you can stay. You can stay in my bed – I’ll sleep on the couch. Or something like that. But please stay.” He pleaded.
“Rob..” you tried to answer, but suddenly a bunch of people passed, including Richard “Are you ready?” Rich asked you. “We are heading to a very comfy bar for a beer, or two…” he smiled and then took your hand, so you couldn’t say no. “But..” you tried a last time, but Rich smiled and said “It will be a nice evening, sugar. We got you.”
When Rich noticed, that you wouldn’t leave, he released your hand. The bar was, like Rich said, very cozy, shortly after the whole group got there, Rich left to pick up drinks for everybody. He came back with some beer, you thought about it, but then took one, like Rob said, there will be some place to stay and you felt like you needed that beer now. It was a very nice evening, a bit like the evening, when you met the band for the first time. After a while the alcohol was kicking in and it was easier for you to forget what happened. You were dancing with Sebastian and Matt, every once in a while somebody gave you something new to drink and so the evening went by.
Little by little the people left until just Rich, Rob and you were left. “I think it’s time to go” Rich said and you shook your head. Rich gently took your hand “Come on, Y/N, it’s late.” – “I don’t wanna go” you whined, but as Rob took your other hand and they both guided you to the exit you went with them. “Thank you, guys.” You babbled “This was a great last weekend. “ you smiled. Rob looked at you “What do you mean?” he asked. “I mean, I guess, I will live on the street from now on, I lost my jo…” you stumbled and fell hard, you scraped your knee and your left hand. It hurt “Ouch.. Why is all this happening to me” you mumbled. Rich and Rob looked at each other for a moment before the helped you up and brought you back to the hotel.

It Cursed Upon a Midnight Clear
For my own Cards Against Christmas Challenge. There were just too many good ones left to pass up, so here is my holiday gift to you, with a little help from @seenashwrite. The Challenge is to fill in the blank on a well known Christmas Carol, a la Cards Against Humanity, and make it the title. There will not be a tag list for each drabble, but I will post them on the master list once completed.
Warnings: drinking, jealousy, singing
Unbeta’d - all mistakes are my own.

The Christmas party was in full swing at Jensen and Danneel’s house. You had never been there before, being new to the show and all, but it was absolutely stunning. Everyone was having a great time. Drinks were flowing and music filled the air.
With a fresh cocktail in hand, you settled in as Jason and Rich started singing “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” for all the guests. You would never get over how talented the entire cast was, yourself excluded. Your grandma used to say you couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket, but that never stopped you from singing along. You felt the smile on your face spread even wider as you caught Rich’s eye and he winked at you. Feeling bold from the effects of the alcohol, you winked back.
“Son of a bitch!” the curse came from behind you and you whipped your head around to find Rob standing there with a scowl on his face.
“It’s a beautiful night, we’re surrounded by all our friends...why the Scrooge face, Rob?” You giggled, walking over to him.
“All of this,” Rob replied, motioning around the room. “This is why.” He settled his hand on Rich, flailing, clearly agitated over something.
“Rob, I don’t understand,” you were genuinely confused.
“Because Bob-o doesn’t have the guts to fess up and tell someone what he wanted for Christmas this year, Y/N. He told everyone, including Santa Rich here, but not the one person that matters,” Rich laughed heartily, throwing his head back.
“Rich!” Rob shouted.
“He thinks he is below you, my dear, but all Rob wants for Christmas is you,” Rich sang as he skipped away.
“I-is that true?” you stammered, not believing what you heard.
“Yeah, it’s all true. But now Rich ruined it, so just-just forget it,” Rob hung his head and turned to walk away.
“What if I said all I want for Christmas is you, too?” You stopped him, holding his wrist.
“You’re serious?” Rob blinked a couple times. You nodded, the santa hat on your head slipping to the side. “Well, I guess it wouldn’t be the worst.” A smile spreading across his bearded face.
“Rob, let’s have ourselves a merry little Christmas,” you slid your hand from his wrist, taking his hand in yours.
As if on cue, Jason and Jensen started singing and what a merry little Christmas it was.

Imagine...Rob Comforting You
Tumblr media
Pairing: Rob x reader
“Hey,” you said, walking up behind your husband from where he sat at the kitchen table, wrapping your arms around his sagged shoulders. He hummed, giving you a small nod as he glanced at a few papers, trying to figure everything out. “It’s late. You can look at that stuff in the morning.”
“I have to take dad to the doctor in the morning,” he said, taking off his glasses, rubbing his eyes with his palms. “I just need a cup of coffee, honey.”
“It’s midnight, Robbie,” you said, taking his hands in yours. “You need to get some sleep.”
“I need a lot of things right now,” he said, ducking his head down. You sighed, closing your eyes and tugging up on his arm, trying to drag him to bed before it hit him. No one had been expecting his mother to go all of a sudden and he was verging closer and closer to his breaking point, even if he didn’t see it yet. Even getting him in the bedroom and into his pajamas, he was on an autopilot of sorts, a few thick swallows here and there warning you he’d finally had enough.
“Come here,” you said, sitting down on his side of the bed, patting the spot beside you. He took a deep breath, gripped the edge of the mattress and you saw his shoulders start to shake. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him onto the bed and into you, his body no longer able to hold back the collected front he’d put up the past few days. “I got you Rob.”
“Hey,” you heard a few days later, the urgent things settled with but now the five thousand other things back on the table. Work, kid stuff, a father in law that needed caring for, a husband that’d been turning to you for support...you didn’t mind being the one that everyone was looking to. You knew you were strong and so did they. But you were so exhausted, ready to burst yourself, and you knew it’d be a good long while before things felt normal again.
“Hi,” you said, crawling into bed with a sigh, hoping for a decent night’s sleep for once. You plopped your head down, Rob fussing around behind you before he flipped the covers back and got in, pressing himself up against you. He tucked his arm over your waist, a little tight actually before he rolled you to face him, a sad smile on his face. “Babe, I can’t take any more bad news this week.”
“No bad news,” he said, pressing a kiss to the tip of your nose. You glanced up at him, his hand running over the top of your head. “You’re pretending you’re okay for my sake. That’s not okay.”
“You just lost your mom, you’re the one that needs to be taken care of,” you said, his head cocking at you, a smirk in there for a flash of a second that was a sight for sore eyes.
“Always so tough,” he said with a smile, throwing his legs over your own, wrapping you up in him. “Now let it out, sweetie. I might be late to the job but someone needs to take care of you too and frankly, it should be me.”
