i have stupid good hearing, and it drives me up a wall to hear things that most of my friends cannot hear. who, coincidentally, are mostly hard of hearing to some degree so it's just over stimulated hell & ear plug city over here ( i am suffering )

i... do have a bachelors in fine arts....... the thought of paint thinner, any paint types, specific smells of cleaning solutions and orange scented oils give me immediate flashbacks to art classes in the most feral way possible. have i put my degree to use professionally? absolutely not. im in accounting, go figure.

y'all... i have no clue and i'd like to keep it that way. i started rping probably way too early online. was my starting point when spn was at it's peak? yes, please don't bring it up ( cries ). have i met at least 1 lifelong friend that i have, and continue to be, friends with for 10+ years? yes. his parents love me and they're so sweet and he bullies me in game because we both suck at them. anyways, tunglr's a shitshow but writing silly things on here makes it worth it

ANGST : bread and butter........ brick and mortar... required for me and my characters to strive... hurts so good, 100/10, always need more

SMUT : just dipping my pinky toe in it! still rather low on the types of threads i get the most consistent muse for, but it's there.... lingering.. waiting.......

PLOT / MEMES : always down for both, but i do tend to hop from one side to another. sometimes my brain favors plots. other times it's all about memes.

aw gosh <3 -- emotion between the lines! oh that's so validating. gosh -- I did a few of these but for those others --

4. what is the plot bunny you’ve been carrying for the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven’t written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

I actually pulled open my (sadly dusty and neglected) spreadsheet titled FIC YOU SHOULD BE WRITING for this one and had to have a look-see. At least for spn fandom, it looks like I still haven't actually managed to put fingies to keyboard for a fic where Dean (or Deanna, doesn't actually matter in this case) has to get an abortion after being a demon. And like, really truly not knowing who the father is -- Sam? Crowley? any rando? -- but that part doesn't matter (of course it does, it really really does, but he's trying not to think about it) because what matters more is that he was a demon and he can't -- that can't be right. And he can't, he knows he can't. So he comes to the obvious conclusion and makes a decision. So -- not deep existential dread, lol. It's just never been top of mind, and certainly other people have written variations on it already, and what would I bring? What would the point be? idk. So, unwritten. A dusty bunny.

10. at what point in the process do you come up with titles, and how easy or hard is that for you?

99% of the time, lit'rally at the point of opening ao3 and being confronted by the friggin' title box. Why do we require labels for things, mannn. Is it not enough to just vibe? --as this may be indicating, I find it very hard. Every once in a while the Right Title pops out fully formed and you go OH, YES, THAT'S IT but most of the time I'm just morosely scanning song lyrics or science wikipedia pages (for some reason) for inspo. This is also why I don't know the names of most of my own fics, lol. Everything should be titled like Friends episodes -- the one where...

31. tell us about one of your characters who’s an absolute joy to write

Dean, Dean, Dean. <3 Whether he's happy or miserable or furious or hollowed-out depressed, he's so easy. Or, idk, I guess the version-of-Dean-I-write is easy. I hope other people find him to be in character. But really, whether he's the POV or not, he's just -- right THERE, just searingly clear what he should be doing and what he'd say, and honestly at this point joy = obvious, haha. He's a treat. Bless him.

35. tell us about a character who’s very different than you who you love a whole lot

Crowley! I mean I'll make a deadpan quip, admittedly. But Crowley's one I have to really think about when writing (and I don't write him enough, more fool me), and yet it's always a total delight when I do. He's always operating at right angles to whatever scene he's in, playing an entirely different game to whatever the lads are up to, and it's Not how I think of things most of the time so it's always the writing equivalent of doing the crossword puzzle or something. Lateral thinking with Fergus. <3

Okay so i dont remember if youve watched spn or not so I'll explain with the assumption you havent

so basically crossroad demons in spn are emotional manipulators whose jobs are to just, like, manipulate people into selling their souls in exchange for something. They seal deals/contracts with a kiss.

anyways one way they help in that emotional manipulation is that for men, they usually show up as attractive women to seduce the guys into making the deals. One of the only few times the crossroads demon in spn wasnt a girl was for Sam

My guess for what Misha Collins didn't want to be at'ed about while on vacay is today's (wed 6.14.23) horny nyt crossword puzzle that I would bet money was constructed by an SPN fan.

If it were just that he's the answer to 25 down that would be one thing ("Supernatural" actor Collins / Misha), but the S of Misha goes on to make smut across. The leftmost down answers (1, 25) read "lick Misha", which could be coincidence, but is also hilarious. 32 down (Possessive type? / Demon) is very SPN. There's a clue about lurkers. There are some more general clues that normally wouldn't read "I would bet money the constructor has read fic", but given the above I'm getting some more subtle / general fandom pings on a couple of the other clues.

No. I was IN THE CHAIR to get one in college, but I had a mole where I wanted it, & never did get around to picking a different spot. For which I'm grateful; it was a stupid tattoo. If I got one now it'd be the kanji for "clarity of vision."

Favorite colour?

I'm a complete & utter slut for almost ANY colour. Especially fond of chartreuse, bittersweet (dark orange), vermilion.

Favorite type of music?

Dunno - I listen to a LOT of stuff. Latest fave is Kawehi's cover of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box."

Sudoku & NYT crosswords.

Any phobias?

I used to have a phobia about trash cans with a closed lid, but I had a low-oxygen event when my son was born, lost some memories, & the phobia's gone.

No. I do sing out loud at inappropriate moments, though.

What movies do you adore?

"Pride & Prejudice" - the one with Matthew Macfadyen. "Black Mountain Side." I went through a fairly long period when I watched the "Alien" movies every single night.