He stared for a moment, letting you know it was okay to take a break for yourself, that he’d pick you back up like you’d done for him. A simple nod was all it took to let those walls come down, the weight off your shoulders as he held you close. It didn’t stop the pain from still sitting there deep in your gut where you knew you couldn’t get it out...but you knew you weren’t alone in it either.

Don’t Say I Told You So
Pairing: Rob Benedict x Reader, Richard Speight Jr
Summary: Rob and you celebrate Valentine’s Day and try to keep it simple. What happens when Rich’s words take his friend by surprise and make him start thinking about where your relationship is headed?
Word Count: 1151
Warnings: A little bit of drunkenness to start, cute first date, all the fluff, Rob and Rich (that is a warning), celebrating Valentine’s Day.
A/N: This was written for @natasha-cole‘s #Nat’s Valentine Challenge. My prompts are in bold. I knew I had to write Rob for this. It was meant to be. I hope y’all enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Wow, I didn’t know you could do that.” a drunken giggle left your lips as your date walked you back to your door.
“Yeah, I sing, play guitar, and then I act. Well, not as much anymore but yeah.” his shy smile made you grin. Rob was sweet and caring. Your date had been wonderful. He had introduced you to an exquisite italian restaurant in downtown LA. The two of you had walked around for a bit before you took him to your favorite bar. There, the two of you chatted over a couple of drinks before he took you back to your place.
“I definitely need to hear that soon. How long have you been performing?” you lightly squeezed the arm you were holding.
“Well the guys and I have been playing together for about twenty years.”
There was that smile again. “Oh, wow. That’s like forever.”
“Yeah, definitely feels like it but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”
“Sounds like you really enjoy it.” The two of you were finally at your door.
“I do. I’ll have to play for you sometime.”
“I would really like that.” You gave Rob another drunken, giggly, smile and went to unlock your door. In your hurry and also your drunken state, you dropped your keys.
Rob reached down and picked them up for you, unlocked the door and held it open.
 “Thank you.”
Rob nodded and handed you back the keys. “I had an amazing time tonight, (Y/n). I would like to see you again. Well if you want to.”
Before you lost your courage you quickly smashed your lips into his. Taking Rob by surprise, it took him a second to respond but then his lips were moving with yours.
“I'll take that as a good sign.” Rob chuckled as you backed away and blushed hard.
“Definitely a good sign. I would love to see you again. Call me.”
“I can do that.” Rob nodded as he backed away. “Good night, (Y/n).”
 “Good night, Rob.”
One year later and you and Rob were going strong. You shared goofy personalities and crazy friends. You loved how passionate he could be and he loved how you kept him serious, but only sometimes. You had been cast approved, most importantly by Rich but everyone loved having you around. Con weekends were now like mini reunions.
Rob had asked you to come to as many as you could this year since your schedules couldn't seem to coincide very often. Early in the year you had barely seen him but you knew you were guaranteed one good day in the middle of February.
You had never been really romantic but he definitely brought it out in you. His gifts were always personal and priceless. His favorite thing was to write you silly little songs that would always make you smile.
Rob was planning something simple for Valentine’s Day. Since you never really liked over the top and outrageous, he decided against it. He got you a simple necklace that he knew you would love, a box of your favorite chocolates and a cheesy movie the two of you could spend the night watching.
Rich had tried to convince him to do more but Rob knew better.
“(Y/n) doesn’t like over the top crap.” Rob tried to explain over the phone.
“Robby, you have to do something amazing for the woman you love.”
Rob huffed into the receiver. “What? Of course I’m not in love with her! That’s insane.”
“Oh, Bobbo, you are so in love you’re blind to it.” Rich laughed.
 “Am not.”
“Whatever you say, man. Just one more thing for later, when you realize it, I told you so.” With that, Rich hung up and left Rob standing there, contemplating his words.
Your doorbell rang at exactly half past seven. You raced to the door and flung it open to find Rob standing there with a small bag in hand. You grinned brightly and he immediately pulled you into his arms. A quick kiss and a squeeze later and you were leading him into the house and to the kitchen.
“Dinner is ready I just have it warming.”
“It smells amazing, (Y/n).” Rob stood back and watched as you moved around the kitchen. You finished grabbing some plates and silverware and placed it on the counter. You pulled the dish from the oven and opened the lid.
Two pork chops laid in a thick gravy surrounded by tons of veggies.
“It looks even better than it smells.” Rob came up behind you and kissed your shoulder. You quickly dished out the servings onto the plates.
“Follow me.” you said as you lead Rob into the  dining room that you barely used.
“Oh, candles. We're going romantic are we?” he wiggled his eyebrows at you.
“Hush you and come eat your dinner.”
Rob laughed and sat down across from you at the square table. You carried on a small conversation while the two of you enjoyed the meal you had prepared. After dinner, Rob helped you rinse the dishes and then the two of you made your way into the living room. Rob reached for the bag that he had brought with him and handed it to you.
“Robby, I told you not to.” You scolded.
 “Like I ever listen.”
You took the bag and gave him a kiss. The first thing you found in the bag was your favorite cheesy rom-com. “We're definitely watching this.”
 “That's the plan.”
Next you pulled out the small box and opened it to reveal a gorgeous opal pendant on a dainty chain necklace. “Oh, Babe, it's gorgeous. Here,” you handed him the box. “put it on for me?”
He quickly draped the chain around your neck and secured it with the clasps.
“You seriously didn't have to do this.” You smiled at him when you turned back around.
“There's still one more thing in the bag.”
You reached back in and pulled out the box. The shops logo made you smile as you recognized it. The open lid revealed an array of your favorite chocolates and you squealed happily.
“So, I'm guessing you like them?”
 “You outdid yourself. Thank you.”
You leaned in closer and sealed your lips with his. “You're amazing Rob. I love you.”
Rob sat shocked for a moment as he thought over your last words. Did you really? Did he?
He knew he really cared about you and that he definitely saw a future with you but could he say love. As the moments dwindled by he finally made his decision.
 “I love you too, (Y/n).”
As the night wore on and the two of you cuddled on the couch, Rob remembered his best friends words. He pulled out his phone and sent a quick text.
“Don't say it now but you were right. I love (Y/n).”

What Ifs
Pairing: Rob x Reader
Word Count: 1700 Warnings: Language
A/N: Purely fiction. No disrespect meant to any actors or their significant others. It’s all for entertainment and to fulfill fantasies of fan girls.
Rob Benedict was, without a doubt, one of your best friends on the entire planet; he had been ever since you had joined the cast of Supernatural as a regular and subsequently become a regular on the con circuit. Of all of the people you had met and friends you had ever made, both new and old, there was just something about Rob and you that just meshed well. You could never really say what it was about the two of you or pinpoint exactly why you clicked the way you had, but you had instantly connected from the first time you’d met and had been practically connected at the hip ever since. Everyone who knew the two of you and saw you together could see it; there was an undeniable chemistry between you and most, if not all, of your mutual friends often wondered both to themselves as well as amongst each other why you and he had never become something more. As far as they could see you’d have made a perfect couple and nobody believed for one second that there wasn’t something more than friendship beneath the surface or that neither of you felt something deeper for the other.
What most of them didn’t know, at least you didn’t think they did, was that Rob DID want there to be more between the two of you and that he had even brought it up to you. One night in the middle of a Netflix binge session, and after a few glasses of wine too many for both of you, he had confessed his feelings to you. He had told you in no uncertain terms that he was falling in love with you and wanted to be with you. He had all but begged you to give him, to give the two of you as a couple, a shot. It had taken your breath away to hear him say those things to you, to hear him telling you that he felt the same way about you as you did about him, to have him tell you that he wanted to try at a relationship with you.
Your reaction, however, hadn’t been the best and you knew it wasn’t what he had been expecting from you. Rather than echo his feelings back to him and tell him that you’d been feeling all the same things, you had stuttered and tripped over your words as you struggled with what to say to him. Instead of falling into his arms, you had nearly fallen over your own to feet as you grabbed your things and stumbled out of his house without saying anything to him. To his credit Rob had never mentioned that night to you again and never treated you any differently, but every time he looked at you there was a pain in his eyes that had never been there before. The spark that had made him your Rob was gone and you knew it was your fault.
Ever since that night you found yourself distancing yourself from him, almost pushing him away. You weren’t connected at the hip the way you had once been. There was no longer the Double Trouble Duo of Y/N and Rob, kicking up trouble and sending peels of laughter echoing down the hallways at the conventions. Everyone was starting to notice and talk amongst themselves, wondering what had happened to change the dynamic between the two of you and had driven you apart. The entire atmosphere in the group was changing and nobody liked it one bit; it had everyone concerned to the point that they knew somebody needed to say something and to run an intervention.
That was how you wound up finding yourself cornered by Briana one Friday afternoon when both of you had a little bit of downtime. You had been sitting in the green room eating a quick lunch, keeping to yourself the way you tended to do nowadays, when Briana came over and flopped herself down in the empty chair next to you. You glanced up at her briefly before turning your attention back to your food, trying to ignore the way her eyes burned into you as she stared you down.
“What the fuck is going on between you and Rob, Y/N?”
You nearly choked on your fries at her incredibly blunt question and you had to grab your drink and take a big swig of it to wash down your food. The plus side was that you didn’t have to come up with an answer right away, as you were too busy trying to catch your breath again. Once you had stopped coughing, you chanced a glance up at Briana and tried to school your features to look confused. “I don’t know what you’re talking about…”
“Fucking bullshit, Y/N. The two of you have been acting weird for months. We hardly ever see you together anymore, and that’s not like either of you, so either you tell me what the hell is going on or I’ll go and ask him.”
Looking back down at your lunch, you pushed the food around on your plate with a fork and tried to look interested in it despite the fact that you had completely lost your appetite. Sighing softly, you looked back up at her as you shrugged your shoulders. “He told me he was falling in love with me…I bailed.”
The look of shock on your friend’s face would have almost been comical, had it not quickly been replaced with a look of anger. “What the fuck, Y/N, why the hell would you do something like that? And don’t try and tell me it’s because you don’t feel the same way, because everyone here knows that’s a pile of bullshit. So, why’d you do it?”
There it was. The question you had been trying to avoid ever since it had happened. The question that you barely had an answer to yourself. In your head, you had an answer, but in your heart you knew it was weak at best. Shaking your head a little, you just looked at her with regret filled eyes. “Because, Briana, I’m scared. He’s my best friend and I don’t want to lose him.”
“What the hell kind of answer is that, Y/N? The man is in love with you and I know damned well you’re in love with him. So how the hell would you lose him?”
“He’s in love with me NOW, Briana, but what if that changes and things go south? What if he finds someone better and doesn’t need me anymore? What if he leaves me and breaks my heart? Then what?”
Unbeknownst to you, somewhere during your conversation with Briana, Rob had come into the room. He’d been standing in the corner, not wanting to eavesdrop but at the same time wanting to know what was going through your mind. When he heard your reasoning for walking out on him and subsequently pushing him away, he let out a growl and came stalking across the room towards you. “Seriously? That’s what this is all about, Y/N, the what if’s?”
Your head snapped around so fast at the sound of his voice that you were pretty sure you felt a muscle pull in your neck and you could feel your face heating up in embarrassment at having been overheard. Never before in your life had you wished for the floor to open up and swallow you whole the way you did right now. “Rob? How long have you been standing there. I…”
“No. No more, Y/N. We could sit here and talk about what ifs until the world stops, but it’s pointless.” He shook his head sadly as he sat down in the chair next to you on the other side from where Briana was. “You want to talk what ifs? Then I’ve got a few for you. What if this is it and I was the one made for you…or you’re the one made for me? What if you and I are meant to be? What if…what if I end up being the one to change your name someday?”
“Rob…”
“I’m not done yet, Y/N.” Moving his chair closer to you, he took both of your hands in his and leaned in to rest his head against yours. In the back of your mind you were aware that not only was Briana still sitting right next to you, but everyone else had started to trickle in as well. You had a small audience now, but they all seemed to fade into the background and disappear as you stared into the brightest most beautiful pair of blue eyes you had ever seen. “What if I kiss you right now, Y/N? You might like it…but we’ll never know unless we give it a try.”
You couldn’t help but laugh softly as you tried to keep the tears from falling. You wanted this, you really did, but you were still scared. There was just so much that could go wrong and you couldn’t handle it if your heart got broken in all of this. Rob was the one you always went to when you were upset, but if he were the one to hurt you then you’d have nobody to go to. If you were to try a relationship with him and things didn’t work out you’d lose your lover and your best friend all in one fell swoop and you didn’t think you’d be strong enough to survive that. But…what if Rob was right? What if this was meant to be? The what ifs, on both sides of the spectrum, wee enough to make your head spin and you didn’t know what to do or what you wanted anymore.
“Please, Y/N. Let me love you…”
You could feel your resolve breaking and melting away as you looked at him, saw the pleading and desperation in his eyes. There was a lot on the line, a lot that could go wrong, but there was so much more that could go right. Taking in a deep breath, you let it out slowly and nodded your head. “Okay…”
Before you had even fully gotten the word out, you felt Rob’s lips brush softly against yours, tentatively at first as he waited to see what your reaction would be. As you leaned into him and into the kiss, you felt the kiss become more possessive as his fingers tangled in your hair and you both got what you had been wanting for as long as you could remember. Just like that, in that moment, you felt Rob kissing all of your what ifs away.

The Time We Wasted
I found this in my drafts having never actually posted it like last year.
Rob x Reader
1,165 words
Flangst
Notes: Forgot I finished this! It survived being deleted by the baby lol. I actually got this idea from one of @natasha-cole ‘s prompts. The line was ‘Oh my God can you please shut the fuck up?’
***
‘And you’re saying everyone knows this?’ You asked Billy.
He looked a little uncomfortable now and shrugged.
‘I mean ... it’s kind of obvious.’
Your mind was racing.
‘Do people... I mean do you guys like... talk about it? With Rob?’ You shifted uncomfortably.
Billy ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
‘He has no idea.’
You relaxed a little.
‘But... I’m pretty sure Rich is gonna talk to him.’
‘What?’ You felt the colour drain from you. ‘I have to find him.’
You hurried out of the room to find Rich.
‘Y/N!’ Billy called after you weakly.
It didn’t take long to find them. They were in the hotel bar, beers in hand.
You slowed and stopped when you got near, heart pounding in your chest. What if you were too late? What would you even say?
It seemed your timing was impeccable.
‘Robbie, she’s crazy about you. How can you not see it?’
Rob rested his beer on the table and bit his lip. He was frowning, processing, you thought.
He ran his hand over the side of his face and exhaled heavily.
Anger flashed in his eyes.
‘Why would she...’ he stuttered. ‘Why would...’
You went to steady yourself on the table next to you but in your haste you knocked several empty bottles clattering into each other. The noise caused both Rob and Rich to turn.
As their eyes settled on you, you turned to hurry away, heart pounding and head racing.
What was the end of that sentence? ‘Why would she be delusional enough to think I would be interested in her?’
‘Why would anyone be interested in her?’
You heard your name being called behind you but didn’t stop or turn. You crashed into the door, pushing it open with the weight of your panic and felt the cool fresh air of outdoors against your face. Tears burned in your eyes.
You heard the door clatter once more and upped your pace, although there was really nowhere else you could go. You realised you had come to an enclosed beer garden, brick surrounding on all sides.
Rob grabbed your arm and pulled you so you were forced to turn to him.
‘Y/N,’ he said, the irritation clear in his voice. ‘Would you look at me?’
Reluctantly you shifted your eyes to his. You thought you maybe saw sadness in them, but shook it off.
You had been so painfully obsessed with the man for so long now, you saw whatever you wanted to see. Maybe you were delusional.
You looked down at his hand on your arm, his grip probably tighter than he realised.
He let go.
‘I...I’m sorry,’ you scrambled, stepping backwards. ‘Please just forget about it - I don’t expect ... I mean I know you could never... I’m just useless and pathetic and I’m so sorry please don’t think I’m a creep or ... ‘ you spoke so fast even you couldn’t quite make out what you were saying.
‘Y/N,’ Rob said, jaw taut with frustration.
‘or... I’ll stop hanging out with you guys. I’ll just disappear and then...’
‘Y/N! Oh my God can you please shut the fuck up?’
Silence. You stared at him in bewilderment, breath ragged and heavy. Instinctively you took another step back, but realised again all that was behind you was a wall.
Rob drew breath to speak, but it seemed like now he had the floor, words escaped him.
He shook his head, exhaling heavily then stepped forward.
He pushed your shoulders so you were now up against the wall, then he pinned your wrists either side of your head.
His lips crashed into yours and before you realised what was happening, you were kissing him back. His lips were eager and harsh, beard scratching against your tender skin, his tongue finding yours.
He let go of your wrists and threaded his fingers through your hair, pinning you now with his warm body against yours.
you realised this is what it would feel like pressed beneath him.
Your now free hands instinctively went to his waist and gripped him tight.
Rob’s lips moved from yours and an involuntary whimper stirred in your throat.
He opened his eyes at that and began kissing your neck instead, watching you.
Your whimper turned into a groan and your hands slipped to his ass to pull him closer.
But then he inhaled deeply, pulling his lips away from you. Your grip on him remained tight and he was still pressed against you, which made everything he said more intense.
He brushed your messy hair from your face.
‘Why would you not tell me?’ He asked, his voice now much softer - somewhere just above a purr.
‘I didn’t think... you would be interested,’ you basically whispered. You were unable to meet his eyes.
Rob scoffed and shook his head. ‘You turned me down! Several times!’
‘I... really? That was...?’ You dug deep into your memory of when you had first been getting to know him. ‘I thought I imagined... really?’
‘You imagined nothing. I was really disappointed and so confused about how you acted around me.’
‘I... I...’ You were speechless. How could you have misinterpreted everything so embarrassingly wrong?
You looked back up into his eyes and saw now the intensity and the eagerness with which he regarded you.
It’s like his eyes were drinking you in.
‘I thought you were mad at me,’ you said to the floor.
‘I am mad at you. For wasting so much time thinking you weren’t good enough.’ He took your face in his hand. ‘Why the fuck would you think that?’
He kissed you firmly again and moved quickly down to your neck. He learned fast.
You grabbed onto the fabric at his bicep, needing to steady yourself.
As much as you wanted to just melt into him and the the way he was making you feel, you still had a lot to say to each other.
‘Why... why wouldn’t you say something?’ You said, eyes still closed as his teeth grazed the skin of your neck.
He sighed against you then looked into your eyes again.
‘Look, when a lady says no, she means no.’
You nodded, so angry at yourself. Tears burned in your eyes. ‘Whatever your reasons I wanted to respect that.’
He ran his fingers through your hair again.
‘Let’s start from here,’ he said.
You heard whispering and looked over Rob’s shoulder to see a few people who had come out with their drinks watching you.
‘Rob,’ you said, alarmed.
He turned, then took your hand and guided you through the people and back through the door. He didn’t say where he was taking you and you didn’t care. In fact neither of you spoke until you reached his hotel door. He unlocked it silently and led you inside to make up for all the time you had lost.

Title: Unraveled
Pairing: Rob Benedict x Reader
Word Count: 2,452
Warnings: bad dates, fluff, probably a swear word or two
Prompt: “I need you to be my girlfriend for about five minutes” and blind date
Summary: Rob and Y/N made a deal that if they ever needed to be in a fake relationship for whatever reason, it’d be with each other but after a couple bad dates, they realize that maybe they should stop pretending, but they don’t come to this conclusion on their own.
A/N: written for @natasha-cole ’s Valentine Challenge
Tumblr media
You weren’t very good at dating. You had been in a serious relationship with someone for two years, except that ended a year and a half ago and you finally decided to get back in the dating game. It wasn’t going well at all.
You had signed up for a few dating apps, which were proving to be useless. You’d been on a few dates, but with your crazy schedule, it was hard to meet people and see them more than once when you did meet them.
You went out to bars with friends to try and pick up guys that way and even that was a fail. Everyone around here seemed to be taken or recently single and not looking, or way older than you and downright inappropriate.
And then there were the times when you actually made it to a date, and it ended terribly. The person wasn’t who they seemed to be. You weren’t really their type or vice versa. In short, you really sucked at dating.
“I think I’m just gonna be single the rest of my life,” you sighed, flopping back on the couch in the green room. “I’m gonna be the fun aunt that spoils all her nieces and nephews because she doesn’t have kids or a husband of her own.”
“You just need someone you know who doesn’t mind your busy schedule,” Kim said.
“All of my friends who don’t care are taken.”
“Not all of them.”
“Rob doesn’t count.”
Briana laughed as she joined you and Kim on the couch. “This talk again?”
“He doesn’t!” you argued. “We’ve been friends for years. If there was something there we would’ve realized it by now.”
“Okay, if you’re really not into Rob, I know someone who you might like,” Bri mentioned.
“Who?” You perked up. Bri had tried to set you up on a date before and it went well, except that your schedules were too busy to find another time to see each other. You were completely bummed because you really hit it off in the beginning.
“His name is Logan. Meet him on Tuesday evening at the Hard Rock Cafe.”
“I don’t get to see what he looks like?”
“We’re gonna start trying blind dates now.”
You took an uber to the restaurant. Hollywood was busy even for a Tuesday and you didn’t want to bother with parking. It wasn’t too crowded when you walked in, and you went to finding someone by themselves at a table. You found him quickly.
“Logan?” you asked, approaching the table.
“Yeah. Y/N?”
“That’s me.”
“Have a seat,” he invited. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“You as well,” you grinned, pulling out the wooden chair and sitting across from him. You scooted yourself up to the table, folding your hands in your lap. “Have you ordered or anything?”
“No.” He shook his head, then passed you a menu. “They did bring these though, I haven’t even looked through them yet.” He chuckled low in his chest. Briana knew your type to a T. “So, how do you know Briana?”
“We worked together.”
“You’re an actress?” He asked. You nodded, a wide smile on your face. You took pride in your work. “Must not be very well known.”
You nearly choked on your spit. “Huh?”
“Not very well known. When Briana gave me your name I didn’t immediately recognize it, you know? I’ve never seen any of your work before is all.”
“Well, I’m no Meryl Streep, but I’ve done a few projects. How do you know Bri?” You decided that changing the subject was the best option here. You were fine with the fact that you weren’t a popular actress, but the way this guy said that left a bad taste in your mouth.
“Her husband and I are good buddies. So I guess they’re both setting their best friends up together,” he added.
The waitress came by to take your orders. You grimaced at what Logan ordered. It was your least favorite food and you knew watching him eat it would just ruin your appetite.
You took a drink of your ice water, watching as your fingers melted the condensation on the outside of the glass. “So, what do you do for work?”
“I’ve got a normal job. I’m an editor for a publishing company. I fix general mistakes like grammar or punctuation that someone before me missed. Do you read a lot?”
“I love reading. I have a lot of downtime so, I read quite a bit. Plus I travel a lot and it’s always nice to read on a plane or while waiting at the airport,” you mentioned, already going over a list in your head of your favorite books and authors.
“Well, you’re welcome. I get to be the person that makes sure there are no errors in those books.”
“So, you’re a big reader then, I take it? I mean you kind of have to be with a job like that,” you said, but your food came before Logan got a chance to answer.
---
You were halfway through your meal, making small talk with Logan and ultimately decided that this night was a bust and there wouldn’t be a second date when your phone vibrated in your pocket. You cursed yourself for forgetting to turn it off—or at least change the damn vibration setting—and apologized to Logan as you pulled it out, seeing Rob’s name and that stupid goofy picture he took years ago pop up.
“Um…will you excuse me?” You asked. “It’s an emergency.”
“Yeah,” Logan ushered. “I’ll be right here.”
“Thank you,” you whispered, hitting the accept button and standing from your chair. “Rob?”
“Hey! Y/N. Whatcha up to?” His voice was loud and the background noise was louder and you put two and two together, figuring he was out himself.
You were now outside the restaurant, looking through the window to make sure Logan was still there. “Are you drunk?”
“No. God, I wish,” he laughed. “I need you to do something for me.”
“Okay,” you deadpanned.
“I need you to be my girlfriend for about five minutes.”
“Rob, I’m on a date!”
“Great, yeah, cool, me too! And it’s not going well,” he sighed. “She’s not great Y/N. She’s nosy and doesn’t shut up and I may’ve accidentally told her that I’m seeing someone and I got set up on the date by mistake because we haven’t told anyone we’re dating yet and now she’s asking to see my girlfriend and meet my girlfriend. Please. I mean, I know this is kind of outside of the rules but it’s really bad. I’m desperate,” he rambled.
You gave a long sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose. To be honest, this date with Logan wasn’t going well and you’d love to just leave. Maybe this was a sign that the date was only going to get worse. You took it as one, without further thought. “Okay, where are you?”
“California Pizza on Highland and Hollywood.”
“Seriously? Dude I’m at the Hard Rock Cafe.”
“Great, so…like ten minutes?”
“Ten minutes tops,” you promised.
“Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Thank you.”
“Yeah, you owe me, Robbie. I’ll see you soon.” You hung up and put on a brave face, walking back into the restaurant. You frowned when you saw Logan, not entirely wanting to break the news to him.
“Everything okay?” He asked. Your plates had been cleared like he knew this was going to end.
“Uh… not really. That was one of my friends. He uh… got into some trouble and just needs someone to go get him.”
“Ah,” Logan said, a hint of sadness in his voice.
“I’m really sorry,” you began.
“Hey, no. Don’t apologize.” He stopped you before you could get too far. “It’s okay. Um, do you need a ride or anything?”
“No. It’s—he’s at California Pizza, so it’s a short walk. Thank you though, really. And, again, I’m sorry,” you added.
“It was nice meeting you. I’ll let Briana know it didn’t work out.”
You bit your lip, a little disappointed that it didn’t. You knew who you wanted though, no matter how many times you denied it. No matter how many times you insisted it just wouldn’t work out, you knew who you needed. There was always something there, and you had realized it.
You made it to the restaurant quickly, having sped walked most of the way. You ditched your heels just a few minutes in but slid them back on your feet before entering the pizza place.
“Y/N!” You heard Rob call from somewhere on your right. You glanced in the direction to see him waving his hands and made your way to his table. Across from him was what seemed to be a nice girl. She was pretty, long hair and brown eyes. Rob didn’t really have a type but she appeared to be a good compliment to him.
“Marissa, this is my girlfriend, Y/N,” Rob introduced, placing his hand on your lower back when he stood up.
“You’re dressed real nice. Were you out?” She eyed you, up and down and her mouth curved into a frown.
“Yeah. Uh… me and Rob were not… we’ve only been dating for a little bit and our friends still think we’re single. So we’ve been accepting dates they set us up on,” you lied.
“It’s not often. But after tonight you know, I really think we should just tell them,” Rob insisted, in an attempt to sell the story.
“Yeah. I mean, don’t you think it’s weird that you two are out with other people when you’re seeing each other?” Nosy. Rob was right. She was nosy.
“It’s weird,” you answered.
Rob quickly spoke up. “But she and I both know it’s not going to go anywhere serious with these other people so we’re not bothered by it.”
“Why didn’t you just say no to your friends?”
“They like to think we’re lonely and that we need someone.”
“Truth is… all we really need is each other.” You almost scoffed at Rob’s sappiness. You would have, had your heart not skipped a beat and the butterflies not swarmed in your stomach.
“Anyway,” Rob continued. “I’m sorry this was a waste of your time. It was great to meet you, Marissa.” Always the polite one. “I’ll cover the bill. It’s the least I can do.”
“Right well, goodbye,” Marissa said in a sour tone, quickly collecting her bag.
“You just broke her heart,” you warned Rob when she had left.
“Worth it. It’s better than leading her on and having to face a second date.” Rob slouched down into the chair. “Did you eat?”
“Yeah, I got about halfway through my meal before you interrupted.”
“You could’ve said no, Y/N,” he reminded. “If you were on a really good date and in the middle of it you didn’t have to answer or even come down here. I would’ve lived.”
“No. No, We always said that if the other one needed to be the pretend boyfriend or girlfriend we’d do it, no matter the circumstances. I’m not going back on that promise,” you spoke up, finding the seat across from Rob. “Besides, he wasn’t that great anyway.
“Maybe we should stop.”
Your jaw nearly dropped. A hint of panic set in because Rob was your go-to for a lot of things, but especially the fake relationship thing. It was used for emergencies only, like getting hit on by some creep in a bar or one of Rob’s fans getting a little too close and crazy, or dates gone sour like the one he was just on. “Why?”
“I mean… stop pretending,” he said bashfully. His cheeks turned red and you could only assume his face was as hot as yours. “Be honest, are there feelings here between us?”
“For me, yeah. I like that we have similar schedules and that being around you is always so easy and comforting and I don’t feel like I have to be someone I’m not. We’re good friends, and you’re probably my best friend and I don’t ever want to lose that.”
Rob cut you off. “So I swallowed my feelings. I kept them to myself, and to Rich when he continuously hounded me about them. I don’t want to lose this friendship either. But we’re really good at being pretend boyfriend and girlfriend. What if we just tried to be not pretend boyfriend and girlfriend?”
“I like that idea. But do we tell everyone so they stop setting us up on blind dates or do we keep it on the down low for a while?”
“We should probably tell everyone. Let them have their ‘I knew it’ moment. And then we don’t have to tiptoe around them when it comes to coupley things.”
There was a convention a week later which you and Rob decided would be the best place to let everyone know. You were keeping it subtle: you were going to walk in with hands linked together, standing closer than usual and sometime during a conversation Rob was going to wrap his arms around you from behind. It was cute without being showy.
Rob's fingers were laced between yours and your hands were clammy with nerves, but the small gesture of him squeezing your hand eased them. When you got into the green room, hands swinging by your sides, everyone turned their heads.
“It worked?” Briana and Rich shouted at the same time, eyes drifting between each other’s and where you and Rob stood.
“What worked?” You asked.
“The dates! It actually worked? Who caved first?” Rich questioned.
Rob laughed, “What?”
“Oh please,” Briana laughed.”We know about your arrangement with each other that if one of you is on a bad date or getting hit on by someone you have zero interest in you’ll play the boyfriend-girlfriend card and rescue each other. I mean you really think it was a coincidence you were both in the same general area at the exact same time, on dates with people who were great on the outside but not so great on the inside?”
“You little shit!” You yelled. “This was a setup?”
“So really who caved first?” Rich asked.
“Rob did. Marissa’s nosy personality turned him off,” you said. “Hey Bri, Logan was actually pretty good. Had Rob not called, I would’ve hung on ‘til the end. There just wouldn't‘ve been a second date.”
Rob let go of your hand to wrap his arms around you, his chest flush with your back. “I guess we owe Rich for knowing exactly what my type isn’t.”
“Guess so.”

If You Trip
This little piece of fluff was written for darling Angelina’s 2K Gif Challenge @atc74. Congrats, dear! I hope this does Rob justice.
PS: A big thank you goes out to Jess for helping me figure this one out.
Summary: The reader and Rob have been best friends for nearly a decade, and have regular FaceTime chats while he’s away. When he finds himself willingly staring at a phone screen rather than enjoying the Hawaiian paradise around him, it causes him to reevaluate a few things…especially his thoughts on love.
Pairing: Rob X Reader (RPF-**absolutely no disrespect meant towards Rob’s beautiful family**)
Warnings: None really, a few curse words here and there
Word count:1350-ish
Gif not mine–originally posted by hunters-hiraeth here

“Hellllooooo, handsome best friend of mine!” Y/N exclaimed as soon as her face popped up on the screen.
“Y/N! Hi, sweetheart. How’s it going?” Rob asked sweetly, a huge smile spreading across his face, truly happy to hear her voice. These moments with her got him through the day—recharged his soul. He had paradise right outside his window, but he’d without a doubt choose the sight of her face on his phone over any of it. Every. Single. Time.
Tumblr media
“Oh, you know, same ole, same ole,” she answered with a shrug. “Going to work, shaping young minds, being a nerd, missing your face.”
“You see it every few days when we FaceTime. You can’t possibly miss me that much.”
“Ummm…I beg to differ. You’ve been gone for weeks. WEEKS. Now, you are in Hawaii…without me. I still can’t believe you refused to pack me in your suitcase and take me with you. Total dick move, sir.”
“You know, I told you I don’t think that’s the most practical way to travel. If you really wanted to come, all you had to do was ask. I would have handled it.”
If he was being honest with himself, a big part of him had hoped the Hawaiian destination would be enough to entice her to tag along, and he was seriously disappointed when she made the practical decision to stay home. Being a professor at a local university meant lots of extra work and late nights for her right before the holidays, and he knew and respected that, but it still didn’t mean he wouldn’t much rather have her right by his side. She’d been his sounding board and best friend for nearly a decade now, and it always felt unnatural being away from her this long.
“I know, I know, and I’m really regretting my choice right now. Don’t rub it in. So, how’s the convention? Meet the love of your life or anything like that?”
He let out a soft chuckle. “You never know…maybe I did.” Just not at this convention, at one eight years ago, he thought to himself as he looked at her smiling face on his phone screen. The thought caught him off guard. I mean, sure he loved Y/N—she was his best friend and someone he didn’t dare imagine his life without—but the love of his life? Surely not.
“Hey, short stuff, where’d that brain of yours wander off to?”
“How we met, actually. Who’d have thought the girl trying to break into my hotel room would become my best friend?”
“I was NOT trying to break into your room, you were squatting in MINE.”
“Oh no no, MY key to MY room worked just fine. I clearly remember someone else’s key being the problem. Also, lots of cuss words being said. A mini temper tantrum being thrown. I thought you were some Becky-level fangirl that was trying to kidnap me,” he admitted with a laugh.
“I don’t feel sorry for you. Not one damn bit. YOU nearly gave me a heart attack when you yanked open that damn door,” Y/N scolded, pointing at the screen. “Don’t you dare laugh Robbie!” she warned when she heard the snort he hadn’t been able to contain. “You could have killed me! It was your fault I tripped over my suitcase and landed on my head in the middle of that hotel hallway.”   He was full blown laughing at the memory now, and he could tell she was doing her damndest to keep up her little angry charade, which made him laugh even harder.
“Well if you hadn’t been breaking and entering—" He couldn’t breathe well enough at this point to even finish voicing his thought, and that’s when she finally cracked, erupting into hysterics right along with him.
“If I was breaking and entering, then you attempted murder, butthole,” she finally choked out, wiping at the tears running down her face.
He loved her sense of humor, always had, from that very first moment. She made him laugh like no one else could. And he loved the way she laughed with her whole body, not caring how she looked or sounded or if thing the thing she was laughing at was herself. She found such joy in the smallest, most ordinary things, and nothing in the world meant more to her than making someone else happy. And unlike most people, she cared enough to listen and learn exactly how to do that for every individual in her life. She had the kindest heart he’d ever encountered. And the biggest brain. And the most adventurous spirt. And he loved her for all of that…and for…well, and for everything else that made her who she was.
He just loved…her.
He didn’t know exactly when it happened or why he was just now realizing it, but the truth of it settled into his soul and there was no turning back. Maybe he’d started falling in love with her the second he saw her tumble backwards over her luggage. Maybe he needed time to build up the strength to withstand the power of the emotion that was currently pumping through his veins. Years ago, something as all consuming and uncontrollable as this might have broken him—sent him running for the hills—but he was ready now.
He thought of the quote hanging in her office.
You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover’s arms can only come later when you’re sure they won’t laugh if you trip.
He’d always wondered why she felt a special attachment to those words—what it was about them that resonated with her enough to print it out so that she could look at it every day. He’d always thought falling in love would be sudden…abrupt…total head over heels madness, so he didn’t understand her fondness for that description. Now he did. It was their story. She’d known–right down to the part about tripping–she’d known. She just had to wait for him to want to become the type of man that kept a straight face when she tripped—metaphorically, of course.  Too bad she was 2500 miles away when his brain finally decided to figured that out.
“Where are you right now?” he asked abruptly, something familiar about the scenery behind her catching his eye and snapping him from his little daydream.
Y/N’s eyes flicked downward and around the room before she responded. “Me? Just one of the conference rooms in the Comm building on campus.”
“No, you aren’t. You looked down before you answered me.”
“Yes, I am.”
“No, she’s not! She’s lying to you, Robbie. She’s a liar!” someone yelled off-screen.
“Jensen! What the hell?! You ruined it, you moron!” she groaned.
“What!? You’re here?!” That’s why her surroundings had looked familiar. She was in the holding room they used during the convention.
Suddenly, her face disappeared, and Jensen’s filled the screen. “Just looking out for my little buddy here. Making sure you always tell him the truth. Don’t worry Rob, I got your back,” he said with a wink. Rob could hear Y/N demanding him to give her phone back.
“Yeah, uh, thanks for that, bud,” he chuckled. From the ruckus going on and the way the screen was jostling around, Y/N must have been attempting to snatch her phone back from him. Jensen was laughing as he held her off, and then everything went still. Jensen then lifted the phone so that he could see Jared, who clearly had stepped in to help restrain Y/N.
“Robbie, would you please get your ass down here and save me from these two oversized, man-children?” she pleaded, rolling her eyes.
“Yeah, Robbie, come down here and get your girl before she takes out Ackles!” Jared called out teasingly before saying something else he couldn’t hear to Y/N. Whatever it was must have tickled her, because she burst into a fit of giggles.
God, he loved her, and now he’d actually get the chance to tell her.
“On my way, right now,” he answered excitedly and then ended the call, slinging the door open and rushing down the long hallway. He was done walking carefully. He was ready for her to run, and if she tripped, he’d be there to catch her…always.
He was going to get his girl.

Tumblr media
"I don't know if this is such a great Idea Rob." You grumbled as you followed your best friend through the crowded sports bar in the middle of downtown Memphis, Tn.
You were all here this weekend for a convention, and you didn't know if it was a good Idea to be coming with Rob to meet one of his castmates for dinner and drinks tonight.
You weren't part of the SPN cast, and you weren't part of the crew. So you really felt out of place doing this. Sure you and Rob had been friends since you lived in LA across the hall from each other in shit whole apartments all those years ago, but you weren't famous by any means, and you didn't know if his famous friends would appreciate you tagging alone with them to dinner.
You were only a photographer, trying to get a job at one of the bigger publishing companies in LA.
"Oh It will be fine!" Rob assured you as the two of you slid into the very back booth across from each other, and the waitress hands you both a menu.
"What can I get the two of you tonight?" She asked as he pulled out her pad and pin to take your orders.
"Oh we're actually waiting on one more person." Rob said, but before he could get anything else out a voice boomed behind you, and your heart literally landed at your feet...
"Sorry I'm late, but I'll take whatever beer they are drinking sweetheart..." Jensen said, as he slid into the booth next to Rob, smiling at you a moment before turning his attention back to the weightress, who seemed pretty unfazed by her famous patriants..
Once your orders were placed and the weightress disappeared Rob turned to you with a smirk.
"Jensen this is y/n, a good friend of mine from LA I was telling you about yesterday, Y/n I'm sure you know Jensen.." Rob said, and Jensen smiled  kindly at you, making your heart jump into your throat...
"That's how I created the spn super couple that is Jensen Ackles and Y/n Y/L/N," Rob said over the microphone in front of him, the young girl that had asked the last question of how you and Jensen met each other giggled, and  looked around Jensen at Rob. Jensen staring at him with a smirk on his face...
"Well in all fairness Rob, you did introduce us, but I did all the hard work of actually getting y/n to go out with me.." Jensen said, teasing Rob as he leaned against the chair the fan was sitting in.
"Yeah, but don't let Jensen fool you guys, I had to talk him into asking her out in the first place.." Rob said, giving Jensen a look that made the whole giggle."Someone was too shy to ask y/n out even though they had been friends since I introduced them!" Rob said, leering at Jensen jokingly.
Rob wasn't wrong, and Jensen knew it, he'd been too shy to ask y/n out even though he'd been head over heels for her from the moment he'd laid eyes on her.
What Rob wasn't telling though you were thankful for, and that's what made him your best friend, because no matter how much he liked to brag about getting you two together, and no matter how much Jensen like to rile him up by saying it was all his handy work, you and Rob knew the truth, and the truth was that when Jensen finally did ask you out, you freaked right out, lied about having to go meet someone. running home to call Rob, and cry to the only one that knew the truth about how your last relationship ended.
Your ex had been controlling, and mentally abusive, and you hadn't had the guts to date anyone since you finally got the courage you needed to call things off with your ex, and you hadn't had the guts to try dating again. You were convinced that Rob was the only guy you could trust at that point, and even though you liked Jensen...A lot... You were fighting against demons from your past, and you didn't know if you could go through with it.
"Jensen's a great guy y/n, it took a lot of convincing for me to even get him to ask you out! Call that man and tell him you will go to dinner with him! He's probably freaking out in his trailer right now!" Rob scolded you, and you flinched a little at your own childish behavior.
"Rob... What if he's just like my ex, what if I get into another relationship, and this time it's worse, what if..."
"Y/N STOP! You and Jensen have been close since I dragged you out of your hotel room and into that sports bar to meet him. I did it because you guys would be perfect for each other, Jensen doesn't come without his share of scars as well... Just give him a chance, I promise you if you let him slip away from you, you will forever regret it... Let him fix what that douche bag did to you." Rob said, being the voice of reason you so desperately needed.
Your mind filtered back to the hurt, and confused look on the man that had become your friend when you just abruptly left after he asked you to go out to dinner with him tomorrow night. Your eyes flickered to your keys, and you took a deep breath.
You needed to go talk to him.
You couldn't let fear rule you, and Rob was right, you had it just as bad for Jensen as Rob said he had it for you, and if you let this chance with him slip away you'd spend the rest of your life regretting it and wondering what could have been if only you had just given Jensen a chance...
"Okay fine, I'm going to go talk to him, they should still be there doing that photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly... I need to do this in person... I'm scared I hurt his feelings when I just left, and I owe him more than that, I can't keep living in fear of what happened to me years ago, and Jensen is an amazing guy, he deserves to at least get a day, what could one date hurt right?" You said to Rob as you grabbed your keys and bag..
"Atta girl!"  Rob beamed over the phone....
That was three years ago, and you and Rob had kept your conversation a secret, even though Jensen did now know about your ex boyfriend and what he'd done to you, ever since you stepped into that sports bar with Rob and met Jensen you were a goner.
The first date turned into weekly date nights, long conversation on the phone, spending the weekend at one another's place. Long slow kisses, turned into nights of deep passion that you thought only existed in movies... You had fallen in love with him quickly, and you did have Rob to thank for that...
Strong arms wrapped around your middle and pulled you tight into their hold as Jensen's cologne surrounded you, you had been so wrapped up in your thoughts you hadn't even noticed they had exited the stage..
"Hey you." Jensen said, kissing your forehead as you leaned back against his solid chest...
"Hey you."
"Oh aren't you two just disgusting!" Jared said, grabbing your attention as he snapped a picture.
"AWW That's a cute one!!" Bri squealed looking at Jared's phone, as Jared posted it to twitter and tagged you and Jensen in it. Fan's already commenting on and gushing over the picture.
Rob's comment digged as soon as you got into the back of Clif's car and headed toward the hotel room for the night.. The one comment  that made Jensen giggle over your shoulder...
"Your Welcome..."
"We owe him a lot you know..." You tell him, leaning down on his shoulder. His arm wrapping around your shoulders...
"Yeah we do..” Jensen sat silently for a moment before laughing to himself.
“Would It be too big of an ass hole move to start calling him the matchmaker..."

Cons were always a thrill, pumped full of energy and so much excitement forboth the fans and the actors. You were an actress on the show, where yourcharacter was a rogue angel that was working side by side with Mark Sheppard’scharacter Crowley. So, when you got invited by Creation to join theconventions, you were on board without a second thought. What you didn’t expectwas how it was going to change your life – and so much for the better.
It was Saturday Night Special, and you had just finished getting dressed forthe event when you had heard a knock at the door. Frowning, you glanced down atyour cellphone to quickly check the time, making sure that you weren’t late forthe event. However, the time read that there was still roughly an hour beforeyou had to be on stage, or so you thought. Tossing the cellphone down on thebed, you went over to the door and peaked through the peephole to see who wasknocking on your door. A smile came to your face when you saw that it was RobBenedict.
You and Rob had meet during the Cons, and since that moment the two of youwere basically inseparable. More than once the panels that you were on involvedhim and his best friend Richard Speight Jr – it had become a fan request, whichyou found to be very much an honour. And as time went on, eventually Rob foundthe courage to ask you on a date, and since then you haven’t looked back. Neverhad you thought by getting the acting gig that it would have brought you here.
You flattened out your dress, as you opened the door with a smile on yourface, “Hey,” You greeted him a with a kiss.
“You look… beautiful.” He smiled.
Giving a soft chuckle, you couldn’t help but blush at his thoughtful words. “Thanks, and you look very handsome, as always.” You answered, “But you didn’t have toknock, you could have just came in.” You snickered, as you walked back into thehotel room to grab your cellphone.
As you were reaching for the tossed device on the bed, you felt Rob’s handsslide around your waist, as he placed a kiss on your neck. “I’m so in love with you.” He whispered, his lips brushing against the shell of your ear causing you to shiver.
You turned in his arms, draping your arms around his neck. “As I am withyou.” You replied, before placing a heated kiss to his lips.
